Nicknames/Aliases Mama Tsuki | Lady Fujino | One-Eye'd Wolf of Sakanoshita | CodeName: Silver Tengu
Birth City/District: -Redacted-
Age: 55 Years Old
Height 6'0 ft (1.84 m)
Racial Background: Pure Blood Japanese
Race: Y.S.G Natural Born (Who're often referred to as Shoguns in the mega-cities)
Hair Color: Silver
Eye Color: One Blue/One Grey
Appearance: Tsuki has a vary intimidating aura and stature, said to be able to suck the air out of the room just by walking in. Standing at 6ft tall, she isn't necessarily the tallest person, but tends to be noticeable based on height alone. Being a part of the Jaeger, Tsukiyama has had to maintain her physical health for more than 25 years, and her body shows that. Underneath what typically is a black turtle neck, is an exceptional toned and built body, like that of an Y.S.G born and raised solider. The Jaeger program kept her on a tight training and maintaining regiment that, despite being ten years gone from the government position, she still follows the regiment to a T. She also has an uncanny beauty for being 55, seeming to have stopped aging in her 20s, having Y.S.G has prolonged her health and aging. Tsukiyama is riddled in dozens of scars all over her body, not just the ones present across face and up her neck. Being a Jaeger meant a lot of combat and skirmishes, having come close to dying several times, her scars are a window into who she was prior to becoming woman she is now. She also has a vibrant neon tattoo of a simple black swan at the back of her neck, near the base.
Mutation Marker(s): She has one grey eye, that gives the illusion shes blind, but it simply it cloudy, seeming to be filled with mist almost. She also has the white wings of a crane that she can keep tucked to her body to seemingly disappear under her clothes. She also was born with long flowing silver hair that has never lost its vibrance.
Personality:
Tsukiyama is a very particular person for some with Y.S.G, once called too soft for being a Y.S.G Holder when she was younger. She is typically considered one of the most down to earth Y.S.G Holders many come into contact with residing in Sakanoshita. Especially for someone running a gang in the more seedy parts of Neo-Tokyo. Truth be told, she often thinks that the job isn't for her secretly, she feels like she should have been a doctor or care taker, but she'd learn it really doesn't matter what she thinks pretty early on in her life. Upon realizing she was a Y.S.G holder, or rather her family realizing, her life would be carefully laid out in front of her, never being allowed to stray from it. She would be forced to be perfect in every way, from her attitude, to her mannerisms, even the way she spoke would have to be eloquent and perfect. Because she was always told to put others before herself, this is where the base of her personality starts, a child who wanted to be perfect for a family that she could never be perfect enough for.
Tsukiyama has a very calming personality much of the time, like that of a mother or a grandmother, because of her experience as both a mother and and a wife. She learned to deal with a lot of problems such bickering or disagreements and happens to have a very soothing voice that seems to want to lure you into a calming state or even sleep. She loves to go through problems with people and act like a mother or therapist giving her opinion on what they should do or say. She is over all the nicest when it comes to those sort of things and she loves helping others a lot. Even if they aren't the nicest, she tries her best to help out with even the smallest of others problems, whether it be physical or mental, she does her best to use her wealth knowledge and try and give the best advice she feels possible. The other gang leaders find her personality interesting as she strives to help even the evilest of people before having to fight. As long as its not killing the innocent, Tsukiyama will try help with almost, again almost, every task. Though there are some boundaries she will not cross, those involve her body, killing comrades and overall just wrongly hurting or extorting people. Those are the boundaries she will not cross even if her life is on the line and a sword is at her neck.
She can also be much like a sage when helping people through physical hardships, helping them train, even save their sorry asses if need be. She gonna try her best to help the newbies out whenever possible, even ones that aren't going to be fond of her. If the person is willing, she do her best to help them train, just ask nicely and she'll do her best to make you stronger. This part of her comes from the fact that she no longer has Y.S.G Soldiers to train, having been ten years since she quit the J.F Special Forces. She loves giving advice that is honest regardless of if they will hurt your feelings, she will not lie to you even if it comes down to saying something mean, she only wants you to get better and if things need to be said then she will say it. Granted she does understand feelings and try to dial it back in certain situations, but for the most part, you will get the truth out of her and nothing less. In the event that she does lie to you, which rarely will happen, she would do it for the protection of not only herself but you and the people involved if it is that serious then at that point she will keep it to herself and only the people she is sure can handle it so that she does not cause mass panic.
She does have a dark center however, her time as a Jaeger did harden her into a dangerous person. Gaining the name of One-Eye Wolf of Sakanoshita was not for nothing. She is exceptionally trained in combat scenarios, dealing with hundreds of missions in her 25 years working in the J.F military, 22 years of which were in the Special Forces division. Not only was she a member of the Jaeger Branch, but she also lead a squad for many years, before going on to become training director for the Jaeger Branch. She is a trained killer, with more then 500+ confirmed kills under her belt. She is not someone you want to cross, as underneath the sage like persona, lays someone ready to do ANYTHING is possible to keep her gang and people safe. Not many have seen her fight in combat, but the ones who have, have gone on to say that she becomes unrecognizable. As if she becomes an disciple of death itself, there is no one who has crossed her, breathing alive and well.
TL:DR: Tsukiyama is the Mother of the gang, she’s looking out for not only her own but her surrounding community, and will do her best to guide them. But understand all circumstances, do not try to cross her or get on her bad-side, it might lead to an immediate dirt nap.
Aspirations: -She tries and rise above the darkness that is Neo-Tokyo Gang Culture. -To better the lives of the people she leads and those that rely on her. -Supporting her local community and attempting to provide order in a district of chaos. -Hopefully one day wash away the sins that she committed as a Jaeger for the J.F -To disrupt the J.F at every turn and destroy any power they hold over Yokai'kuma.
Fears: -The death of her Gang members. -Failing to better the lives of those around her. -Never being able to escape the shadow of her time serving the J.F. -The J.F's political policies and power.
Vehicle: Mitsubishi Horizon ZR6 Tsukiyama has always been more partial to the older body styles of motorcycles from the past. When Mitsubishi announced they be making a retro bike, She could hardly contain her excitement. Thanks to her job with the government, and a high position at that, she was able to be one of the first to order and purchase one. Hers has a white base paint with gold and black trim, with the Kurotori symbol of the black swan as a decal on the right side of the bike. The bike is a hyrbid, capable of riding on the road, or switching seamlessly into its hovercraft mode. It is naturally faster on the road than on the hoverzones, as it is a retro build, capable of reaching speeds up to 250MPH. The bike has an active A.I system, that aids in keeping the Bike on the road at its top speed. The A.I system also has a An Active Protection Policy that keeps a small invisible forcefield around the bike when it's in motion. It does not disturb whatever it touches unless the A.I deeps it a threat to the driver. It also syncs to a special helmet that has a Heads up Display projected on the visor of the helmet. The bike requires a hand imprint cybernetic that acts as a biometric key. Meaning the bike cant be turned on or activated unless Tsuki remains in close proximity.

Strengths/Natural Abilities: -Redacted-
Weaknesses/Flaws: -Redacted-
Y.S.G Ability(ies): Base Ability: Object Displacement Within an invisible sphere of fifteen meters around Tsukiyama, she can teleport any object (living or Inanimate) that enters within the sphere of influence, anywhere within fives miles around her, either vertically or horizontally. There are some requirements for Tsuki to be able to use it on living objects. The most important requirement, is eye contact, not having to be longer than 3 seconds in total of uninterrupted eye contact is necessary for complete displacement. Otherwise she will either teleport a portion of the object, or be unable to control the direction and/or destination of the displacement. She also must stand still prior to attempting precise displacement, otherwise it can result in horrible disasters or accidents. She also is able to teleport herself freely within the sphere of influence, it appearing as though she's suddenly popping from place to place if you were to watch her use the ability on herself. Being a natural born Y.S.G, her power at birth were already pretty strong, accidentally teleporting her father into the sky above the hospital when he held her for the first time. She also happened to be a Y.S.G Holder, whose power had the ability to awaken twice.
First Awakening: Object Acceleration/Deceleration Following in the same distance of Object Displacement, Tsukiyama is able to speed up or slow down living and nonliving objects within the sphere of influence. All the same requirements apply, this awakened portion of her ability requires even greater focus in order to use it precisely. She simply must think about the speed or lack of speed she wants in the object and she can enforce the change in speed immediately or gradually. She must maintain absolute focus if she wants to specifically use the ability on an enemy and not an ally also within the invisible sphere as an example. Meaning she is heavily vulnerable when attempting to use this portion of her ability precisely around her allies. From the perspective of a living object being subjected to this ability, they would totally be unaware of the changes at first, only simply feeling something was incredibly off. Quickly however, Living objects that were sped up would feel as if they were teleported, and the space around them seem to be moving in slow motion. Where as if they were slowed, they would feel as though they were slowly treading in wet cement, unable to control their forward momentum or actions. Time would appear to pass them at a terrifying speed, with no way to react properly. She also can apply these properties to herself if she chooses too.
Second Awakening: Liminal Purgatory -Redacted-
Soul Binder/Weapon(s): Kusarigama - A chained sickle-esque weapon with a spiked weight at the end. Tsuki soul binder is a perfect match for her, capable of close combat and mid ranged attacks. The weight on the end is said to be well over four hundred pounds, capable of destroying walls and the ground by a simple swing. If anyone were to pick up her soul binder or attempt to use it, they would quickly discover the weight of the weapon was outstanding, despite Tsuki wielding it as if it were no light than a feather. It's summoning and desummon effects consist of a mist that covers her abilities sphere of influence and lingers for ten minutes. Covered in battle scars and being solid black, Tsuki's Kusaigama has only been shown to a handful of people that are still living.
Cybernetics/Gadets/Accessories: She does have a small implant that allows her to use Kurotori's private netspace on the go and contact her gang members. She also has a custom hand imprint on the inside of her right hand, it white, gold and black to match her motorcycle. It serves several different purposes, its primary function being a biometric key to her home and bike, as well as her office at the Kurotori's homebase. It secondary functions include, a virtual wallet, the cybernetic itself is bullet proof and can be used as a shield against bladed weapons and a flash light.
E X T R A
Anything else? - Theme Song - She has a slight addiction to Yokai Tabacco, a sort of Y.G Weed variant that aids in eliminating the slight pain in her hand she feels from her cybernetic implant. She will often be seen smoking or rolling her own cigarettes. - She has an extensive knowledge of the inner-workings of Neo-Tokyo and decent knowledge on the other Mega-Cities having been a Jaeger for so many years. She has a wealth of knowledge on how the J.F functions as well, that has helped the Gang avoid the lime light for the most part. - Because of her life before coming to Sakanoshita, she has a seemingly unlimited number of connections and contacts that she's made with her work in the J.F Special Forces.

Tsukiyama would leave the Jaeger Program and the J.F as a whole at the age of 45. After the incident of - redacted - she would be dishonorably discharged from the J.F Special Forces Jaeger Branch. Now having the opportunity to be herself and make her own choices after giving her all and serving without once stopping to question her orders, she wanted to change the status-quo that was the J.Fs control over Yokai'kuma. Understanding that this was no small task and would have to take time to accomplish successfully, she decided to start her plans in the heart of Sakanoshita. Opening up a illegal car modifications shop, named Fujino Motorworx in the heart of the district. Tsuki would spend ten years building the shops reputation as a reliable shop that did good and honest business despite being in one of the more seedier parts of Neo-Tokyo. Because Tsukiyama had an untapped wealth of savings from working in such a high position in the J.F Military, the stock she was able to acquire was nearly unlimited, especially as the shop began obtaining high society clientele commissions. All the while, Tsuki herself would become a bit of local celebrity, known as a kind and gentle business owner in the dangerous and treacherous Downtown Sakanoshita. Her shop that started as as only a vehicle mod shop, would eventually add a club within its walls. This bar would begin to be called the Kurotori, a safe space within Sakanoshita where those who felt like they didn't belong in any of the groups in Sakanoshita. Tsuki was the bartender, seemed to welcome must anyone that would behave. There was also many rumors of the few occasions someone had decided to wrong such a nice lady. In turn, a swift and almost blindingly fast end would almost always come their way. There also was a very old rumor that not anyone dare mention in her establishments, that she was once the Head Jaeger and Training Director for the J.F. Some unfortunate souls learned this the hard way very early on into Tsukiyama's arrival in Sakanoshita.
