The Destiny Islands have always been very peaceful and quiet, and whether you like it or not, it's always seemed like like it's gonna stay that way. With its lovely golden beaches, cool blue ocean, and plenty of things and natural environments to entertain yourself in, it's the farthest thing from "dangerous" that most people can think of. You might hate how "boring" and "stagnant" it is, or love it for being "safe" and "peaceful", but either way, the Islands are gonna keep being the way they are, oblivious to what some of its residents want it to be...

Well, it all seems like that on the surface, anyway.

((AKA, think along the lines of KH1 in terms of plot, but various OCs are the main characters in it instead of Sora, Kairi, and Riku, and there's obvious changes in the story because of this.))

I think the abilities and weaknesses will be close to canon, but I'm still working on things. What I want from you guys the most, tho, is more "normal" types of abilities and weaknesses first. Like, maybe you're a fast runner, but are easily defeatable physically/not good at split second decisions. And, hang on. I'll make a Powers section for the keyblade wielding and magic as well! :D

Sorry if I'm being pretty vague, and nothing makes sense. I've been pretty tired and have had a wack sleep schedule because of my cat recently, so I might be putting things together with less refinement than I usually do. I am super sorry if that's the case!

For alignment, I'm assuming the standard 3x3 grid that's used with things like D&D and Pathfinder. Let me know if that's wrong.

Also, I'm planning on having my guy be a tank, with a Defense boon and a Magic bane, and Air as a primary element. If anyone had any plans on those, I can change up what I've got for a more balanced party comp.

Yeah, despite only being a year older he's very protective of her. Especially after Tsu's disappearance. I'm naming him Alias(uh-lie-us). He was likely there to defend her from the 3 guys, but got beat up due to the odds and age difference before Tsu arrived. He may have developed a crush on her as they got older, but never took it seriously, with his focus being getting stronger and heading out to find another world(with Tsu being additional/now kinda primary motivation).

Here is Alias at last. I'm looking forward to playing him and where the story could take him.

With an actual focus coming together, if y'all don't mind, I can adjust Levi to fit in with the focus a little more.

The concept I had was for Levi, was that he knew Tsu as that older friend from another class. He would've probably gotten to know the others initially as his friend's younger siblings, almost. And, given how much Levi cares about the people who actually give a damn about him, plus the fact that he would've been old enough to understand at the time, would've definitely been affected by what happened to Tsu, and would've been one of the people looking for his remains, regardless of whether or not he was allowed on the search parties. He would also probably come to see the other two as younger siblings, trying his best to help them, even though at first it was out of a feeling of obligation to look out for the people his (allegedly) dead friend cared about. He was usually around, but unless someone came to him needing help, or something was happening that spurred him to action like some idiots trying to pick on a pair of kids who just lost someone they looked up to, or stopping someone from doing anything reckless or stupid, he would hang back and watch.

Thoughts? (And yes, I'm perfectly willing to just not do this if y'all would rather I not. Was planning on having Levi be roughly 19.)

I'm cool with that. I was considering putting in Alias's bio that he and Levi started protecting the beach and looking out for the others together after Tsu's disappearance but I wanted to check with you first. He likely also went with Levi when he went to search for him too and during that search Alias likely shared his theories about other worlds.

Personality: Alias is an adventurer at heart. He has no real ties besides the ones he makes with his friends so he wants to experience all of the world or worlds with his friends. He's very protective of his friends and would put his life on the line for them without thinking about it. His body would just react before his mind does. This got him the worst and best loss on his record against three older jerks. He can be very stubborn and in his own way sometimes. He thinks he knows what's best and that he can solve all of his problems on his own despite his life experiences telling him that people need each other's help. But that's really just due to him feeling ultimately alone despite the connections he's formed. This side of him he typically doesn't show others. Part of him doesn't want them thinking he's weak and another part of him just feels the need to be strong for those around him.

