Months had passed since the Clone Wars had finally been put to an end, the confederacy is broken, the New Galactic Empire reigns in a new age of peace, at least what they want to believe. The Empire now wages a final campaign of destruction for the scattered remnants and holdouts of the separatists, sending it's armies in one last strike. The Campaigns have been bloody, many lives lost, both clone and human alike. Sons, brothers, and Fathers taken away from their families in the Emperor's mad quest for total galactic domination. However, he was too blind to see his actions would indeed have terrible consequences, for one particular man would stop at nothing, to put an end to the unnecessary bloodshed.

It all began one that one faithful day on Coruscant. As a new batch of cadets brace for their next step in their military career, as Imperial Officers, it was to be a time of celebration. But that would not last. As The sun set on Coruscant, as Nightfall came, it started. The Imperial Plaza was lit ablazed as the bombs were set off, catching the garrisons off guard as thousands of armed revolutionaries flooded the streets, slaughtering and overwhelming the defending Stormtroopers. These men were none other then the cadets, following the commands of the Headmaster of the Imperial Academy, Gentis.

The battle was short-lived, it did not take long for Darth Vader, the Emperor's Enforcer and Apprentice, to rally the stormtroopers to fight off the rebels, they had the upper hand, until the Central Plaza Building was also set off with explosives, it however, was quite different. The building was engulfed in a green mist, it was the necrotic Aorth-6 virus.And worst of all, the Emperor was within the building, Darth Vader and a squad of troopers hurried to the Emperor's aid, greeted by a a crowd of dying soldiers, but still marched on.

Darth Vader then came to see that, the Emperor indeed, did not survive the attack, he laid in his chambers, a corpse. This had sent the Sith lord into a frenzy, as he stormed out of the building, pushing the remaining stormtroopers into the fray as he charged towards a mass of rebels as they unleashed a volley of blaster fire. Pieces of his armor begun to fall as he took as much of the blaster fire as he could, slashing away, taken a few of the rebels with him, until he could go on no more, and fell to his knees, dropping his lightsaber. Gentis, upon arriving to see his plan succeed, and to deliver the final blow to the empire. He stared into Darth Vader's exposed, furious eyes for a brief moment before executing him with his own lightsaber, slicing his head clean.

All cheered as they witnessed the greatest moment in their lives. They single handily saved the Empire, and the galaxy, or so they thought.

After acquiring the support of a few Generals and Admirals, Gentis had announced to the Galaxy of Deaths of Emperor Palpatine and Darth Vader, and crowned himself Emperor, his vision would soon come to a bitter end. Gentis could not hold the empire together as it crumbled right before his eyes. The Galaxy once again descended into chaos. Worlds loyal to the Old Republic immediately broke away, Civil War amongst the most powerful of Imperial Moffs and Military Officers, separatist holouts striking back and regaining momentum.

Twenty years had passed since the Gentis Coup, the galaxy is now a much different place, the Empire is no more, in it's place, is a vast array of imperial successor states, each claiming the mantel of True Heir to the Empire. Republic and Confederate loyalists alike were not immune to these political divides, even the remnants of the sith, and surprisingly, the jedi, are divided amongst themselves in such a matter, each establishing their own Orders throughout the Galaxy, while most other worlds and systems simply do not care. This new period is known to many as the Succession Wars, a time of continuous, on and off warfare. Be it skirmishes between small time warlords, to sector or regional spanning wars between larger powers, and there seems to be no end in sight. It is an uncertain and frighting time, a time for the rise of new heroes and villains alike, what part will you play in these hard times?

Instructions on Player-content
As you know, Star Wars is quite abundant with content, and while this is an alternate setting, there will still be some limitations, however, I want to talk about what players can do, rather then don't.

First off, I do plan on using the Star Wars Wiki as a primary source of info and ideas for players to work with. Choosing where to base their nation and whatnot, however, there's also ample opportunity for players to play around with ideas if certain things were to come up. For example, a world/system/sector has been ravaged by the empire or enslaved, but, that was after 19 BBY, so, with the Empire gone before then, their fate and history after the coup lies entirely up to you.

Another example, in the original timeline, Alderaan is destroyed, oh, but wait, without the empire, the Death Star now remains incomplete and most likely abandoned , see what I mean?