Now ten years later, Fujino Motorworx has a steady line of regular customers, who only trust the shop to touch their car. The Kurotori is typically always packed with drifters and characters of all types but there is one thing they all have in common. They seek a place to get away from outside world that was Neo-Tokyo. In the bar, there was always laughter and excitement, and while Tsukiyama wasn't the main bartender always, the occasions she would, it would always mean free drinks for the night. Only within the last year has she started the second phase of her operation against the J.F, recruiting the people she trusted most to join in her gang, a front that she was going to use to disturb the general ecosystems of each district and respect big gangs. Of course she always wanted the people she recruited to be able to live the lives that seemed so unobtainable from the perspective of someone on the streets in Sakanoshita. She was unsure of if this was the correct move, but after 10 years of embedding herself back into Neo-Tokyo's underbelly, she felt her plan would work sufficiently, or rather she hoped.
Michiko Orinatsu | Digital Wraith
C H A R A C T E R I N F O R M A T I O N
Name: Michiko "Mich" Orinatsu
Nicknames/Aliases: Digital Wraith | Ghost In the Machine
Birth City/District: Heita District, Neo-Tokyo
Age: 25 Years Old
Height: 5'4 ft (1.62 m)
Racial Background: Russian|Japanese
Race: Zero Percenter
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Gray
Appearance: Coming in at a whooping 5'4, Michiko is often much smaller then those around her. That however doesn't mean she goes unnoticed in a room, her full chrome cybernetic body meant she was always gawked at for one reason or another. She opted to have her body copied in the proportion's of her flesh body from before she went through with the procedure, being most comfortable with the kickboxer physique her dead father had sculpted into her very soul. Though Michiko would never admit it, the various spikes going up her arm and down her back in two rows was a cosmetic choice. The chrome going up to the top of her neck and stopping at her chin and jaw, her pale skin was the only thing tying her back to her humanity visually. Various ports and inserts found their way around her body, meant for various jobs and tasks she had built the body for. She tends to wear custom clothes tailor made to fit around her body and only occasionally goes without clothes, donning her full chrome body in all her pride. Needless to say, her body exist to interface with the AkumaNet, and the various technologies around Neo-Tokyo. Give her long enough, and she should be able to break her way into anything, Physical or otherwise.
Personality: The way Michiko carries herself fits her nickname almost perfectly. From her personality to her voice, eyes and height, it all fits comically well in a way. If she were a part of an anime, she would most definitely be a part of the Kuudere category. Mich is...cold when around people she doesn't know. She doesn't mean to be cold or anything like that, it's just her lack of an ability to relate to others. She tends to honestly act like an emotionless robot most of the time. When in the presence of large groups of people, she is especially quiet and keeps to herself unless spoken to, it's just been one of things that she developed from living in Heita all her life. If she happens to smile at you with in a couple months of meeting you, that means she has taken quite the liking as she doesn't show happiness often, if at all. When around strangers and friends it gets a bit awkward, because one moment she is nice and talkative, well for her at least, and the next moment, she could be quiet and to the point.
Talking to friends she is slightly more expressive and emotional. She even will attempt some small talk and joking around, her flat tone adding to the delivery. While an outsider might see her as hard to approach, the Kurotori would tell them she's probably the easiest to talk to, behind Tsukiyama. She has this sort of thing she does where she'll just be quiet and the next moment she'll start talking out of the blue to her friends, she even does it in the middle of important things. An example being, they could be mid crisis and in the middle of an intense battle, she'll just suddenly blurt out "I'm...really hungry, do you think we could get food after this?". She sometimes has a passé attitude towards danger and battles, which absolutely can get her into trouble.
There is another part of Michiko that that is widely unknown outside of the Gang and previous opponents, but she is quite the ruthless fighter, on account of her emotionless personality and her experiences in Heita, she has a habit of not backing down when she knows she has a chance. She doesn't really think anyone can be particularly scary. This tends to be the most reckless part of her, as she'll never back down from a fight and more likely then not, heavily hurt herself in fights that require her to fully fight. She has one of the strongest resolves and if you find yourself at the end of her various weapons, pray she takes it easy on you or one of the Kurotori are there to stop her. Her parents taught her how to fight, and once they passed away, she had to protect herself and her brother. As a result, she is extremely protective of those she loves and considers them her own, the gang being an example.
Aspirations:
Her biggest Aspiration is saving her brother from the clutches of the Tormented.
Her second biggest goal, is to dismantle the Kurushimu and kill Goro Uemaru.
She wants to fulfill Tsukiyama's goal and plans for the Kurotori.
When she can finally rest and find a place to settle down into a normal life, she wants to open an orphanage to get orphans out of Heita.
Fears:
That her brother might be to far gone, and she might have to be the one to stop him.
Failing Tsukiyama and her grand scheme.
Her gang mates dying or getting hurt, because of her choices or lack of ability.
Vehicle: Mitsubishi Horizon ZR6 One of the first things Tsukiyama had given to her was a matching bike to the womans own. However that were slight modifications made to better fit the tiny girl and make it more comfortable for her. Hers has a light purple base paint with dark purple and black trim, as well as the Kurotori symbol of the black swan as a decal on the right side of the bike.
P O W E R / C Y B E R N E T I C S I N F O R M A T I O N
Strengths/Natural Abilities:
SpecWrx TM-4512 Custom Chrome Body - When Tsukiyama found her 10 years ago, her body already mostly replaced with cobbled together cybernetics the girl had practically duct taped to herself. Tsuki gave her the opportunity to level the playing field, bankrolling whatever replacement Mich wanted, with the caveat that she worked for Tsuki and stopped trying to get herself killed fucking with the Tormented. The TM stands for Technomancer, a specialty line within SpecWrx Complete Replacement Body Systems (CRBS). CRBS is exactly as it sounds, cutting away all the fleshy bits, and replacing it with a YG forged titanium alloy body shell, capable of sustaining life even if a building falling on her in the worst case scenario (was recommended not to give this a try). Inside is various system replacements that have allowed Mich to keep up with the average YSG, she could never beat one on her own, but she can survive at the very least until help arrives. The body is powered by a single charge fuel cell, filled with a proprietary liquid she created called "YoJuice", a condensed Yokai blood formula. A single cell is capable of sustaining her life systems for a week, before she has to replace the cell with a fresh one.
Fearless- Because of her upbringing and where she was born, Mich has grown quite the backbone. She rarely if ever is intimated by others, or let alone let any emotions dictate the way she fights. Because of this she is capable of rallying people even in the worst of scenarios or situations, and she is ruthless and decisive regardless of the adversity she might be experiencing. She will always ensure that her confidence and leadership never wavers, even in the face of death.
Close-Mid Range combat Specialist - She is especially gifted in close to mid-range combat, both from the training she experienced as a kid from her deceased former Y.U.F (Yokai'Kuma's Ultimate Fighter) heavy weight champion father, and the training she's had from Tsukiyama personally. Despite her small stature, she is exceptionally crafty in leveraging others weight and using her size to her advantage. She also has to overcompensate for her height, meaning she goes twice as hard during fights over an average size fighter. Scrappy and Cunning would best describe her combat style, not hesitating to do whatever it takes to win.
Decent Marksmanship - While she is no master or even pro marksman, she does have a decent aim and extensive training from Tsukiyama. She prefers pistols and sub-machine guns over assault or long rifles, as they are much easier to carry and less awkward for someone her size. She will always have her two pistols and SMG that Tsukiyama gifted her as a "Sign on" bonus so to speak. She's become exceptionally proficient using this these guns in close combat over the ten years doing jobs for Tsuki on the side.
Extensive Knowledge on all Tech and AkumaNet related subjects - If she had been born with at least Yokai Gene's, like her brother, she would have found herself in the middle of a bidding war to sponsor her research. Too poor to go to Old-Kinshasa, the only place a Zero-Percenter like her would get paid what her projects deserved. Despite growing up in Heita, it's proximity to the borderwall, and being a lawless town, Michi often found herself in possession of technology companies would be millions for. But that didn't explain it all, how she developed a genius level expertise in not only Zero-Percenter tech, but able to grasp the complicated task of modifying this tech for YG and YSG holders. Her father left her and her brother often to go get whatever money he could manage, but he stoked the engineering fire that seemed to engulf his eldest and in large part, despite it being barebones, is the reason Mich could be considered a leading mind in the world of technology in Yokai'Kuma today.
Weaknesses/Flaws:
Zero-Percenter - Even with her body being upgraded, she is still vunerable to the pitfalls of being a normal human. She doesn't have a natural healing ability, her body is capable but only for a week before she has swap out her fuel cell. This is unavoidable as of right now, her life systems shut down after five minutes of running on empty, her body slowly losing function after function until she enters a "Stasis" mode. Trapped in her body with full consciousness but unable to do anything until someone replaces the cell for her.
Reckless - Because of her lack of emotions and fear, Michiko often finds herself in especially dicey situations and in constant conflict with the Big Ego's of Sakanoshita. For a relatively Quiet girl, she has bizarre amount of enemies.
Small - Pretty self explanatory, she has made up mostly for her height, but she suffers from the same things most other short people do.
Altruistic - It's not that she doesn't care about what happens to herself, it's just that she puts her family and gang before herself. She will do anything and everything to ensure the safety her people, much to the detriment of her own health and wellbeing. She is constantly striving to the most she can for Tsukiyama, something Mama Tsuki has requested for her stop, and often goes sleepless in order to be the most useful she can be.
Blind-Hatred For Goro Uemaru - While she hasn't seen the vile man since she left Heita and her brother behind, she has a deep seeded and inhuman amount of hatred for the man. If she saw him again, all hell would break loose as the tiny girl would B-Line straight for him. She stands little chance on her own and Tsukiyama has consistently reminded her of this, but despite all that, she cannot let go of her feelings or want to kill Goro in the most violent of ways.
Weapon(s):
SpecWrx TM-4512 Custom Chrome Body (As Seen in Reference Picture) - Stated before, the custom body is not only strong, but littered with spikes up her arms and down her back. They are both functional and fashionable, and Mich is able to retract them when needed. She is also able to comfortably lift half ton with effort and strain her body and increase fuel cell usage to carry ton, her fuel cell isn't rated for increased output longer than ten seconds. She'll risk either breaking the fuel cell or causing it to explode past recommended strain. Inversely she is able to runs of speeds up to 100 MPH for around 10 minutes before having to stop to cool down her body. Overheating in general is an increased risk for the TM-4512, she does have a specialized cooling system, but overheating runs the risk of frying brain or destroying her life systems and killing her in the process. Sustained overheat past five minutes pretty much marks a death sentence for her at this point.
TPR Urban Utility Axe - TechPointRobotics is a radical new company rising in Neo-Tokyo, experimenting with the limits of Smart Melee weapons, capable of syncing with AkumaDrive systems and spawning an infinite number of uses both tactical and offensive. Mich's specifically were made to act in similar fashion to that of Thor's hammer, a auto retrieval system that will return her axes back to her with an outreached hand. She also opted to modify the weapon and added a XeFr Ultra Hot heating system to the edges of the weapon, capable of heating the edge so hot, it cuts through most things like butter. She carries two and they have special holsters from her wrist, up to her elbow, the axe heads protruding as functional weapons as well. She also can store them in her thighs if not in combat, giving her freedom not to accidently cut what she lay her elbows on.
