Ven Ferr/Downtown Grey Vale
Uion, when Raziel plunged her sword into his back. It was the last blow that was needed. Uion let out a pained yell and was unable to stop Grydon's axe from connecting and slashing Uion's body. Ven was about to attack with his own twin swords, but Uion fell to his knees and steadied himself with his axe. Ven stopped and waited to see if Uion would get back up.
As Uion's aura was fading fast, and he knew he was done. Did he usher out some final words to his enemies. Sounding tired yet proud, Uion spoke to the rangers. "This... means nothing, just because you bested me does not mean the invasion will fail. This is just the beginning, and I am just sorry that I have failed.... Glory to the empire, glory to the...." That was the last words he would say before his aura completely disappeared and without its strength to keep him going. Uion collapsed to the ground, and Ven, waited some moments to see if Uion would rise again. He did not, and his body was deathly still. Ven breathed an easy sigh of relief at this.
They had won, the first battle of the invasion, and they had won. Though both he and Grydon had been injured, but no one died and Ven was just glad that despite how strong Uion was. He could still be beaten, perhaps a sign of what is to come and their struggle against the Velcon Empire. A fight that Ven was eager to do, though he had questions about this first battle. He will find them after he recovers. "We did it, and I knew we could do it," Ven said congratulatory to his fellow rangers.
But, now as Ven gripped his chest as it still hurt, there was one question that he had that could be answered right now. So, without saying anything, he, with a purpose, walks over to Sarah. The unlikely ally who appeared during the fight and while she only fought against the troopers and did little. She still played her part in the fight.
Ven, no longer gripping his chest, asked her a single question. "Who are you?"
