When she first felt something gathering, Astra stiffened and slowly turned to face wherever it was that she felt it come from. She was clearly ready to defend the sleeping Dante if needed. Her mind wondering what Jeb would do if she and dante died to an intruder so deep into their base. As the wolf showed itself, and showed its politeness, she hesitated but remained cautious. "....i am able to used shadow magic" she carefully confirmed, not claiming the title.

"Well that's a problem, isnt it?" Jacob murmurs, still moving, thankful that aura is a few steps ahead of him, so that he wouldn't need to stop. "Aura, which room do you want?"

The wolf tilted his head and then said “I am searching for the elf that is the shadow weaver. I am searching for the heir of moonlight. But your aura is stronger at the moment. Did i disturb you?”

Aura called “medical wing. I’m going to need blood” bane was trying to think what was wrong then he realized “Ash…she’s tapped out. Could she have been…keeping me stable without realizing it?”

"...I'm afraid you have me at a disadvantage. I don't know who you are or what you want, and I don't recognise these titles you're using. But, I am an elf which can use shadow magic. If you're here looking for that, then it must be me." she hesitates a moment, and shifts in place, "As you can see, there is someone here under my protection. Since I don't know your intentions, you will have to forgive me for being a bit cold."

Jacob moves quickly and heads straight there, luckily there are several medical wings, one which is much closer to the surface than most. Jacob heads for that one, while jeb follows close behind closing doors behind the group.

The wolf looked around and saw Dante laying there. “Oh! Now I see why I came! The heir of moonlight was hoping for aid to help this one!” The wolf walked over and sat down by Dante. “Light poisoning…very bad. But shadows can help”

Aura got into the room and started hanging blood bags and started to heat them with her hands. “Lay him down”

Astra remains confused, tensing as the wolf comes closer to Dante, about ready to use her shadows to push it away. When she was told that shadows would help, she sighs, "Yes. I know that already...he told me it'd be too much for me to help with."

Despite how abrupt Jacob had picked up Bane, he set him down with a lot of control and gentleness, and got out of aura's way. "So...what about someone stabilizing you?"

The wolf looked up and said “that’s why I am here. Pull from my shadows. I am here to help. My heir called me to come help” he moved his tail to her leg and Astra would feel a boost of shadow like mana thru her.

Aura said “I’m heating the mana in this blood. Get the IV hooked up while I do this” Bane grunted and said “Ash fixed me up before…I am wondering if…with her power drained…what if she was keeping me stable?”

Astra gasps, feeling more powerful than ever. But knowing why she needs this magic boost, she pulled herself together to focus on what she needed to do. Holding her hand over Dante's sleeping form again, she woven a cacoon like structure with many layers, utterly coating every inch of him. She could feel that Dante was right, this was quite the drain, as she could feel the shadows needing to be absorbed and replenished. for the healing process.

Her eyes narrowed as she concentrated, still pulling from the wolf's resources, "so...was it Bane?"

Jacob is pretty quick and efficient with his task, and making everything sterile, "Well...if you were in this condition, and she has been stabilizing you without knowing it, then....she wouldnt know to stop."

The wolf looked and shook his head. “No, my heir. The Shadow Fae blooded Heir. She called into the shadows when she was worried. She might not know she called upon me. But I am always listening.”

Bane cursed and said “I’ll have to put a stop to that…” Aura looked over and muttered “explains the shadows all over the place…”

"Interesting..." she mutters, still trying to focus, making sure to keep her breathing even. She might be getting help and a boost to her magic, but she hopes it wont take much more to at least stabilize dante. SHe has no illusions about being able to fully heal him. getting rid of the light sickness would be enough. "...But dangerous. How much magic does that take?"

Jacob sighs, finishing putting IVs into the werewolf. "You're not going to be able to move. But I can probably bring her here. I swear...you're all probably giving the lady a headache."

Chi jiggles awake from his power snooze, and slowly shifts into a cat. A purple and orange cat, beginning to now actually purr.

He paused and said “well I’m not sure personally if she had any idea what we were all doing at once. Your task is almost complete though…I sense the light infection is almost burned off now”

Bane nodded and said “no if you can get her to stop what’s she doing that is enough. She must be spent by now…” he sighed as the blood started coming thru and nodded. “I can feel it working already…”

Ash was barely conscious now, but her eyes open as she felt she had to stay awake a little longer. She was still petting Chi, not noticing the slime to fur change.