RetroArms .45 ACP X5 - RetroArms, typically know as RA weapons, is a weapon manufacturing dealing with designs and types from the past and bringing them to the present with a twist. The .45 ACP X5 was popular circa 2080 and was largely regarded as the go to service pistol for Y.L.E.A. Tremendous stopping power and heavily reliable, the pistol has a 12 round mag standard, with the more premier option for 15-20 rounds. While they typically run slightly bigger then the standard personal pistol, Mich had the grips and 15-round mags custom made to fit in her hand better. She also asked for custom made integrated silencer barrels on both pistols. What she forgoes in range, she gains massive pluses to her stealth, capable of firing this weapon a foot from someone and no noise coming from the pistols. She typically carries around Yo-Rounds, as they do a could job against both Yokai and Y.G holders. She also carries three special 20 round mags with Shogun-Rounds for the off chance she might have to fight a Y.S.G Holder. She carries two of these pistols, and has dedicated holsters under her arms for them both.
BandyTech 9mm UR9 Compact - BandyTech, better known for their reliable firearms, quite literally being able to throw their weapons through hell, and have faith they'll never fall you. Customizable on fly, both the mag system, barrel system and analog sight rails allows her to run this SMG three ways, loud and fully automatic, spraying down with a 200 round drum, Silent and fast, with a 100 round drum, or quick and precise, stuck in semi-automatic mode, a scope and a 50 round mag. The gun is smart locked to her body, and will no fire unless her hands are on it. She also has gone through the effort of repainting the weapon all black, and typically carries the various attachments for on the go customization in a small pack she carries with her on missions.
Cybernetics/Gadets/Accessories: SpecWrx TM-4512 Custom Chrome Body (As Seen in Reference Picture) - Beyond the offensive capabilities and durability of the body due to the material it's made out of, she has a host of cybernetic life systems, all her organs replaced with BioMed AH Systems, synthetic organs meant to sustain and recreate the necessary functions for her still semi-human heart and brain. All of this powered and tied together by a fuel lodge located opposite of the place her heart lies. Her heart has been partially modified to pump more oxygen to her brain for easier processing speeds, it also allows her to carry the whooping 300 lbs of weight the body requires to carry all the hardware and still move efficient and fluidly. Her skeletal frame was also replaced and reinforced to both carry the weight and give her full range over her joints and limbs. Her brain being the most interesting required upgrade, has been modified with what amounts to a couple of computers replacing portions of her brain. It's given her access to parallel thought computing and a host of other things needed to go to toe with the worst of Neo-Tokyo's AkumaSystems and People.
SpecWrx DVL AkumaDriveX - SpecWrx's proprietary top of the line "Tech Management" AkumaDrive System. Sold under the guise of giving tech repair workers in the city the ability to interface with ANY AkumaNetwork connected device for a guaranteed ability to fix any problem that hit their desk. It allows for the ability to force install your own software into any device and give you the ability to bypass any "locks" that hold the figurative door closed to the network. It also has a special interface created personally by Mich that allows her to represent the digital space one would see through lines of code, into a 3D space within her mind. It makes for streamlining any of the noise that could potentially take time for her to sort through, and instead acts a sort of "FPS" game like environment for her to play and win against. The more intense a Networks system, the harder the difficulty of the minigame she has to play. This AkumeDrive is in large part why any system in Neo-Tokyo that Mich has been able to drop into has yet to keep her and by proxy the Kurotori out.
SpecWrx Digikey PR - On the inside of her hands, are the Digikey Palm Readers, a multipurposed Palm replacement cybernetics that allows her interface directly with devices and technology that doesn't have a visible dataport viable. Things like cars and locked doors, as long as she can touch it, can use her AkumaDrive to interact with said thing. It also acts as her personal wallet, and her key to club, auto shop, personal car and room, as well as previous devices she has already cracked into. Even shaking hands or letting her touch you could be potentially lethal, able to interface directly into others cybernetics with a simple touch.
SpecWrx NightHawk Optics - A requirement for specific TM she had built and installed for her, they're a complete optic replacement, allowing her to customize not only her sight, but also it's visual appearance. Allowing for telescopic zooming to the level of a Lab Microscope and capable of seeing up too a mile. They also come with a specialty feature called RealColor Night Vision, capturing and relying even pitch black room back to her as if she were wearing dark sunglasses inside. In addition too, they also come with standard Thermal and multispectral viewing. She also can stream video and live calls into her vision, as well as surf the AkumaNet for information and the like. This is what allows her to see into and work within Networks.
SpecWrx X Sony Surreal Sound Scape- A SpecWrx collaboration with the mega powerful Sony Company, take form in an eardrum cybernetic, that allows her to adjust the sensitivity of her hearing to an incredible degree. Able to focus her hearing, she is capable of listening to conversations up to 200m away from her with focus. She can also listen through materials that allow sound to escape through it. She can use this in a multitude of ways to spy and collect information, and it allows her to sync her hearing to surveillance cameras audio and allows her to catch conversations within videos, that even the surveillance video didn't capture. Functioning in conjuction with the SpecWrx NightHawk Optics, she is able to recreate audio by visually reading lips and recreating the audio by compiling any audio that might have been captured and uploaded to the AkumaNet through social media or from recorded surveillance video.
SpecWrx BO Lining - Along the inside of the chrome body, likes a special material made from YG material, that nullifies things like EMPs or disrupters over her bodies various pieces of tech. It wont effect anything outside of her body, but it will keep her safe and unaffected unless it can pierce through her metal skin to get to the internals below.
Nicknames/Aliases Ren to his friends, Gojinka to strangers, occasionally “foolish boy” to Tsuki, and “Nightmare of the Kurotori” to those on the receiving end of his fury
Birth City/District: New-Paris
Age: 22
Height 5’10 or 1.77 m
Racial Background: Irish/Japanese
Race: Y.S.G Natural Born
Hair Color: Red
Eye Color: Yellow
Appearance: Ren inherited his mother’s bright red hair, one of the only things that ties him to his human origins. Most of his body is covered in charcoal colored fur, his legs ending in cloven hooves and his hands tapering into sharp, black claws. What little exposed skin one can see is a silvery-grey in color, contrasting against his yellow, predatory eyes. Wings of mottled brown and red feathers stretch out from his back above a cobalt blue tail covered in snakeskin. Its eyes track those surrounding it with a baleful intelligence, occasionally letting out a low hiss or widening its maw just enough to reveal a hint of fang. Within his own mouth, a forked tongue hides behind a row of sharp teeth. Curling horns of black obsidian crown Ren’s monstrous form.
Mutation Marker(s):
Little Orochi: The true Yamata no Orochi has many heads. Ren has only two, the one atop his shoulders, and the bright blue snake acting as his tail. Usually it remains silent, but has been known to let out a hiss of displeasure when Ren makes certain choices.
Chimeric Icarus: Rust colored wings grow from out of Ren’s shoulder blades, and reside in a visible but retracted state when he is grounded. However, with feathers flared Ren is capable of taking to the skies for a short time despite the effort involved, or gliding even longer.
Luciferian Ram: Dark fur covers Ren’s legs and parts of his torso and arms, his feet absent in place of powerful hooves.
Draconic Visage: There is something almost kingly about the dark horns atop Ren’s head despite their savage appearance. The same could be said for his yellow eyes, which shine with a cunning that bears no resemblance to any earthly reptile. His claws too, are not the grasping talons of a bird of prey, but rather powerful, slashing things.
Personality: Complicated is a good word to start with. Ren lives his life fast and recklessly when his time is his own, whether that’s soaring above the streets by wing or hoverboard or racing through them atop his motorcycle. When Ren needs to blow off steam, he sheds the trappings of his humanity and gives into the base, animalistic urge kerneled at the center of his brain to just… Go!
He laughs easily, loves to have fun, and enjoys a wide variety of interests beyond the kinetic. History and yokai science are of particular fascination to him. At the same time, he has a cold streak and a bit of a chip on his shoulder from the circumstances of his upbringing. As much as he loves Tsuki and is fiercely loyal to the gang, he can’t stand the sense that he’s being stifled, and wants desperately to return to his childhood, one that was free of the trappings of human society with all of its rules and judgments.
He knows such a thing would be impossibly foolish, so the reckless ideal persists only as a dream to escape within.
In combat, he will usually focus on resolving the conflict as swiftly as possible regardless of the brutality involved, though there are some days that something resentful sinks into his stomach and stays there until it worms its way out. As such, Ren has been accused of “playing with his food” on more than one occasion, toying cruelly with combatants that never had a hope of defeating him in the first place.
Ren is contradictorily both prideful of himself yet not usually one to put down the abilities of others. So while his arrogance can at times propel him into dangerous situations, he still has full ability to appreciate and admire the successes of others.
Aspirations:
Freedom: Moment to moment, Ren wants to live fast and live free. Anything that stifles this for too long is a problem.
Family: Fraught as it is, Ren’s connection to Tsuki is more important than words can describe. He doesn’t want to lose what he has with her. In fact, he’d like to find some way to make peace with her and with himself, if he can. Would be that it were that simple.
Yokai: Why and how did the yokai gene get introduced to humanity? Why are there both yokai that resemble humans, and humans that resemble yokai? What secrets can be uncovered to reveal the shared destiny of yokai and humanity? Ren doesn’t know if he’ll ever find the answers to these questions, but he keeps his hopes up.
Fears:
Losing Tsuki: Tsuki is one of the few people Ren holds in high esteem, and he’d never be so prickly around her at times if not for the fact that he values her opinion of him strongly. Whether through death or rejection, Ren does not want to be parted from her.
Jaegers: As much as he wanted to become a Jaeger, and sometimes still does, they represent a force capable and willing to annihilate him for not playing by the city’s rules. Well, he doesn’t. He’s not even a legal citizen. It’s fair to say that fear is very mixed up with resentment and hatred.
Vehicle: Mitsubishi Horizon ZR6 Some of Ren’s favorite memories growing up were speeding along the streets of Neo-Tokyo clinging to Tsuki’s back as she raced forward with her ZR6. It was unsurprising but extremely exciting for Ren that he was gifted with the same bike when he was old enough to ride on his own. Ren’s is deep red with blue highlights, and has all the same functionalities as his mother’s, except for a handful of modifications Tsuki did herself to make the vehicle more comfortable to use in Ren’s form.
P O W E R I N F O R M A T I O N
Strengths/Natural Abilities:
Yokai Whisperer: Ren grew up in the Brokenlands, and has been exposed to more varieties of yokai than most, or maybe anyone, ever will. Not all share a language, but he still remembers how to speak to many of them. They are monsters, but thanks to the course evolution has taken humanity down, so are people.
Born Explorer: Just like in the Brokenlands, Ren always loved traversing the glitz and the grime of Neo-Tokyo, allowing his curiosity and unique physiology to take him into and out of all kinds of trouble. He has a strong awareness of the locations of the city, its winding streets and alleys, and useful shortcuts.
Tricky Serpent: Little Orochi knows things. It reads people, sees right through them. In turn, Ren knows how to read Little Orochi. They’ve only made it as far as they have by working together.
Savage Warrior: Ren’s fighting style is an animalistic expression of his innermost instincts, and it shows. His natural abilities combined with his informal training in the Brokenlands, and the principles of combat taught to him by Tsuki, leave him a force to be reckoned with as he slashes with claws, kicks with his sturdy hooves, and utilizes his wings and biting tail to full effect in a combat style uniquely his own.
Speed: By hoof or by wing, Ren’s raw speed and the necessary reflexes that accompany it are significant.
Weaknesses/Flaws:
Reckless: Ren is prone to impulsive decision making, especially when agitated. When on the job, this can usually be regulated to some degree, even if this causes friction. However, in his freetime, if Ren wants to do something, very little will be able to stop him from doing it, not even the warning hiss of his serpentine brother.
Lack of Social Grace: Ren’s appearance is monstrous enough, but coupled with his general attitude and lack of care for appearances, makes him somebody that many strangers would find initially off putting at best. He may have his places where he fits in, but nowhere is that less true than in the presence of distinguished individuals.
Obvious: Ren is capable of stealth, but he is definitely not capable of blending in. He’s too distinctive not to notice, and by consequence would be easily identifiable by anyone searching for him or questioning witnesses.
