The Hexarchy of Renorchu'tgera
"Through Adversity to the Stars once more."
Government Type: The Hexarchy are ruled by the Council of Six, which is comprised of the leaders of the six most powerful Houses within Hexarchy space. Each house within Hexarchy space is led by a Matron Mother, or Ilharess in the Ilythiiric language, with one exception: House Koslenko, the Fourth House of the Drow, which defies tradition and has been ruled by men since its founding.

RENORCHU'TGERA, THE BLACK PLANET
"Welcome to hell." - Lord High Admiral Konstantin Koslenko, Fourth of the Six.
Renorchu'tgera is the fourth planet in the system that now bears its name, and the planet has become synonymous with the very heart of the Hexarchy, a slow-beating choked morass of factories, shipyards and mines belching smoke into the planet's fogged atmosphere, with shuttles dodging cargo ferries to and from the black surface of the planet. Once a thriving biosphere, Renorchu'tgera has been corrupted into a mockery of its former self, with the drive to industrialise during the early years of Hexarchy space exploration overtaking any concerns for the environment or creature comforts that other ecumenopoleis such as Coruscant strove for. The Drow solved the problem in a simple way - their main cities and towns stretch for miles and miles underneath the surface of the planet, in vast artificial cavern systems that are protected from the surface by at least 2-3 km of rock and soil, and further protected from hostile bombardment by a planetary shield. Ships take off from the surface almost every second, be they cargo vessels, warships under refit or passenger ferries to other planets in the system. Above all of the pollution and all of the factories rises a single gleaming spire of glass and durasteel - the inhabitants know it only as 'The Tower'. The Tower is home to some of the most important offices of state and their employees, but contrary to popular belief, it is 'not' the meeting place of the Council of Six. That takes place within a separate tower, the Kamriir Tower, within the capital city of the planet, Andrastinon. The Kamriir Tower is similar in construction methods to the Surface Tower (some say it is the same building), but the Kamriir Tower is topped by a large statue of a half-spider, half-woman with her arm outstretched as to address a crowd. The base of this statue, made of black marble and sheathed in obsidian, contains the room where the Council actually meets - the Kamriir Tower has its own shielding systems to boot. Renorchu'tgera is the one true 'Core Planet' in the Hexarchy, and the surrounding system is the sole system where the Hexarchy exercises absolute control over all that come in and go out.
Renorchu'tgera has two moons; Porolis, which is the closer moon, and Gornil, which is the further. Porolis is a haven of activity for the mercenary community, whilst Gornil is the centre for the Hexarchy's naval forces, led by Lord High Admiral Konstantin Koslenko, Fourth of the Six. Gornil, as the fleet's central command HQ, is heavily defended and shielded from enemy fire, with weapons batteries that put Star Destroyers to shame. It is safe to say that Gornil, although not completely indestructible, would be nigh-impossible for any force to capture without incurring severe, if not critical losses. Gornil also serves as a defender to the Black Planet itself, which, although shielded, has comparatively few defence batteries and relies more on its shield to escape bombardments from hostile ships.

The Sector of Steyn: Ruled by Nathyrra Kilath, Steyn is a sector of Hexarchy space that has been frequented by 'outsiders' since the days of the Great Peace under the Old Republic. Steyn is a melting pot of cultures that mingle together to form one mass that can only be described as 'Steynian'. Home to mercenary bands, criminal gangs and those seeking cover from the law, Steyn's largest responsibility is as a border region where the vast majority of the Hexarchy's trading and deals are carried out.
The Sector of Timera: To the galactic east of Renorchu'tgera lies the sector of Timera. This sector is ruled by the young Sabuit Aleanryn, a relative newcomer on the Hexarchy stage. Timera, however, has prospered under Sabuit's rule, with systems such as Hawthorn, Harcourt and Sarnil contributing much to the Hexarchy's economy. Timera's main contribution to the economy, however, is to the military, especially in the production of stygium crystals, most desired by the Hexarchy's military to remain cloaked even in the thick of battle.