Suddenly her stature and muscles seem to sag and loosen up. This has been fairly tough on her mentally, the worst of it, of course, being what she was trying to rectify right now. She didn't want to think about Dante wasting away, looking so pathetic while still trying to assure her that he was fine. Right as rain. Ready to fight again in just a minute. Her jaw clenched in a flash of anger, soon soothed down into annoyance so that she can keep focus.

"...that's good."

He hums, looking towards the door to give the base a listen. But she isn't really making a sound, so he sniffs once, immediately locating her and beginning to walk off, "I'll let her know"

The chi in the lap goes purr purr purr....

All the way until the door opens again, "Ash, I assume..."

The wolf moved to curl around her and grew bit bigger and supported her. “Well done. Don’t worry, he will be alright now. His shadow is telling me his breathing has returned to normal and his nerves are sharp now…can I help you sit down?”

Bane nodded softly and said “thanks…brother…” he was looking tired now thanks to the warm blood now.

Ash looked up at the sound of her name and looked over. “Oh hello…we haven’t met have we?”

She drops her arms, the spell dispelling. When she sees dante in a better state, she is even more relieves, looking over at the wolf helps support her. She gives a weak smile, "...thank you." A deep, slow inhale, and a similar exhale, "...I think I could use some sleep. Its been a long night."

Jacob nods slightly, "Indeed. We were only briefly in proximity earlier. " he quietly walks in, looking at chi and smiling slighlty but looking back over at ash. After a moment of consideration, he kneels down to her level, "Young lady. Your friend will be fine. You may not be aware of it, but you have been supporting him this entire time. Please rest. Be at ease, so that he can too."

Chi looks up at jacob, trilling curiously.

The wolf nodded and said “maybe I can help you there? I am Beta by the way. It’s nice to meet you”

Ash blinked and then said “Bane? Oh I know. I felt it during the fight…I didn’t think I was supporting him this long though…I was using my shadows to protect everyone but…I failed in that…”

She chuckles softly, "Hello Beta, it is nice to meet you. I am Astra, the leader here" she breathes deeply again, relaxing, "...I think I can get there, but I wont deny your help." she settles a little, head tilting to the side. She takes in the calming elements around her...the softness of the fur, the scent of the wolf, the feeling of his warmth against her back, and the tingle of her shadows mingling with his.

"I see...I'm relieved you were actually aware. I won't have to convince you then. We are stabilizing him and keeping him heated."

Chi leans closer, drawing the vampires eyes again. With a sigh, he reaches over and gently pats the cats head. "Hello Chi. I am glad to see you well."

The sleepy elf groaned internally, not wanting to actually move from her spot...but she should probably sleep in an actualy bed. many of her people would complain to her if she decided to sleep on the floor. With a sigh, she gets on her feet, and begins to mumble directions to the nearest single sleeping quarters.

Jacob falls nto a thoughtful moment, " Hm...is it not enough to feel that the help is no longer needed?"
He falls quiet, "...perhaps you should let yourself sleep? I can bring you back to a room with a bed."

Beta listened then shifted and became a bigger wolf and pulled her onto his back and followed her words to the letter. He opened the door with his nose walked to the bed.

The room, like many rooms, was utilitarian in nature. There is some storage, and one generic but pleasant piece of artwork on the wall. But other than that, it has been kept bare. Once they arrive, Astra sighs, though manages to keep her grumbling internal. Once she slides off of the large wolf, she pauses to enjoy a few pats along his neck, "Thank you"

"As far as I kow" he nods some, " your friend is being tended to, and chi here looks like he is recovering fine. If you would like, I can check on Dante again. Then I would implore you to rest" Jacob says, but keeps his voice fairly calm and helpful.

Beta nodded and asked “would you like me to stay with you? Keep you warm?”

Ash tried to get up holding Chi in her arms. “I can come with you? See if anyone needs anything…”

Bane was looking a lot better by now and opened his eyes a bit. “Is it good I sleep here? Or is it bad for my back?” Aura looked over and said “no that chair isn’t great to sleep. Let’s get you to a bed over here”