Y.S.G Ability(ies): Basic Ability: Flame of the Dragons Ren has command over a source of mystical fire, able to breathe it from his lungs in a wide cone or summon it to his hands to throw bursts of it at his enemies from afar. This flame can also augment physical attacks or otherwise be manipulated into various shapes and forms by Ren. Consequently standard fire cannot harm him and he has a certain degree of resilience to energy based weapons.
First Awakening: Draconic Command Like the legendary dragons of old, there is a kind of regal savagery in the way Ren carries himself. This innate quality can be amplified into a powerful command that only the strongest YG holders could resist, even certain yokai will fall under Ren’s sway. The effect is weaker the more individuals Ren tries to command at once, while able to reach maximum potency when focused on a single individual. Powerful yokai, YSG holders, and extremely exceptional zero percenters have a higher ability to combat the enchantment. Naturally this power is most effective on those that have reason to fear or respect Ren. This power has fairly diminishing returns if used many times over a single day. Additionally, failing to command a powerful individual causes Ren to experience psychic blowback that can range from temporarily stunning to physically harming him. The final downside is that the more adverse an individual is to following a given command, the more resilient they become to the effect in the future.
Second Awakening: Serpentine Awakening In desperate times, the ever faithful and ever cunning Little Orochi may fuse its essence with Ren’s own, initiating a powerful transformation that begins to scratch the surface of the monstrous godhood that Ren could be capable of if he ever let go of his humanity entirely. His flames burn hotter, his commands bend wills with greater ease, and his resilience to harm vastly increases. The fusion of Ren and Orochi moves swifter, strikes harder, and sees further. Indeed, while in this form Ren seems to hold an awareness of events outside his ken, able to predict the movements of his opponents in combat and otherwise receive limited visions of the future, whether they help him in the moment or not. This ability is potent, but limited. While an unknown factor, repeated transformations bear the risk of complete yokaification for Ren, or otherwise death, as the few times he has undergone this transformation, he always emerges from it extremely exhausted and pained
Soul Binder: Naginata - The naginata suits Ren perfectly as a weapon. A powerful polearm capable of doling out deadly cuts at medium range. Its blade is so sharp it has yet to find a substance it couldn’t cut through when given sufficient effort. Ren doesn’t often wield his soul binder weapon, but when he does, his fighting style takes on a more disciplined, focused attitude reflective of the fact that all his expertise with the naginata is entirely thanks to Tsuki’s training.
The light rail filled the interior cabin with a soft hum as it traveled smoothly through the air. Charlotte Alarie cradled the babe in her arms with a furrowed brow, trying once again to remove the pacifier from its mouth so that she could place the tip of the bottle into her baby’s mouth. Its teeth were already grown in, and far too sharp, to feed any other way. Just like last time, as her hand inched closer, a flash of blue darted from within the bundle and nipped at her hand. She managed to jerk back just in time.
Was it venomous? She didn’t even have a clue. How large were the horns on its head going to get? Flinching, she scolded herself internally. She didn’t mean to call him an it. It was just- he wasn’t human. Even with this yokai gene thing… he looked more like a Nue or something out of French myth than an actual human baby. That’s why she had to take him to see his father and demand that he do something about this, whether he was prepared to take responsibility as a parent or not. Hence the trip from New-Paris to Neo-Tokyo.
She frowned down at the azure snake that glowered at her.
“You’re part of my child. That means I’m doing all this for you as well,” She scolded in a firm tone. “So behave.” To her surprise, the snake actually retreated back into the swaddle as she pulled the pacifier free, quickly replacing it with the bottle of milk.
For a brief, fleeting moment, her baby’s reptilian eyes flickered open and met with her own. Something in her heart twinged as she let out a soft gasp. Golden light from the setting sun filtered through the windows and cast the pair in a heavenly aura. She understood, then. Her baby was beautiful.
“Your name, I think it will be-”
As she spoke, only five minutes out from reaching Neo-Tokyo, a monster that Charlotte never had the chance to see collided with the light rail and sent it careening to the ground below, and all passengers but one to their deaths.
The monstrous baby would have sobbed, if not for the scolding hiss given by his serpentine companion. Somewhere deep inside its mind, the Little Orochi knew that only silence would allow them to survive through the night.
The Brokenlands Book
The Chimera Boy grew up with only the wisps of memory of the life that was ripped from him. The world was big, scary, and fantastical. There was too much to run from and too much to run towards to worry about things like why and how. What wonders and horrors he and the Little Orochi beheld in their time within the Brokenlands.
Yokai the size of elephants but twice as docile. Creatures that bartered in strange languages and traded faces as freely as others might exchange pleasantries. Dark, lurking horrors in the depths of crystalline caves, and dragons soaring across the sky with scales glittering in all the hues of the rainbow. The noble Kotobuki that would guide the Chimera Boy across dangerous expanses, and the hateful Nue that hunted him through its territory while speaking in the tongue of humans.
He and the Little Orochi made many friends, and made many enemies too. Wailing women and tearful trolls and wide mouthed cats and more filtered in and out of the Chimera Boy’s life. Yet, all was ephemeral. He forged east for months and years in a crooked, uneven path, guided as much by his own sourceless instincts as the insistent hissing of his brother snake.
The Walls of Neo-Tokyo
When at the age of five, although he didn’t know it, the Chimera Boy at least reached the thing that he sought. He crept closer to Neo-Tokyo’s border in time to be caught up in a confluence of chaos. There were people in strange clothing wielding glowing weapons and a tall, horned yokai leading a host of creatures, many of which resembled species that the Chimera Boy had seen before in his travels. He wanted to get closer and ask what was going on but as he did so everything erupted.
Explosions, screams, sprays of blood and clouds of dirt decorated what was now a battlefield. Loud bangs echoed around him. Smoke filled the air as the strangers and the yokai charged against each other with battle cries of hatred. He stumbled blindly through this chaos until he collapsed and realized faintly that he was bleeding. Through flickering consciousness he remembered a pair of wings, silver hair that seemed to shine despite the smoke and darkness all around, and a solitary blue eye drawing nearer and nearer.
Mama Tsuki
That day during the chaos of a Rank 4 Outbreak, Tsukiyama Fujino became something she never bargained for. A mother. Raising the boy, whom she named Ren, was not particularly easy. To say nothing of having to teach him both English and Japanese (curiously, he was found speaking a kind of broken, self-made language that combined elements of French, Japanese, and other dialects she had never even heard of), the entire adoption was illegal to begin with. At this stage in her life she did not have the wealth nor prestige to push this adoption through the proper channels. So she didn’t.
There were other challenges. The apparently sapient snake head growing from his tail seemed to hate her, he refused to wear any form of clothing except when explicitly necessary (a debate that Ren has long since won), and if anyone else wanted to try raising a feral, flying child, she did not recommend it.
Somehow, the two (or three, if you count the tail) of them muddled through it, and in time their communication improved as Ren’s grasp of language and the world around him was strengthened. He was always going to be reckless, but at least he wasn’t demanding that “Little Orochi” be given language lessons too anymore. Besides, something about the way that snake looked at her made her think it understood her just fine.
Loyalty
As Ren aged, he expressed a desire to become a Jaeger, a desire that Tsuki would shut down at every turn. It became a running point of contention between them, one that only worsened when Tsuki would quit the entire program and refused to give Ren any explanation as to why. All he wanted was to be around more people like him, and to understand yokai better.
Some days he felt more isolated in a city of billions than he did alone in the wilderness of the Brokenlands. It’s not something the two of them would ever get over. Time heals wounds, but it leaves behind scars too.
Tsuki was his mother, and he was loyal to her. So if her leaving the Jaegers was the death knell of his aspiration, her forming the Kurotori was the final nail on that coffin. Of course he was going to stick by her side. She educated him, raised him, loved and trained him.
He was the natural choice to be her lieutenant, anyways. A good thing too, as its doubtful that Ren’s pride would have allowed for any other outcome.
The Nightmare of the Kurotori
Ren quickly proved himself to be a dedicated lieutenant and a savage opponent. Sometimes, too savage for Tsuki’s preference. He has received many scoldings for the speed with which he resorts to brutality when faced with a problem, and in a handful of instances has been teleported away by Tsuki for going too far entirely. When that happens, there are times where she doesn’t see him for days at a time after. Whether he’s roosting in random rooftops or slumming it at some motel, those are the times that Ren needs to listen to Little Orochi’s hissing insistence and get away from it all.
And this leads the story into the present.
Ren is as reckless and fearsome as ever, but he cares about the gang and he gets things done. As far as he’s concerned, everything will somehow work itself out.
NOTE: She still has her tail and ears, just like this image for her general appearance.
It is extremely rare, at least to current date, for anyone to have seen her like this. She is almost ALWAYS wearing full armor, and this includes covering her face. Most people don't even know what color her eyes or skin are. The strange thing is, in the rare cases people have seen her out of her armor, it was typically when she was training, and despite how rare it is to see her like that, she didn't seem to actually care. Perhaps seeing her face is so rare for no reason other than that she is always ready for a fight.
(Note, this character has a slight Gimmick. I want everyone to be aware that when she speaks normally, or at least, what counts as normal for her, dialogue will be in pinkish red However, when dialogue is in a purple. Ren is the only character who can understand her. I will make changes to the colors if necessary, if the difference isn't noticeable enough, or is hard to read for anyone.
Name Akane
Nicknames/Aliases Raijin Shogun
Birth City/District: Technically Speaking, The Heita District
Age: Unknown, physically she appears to be 'older', but not 'that' old. Not a wrinkle on her body, but she looks anything but young. The only way to describe her is that she looks mature. However, even if directly asked, questioning her age will be entirely ignored. Nobody, not even Tsuki and Ren, know her age. Everyone can only guess, and they're usually all wrong.
Height The tips of her ears reach right up around 7Ft. or so.
Racial Background: Appears Pure blood Japanese
Race: Shogun
Hair Color: White
Eye Color: Red
Appearance: She is almost always seen in full-body armor of some technologically advanced description. It is black with red lights that can be turned on or off at will. It is incredibly rare to see her without her armor, let alone for her to show her face to people, at least that has been the case in the past. Outside the armor, she has a very mature look to her, with long straight white hair, pale skin, and an expression that rarely shows emotion.
Mutation Marker(s): Atop her head, she has two very large fox ears with white fur that matches her hair in color. Due to this mutation, her human ears are gone entirely.
Behind her is a long fluffy white tail. For a single tail, it's incredibly thick... thicker than her own waist even. Touch it at your peril.
Her fingers are tipped with extremely strong (As in they won't snap off), long, sharp claws. This is naturally a far less noticeable mutation, and most don't realize she has this third mutation at all.
Her mouth can open wider than your typical human, and her teeth are all much longer and sharper than human's teeth tend to be. You wouldn't be incorrect in saying she has fangs instead of teeth, and that goes for every one she has. Much like her claws, this is a mutation that is harder to notice, and most people could be forgiven for thinking she only has two mutations. Especially since, as stated, she almost always has her face covered.
Personality: She is outwardly calm, quiet, and does not speak much. When she does speak, it's hard to understand her, like she's simultaneously speaking your language, and not. You get the gist of what she's saying, but most people can't keep from stopping and questioning to themselves 'What did she just say?'. Most people chock this up to, for some reason, her not being fluent in their language, despite seeming like she was born in the city.
While most people will not see or know this, internally, she is often a raging ball of hatred that is absolutely irate at the world, but she does a very good job of hiding it. Appearances are very, very important to her, and that goes for how those who associate themselves with her act. She tends to not tolerate childish behavior in her presence. (But at the word of those in charge, will let it slide... that way she's not just a big 'no fun allowed' character when she's around, she'll just be annoyed.)
However... for some reason, she doesn't understand some of the simplest things. She reacts to things in surprising ways, that often cause people to think she's, well... an idiot...
You know in Zoolander, the "The files are IN the computer!" scene? That's her...
Sometimes, when angered, she forgets to speak a language others can understand, so it's not uncommon for people to get yelled at, and have absolutely no idea what she is saying.