Now for the rules on player creativity. There are thousands upon thousands of worlds and species out there. And made clear on the wiki, many pages on worlds, systems and aliens are left vague, with little to no information, basically blank, that is when you come in. Study and research the particular sector or sectors within your borders, their worlds and inhabitants. Use what little info you can to make the species and worlds how you imagine them to be.

Ishkar Syndicate

Overview: The Ishkar Syndicate is an organization that holds a massive amount of influence and power in the Core Worlds. It is infamous for being involved in every known type of illegal activity; its information networks surpassed even the accuracy and scope of Imperial Intelligence and the Bothan Spynet. Unlike some other criminal organizations, the Ishkar Syndicate has a legitimate branch of the organization. Under the name of Arlos industries, it owns large-scale companies along with multiple smaller companies of various degrees of legality. Those companies produced battle droids, weapons, starships, and equipment--mostly for the Ishkar Syndicate use. The resources available to Ishkar rivaled those belonging to a large planetary army, including foot soldiers. By the time the Clone Wars occurred, the organization can already be considered as a rogue nation.

Specialization: Information Trading, Bounty Hunting, Artifact and Resource Smuggling.

Ghost was once known as Trace, a clone commando and the small-arms expert of Ion Team in the 22nd Air Combat Wing during the Clone Wars.The Ion Team refused to execute Jedi Roan Shryne, Bol Chatak, and Padawan Olee Starstone when they received Order 66 from Chancellor Palpatine, believing it to be a false enemy signal. Darth Vader, along with the 501st, arrived at the planet shortly after receiving reports about the rogue commando group. Vader then killed two members of the team but Captain
Climber, the leader of the squad, and Trace managed escaped into the forested hills of Murkhana while Vader was killing their comrades. Climber was eventually captured, while Trace was able to escape the planet.

For a while, Trace managed to live a peaceful life in Mandalore while attempting to blend in with the society. However, Trace wasn't able to stay in Mandalore for long. Mercurius, during one of his visits on the planet, managed to recruit Trace, who took a bounty hunter profession as a source of income during his stay at Mandalore. Trace eventually rose through the ranks, and became Mercurius' Enforcer in the organization. Trace eventually was given the name Ghost, due to his stealthy approach on subjugating unrest in the organization. He also developed a certain hatred towards his brothers, due to the events that took place in Boz Pity.

Hell's Anvil - A heavily customized ship once owned by a Mandalorian bounty hunter named Montross. After the death of the bounty hunter, the ship was towed by Jango Fett and was sold to the black market. The ship eventually found its way to the Ishkar Syndicate, before it was given to Ghost.

Occupation: Head Agent of the Ishkar Syndicate and legal owner of the Arlos Industries.

History:

Cynthia once belonged to a rich trader family in Fedalle, before she was kidnapped at a young age and was almost sold to slavery by their family's competitors. After she was kidnapped, the competitors used her as leverage to force her parents to surrender their business and assets. Although they were willing to submit to the captors demands, a change of plan on the captor's side took place. Seeing that it would be more lucrative to take them out, rather than to seize their belongings, which might be traced to their illegal activities; the competitors had them killed, right before Cynthia's eyes. Having no use for her anymore, they saw her as nuisance, which is why they planned to kill her. Luckily, one of the grunts suggested to sell her to slavery, to gain more profit from the crimes they already did.

While on their way to Coruscant, the slaver ship containing Cynthia was attacked by pirates and was captured. The pirates then takes them to an Ishkar statio in Fedalle, before revealing that they belong to the Ishkar Syndicate. Now belonging to the Ishkar, the slaves were released and were inspected by Mercurius himself who was inspecting the station at that time of their arrial. During his inspection, Mercurius takes an interest on the young Cynthia, which takes her personally from the rest of the slaves about to be sold, under the Ishkar's name. He then talks to her, and listens to the story behind her capture and how did she end up there. Upon hearing her story, Mercurius offers the young Cynthia a way to avenge her parents. Taking out the survivors from the slaver ship, he orders his men to bind them down, while giving the young Cynthia a vibro knife, letting do her as she wish with her captors life. Taking this as an opportunity to release her anger and hatred, Cynthia slowly begins to dismember the survivors, one limb at a time without holding back, crying as she does so.

