He worked willingly with Chancellor Palpatine, as did many other Jedi and otherwise good people =P

As for playing the Empire of the Hand, it makes no difference to me, it's your choice, but ultimately it is up to Sigma to say yes or no to the request.

Ok first, if you wish to play as the Chiss/Empire of the Hand or whatever, sure thing.

As for the Reborn Emperor, a possibility, but at the moment, not now. Could make as an interesting event much later on.

Flag:
Nation Name: Confederation of Independent Systems (CIS)
Government Type: Confederacy- which has a council of representatives one from each populated planet, planetoid or independent station.
Capital: Celanon
Capital Sector: D'Astan
Holdings: Nembus, Kalamith, Thesme, Quelii
Leader: Chairman-Sprax Oten
Persons of Importance:
Name: Sprax Oten
Species: Nalroni (also represents Celanon)
Age: 65
Gender: Male
Appearance: He is very short for his race at 1.4 meters. His hair which was once golden is now more grey with white and pale gold flecks. His teeth are tea stained and some are missing replaced with pure white plastic fakes. He is also very frail, skinny and if you could see his skin you would see hundreds of wrinkles. What is a big problem is he can barely see through his milky grey eyes.
Occupation: Chairman
Brief History: Born into a family with a tradition for going into public service he was sent to the finest schools and attended the most prestigious parties. It was during this time growing up in his teens that he saw the corruption running rampant not only his government but the republic. As soon as he could stand for any office he made his move. Slowly working his way to the top helping the lower classes when he could he became a symbol of the people.

After many years he was sent as an aid the republic representative for there planet a great honour. However his out spoken opinions on the corruption in the senate got him in trouble and he was demoted and sent home. This however made him popular with the now emerging CIS. When they came to power and when his world fell into their domain he was pushed up very high in the government. After the fall of CIS he has one of the people behind funding the remnants. However by the time the Empire has fallen he was the highest ranking official left that was behind the scheme and thus by popular vote and the remaining military he was dubbed chairman.
Name: Vidu Logran
Species: Human
Age: 43
Gender: Male
Appearance: Vidu is a very fat and bald but what hair he has is in a large bushy black beard. His height is about 1.9 meters and he is very broad across the shoulders. His eyes are bright green. He has tanned skin which verges on being completely dark in colour.
Occupation: Vice Chairman (also represents Serenno)
Brief History: Vidu was born into a very rich family that owned large portion of Serenno manufacturing industry. He was treated to the finest things life could offer from schooling to desserts. His appetite was legendary to say the least. However he was always on to remember his farther's lessons which was to always treat your workers with enough respect to produce maximum results.

His farther past away just as the CIS movement had finished Vidu and his family had been big supporters. His family agreed that the CIS was right about the taxs being to high in the Outer Rim. He continued his support by funding the remnants of the organisation. When the CIS made it's come back he was quick to reveal what he had done and used it to launch his political campaign. He essentially sling shot himself to the top and a bed of war and revolution.
Military: The CIS has changed its military a fair bit in since the clone wars. They now have more people rather than droids due to there superior minds. Nowadays you they have soldiers leading small numbers of droids to improve there tactics and survival chances. The droids in the military have also been given an overhaul, some have been redesigned completely and others just upgraded. However the main difference is the software which has been changed from set programming to adaptive programming. So as they fight they basically get smarter. They also don't get memory wiped. However this has been controversial as droids now think more like sentient creatures and developing more unpleasant human characteristics and personalities however so far nothing bad had occurred. There is even debate on if they should have rights.

History: When the Galactic Empire fell the the two planets of Celanon and Serenno ordered the nearby CIS remnants that they had been funding to make there move. As a result there where rebellions all over the D'Astan, Nembus and Thesme sectors. The separatist holdouts that where being slowly wiped out where now pushing the imperial forces back out of rebelling sectors. After a year of intense fighting all three sectors where under the control of the separatists. The war had taken its toll and there had been many casualties but imperial influence had been completely removed. However the battle had been made easier due to the fact the imperials weren't coordinating there defence as every fleet was out for itself. This period of time was later referred to as the war of resurgence.

Later that year they where approached by the Drackmarian a race that had been in charge of the Quelii sector before being driven out by the Galactic Empire. With the help of the CIS they drove out the Galactic Empire. After the successful campaign the sector was liberated and the Drackmarian's now back in power the Quelii sector joined the CIS fully instead of being just allied.

Around the same time the Drackmarian's had asked for help they had representatives from the Kalamith resistance cells come and ask for help. It turns out that the rebellions caused by the reemergence of the CIS had forced retreating forces into there sector stopping there rebellion in its tracks. As such they had suffered many casualties and needed allies to help. There were only three neighbouring powers to ask for help one was another faction of the in the Gordian Reach. Not wanting to install a new imperial government there was only the other two left the Esstran sector was under sith control and they were to unsure about them. So that left only the CIS how was more than willing to help and with Liberating them it was also there obligation after all they had caused this situation. The war in Kalamith was the bloodiest war as they not only had to fight the imperial forces that had been stationed in Kalamith but also the imperials that had been pushed out of what now CIS space but also Sith space. With no escape the This imperial remnant fought hard. The fighting ended after three years of on the planet of Hynah the base of all there production. This period would later be called the war of liberation.

After this time the CIS has been rebuilding its infrastructure and handing over power from the provisional government to the new separatist council. They went through a large scale remodelling of their systems for maximum efficiency. They also tried to make everything fair by installing new laws to provide all races with equal opportunities. The government even nationalised the banks and started funding businesses to get the economy back up and to get some innervation going. As they felt there progress was lagging behind. They have also been trying to stabilise the northern part of the Outer Rim. Since there is no central galactic government piracy is on the rise and it's harder to catch them as they just cross the border. They have been using a significant amount of their military to combat them even setting up convoys for merchant fleets.