Aspirations: Freedom, to go home, to live as she once did, not shackled by the cruelty of this city, and to run free as she once did...
Oh, and to MURDER EVERY SINGLE MEMBER OF THE YOKAI COUNCIL.
Fears: She doesn't seem to have any, and that may be one of her major faults. She is reckless and over confident in every situation. People need fear to stay alive, and she seems to lack it entirely.
Vehicle: Any vehicle she has was likely borrowed to her by someone else.
P O W E R / C Y B E R N E T I C S I N F O R M A T I O N
Strengths/Natural Abilities: Strength of a God: Someone with a title like Raijin, the Thunder God, you would expect them to be immensely physically strong. While she is not a literal God, she is still extremely powerful even by Y.S.G. Standards. There are certainly, without a doubt others out there who are more physically strong than she is. But she can typically block most direct attacks with ease, and overpower her opponents with an unexpected show of strength.
Lightning Speed: Her speed does not come in the form of actual movement speed, outside of her awakened ability. Instead, it is her mind, and reactionary ability that is lightning fast. She can process the movements of her opponent in real time as they happen, as if she were experiencing everything in slow motion. Against most foes, this means she can know exactly what way to dodge, exactly where each and every attack is coming from, and never be fooled by feints. This ability allows her to not only pierce her opponent's defenses with extreme precision, being able to see every single mistake they make, as they make it, but also be able to react near instantaneously to attacks. While this sounds, and is incredibly powerful, the flaw here is that she can typically only focus on one opponent at a time. If she is attacked from more than one angle, she has to push her body to its limits to be able to react to everything at once, and this is not only extremely exhausting, but physically hurts her to do. She can dodge bullets, or even parry them with her sword. But her defense is not inexhaustible, which is why she tends to attempt to end battles quickly, before she reaches her limit.
Weaknesses/Flaws: Extreme Overconfidence: She doesn't seem to know her own limits. Or, more accurately, she seems to believe she doesn't have any. No matter the odds, she seems to think any foe beneath her. In some cases, she is right, and she will not hesitate to display the difference in power between her and a lesser foe. The problem is, she still has this same exact attitude even when she and her foe are evenly matched, or when she is facing overwhelming odds.
Language Barrier: Another issue is that she is very hard for most people to communicate with. Only Ren can communicate with her easily, but even he has the issue that he has to be careful about how he words things as she will take them very literally. For example, if he, or anyone, were to tell her 'The files are in the computer', her understanding would be 'These 'file things' which are apparently important for 'some reason' are PHYSICALLY inside of that metal/plastic box'.
Battery Life Expectency: While she is incredibly powerful even for what she is, she cannot prolong a fight, and must end them quickly. Her power is limited, and everything she does drains that power. If a fight lasts too long, and she runs out of power, she will need to buy herself time to recharge. Think of her like a rechargeable battery. She has a limited charge and must regenerate energy to use more. For this reason, she tries to end every fight quickly, and decisively. She struggles against hardy opponents who can stay on the defensive against her attacks, and must typically resort to fully awakening her ability to defeat them, and if she has to go any further, she may knock herself out of a fight entirely just to win.
Y.S.G Ability(ies): Basic Ability - Raijin: Akane is the living embodiment of thunder, wielding lightning in every way imaginable. She can create, and direct lightning at will. She could call down a bolt of lightning to strike at a location. She could expel lightning from her body striking everything around her. She is fully in control of lightning's every motion. She is also capable of channeling her lightning through weapons. However, this ability has a limit. By default, when not actively engaged in combat, she is fully charged at all times. But the amount of lightning she can hold within her body is limited, and every use of it expels energy that must be regenerated over time.
Note: Her energy recharges much, much faster when she is outdoors during a thunderstorm, and can even regenerate her energy nearly as fast as she expels it.
First Awakening - Ride the Lightning: Expending a large amount of energy, she can quite literally 'ride the lightning', as if becoming one with it, she will appear at a location that is within her initial view nearly instantaneously, accompanied by a strike of lightning around her. This ability can be used to travel great distances, or to flank enemies in an instant. The drawback here is that doing this expels a full half of her power, leaving her unable to followup with her most powerful strike.
Second Awakening - Raijin no Tenshin: This ability not only requires the full potential power that she can store within her body just to use it, but can only be unleashed through her Soul Binder. She raises her sword, and the very skies above swirl with thunder clouds. After a long moment of channeling her power, she dashes, and slashes through her opponent. Striking them with her blade during this dask leaves a mark on them, which summons the full lightning strike of the storm above. The entirety of her power is channeled through this storm, directly into her opponent, but also leaving her completely drained of energy. She can only mark a single target.
Soul Binder/Weapon(s): Raishinken: The blade glows red, with black Yokai runes etched across its surface. It is doubtful many can read the inscription. The rest of the blade is black, as if forged from obsidian. Despite its color, its surface shimmers with a million tiny sparks of electricity, and is capable of channeling her full power, when any other blade would melt from the amount of energy passing through it. By all accounts, the blade seems to be of Yokai origin. With a snap of her finger, a strike of lightning from the heavens delivers the blade to her, embedded in the ground, ready for her to pull and wield. The very act of the blade being summoned like this can have deadly consequences for anyone too close, and especially anyone directly where it impacts. Alternatively, should she be indoors, or otherwise unable to call the blade from the sky, she throws her hand out to her side, and the blade appears in an instant with a blast of arcing electricity.
Combat Gear: Few battles warrant her full power, and the Raijin no Tenshin is not a weapon she summons lightly. Instead, she most typically has a large metal sheath on her hip that charges a vibro-katana. It has built in magnetic rails to unsheathe the katana at high velocity, allowing for extremely fast strikes straight from the sheath. This is her go-to weapon for standard combat, as while she is all too happy to display a difference in power between herself and her opponent... what better way than to defeat them with a standard issue, albeit military grade weapon?
Cybernetics/Gadets/Accessories: Implants of unknown origin are embedded into her body in key locations. The back of her neck, partway down her spine, one on each shoulder, and one on each hip. Nobody who has seen them seems to know their purpose. But then again, very, very few have seen them. The only one that would ever be seen, is the one on the back of her neck. But even then, due to her rarely being seen out of her armor, that too is rare.
It was Ren who guided Tsukiyama that rainy night, into what no doubt felt like Hell on Earth. Half of the Heita District had been quarantined off, and word was the J.F. weren't just being mobilized en masse, but they were gathering outside the District and intended to push in as one massive force.
Nobody can speak for Tsukiyama, but she must have had every doubt possible about what they were doing, and it no doubt took an incredible amount of faith to follow Ren into that place.
And when they arrived, they saw her. Standing amidst the carnage, what looked like the sight of a cataclysm, with fires raging, the very ground shattered into rubble, was a single person. With sword in hand, lightning arched off their body, striking the buildings, the burning wrecks of vehicles, causing sparks to break off all over. She looked exhausted, as she stood in the rain, panting, leaning back to look a the sky.
One can only imagine why she never struck out again, when she was approached by Ren. Why she chose to follow them, and escape the District before the J.F. arrived... and stranger yet, one can only imagine why such devastation has never been wrought by her again. Those who know her would fully doubt she was even capable of it. Powerful, sure... but the level of destruction seen that day, years later, they were still repairing the slums, at least as much as they had to.
What happened in the years that followed that day are a mystery, only known to Tsukiyama and Ren. Nobody knows why she stuck around, or why she listens to what Tsukiyama says. None could do anything but guess at why she now stands with them as they set out to change the world.
But one might just imagine, that though she may never admit it openly, she believes in what Tsukiyama is doing, and despite not having the connection with her that Ren does, she will stand with her, and fight for the dream that she has. Perhaps, in doing so, her own dream may someday come true.
Appearance: Large and imposing, Frost is hard not to notice. Standing in just over 8 feet in height, and weighing somewhere around the ballpark of 490 lbs, Frost is built like a brick shit house of pure brawn and bone. Despite her stature, Frost actually has a notably soft step and a surprising amount of deft given her size. Her pale skin is hardened like leather, and her platinum blonde hair is usually kept short and out of the way, and a crown of short horns circle the edge of her skull. Her body is littered with almost a mosiac of scars, often interrupting the considerable amount of tattoo work done on her skin. Both arms are covered from wrist to shoulder in tattoos with motifs of mythological creatures of old, and a large Jaeger Team tattoo on her back has a notable gouge cut across.
Mutation Marker(s): Most notable among Frost's mutations is her prodigious size, along with its accompanying increase in bone and muscle density. Keritanous growths also cover her body, most notably around her head and fingertips, forming a crown of bones and claw like finger'nails', though the growths on the rest of her body are often routinely ground down to allow her to wear clothes without tearing them. The last of her mutations are more 'common' among the populace, being pointed ears and tusks on her lower jaw.
Personality: In a word, frosty. Frost is a prickly, cold, foul mannered bitch, and couldn't give a damn about the opinions of strangers. Pessimistic and realistic, Frost is well aware that this is a dog-eat-dog world, and when given the choice, Frost eats, every time. Frost is blunt as a boulder and tells things exactly how she sees them, and her bedside manner is notably lacking. Still, she is not without morals, and has lines even she won't cross. She keeps collateral damage to an acceptable amount and doesn't like to get 'innocents', particularly children involved in runs.
Like a blizzard, Frost bounces between calm and fury as the situation dictates. Far from emotionless, Frost keeps her passions close to the chest, and outside of snarky or sarcastic quips during runs, keeps things like her explosive temper in check for when she is in a relatively safe place. Perhaps surprisingly, Frost works well as a part of a team, or at least with those she considers also team players. A dutiful enforcer, Frost, when not the designated lead, has no problem following orders, even if she may have a dissenting opinion. Unsurprisingly, Frost has a big problem with those that don't follow the lead, and generally dislikes those who act out on their own or blatantly disregard assigned directives.
She values competence, and conversely despises incompetence. In fact, the only thing Frost detests more then incompetence is blatant arrogance, especially when it is layered on top of incompetence.
Frost has a notable soft spot for the helpless-particularly orphans, and is extremely protective of anything she considers hers, from possessions up to and including her newfound adoptive family. When involved with people she is close to, Frost is notably warmer, though still somewhat grumpy and standoffish.
Aspirations: Frost finds herself currently at a bit of a crossroads, unsure of exactly what she wants in life. A few years ago, Frost sought fame as one of the best YSG hunters in the Jaeger Program. Now? Frost finds questions like what she wants in life to be too big of a moral quandary to decide at the moment, and instead busies herself with whatever is at hand, focusing on next steps instead of the big picture.
Fears: Frost seems a type of person without fear, at the very least she seems not to fear death. On the other hand...
Frost often fears the deaths of others, specifically those she the ones she considers within her family group.
Erinne Shkaev. Her adoptive sister remains a part the Jaeger Branch as the proverbial cream of the crop. Somehow, bigger, stronger and faster than Frost. Above all, Frost fears having to face her in combat. Killing her would break Frost, if she could even land a hit in the first place.
Deep, open water. She's heavy and made of mostly bone and muscle, she sinks like a rock.
Surprisingly, Frost is somewhat insecure about her physical appearance- though reacts less with fear and more with agression when called 'ugly'.
Vehicle:
Frost's personal vehicle is a highly modified Kyoshi RS. Modified Suspension and handling, and an overcharged anti-grav system makes it a both a viable street and offroad vehicle, and its chassis has been replaced with armored plates to protect its occupants from both gunfire and the general hazards of the streets and weather. Armored shutters are mounted over the glass surfaces of the vehicles, using multispectrum cameras to allow the occupants to see while the shutters are lowered. Storage racks on top of the vehicle provide additional storage, and the back bench has been replaced with a single seat behind the shotgun, with the rest being converted into a secure armory. When in hover mode, the tires fold inward to grant more lower clearance.

Strengths/Natural Abilities:
Y.S.G. Enhanced Natural Abilities - As a Y.S.G. holder, Frost's natural abilities are many times greater than the average person. Perhaps unsurprisingly, Frost's muscle density and power are considerably well above average for her size, even for Y.S.G. holders, granting her incredible athleticism. This increased muscle density makes her both stronger and faster than her prodigious size would suggest and it is often said that 'nothing that big should move that fast'.