Seeing potential on Cynthia, Mercurius offers her to be a part of the organization, even at a young age. The offer was eagerly accepted by Cynthia, as she saw another family in the image of the organization. Under the tutelage Mercurius, Cynthia was raised and trained to be the deadliest and smartest agent under Ishkar Syndicate's control. She was given legal control over the Bactoid corporations and the Spezioc Arms, so she could form them into the Arlos Industries using her family's legal background. This move made her to be the assumed leader of Ishkar Syndicate by the other crime organizations due to the involvement of the Arlos Industries in the criminal activities of the Ishkar.

History:

Tilani was born on the planet Zeltros, and led a life that was mostly focused in pleasure and gaining profit. Tilani met the leader of the Ishkar Syndicate, Mercurius, during one of his visits on the planet, in search for any Gen'Dai recruits. During that time, she was one of the prime entertainers in one of the pleasure palace' built on the planet. When Mercurius visited the establishment she was working on, immediately she went to him, trying to make a client out of the Gen'Dai. Eventually she found a way to service him, free of charge, as she had never experienced doing carnal acts with a Gen'Dai before, thinking of it as a reward on its own. Due to her acts, Mercurius thought of something, that would undoubtedly profit his organization. Mercurius offered Tilani to leave the planet, and join his side, using promises of having a luxurious life beyond the stars. Tilani gave into the promises given to her, and joined the ranks of the Ishkar.

She was then trained to the ways of the Ishkar, and was given control over one of the fronts of the organization. Using her influence in the entertainment industry she was able to hire a large amount of Zeltron and Twi'lek women to work for her. After gaining enough recruits she established the "Erocia" a mobile HQ for Ishkar agents under the disguise of a mobile pleasure palace. Now, she operates the Erocia through different sectors, leaving an Ishkar informant on every one they pass through.

Marauder - A Star Courier-class starfighter heavily modified by the Ishkar Syndicate. The ship is an exact copy of the Scimitar, but with increased armaments including a total of 10 Solar Ionization Cannons. The blueprints for the ship was stolen from the Imperial Data Archives along with the location of the Death Star, during the military coup on Coruscant.

Inside the ship:
2 IG-100 Magnaguards - Personal droids of Nerevar, their overall parts are made of a reinforced metallic alloy. The weakest parts are the joint areas since the material cannot be reinforced, without sacrificing the droid's mobility.

Karnassus - Named after their former homeworld, Karnassus is a moon-sized Imperial military battlestation armed with a massive Ion pulse cannon. The station was captured by the syndicate after it was abandoned by the Imperials during the aftermath of Gentis' reign. The syndicate resumed its construction, but with some customizations, like turning its massive superlaser into an Ion pulse cannon, and large hallways that are capable of allowing speeder's to pass through. Its original plans were revised after seeing that a single vent led directly to the core, implying a fatal flaw on the design. The syndicate then turned the single vent into multiple smaller vents that stretched out across the station, each closing when a sudden disturbance is detected entering the vent.

The Exodus - The acting flagship for the syndicate. This Subjugator-class ship was commissioned by the Ishkar from the Separtists near the end of the Clone Wars. In exchange for the ship, the syndicate provided the Separtists a hidden starlane route leading to the planet Coruscant, the information was then used by the Separtists when they attempted to capture the Chancellor. The ship has more armaments compared to the usual Subjugator-class ships that served the Separtists. The ship acts as the forward base of operations of the syndicate, covering up the existence of Karnassus.

Ragnar Syndicate - The Ragnar Syndicate is a branch of the Bounty Hunter's guild that specializes in unorthodox techniques and skills when executing their targets. After the Gentis Coup, the Ragnar was offered by the Ishkar to work for their organization. The Ragnar accepts the offer, in exchange that they are assigned to jobs that would specifically cater to their type of killing. Members of this group are tasked with the assassination contracts that needed to be done in the name of the Ishkar.

Ishkar Stations - These are Ithorian Herdships fitted with turbolaser batteries, and extended living quarters for the Ishkar forces. The stations are capable supporting 20,000 foot soldiers, and multiple starfighters and frigates. It acts as an extension of the Ishkar's operations on the system they are found in and are usually the drop-off points for smuggled goods. Each stations has 2 supporting IGBC Gun Platforms fully manned by droids and complimenting vulture droids.