Backstory: Alias is known around his home island as "The Boy who Drifted Ashore". When he was a baby he appeared on a raft to the confusion of everyone. The mayor decided to adopt him and named him Alias. As Alias grew the Mayor discovered that he could not and would not stay in just one place. As soon as he was three years old he took his first journey to the beach. It was as if it were calling out to him, or at least the worlds beyond the ocean. The Mayor was frantic once he realized Alias was gone. A search party commenced and it was night before they eventually found him. He was on the beach playing with a crab underneath the moonlight. From then on Alias went on many such adventures, exploring all that his little island had to offer. On one of these adventures he met the sibling duo, Kitsu and Hoshi. Tsu was the big brother Alias never knew he wanted. When Tsu hung around his older friends he and Hoshi played together. He loved the Mayor, but with Hoshi and Tsu he really started to understand what a family was like. He had seen families all the time, but now he felt like he actually had one of his own.

One day some of Tsu's friends were being mean to Hoshi. They all were going to gang up on her with their wooden swords. He wasn't going to stand for it one bit. He didn't care that there were three of them. He rushed to defend Hoshi and held his own for a bit before the overwhelming difference in number and size crushed him. He was glad when Tsu arrived to put them in their place and from then on he was determined to become the strongest in all the worlds. By then he had only believed in other worlds. He felt like they were calling out for him to explore them, but it wasn't until Tsu's disappearance that he had his confirmation. Alias's grief stayed in the denial stage. He refused to believe that Tsu was dead or gone for good. If he could survive those waters alone as a baby and come here then Tsu had to be somewhere else. Tsu was alive and he was going to find him.

Alias trained even harder after that feeling as Tsu's honorary little brother it was his job to step up and become leader and protector of the beach. A month after he was declared missing Alias approached Hoshi with his theory and plan. They were going to get their brother back.

Appearance: Lucian has soft blonde hair, taking after his mother. His hair falls in loose waves just above his eyes. He has bright blue eyes, much like his mother’s, and a light tan from living on the islands. His build is athletic and slim, perfect for the adventurous lifestyle he leads. His clothing is reminiscent of the royal lineage he doesn’t know he comes from, with subtle gold accents and intricate patterns on his sleeves and collar, though it still maintains the casual, comfortable look of island life.

Personality: Lucian is courageous and optimistic, with a boundless curiosity about the worlds beyond his own. He’s always willing to step up and help his friends, and he deeply values the connections he makes with others. He is compassionate, often taking the time to understand others and offer a kind word or gesture.

However, Lucian occasionally struggles with self-doubt. The discovery of his royal lineage weighs heavily on him. He sometimes wonders if he’s truly worthy of his role as a Prince of Heart or of wielding a Keyblade. This internal struggle makes him question whether he can live up to the high expectations. Especially when compared to others who are more experienced or confident. He’s loyal to a fault, sometimes putting himself at risk to protect those he cares about.

Lucian is fond of animals, having grown up with stories of his mother’s connection to creatures of all kinds. He also dreams of meeting his own Prince Charming.

Charisma and Charm: Even though he wasn’t raised as a prince, he embodies the grace and manners of one. He’s polite, thoughtful, and has a warm, disarming smile that puts people at ease. His presence alone can make others feel important, and he’s often the one who steps in to calm tense situations

Lucian also knows how to use his charm to lift others’ spirits. Whether it’s offering kind words or a gesture of support, he can make others feel seen and valued. This ability makes him a natural leader, even when he’s uncertain of his place in the grander scheme of things.

Self-Doubt: Lucian often questions if he’s truly worthy of his role, especially when comparing himself to others who seem more experienced.

He would spend his days exploring the beaches, climbing trees, and imagining himself going on grand adventures to far-off worlds. His friends often joined in these games, but Lucian always felt like he was destined for something more than island life. Even though he couldn’t figure out why, or what that would even entail.

Lucian’s parents, were loving and supportive. They were always secretive about their past. Whenever Lucian asked about their lives before the islands, they would never give him a straight answer. Lucian often wondered if there was more to their story, but he convinced himself that his parents were simply humble islanders who had found their home on Destiny Islands.