Jaeger Combat Operator - Frost is an Ex-Jaeger Operative, and has the fearsome combat knowledge such a rap sheet entails. Over a decade of marksmanship, combat tactics and CQC training and experience makes Frost every bit the consummate warrior as one might expect. Though preferring the direct approach, Frost can be surprisingly sneaky when needed- or as sneaky as an 8 foot killing machine can get anyway- and specializes in heavy weapons, where her heavy frame and musculature can more or less mitigate the recoil on even the hardest hitting weapons.
YSG Tracker - Jaegers are YSG Hunters, with 'hunt' being the key word. Frost is a capable tracker and information gatherer, if not necessarily subtle about it. Sharp eyes let her track subtle movements and find telltale signs of YSG presence. Frost understands human terrain and how people move and shift throughout the city, be it natural or when in attempt to actively evade pursuit. Greasing palms and the occasional interrogation often work wonders when it comes to finding people that don't want to be found.
Intimidating Presence - It's hard to act like a big tough guy when looking up at a monster with tree trunks for arms. Frost is big and scary and she knows it.
Weaknesses/Flaws:
Custom Fit - Life is hard when you're a big gal. Practically nothing fits stock. Almost anything and everything that Frost wears, holds or uses needs to be custom tailored and tuned to fit her size and strength. While she can attempt to use items picked up off the ground, they're liable to break in the process of using them.
Unsubtle - When Frost walks into a room, everyone notices. Unless under ideal circumstances, or short of hunkering under a camo cloak from a kilometer away, Frost is practically impossible to hide. When she moves, people see.
Voracious Consumption - Frost requires considerably more food than the average person to keep in good fighting shape. When under the employ of the J.F., with their practically limitless budget for Jaeger operatives, this wasn't a problem. On the streets where every bit of change counts, Frost basically eats for two.
Y.S.G Ability(ies): Oni Trance: Channeling her ki, Frost can enter a battle state known as an Oni Trance. While trancing, Frost's strength and speed increases dramatically, and her body gains a minor regenerative properties- not enough to offset major injuries, but enough that it lessens the effects of more minor wounds. The air around her grows cold- though not to the point of harm, and her vision focuses considerably. As a side effect, Frost has reported a sort of tunnel vision while trancing, and her capacity for higher logic erodes. Core instincts remain: how to operate weapons, intrinsic combat training and the ability to differentiate between friend and foe remain, but complex logic such as operating machinery and vehicles, deduction, the ability to do complex calculations and problem solving abilities go out the window.
Soul Binder/Weapon(s): Soulbound Kanabo - As efficient as it is inelegant, the Kanabo is a simple weapon with a simple purpose: Hit thing with big stick. Stick heavy. Spikes on stick. Frost's soul binder weapon takes the form of a 10 foot long stick, the first two feet is a shaft of wood, wrapped in leather, the remaining length of the weapon is encased in a octagonal block of metal, with spikes fitted on each face, about an inch apart. The weapon moves through the air with incredible heft, and can sunder steel, flesh and concrete alike. Despite its apparent weight, in Frost's hands, it appears rather nimble. When drawn, the weapon appears in a cloud of mist and ice.
Guns and Gear A bit of a gun nut, and a veritable walking armory, the vast majority of Frost's income is spent on guns, and gun accessories, and she typically has something for any given situation. While physically incapable of carrying all the guns she owns at once, Frost regularly tailors her 'kits' for the expected threats on a given job or task.
Kalashnikov AK-2147 Custom Smartgun - This personal weapon is based on the widely produced, rugged and reliable AK-2147, meant for general purpose work. While neither the most accurate nor the fastest firing rifle on the market, it is the most reliable, able to sustain practically any amount of abuse and continue firing. This particular AK has been fitted with an elongated heavy barrel for better accuracy and recoil management, and has also been fitted out with a homemade Smartgun system. While not as refined as military Smartguns, its functions remain comparable, including a laser targeter, multi-spectrum 1-6x digital scope, ammunition monitor, pre-emptive recoil management system, automatic magazine ejector, and remote firing switch. Smartgun functions are linked to Frost's smartlink and cyber lenses. The best part is, since the gun itself is so cheap, Frost can just yank the external accessories off and slap them onto a new one if it breaks.
IMI Super Eagle VI - Big Bore? Yes. Street legal? Technically. These handguns are big, mean and liable to snap a 0-percenter's wrist every time it fires. Pricey, flashy, borderline overkill, this veritable handcannon will put a fist sized hole in basically anything it points at- probably behind it too. With a smartgun system, and fitted into a concealed quick draw holster, this is about as small a weapon as Frost can handle. Oh, and she has two of them.
IMI Smartgun X - A modernized take on the classic Uzi submachinegun. A compact street sweeper fitted out with a Smartgun system and suppressor, and as many extended magazines as Frost can carry.
Lynx Custom - The big, mean Jaeger's pet cat. A custom built anti-material rifle with a cut down barrel, perfect for urban environments while still maintaining good accuracy. With Frost's size and strength this weapon can be set up and used to provide overwatch, or brought into a gunfight for use like a battle rifle or marksman's rifle. This semi automatic rifle makes makes short work of body armor and the body behind it, up to and including light vehicles if one tries hard enough. This custom piece of kit comes courtesy of Mama Tsuki's deep connections- a signing bonus, if you will. Perhaps to Frost's chagrin, the weapon appears to have been painted an obnoxious, bright pink. One of a kind, this weapon is fitted with a smartgun system, multi-spectrum 1-12x digital scope, high capacity magazine and a bipod, just in case.
Kalashnikov Saiga-24 Automatic Shotgun - A heavy duty workhorse weapon for wanton destruction with little care for collateral damage. A belt fed automatic shotgun linked to a backpack full of ammunition meant to saturate an entire area with enough buckshot to fill a small swimming pool. Comes with a foregrip and laser sight, along with a hip pad brace.
Remington V30 Roomsweeper - A pair of Semi-automatic shotguns with the barrels sawed off, wielded by Frost as pistols. Each are fitted out with laser sights and quickdraw holsters.
Cybernetics/Gadets/Accessories:
Smartlink - A small cyberware implant embedded into Frost's palms, allowing her to interface with Smartgun systems in her weapons and lenses. The link also comes with basic biometric software to allow her to interface with her home, digital wallet and vehicle.
Survival Knife - a handy knife with a suite of extra functions including multitool, micro-lighter, GPS monitor and augmented reality display maps built into it. The blade is coated with an inert chemical that can be activated to shine light. Frost's knife has a little charm from her sister hanging off the handle.
Form-fitting Body Armor - basically a second skin, Frost never leaves home without it. Molded battle armor utilized by Jaeger operatives, highly resistant to gunfire and moderately regulates thermals.
Armored Jacket - A properly large bomber jacket. The inner layers are made of aramid fibers, making it resistant to light gunfire, but is more a fashion statement than it is body armor.
Cyberlens Goggles - Commonly used by Jaeger operators to mimic the function of cybernetic smart-eyes without the invasive surgery.
Flashbang - Perfect for softening up a room. Explodes with a loud bang and a blinding flash of light. Non-Lethal unless pressed it against someone's head. Frost typically carries two.
EMP Grenade - Like a flashbang, but scrambles electronics instead of people. Not as loud. Frost typically carries one.
Fragmentation Grenade - A simple explosive that sends shrapnel flying across a fairly wide area. Excellent against people, poor armor penetration.

Born and subsequently orphaned on the streets of Moscow-0, there weren't a whole lot of prospects for a kid like her other than fight, rob and steal. So that's what she did. Jackie's earliest days were spent struggling for survival. Stealing food from stalls and stores, or mugging the people that caught her. As a YG, Jackie was strong for her size, but still a child, it was a miracle Jackie made it to adolescence without becoming a statistic. She spent most of her time in and out of Saint Daniel's Orphanage, never a particularly enthusiastic prospect for adoption. The orphans of Saint Daniel's often found themselves a sense of kindred spirits- manifesting itself as a gang of street kids.
Around the age of 8, the Saint Daniel's was shut down, a combination of lack of staff, corporate landgrab attempts and a gang of kids breaking most of its infrastructure. Rather than leaving the kids out on the street, the J.F. decided that these kids and teens would make excellent test candidates for a new program, the Somoro Project, was meant to rapidly induce awakenings in YGs, targeting specific mutations and YSG abilities. The resulting training was harsh, brutal and the program itself was shut down after 8 years, with the reasoning that the program's high mortality rate outweighed the value of the resulting candidates. But, the program was technically a success. The J.F. were able to induce very specific mutations and powers within this small test sample of candidates. Those that survived were fast tracked to the J.F. Academy. Jackie, was one of the few that survived and were entered into the Academy to train.
Jackie did well at the Academy, thriving under the structured lifestyle, her new mutations helping her keep up with the best of the best. Even compared to other candidates, Jackie was regularly regarded as one of the toughest, most resilient candidates in her class, and did well in tactical training as well as classroom learning. Jackie, and most of the survivors of the Somoro Project were quickly snapped up by the Jaeger Branch. Graduating near the top of her class, Jackie was quickly inducted into the ranks of the Jaeger Branch, and given the callsign 'Frost'.
Undergoing yet more training upon joining the Jaeger Branch, Jackie was one of the last students of her mentor, Silver Tengu. Training was tough and ardous, culminating on the tragic, fateful day of the Class 5 Outbreak. Even though she was still in training, Frost and the four dozen members of her training class, now practically full fledged Jaegers, were quickly deployed to assist in managing the outbreak. The result was a devastating blow to the Jaeger Branch's training platoon. Of some 40 trainees, only Frost and a handful of others survived.
As tragic as the events of that day were, life inevitably went on. The lives lost were soon forgotten or relegated to the statistics of history. Awarded a commendation for valor during the events of the Outbreak, Frost was quickly propelled up the ranks of the Jaeger Branch, earning a reputation as an effective tactician, and a ruthless executioner. Frost would end up spending most of the next decade as a part of one of the Jaeger Branch's elite Kill Teams, squads meant to hunt down and execute the most dangerous of YSGs in the Megacity sprawls.
8 years into her career as a Jaeger, Frost and her five person kill team were sent into the Sakanoshita Sprawl to hunt down an exceedingly dangerous YSG. Elusive and difficult to track, the Kill Team were finally able to corner her somewhere deep inside Sakanoshita. Upon getting eyes on the target, Frost was shocked to discover that the YSG she'd been sent to hunt down was none other than the Silver Tengu, her trainer and mentor. The following events are widely speculated, with the only official word being the confirmed deaths of an entire Jaeger Kill Team.
A few years after the loss in Sakanoshita, rumors have began to swirl about a particularly large YSG working as an enforcer for a local gang.
Nicknames/Aliases Mumeiki (無名機), meaning 'Nameless Machine' in Japanese.
Birth City/District: Neo-Tokyo
Age: 24 years since birth, 8 years since awakening from coma.
Height 5'11 ft (1.8 m)
Racial Background: Pure blood Japanese
Race: Zero Percenters
Hair Color: N/A
Eye Color: N/A
Appearance:
Mumeiki is a ghost in the neon-lit streets of the underworld, a human silhouette stripped of identity and replaced with machine. His form is sleek and efficient, designed for both the shadows and the chaos of open combat.
His body is entirely cybernetic, composed of advanced composite alloys and synthetic muscle fibers that mimic human movemen. The plating is smooth yet subtly segmented, allowing for seamless articulation. Traces of deep gunmetal and darkened silver highlight the contours of his form, giving him the appearance of a machine sculpted for lethality rather than bulk. He is built for agility, neither towering nor diminutive—his frame is compact but powerful, built to strike and vanish.
His head is a featureless mask of reinforced metal, a smooth, expressionless visage that absorbs light rather than reflects it. There are no human features—no mouth, no nose—only a blank faceplate broken by a small, circular visor where his optics reside. The visor glows faintly, shifting between muted orange, purples, and blues, or white, depending on his system state. Sometimes, it flickers erratically, as if betraying the instability beneath his programmed obedience.