Humanoid Forces:

Ishkar Raiders - A collection of bounty hunters, mercenaries, and gangs working for the Ishkar Syndicate. They are responsible for doing most of the dirty work of the syndicate, and are the bulk of the Ishkar's forces. The raider's unit count depends on how many would answer the Ishkar's call to arms; since most of these units form smaller groups that operates under the Ishkar's name. They are outfitted with uniforms provided by the syndicate, but are armed with the weapons they own personally. Only humanoid species are allowed to join due to uniform issues, since it would require more credits to manufacture specialized uniforms. An exception is made to those who show exceptional skills in their field of expertise.



Ishkar Raider Commando - The only non-Gen'Dai regulars in the Ishkar Raiders. They are responsible for amassing forces for the Ishkar when the raiders are needed. They are usually equipped with armor suits provided by the syndicate, and armaments varying on their specialty. The act as commanding officers of the raiders they are able to gather.

Ishkarian Legionnaire - After the Gentis Coup, the syndicate realized their need for a professional army due the increased amount of hostilities in the Core Worlds. Seeing inspiration from the success of the clones, they commissioned an army from the Kaminoans cloners, which is now part of the GRM. The Ishkar then provided the GRM with Stygium crystals as payment, for a Systems Army loyal to the Ishkar Syndicate. The clones are equipped with Durasteel plated armors, a DL-18 Blaster Pistol, a WESTAR-M5 Blaster Rifle, thermal grenades, and Vibroblade gauntlets. These units are further trained by Gen'Dai specialists, making them more effective on the battlefield.

Gen Dai Forces:

Centurion Corps: An army composed of Gen'Dai recruits serving as the reserve strike force of the Ishkar Syndicate. To be a Centurion, a Gen'Dai must be at least 400 years old, and has spent at least 50 years in military training or as a bounty hunter and mercenary. Most of these units are found on the planet Jaxus, where they act as the planetary security force.

Scarlet Blades: An army of elite Gen'Dai troopers loyal only to the Ishkar's leader. These units are trained by specialists who were considered to be at the top of their trade in a variety of fields. Forces in this group well surpasses the abilities of the ARC Troopers, and even the most renown bounty hunters around the galaxy. They usually operate alone, although sometimes they're seen working in squads. They eventually pass down their knowledge to younger members of the group, increasing their effectiveness as the years pass, provided they don't succumb to psychosis.

Scarlet Wing Fighter - A type of flashship modified to eliminate enemy spacecrafts. These ships are privately produced by the Cygnus Spaceworks for the Ishkar Syndicate. It mostly relies on its speed to dodge any projectiles towards it, even though its shield is well capable of holding out against enemy fire.

Ishkarian Saberguards: In response to the threat that almost decimated their entire population after the Great Hyperspace War, the Saberguards were formed. Specializing in the arts of lighsaber dueling, these are the Gen'Dai's vanguards against its force wielding opponents. They are usually assigned with the peacekeeping in the Gen'Dai society, eliminating members that are experiencing severe cases of psychosis. These units are equipped with ornate Gen'Dai armors, lightsabers made from lignan crystals, and 2 blaster pistols holstered behind their backs.

Ishkarian Dreadguards: An order composed of veterans from the Saberguards, they are known to be extremely deadly and loyal to the Ishkar Leader. Only six candidates are given the title of being an Ishkarian Dreadguard. If a member of the guards show signs of psychosis, he or she is immediately executed by the other members, to contain a possible killing machine being unleashed into the galaxy. They are equipped with ornate dreadguard armors, with helmets reinforced by cortosis-weaving. They also have a light shield, an EE-3 Carbine Rifle and a Sith lightsaber for equipments. With a maximum lifespan of 7,000 years, these warriors have enough time to master all of the techniques used by the Jedi's and the Sith's. A single dreadguard is capable of matching 2 to 3 Jedi/Sith opponents at a time.

Aggressor-class Star Destroyer - Ships of the class were comparable in terms of size to the Galactic Empire's Imperial-class Star Destroyers and were armed with two powerful fire-linked guns fixed to the forward hull which fired a large ion pulse followed by an enormous, spiraling plasma shot. The ion shot disabled the shields so the plasma shot could do maximum damage. They were also armed with turbolaser batteries in their wings. However, once the main cannons were destroyed, the ship is nearly helpless against conventional capital ships with only one turbolaser battery on each side.

Vengeance-class Frigate - These ships are equipped with heavy plating but has no shielding, compensating for a faster movement. These ships are equipped with mass drivers, so their weapons would entirely bypass an enemy's ray shields and could overheat their cores to self-destruct if the situation called for it.