Yeah, we're still open. Although you're sheet needs a little cleaning up, grammar-wise and fix the links a bit, or just make them into images. But otherwise, pretty good faction!

And they're close to the Dominion, who'll most likely will be at odds, even at war(which actually could make for a perfect opening post in the IC). Should be good fun! :D

Edit: Also, sorry to say the IC will be delayed for a short bit.

These alt-storyline RPs always stir up debates and questions. "What if this? What would happen to that? Would this happen?"
It's brilliant. I feel like i'm learning so much.

Well, consider this. In the Original Timeline, he had over twenty years to amass the resources for his resurgence after his death. However, those plans and him had come to a very early and erupt halt, barely any time to prepare, yes he has the cloned bodies ready, but the military hardware? Not likely. His possible resurgence would be far less of a galactic threat. Thus the event would be a slow process(if we did it).

Reading the seperatist faction.
@CIS
The software upgrade will grealty increase Droid efficientcy.

But The controversie is not thinking like sentients. Droids in the clone wars have already shown the capability to think , process and even know what their own fault of the programming is.

Yet everytime you see how smarter the droids are the more they get the feeling their better. Eventualy they feel so superior they see the non-droids as inferior. Example the assasin droid that took over death star II and planned a galactic revolution.

I am saying this because you don't have B1 battle droids but B2's en B3.

First of all B2's en B3 are hulks who lack an piece of agility. What you could basicaly teach them is stand or sit behind cover. Doing an upwards motion to shoot over thee edge.I don't even know if they have the ability to crouch . And mayby better analysis.

But still the droids would need serious hardware upgrades to hold all this data.
And (not saying you should use these costs). (note these are from the Yodapedia. Basicaly the wookipedia translated in my tongue)

They estimate that the prize of making a B1 battle droid is 800 credits , pilot 900 credits , commander 1000 credits.

Looking at the B2 who already stands at 3300 credits. Your army consist of normale soldiers leading B2 battledroids. There is a reason why the CIS used in a standard formation a line of b2's as meatshield followed by B1's.

The Cis themselves had at their side almost all Major commercial organizations at their site. Who already had accumilated droid armies of their own. An Loose alliance of a sector or 2 could never support a full battle droid army. If you take the most expensive.

Which means your going to replace all tanks , transports and piloting to humans. Droids costed money but could be salavaged , parts replaced. They could also slowly recharg themselves , needing 'rest' for their internal cells.

Bringing living soldiers brings the cost of having supplies , comfort , a place to heal the wounded.

The main idea of the CIS has always been. Overrun the enemies with masses of droids.
The CIS even engaged in slavery and such for money. They even didin't pay intrests on their bank loans.

Can I use the "Reborn" Dark Jedi fraction? (If i can I may to add Non-canon things)

Technicaly that should be impossible.

Luke could be considered a true Jedi after dagobah.

Yet the story is 20 years later. from the start of the galactic empire. So Luke is 20 years old

Yet Luke became a Jedi Master at the age of 30

It than took him several years to take a apprentice. Than even more time to start the acadamy.

You could play that lord who worked with Dessan. But ,... Desan hasn't even been trained yet as a force user.
I even doubt that the Vally of the jedi has been unlocked.

I have to say Phoden on those points. I will need to add the B1 battle droids into the list. Also I didn't mean I was replacing transport pilots with humans and also all the tanks I have are droid tanks. What I was meaning is having more human commanders and soldiers in small amounts intermixed so there is added flexibility and thought into attacks. You know so the droids don't just do Russian assaults which is highly ineffective. I wasn't talking about having masses of soldiers more small highly trained units. It will still be overrun the enemy but hopefully without all the losses. Also b2 droids can crouch and curl up for transport also I did say they had upgrades so maybe more flexible joints.

Non-canon shouldn't be an issue if you can cover your quaters. For example, I have a completely new race which begs the question "Well, how come we never see or hear of these in the Star Wars franchise ever?"
So I made their home planet get destroyed by a natural disaster and had them leave for new territory. It is very likely they would avoid contested ground at all costs, as they could be attacked by either side. If the Clone Wars was going on at this time, few inhabitable areas would be neutral. Even after they ended, there would still be a lot of hostility and potential revolts. So, after the collapse of the Empire, they found a somewhat empty, peaceful sector to settle down in. Some people might say "Well, why didn't we here about the Jedi/Sith Ke'ter who wouldn't need to look for a new home?", but I covered that problem by saying there were no Jedi/Sith Ke'ter.
Therefore, as long as you can justify any non-canon, there really shouldn't be a problem. Take anything that's non-canon and say to yourself "What changes would this have on the canon universe?". If the answer is "Not many" then you should be fine.

Upgrades cost money.

I am still working how I will make my economy work. I know prices for the empire of the hand.

I think every time a trade route passes a sector.

So 1 trade route could go through 3 secotors and earn u money 3 times.

Mayby some money from nationalized companies or importat plantary income.

But the most important of all will be the Bank. I would say create your own nationalied bank. Gathering Kapital from your entire realm.

Than make national loans with low intrest. Rather than have to wait for example a few months to gather the money to buy a few regiments of b1's

You loan it build them directly and repay. And bank profits from your loans or loans from other players can than in turn be used in come.

What Im trying to say inkwell you will need the bank. But I advice players letting the banks make money to store.

The more they store the bigger your loans are and bigger loans from other players are.
For example I loaned so much from my own banks and I need money. I could loan from another player for higher intrests. It will create war exhaustion. Meaning that consatnt war mogering cannot be maintained
. Or atleast building your own stuff