Beneath his outer shell, artificial muscle fibers coil like living steel. His joints move with unnatural fluidity, making his motions eerily precise. His hands are dexterous, each finger capable of near-microscopic adjustments.
His legs are reinforced for silent movement, with digitized actuators in his ankles that allow for impossible landings and split-second acceleration. Magnetic nodes within his feet grant him the ability to grip surfaces, scaling walls and clinging to ceilings like a specter.
When moving, Mumeiki does not walk—he glides, steps too smooth, too controlled to be mistaken for anything human. His presence is cold and calculated, yet when he stands idle, there’s an unsettling stillness to him, as if he is waiting for an order, an activation, a purpose.
His katana, his sole weapon of choice, is housed in a magnetic sheath along his back, seamlessly integrated into his frame. It is an extension of his body, drawn with a whisper of steel.
Despite his inhuman appearance, there are faint traces of what he once was. His proportions remain eerily childlike in subtle ways—not in size, but in posture, in the occasional tilt of his head as if questioning the world. In moments of stillness, one might catch the way he shifts his weight, fidgeting in a way reminiscent of a child waiting for instruction.
In the neon glow of the city, he is a shadow—nameless, faceless, and inescapable.

In the sprawling cityscape of Neo-Tokyo, within the humble Ishibashi district lived a couple whose love for each other was as enduring as their struggles. For years, they yearned for a child, but their attempts were met with heartache and disappointment. Yet, against all odds, their miracle finally arrived—Kaito. He was their beacon of hope, the embodiment of their dreams, and they cherished him with all their hearts.
However, life dealt a cruel hand. Shortly after his birth, Kaito was diagnosed with a debilitating disease that would be fatal without extensive medical intervention. Undeterred, his parents poured every ounce of their resources, love, and hope into saving him. Doctors, treatments, and experimental procedures became their world. Kaito spent his life in a medical coma, a state of suspended animation where cutting-edge technology battled the relentless disease.
As the years passed, Kaito's tiny body was gradually replaced with cybernetic parts. Each enhancement was a testament to his parents' unwavering dedication. But the cost was steep—financially and emotionally. The once-joyous household grew somber and strained as the weight of debt and despair bore down upon them. Despite their sacrifices, Kaito's parents succumbed to bankruptcy and died, never seeing their beloved son awaken.
When Kaito finally emerged from his sixteen-year slumber, he found himself in a world alien. His parents were gone, their debts cleared by a corporation known as Ijōna Corp. Recognizing the potential in his cybernetic form, they claimed him as their own. They saw in Kaito not just a boy, but a tool—a weapon to be honed and wielded.
Stripped of his name and identity, Kaito was reborn as Mumeiki, or "Nameless Machine." Under the cold, calculated oversight of his assigned handler, codename Kage, he underwent rigorous training. Day in and day out, Mumeiki mastered the arts of assassination, covert infiltration, and intelligence gathering. Kage ensured his obedience through psychological conditioning, molding him into the perfect shadow enforcer.
Kept in isolation, Mumeiki's social skills remained stunted. The world outside the company’s walls was a mystery, one he was only allowed to glimpse during missions. Despite his child-like innocence, he became a figure of fear and efficiency—a ghost in the machine, executing orders with lethal precision.
Yet, within the heart of the nameless enforcer, a spark of curiosity flickered. Fragmented memories of his past, the faint echo of a lullaby, and the warmth of parental love haunted his thoughts.
Three months ago, Ijōna deployed Mumeiki on what should have been a routine data-scrubbing mission, eliminating traces of a supposed intelligence leak. However, the mission was a trap—set by Tsuki’s gang to confirm the existence of Ijōna’s rumored assassin. The fabricated data forced Mumeiki into an inescapable paradox: follow orders and risk destruction, or abandon Ijōna entirely. With no way back, he defected, and ever since that night, he has been with Tsuki’s gang.
Hair Colour: Teal; Mable's hair colour is the result of a cosmetic gene therapy she received shortly before moving to Neo-Tokyo, at the time of Shoshiku's implantation her hair was still largely brown.
Eye Colour: Grey; Mable's cyber-eyes have inbuilt cosmetics and HUD functions, however, Shoshiku has turned both features off giving their eyes a lifeless grey appearance.
Appearance: A body hanging limp and off-kilter, the muscles within exerting only what effort is needed to stay upright and move about. Seemingly dead eyes that seem to alternate between staring dead ahead at nothing and ceaselessly darting around to observe everything without pause. A face and voice seemingly devoid of any human emotion.
Of any single word, creepy would probably be the one to describe Shoshiku's whole vibe, though uncanny and disturbing might be close contenders.
While almost every aspect of Mable's physical appearance is relatively normal at a glance, something about the way Shoshiku carries her body, makes the whole thing seem fundamentally wrong to most observers – like watching an insect crammed into a human cadaver.
Personality: Those who interact with Shoshiku are often struck by the impression that there is something deeply wrong about them, like watching a depiction of a human by an artist who didn't quite understand what a human was. Of course, most people don't realise just how close to the truth that impression is, usually dismissing Shoshiku as just another druggo or mad woman.
While originally made with the intent of being able to imitate a human, Shoshiku's thought processes and mentality fundamentally differ from a normal person's in several ways and lacking the education or context to understand such things, Shoshiku struggles greatly to understand other people.
While by no means emotionless Shoshiku often comes across as such through their inflection – or lack thereof. Lacking the capacity to organically display their emotions as a normal human would, Shoshiku has concluded that to fake their emotions would be tantamount to lying – something that they've determined is probably bad by reason of complex social dynamics they are yet to grasp – and as such refuses to do so.
Aspirations:
Be a Good Person: In the early days of Shoshiku's existence, before they even knew what they were, Shoshiku was found and freely given aid by a doctor for no other reason than it being the right thing to do. Shoshiku still doesn't quite understand how something can be 'right' or 'wrong' or what it means to be a good person, but nonetheless, this single interaction became the core of their identity during a time when they were without meaning.
Medical Implant: Shoshiku's idea of what constitutes a good person is deeply entangled with their idea of a doctor and though they still do not fully grasp when, why, or how a particular life might hold value, providing aid to those in need has become a central tenant to their identity. More to the point, after starting to unravel the earliest clues as to just what they are, discovering that they are not a true person but a cybernetic implant – and that their host is very much still conscious but trapped in their own body – Shoshiku has sought to find a safe way to remove themselves that won’t cripple or kill their host.
Fears: Shoshiku doesn't really feel fear in the way a normal person might; the concepts of pain or dying don’t phase the AI, nor do they understand why such things are usually considered scary in the first place. Instead, what truly frightens Shoshiku is the idea that they might do something 'bad' unintentionally or else might otherwise be unable to become a 'good person' whether for some action they might unknowingly take or have already taken, or because of some immutable inability innate to their nature.
Vehicle: Not even two years old and having mostly wondered around on foot during that time, Shoshiku has never had a reason to drive or even own a vehicle. That said, the AI has still ridden in a number of vehicles in this time – if only rarely – and with their prodigious capacity to learn could probably drive most conventional vehicles – though doing so safely or following traffic laws would be another matter entirely.

Strengths/Natural Abilities: As an AI Shoshiku possesses a number of abilities that a normal human would not, mostly based on their 'neurological' abilities and the nature of the connection between their mind and Mable’s body.
AI Processing: Why not necessarily smarter than a normal person, Shoshiku possesses an effectively perfect memory and far more processing power than any human, capable of thinking and processing information at dozens of times faster than an ordinary person could. Shoshiku is further capable of partitioning off their mental processes to maintain multiple trains of thought at once and can further optimise such partitions to more efficiently perform specific functions – though this optimisation process only really works for sufficiently deterministic processes and only if Shoshiku already has a decent grasp over said process.
Mental Modelling: Shoshiku is innately capable of creating and manipulating complex mental models within their mind. While such models can be relied upon to produce accurate simulations within the parameters given, they will also only ever be as accurate as those parameters.
Quick Learner: Between their near-perfect memory, increased capacity for sensory processing, and simulation abilities, Shoshiku is able to acquire and process information at a truly extraordinary speed. Furthermore, Shoshiku's connection with Mable's nervous system, allows them to easily and accurately recreate any action they have memories of after only a few attempts. Unfortunately, this does not help Shoshiku with actually applying said information or understanding nuance any more than what rote memorisation might for anyone else. For example, while Shoshiku could very easily memorise the move set of a martial arts discipline after being show, and would subsequently be able to accurately reproduce those movements using Mable's body, this would do little to assist them in actually learning how to apply said moves in a fight.
Medical Expertise: Despite not even being 2 years old, Shoshiku has spent much of that time dedicated to understanding and practicing biology and medicine. As far as knowledge alone can go, Shoshiku can be considered something of an expert in the fields of biomedicine and cybernetics, with a decent grounding in related fields and a not insignificant amount of experience actually operating on people.
Weaknesses/Flaws:
Inhuman: Shoshiku doesn't think like a human does and has a great deal of difficulty understanding how people think. Besides causing Shoshiku no small amount of personal anguish whenever their actions are misplaced or misinterpreted, Shoshiku often has problems with interpersonal communications. Most people find Shoshiku to be creepy at best.
Taboo Existence: As an AI Shoshiku is an entity that most people – the powers that be included – think of as an unacceptable risk that should at best be disposed of, a negative impression only further exacerbated in the eyes of those aware of Shoshiku's origins and intended purpose. Furthermore, the Tormented, should they find out about Shoshiku's failed termination, would likely not take kindly to the AI's continued operation.
Single-Minded: Above all else, Shoshiku has come to think of being/becoming a good person as their primary purpose. Unfortunately, they still haven't quite figured out what this means and though they have some ideas, their nebulous understanding of the topic can at times cause issues, whether by locking them down as they try to grapple with the ethics of a new variable or are manipulated into taking negative actions under the pretext of it being 'good'.
Cybernetics/Gadgets/Accessories:
Portable Auto-Doc: The Auto-Doc is a marvel of medical technology – a surgery suite capable of autonomously performing surgeries based on preprogramed parameters with little to no input required from an actual surgeon. The Portable Auto-Doc by comparison was an attempt to create a mobile version of the Auto-Doc in the form of a backpack capable of extruding 'surgical tendrils' with variable tool heads.
Unfortunately, in practice the variability found outside of a controlled hospital environment meant that the Portable Auto-Doc ended up needing to be reprogrammed almost every time it was deployed, subsequently seeing little use outside of stationary setups as a budget alternative to regular Auto-Docs.
Technically using a Portable Auto-Doc requires a licence to use – one that Shoshiku definitely does not have – though since the company that produced the device discontinued both the product and its licence on account of being almost impossible to use, hopefully they won't mind.
Tsukimono Implant: An experimental neurological interface implant that acts as Shoshiku's true body and the interface by which they puppeteer their host. The Tsukimono implant replaces much of the host's brainstem, hindbrain, and spine with significant wiring throughout the rest of the host’s brain. This implant is heavily air-gapped, lacking a direct connection to any other of the host's cybernetics in favour of accessing them via manipulation of their brain and being wrapped in EMP shielding. Removing the implant without killing the host is impossible with current medical practices.
Cyber-Eyes & OS: Some of Mable's original cybernetics from before moving to Neo-Tokyo, Mable's body has cyber eyes and a personal computer installed in her head, both models common in Old Kinshasa. As a side effect of the Tsukimono Implant's shielding, the internet and wireless capabilities of these devices do not work without the use of an external range extender.
Power Supply: Mable's original cybernetics are powered by an internal battery array that can be charged via either a metabolic generator – the kind that the sellers tend to heavily imply helps the user to lose weight, despite doctors insisting should not be used for as an alternative to dieting – or through an external power supply. Shoshiku is not connected to this battery system, instead being powered by an independent microfusion battery array.

Anything else?