Civillian

Erocia - An Ithorian Herdship infamous for being the largest mobile pleasure palace in the galaxy. It is well known for its Zeltron entertainers, and Twi'lek dancers. The ship also acts, not only as a pleasure palace, but also as mobile HQ for the agents of the Ishkar Syndicate. Under its disguise, the syndicate managed to infiltrate several systems from the Core Worlds, to the Outer Rim.

Controlled systems: All of the systems below are either run by puppet governments placed by the Ishkar Syndicate, or

directly governed by the Ishkar itself.
Jaxus - A system long deleted on the archives, it now acts as the base of operations for the Ishkar Syndicate. Founded not long after the destruction Gen'Dai' homeworld, the sole planet in the system quickly became a refuge for remnants of their race. Protected by its hidden existence, the Gen'Dai race thrived and turned the system to their liking. The syndicate even placed several herdships throughout the system, and filling them with flora and fauna gathered from other planets, making several consumable goods available to them, without having to move out of the system.
Fedalle - A lucrative trading hub controlled by the syndicate. Multiple shipyards are built here by the Cygnus Spaceworks.

Arlos Industries - A company formed from merging the Baktoid companies and the Speizoc company. The company specializes on producing battle droids, weapons, and other military equipments. Products from the company are often sold to the highest bidders in the black market. The company's headquarters is located at the planet Fedalle.
Tesdarian Collective - A large collection of companies found all over the Core Worlds.

Baktoid Armor Workshop and Baktoid Combat Automata - Being at the verge of dissolution in 19BBY, the Ishkar Syndicate assimilated the two companies, along with its remaining assets. All of the remaining factories on the Inner Rim were demolished, while the ones on the Outer Rim were sold to crime lords. The syndicate then gave its legal rights to Cynthia Arlos, so that she could form the Arlos Industries.
Speizoc Arms - Bought by the syndicate not long after the Gentis Coup, this arms manufacturer became their main source of weaponry. The company is part of the Arlos Industries.
Colicoid Creation Nest - Soon after the initiation of the order 66, several companies involved with the Separtists were seized and were in line for dissolution. Having connections with the new Empire, the syndicate managed to buy it out and seize all production rights and product plans. Although the Colicoid Creation Nest still operate freely on its homeworld, they are tasked with production of newer products, like a the W-series Droideka.
Cygnus Spaceworks - Control over this company went to the syndicate after placing several of its agents on the company's board of directors. The company now provides the ships and equipments needed by the organization at a lower price-- sometimes, for free. Being located at the Mid Rim, a significant force is dispatched at their HQ to keep the company in relative safety.

Korlier Combine - Seized by the syndicate days after the Gentis Coup, the company now provides the organization Flashships used for smuggling artifacts into the Core Worlds.

The syndicate is responsible for the smuggling of the metallic compound in and out of the Core Worlds, though they aren't the only smugglers of the material, they are the considered largest. Rumors in the criminal underworld say that they are responsible for supplying cortosis to the Separtists, which used the ore to make C-B3 Cortosis Battle Droids.
Rylith Crystals: A crystal capable of absorbing and storing solar energy. The syndicate used these crystasl to create energy stores for their main power source. They are also sold to the black market and to legal firms seeking to use the crystal for various weapon designs.
Sith and Jedi Artifacts: Gathered by the syndicate mostly for collection purposes, these artifacts range from lightsabers, holocrons, and ornate armors.

Government Type:

The Grand Republic isn't so much a government, as an informal republic styled coalition of multiple clans with representation by every clan's Alor having an equal say in the affairs of the Grand Republic. Though for the most part the Jedi Council has been integrated within the myriad clans, there still exists an organization specifically for the Jedi, and they are also given place within the impromptu council. Beyond this informal republic, the Mandalorian Clans conduct themselves about as independently as they always have done.

