Ah, ok. That actually explains a lot, especially with the visual reference. I'll edit the post when I can to incorporate that. I would right now, but it's 3am and I just got back from (my other) work xD.
And I totally understand that you didn't mean to sound rude or condescending. Neither did I, if my post came off as such, or defensive, etc. Those links helped a lot to help create an image in my mind that I could use as a reference point.

I do have in mind a way that I could explain why Joy recognises Christian as being blind, but I'm worried that it would be too convenient and meta, so I'll run it by here, first:

One of Joy's only real friends at the orphanage was a blind girl who was similarly considered 'unadoptable' due in part to both her age and her condition.

I'm not too sure about adding that in there, though, since it wasn't explicitly mentioned in her character bio. Other than that, I could have her assume Christian is drunk or suffering from exhaustion due to his running so much, giving you the freedom to disclose his blindness in a way that doesn't take control away from you, if you like?

EDIT: Bugger it, I haven't had a chance to do anything relaxing all day, so I edited the post anyway. Went with the "Is he drunk or sick?" line, leaving you with the freedom to RP your character at your own discretion and give you the pleasure of dropping that knowledge bombshell for yourself ;P

It'll take some time to look through all this but I admire it's creativity.

Great! Keep me updated on around how many posts you and Dingo will need as well as everyone else.

Izkripp, if want we could do a collaborative post on piratepad between our characters on them almost meeting each other or meeting each other without finding out how they are connected. It could be some humor based fun until we're ready to move on. Everyone else who's finished with their introductions are more than welcome to join if you guys are interested in a “filler episode" type of post until we all are done with introductions.

It's something I'd be interested in being a part of, but I don't exactly know how easily I'd fit in, or if I'm allowed to (or if I should, for my mental health).

I think we are still accepting. You can make a character sheet, we have a lot of different personalities and styles going so i am sure you will fit in.

I'm talking about more along the lines that the plot seems to have moved on from where characters with powers can comfortably enter. It doesn't seem like anything I could come up with would have a way to enter the plot (unless of course, I make non-powered character, which could be a fun challenge).

I'm going to wait for a GM ruling on this before I spend a whole ton of time working on a CS.

Go right ahead. We are still in the introductory phase in which most of the characters haven't met each other yet so an extra character won't be a problem. Make sure to check out the accepted character sheets so you have a general gist of what I'm looking for.

I guess I'll do that then, and we'll see how it goes.