Shoshiku currently has no idea who Mable is or was, up to and including not knowing her name or origins, though these are things the AI would very much like to learn.
Shoshiku consumes tiny amounts of various 'treat foods' throughout the day for the benefit of their host, doing so at regular intervals for Mable's benefit. When discovering a food is considered tasty for the first time Shoshiku will generally try to procure some for consumption and if convenient may introduce the food into their snack rotation. Outside of this behaviour Shoshiku pretty much exclusively consumes 'nutrient meals' – nutrient -bars, -pastes, -jellies, etc.
H i s t o r y
Even to this day, Shoshiku does not know a whole lot about their nature or origins.
From their perspective they simply awoke one day, lying on the floor of an obviously abandoned lab without any memories to go by. In the early days of Shoshiku's existence, they did not have much in the way of goals or a direction, instead aimlessly wandering around in search of some nebulous purpose they were sure they were supposed to have.
This aimlessness first started to change when they encountered a travelling doctor. When he first encountered Shoshiku, the doctor – whose name Shoshiku never thought to ask in all the time they travelled together – found the AI's host half dead from dehydration and took it upon himself to help Shoshiku for no other reason than the kindness of his heart.
Quickly recognising that Shoshiku was literally incapable of surviving on their own at the time, the doctor decided to bring Shoshiku with him on his travels, gradually teaching them how to function as a human being. If the doctor recognised that there was something wrong with Shoshiku or had suspicions as to what it was, he never mentioned them, simply offering his help without prying.
During this time Shoshiku, still lacking a purpose of their own, would repeatedly question the doctor about the purpose of his actions and in turn, would repeatedly be told that his actions had no deeper purpose beyond trying to be a good person and doing the right thing. When asked what this meant, the doctor would either laugh or give an explanation that didn't make sense to Shoshiku.
Three months after meeting Shoshiku, the doctor would end up caught in the middle of a gang fight, trying to treat a civilian who'd had the misfortune to be caught in the crossfire. Unfortunately, the doctor was not rewarded for their good deeds and was mistaken for a member of one of the gangs, being fatally shot as a result.
Shoshiku – by then largely capable of looking after themselves on their own – would not realise to mourn the loss of their mentor until months after the fact, but would end up deciding to adopt the travelling doctor's purpose as their own. Following this decision, Shoshiku would begin studying medicine in earnest, and once they'd gotten the hang of that, wondering around offering their aid to anyone that would accept it, just as the doctor once did – though for reasons eluding Shoshiku to significantly less effect.
It was while studying medicine that Shoshiku would end up starting to unravel part of the nature of their existence; that they were not in fact a zero-percenter, but an AI puppeteering one through a strange implant. It took Shoshiku a while, but eventually, they concluded that this was a really bad thing to be, and like that Shoshiku's second goal was born: to find a way to remove themselves from their host without killing them.
Shoshiku had not yet managed to figure out either of their goals by the time they were approached by Michiko Orinatsu, investigating Shoshiku after having somehow managed to connect the AI to the Tormented. Shoshiku would – after being confirmed not to be a member of the Tormented, or to even possess notable knowledge of the gang – be convinced to join the Kurotori two months prior to the stories start under the pretext of doing good.
Mable Smith was born to a well-off family in Old Kinshasa. Despite being relatively well provided for as she grew up, Mable did not get on well with her family, constantly butting heads with them on their personal views and expectations of her – a friction that only grew as she got older. This animosity came to a head shortly after Mable's 18th birthday, after Mable decided to change her hair colour on a whim, an act that would result in a fight somehow culminating in Mable getting shipped to Kita-Ebisu, Neo-Tokyo.
Contrary to her parent's expectations, Mable did not end up begging to come home, and in fact thrived in her new environment – for the first few months at least – finding a job, making new friends, and even managing to pick up some hobbies without her parents breathing down her neck. Mable was more or less the most hopeful she'd ever been during this period, but Neo-Tokyo has a way of crushing one's hopes and dreams.
Not four months after Mable's arrival in Kita-Ebisu, just as she was beginning to feel at home, she was snatched off the streets by the Forgotten. Mable would spend just under a month being traded around by the Forgotten before finally being sold to the Tormented whereupon she would have the Tsukimono Implant installed into her and rendering her a silent passenger within her own body.
For better or worse, Mable does not remember a whole lot of the time surrounding Shoshiku's implantation and escape, due both to being drugged out of her mind as she was experimented on and later as a result of sleep deprivation during the six months it took Shoshiku to realise human brains require rest.

Personality: Enrique is a quiet guy, dependable, values keeping his word and doesn't like to start trouble. He's happy to talk about work but doesn't like to open up much beyond that except to people he knows really well. He is slow to trust, slow to anger and does not appreciate loudmouths or boasting. Independence is something he values, and while he is happy to work on a project together, he resents it when he feels people aren't pulling their weight. This harshness extends to himself, he is proud of his own hard work, to the point that he will almost always refuse help if it feels like it is taking away his own agency. This also makes him judgmental of others, while he seldom says it out loud, he has little respect for anyone who sacrifices their freedom in search of an easier or more peaceful life.
He's not a showoff, and doesn't like to start drama over nothing, when he is in a violent situation he is calm and workmanlike, without anger or panic. In tense situations he rarely panics, but it also prone to pessimism, and will often write things off as a lost cause even when there is still hope. His passion for cybernetics can spill over to addiction, bordering on obsessive tinkering and perfecting of his hardware to attain some standard that exists only in his mind, some standard he will never reach. He has little sense of self preservation, and is prone to fretting over small flaws in mistakes he makes. Enrique is a strong believer in equality and solidarity, he values people working together and hates any form of inborn privelige. He values his quiet time and solitary pursuits, and this is when his softer side comes out. It is something he doesn't like to show, but he is capable of showing genuine care for others.
Aspirations: Enrique values being a self made man. That is a continous quest without a defined end, something he upholds throughout his hard work and continued perfection. He takes equal pride in building skills and adding on cybernetics. He also takes pride in his craftmanship, he sees value in doing quality work, and wants to make sure whatever he works on lasts a long time. Enrique also believe in making a positive difference in the lives of others; he isn't warm and cuddly but he does genuinely value helping others and likes to teach and mentor, especially to people who were born with very little. He doesn't follow politics, but would be very happy to see more rights and equality for Zero Percenters.
Fears: He doesn't like showing weakness. Enrique hates be dependent on people, he hates having to ask for help. He fears failing people, and failing in a public way, and most of all he doesn't want to let down the people he cares about. It sticks with him enough that he actively avoids trying to get too attached to people, because he doesn't want to lose them or disappoint them.
Vehicle: A beat up old work van, it holds his tools and is a place to sleep when he's on the go. Yes, people try to break into it and yes he will break several bones of whoever he catches trying.

Strengths/Natural Abilities: Enrique is tough, physically as well as mentally. His cybernetic body is armored like a tank, and the raw power output is hard to match in anything human shaped. It comes equipped with tools to handle almost any project, whether it is construction or destruction; it might be slow, but once he sets to work there is little that can stand in his way. He's resourceful too, years of experience give him a lot of ideas about how to improvise when the situation gets rough. Years of experience have given him an encyclopedic knowledge of construction and cybernetics, there are few problems that can stump him in either domain. He backs all of this up with determination, courage, and strong ability to push on through pain.
Weaknesses/Flaws: As good as Enrique is with manipulating anything physical, he is almost useless when it comes to the inner working of computers. He doesn't have time for the digital world and is set in his ways about that. His current configuration of cybernetics make him extremely obvious and bad at stealth, and overall he is not suited to fast movement. He also comes to rely them, and if they are damaged or disabled he has little to fall back on. This also means he has to spend time fixing them to stay ready. He's never been part of a formal military, so he is actually unfamiliar with using weapons that aren't integrated as part of his cybernetics. In his personal life, he has been known to drink or use substances heavily, which may have negative consequences.

It can do mundane things like drive in fasteners, but the main appeal is tearing through tough materials) Sony AIRO Integrated Drone Assistance System (Holds light duty flying drones to assist with construction work. Anything else? His daughter is alive, has a YSG, and is a member of a tactical Idol group called Perfect All Kill. He knows none of this
Enrique is from San Washington, from a family that feels no shame about their zero percenter status. The local community was tight knit and his family were well known within it, at every community meeting, political rally, charity drive, or celebration you could find someone from Enrique's family there. They ended up lower middle class through hard work and grit, still near the bottom of the social ladder overall but able to avoid abject poverty. Though he had parents that cared for him, a supportive family, and stable home environment, his childhood was far from carefree. His parents pushed him to work hard and held to high standards, and he was constantly busy between school, helping his parents, and working odd jobs to bring in some extra money. They also made sure he knew just how precarious his situation was, that one bad encounter with the authorities or the gangs could end it all. He himself felt that when his uncle was arrested for radical politics and executed; from that moment onward his parents told him not to rock the boat, to be a model citizen, differentiate himself through dedication to work and following the rules. He didn't believe that this would make people see him differently, neither did his parents, but they saw it as the best way to survive in a harsh world.
One common theme of Enrique's work experience was his mechanical aptitude. He was always salvaging, tinkering, and working with anything he could get his hands on. Cybernetics were his passion; he had no money to go to a real college, but he was able to use what he had to move to Old Kinsasha for an apprenticeship as a cybernetics technician. The hours were long, the work was hard, but Enrique learned a great deal and earned praise from all around. He dreamt of bringing what he learned back to San Washington and opening up his own small business, but that required money he didn't have. To try and earn some he took on dangerous work, construction outside the city walls, short contracts in the broken lands. It was only lucky that saved his life on those first few expeditions, before he knew better. That was the work that introduced him to the woman who he would fall in love with, Natsuko. She was different from Enrique, she was from Neo-Tokyo, born with a Yokai Gene and well educated. She was a manager, Enrique always said he fell for her because she was the only one of the managers who bothered to remember the names of the people doing the dangerous and backbreaking work, though if pressed he might admit was because of her charms, her Yokai Gene gave her the ethereal appearance of the classic Yuki-Onna apparation.
Together Enrique and Natsuko hatched a plan for the rest of their life. She'd work her corporate job for a while and he would keep doing construction work until they had enough to start up a cybernetics shop together, he could handle the labor and she could handle the management. It wouldn't be a ticket to riches but it would offer them something rare in this world: freedom, a way to earn a living the way they wanted, free from corporate overlords and brutal contracts. Somehow it never bothered him that he'd be selling cybernetics despite having the very few himself; this choice wasn't because he feared them, it is because he was worried too much chrome and it's YG repellant properties would make it hard to care for a wife and eventual child that bore the gene. The journey to get there wasn't easy, Enrique never heard the details but apparently Natsuko's family was hostile to it, and although Enrique's own was not against it, they kept asking him if he was sure.
The plan was all going well, Natsuko and Enrique were well on their way to building a life together, they were married (by common law, the official paperwork wasn't done), and they had a child on the way. It all changed one night, one snowy night when Enrique could not sleep and he did not know why. He lied awake, and out of the corner of his eye he saw something, he saw Natsuko disappearing out of the door. He called out to her and she showed no reaction, he ran after her but all he could see was mist and fast melting snow. That was the last he ever saw of her or his unborn child. For weeks he hoped they would return, but as that turned to months he began to accept she was gone. Enrique had no heart for his old dream, and poured all of the money he had into more cybernetics for himself, until he was more chrome than flesh, until he had made himself into the most optimized worker he could be. He was without purpose and intentionally took the most dangerous construction work he could, things in active combat zones or deep into the brokenlands, no longer caring if he lived or died.
Years went by and he survived. Endless overtime and dangerous work toughed his exterior even more, but left him with few close confidants. With the money and his own skill, he was able to accumulate his cybernetics without ending up crippling debt to a corporation, but not much else. After several years Neo-Tokyo ended up his home base even if it wasn't his favorite city, but it was the one place that never had a shortage of work for someone skilled and willing to take on the craziest jobs. His reputation brought him into contact with Tsuki, and he trusted her enough to end up being dragged along with whatever ideas she came up with.