Mandalore
The iron-core of the Grand Republic, Mandalore serves as more than the capital of the GRM, but as the spiritual heart of the people. From the simple holdings of various clans across both desert and plains, all the way to the sprawling capital of Keldabe, the Mandalorians have come together like never before in support of the Mand'alor and their fellow Mandalorian. Keldabe itself has become more welcoming to the traveler, serving as the home of the governing body of the republic as well as the personal home of the Paladin. Many different species walk the streets of Keldabe now, serving as visual proof of the GRM's efforts to bring the Mandalorians into a new glory and retake that which was lost. Most notable to many, however, is the presence of the towering Jedi Enclaves, a tower dedicated to the Jedi who sought refuge among the Mandalorians from the rise of the Empire and later the Imperial Remnants. It is within this tower that the varying sects of Jedi live and teach their way of life, and it is also here that the Grandmaster of the Jedi Enclaves oversees the Jedi holdings spread among GRM territory.

Manda'gyce - Mandalorian Command(Mandalore Sector)
The center of the Grand Republic's influence, the Mandalore sector serves as the beating heart of the GRM with Mandalore itself as the iron-core of the nation. While Mandalore itself is notable the most notable world of the sector, there are many others worth mentioning. Perhaps just as important as the worlds it supplies, Concord Dawn is a critical Agri-World within the sector, supplying much needed food-supplies to much of the GRM's holdings. As such, it sees much traffic from GRM Inner-Circle Fleets, and has a sprawling temple complex for the Jedi Enclaves. The main population of the planet consists of humans and devaronians, though with the establishment of GRM control it has seen an influx of Kaminoan and clone settlers looking to settle the lands. While Concord Dawn is quite firmly an Agri-World, Breshig has shifted to take up the role of main shipyards of the GRM. Boasting three massive planetary rings for the purpose of shipbuilding, Breshig takes up nearly half of the production quotas of the GRM Navy, and is the primary reason for Mandalorian Drive-Yards to have reached it's status as one of the top five in the galaxy.

Closer to home, Concordia has seen a revival as the once lush forests of the world are beginning to recover from the massive mining operations the Mandalorians conducted in the past. Spread among these forests are the main colonies of the Kaminoans, kept close to the Mandalorians in order to secure their safety from prying eyes and vengeful hearts. From their colonies, the Kaminoans wander the world and tend to the growing lands, taking with them the batches of clones that will serve as Agri-World workers so that they can teach them the ways of the land more intuitively. Mining operations are kept minimal in order to minimize damage to the ecosystem, instead focusing on deep-mining so that as little of the surface is used as possible.

Kyr'ra - The Dead-Stars(Belsmuth Sector)
Primarily a frontier sector, Kyr'ra is a heavily fortified and dangerous stretch of space with sporadic colonies spread throughout the region. Many of the systems contain star-forts built as staging points for GRM patrol fleets, with some even wholly dedicated to such facilities. Foremost among these systems are those of the Crombach Nebulae and Naval Station Kyr'ra Ke'gyce. Not much is known of Crombach outside the GRM, save that the nation is highly protective of whatever is going on there, and that the Jedi are involved in some way, however that may be. The region is believed to be a staging point for experimental vessels, with a fair few vessels leaving the nebulae that were not observed to have entered. Kyr'ra Ke'gyce on the other hand, is well known to be a strongpoint for GRM fleets operating in the sector, usually playing host to a large portion of the active fleets as well as serving as dockyards for those vessels currently on rest. The station itself is well over thirty-one kilometers in length, and utilizes multiple large vessel dock-rings for the servicing of larger ships such as the Imperator or Kandosii and even the odd Praetor or Lucrehulk. Within the station, the clone troopers and Mandalorian assault troops are well taken care of with a host of facilities catered towards ensuring that they are able to return to duty well rested and eager for battle. One of the most well known bars in GRM space is actually contained within the station, the Kov'nyn or Keldabe Kiss, and has operated there since the launch of the station five-years ago.

Elsewhere in the sector, Mandalorian Drive Yards operates shipbuilding facilities within the Botajef system, though the facilities there primarily serve as auxiliary service yards for the GRM navy. Borkeen is also a system worth mentioning, as the Borkeen Belt plays host to dozens of mining facilities as well as the GRM Outer Cordon Defensive Command. Because of the proximity of Kyr'ra Ke'Gyce and Crombach, the GRM-OCDC sees a lot of traffic from the admiralty of the fleets, as well as operating as a Fleet-Exercise area for testing of fleet tactics and munitions.

Hettyc'araniik - The Burning Cordon(Demetras Sector)
Combined with Kyr'ra and [PLACEHOLDER], Hettyc'araniik serves as the industrial backbone of the GRM, supplying much of the critical Durasteel and various other minerals needed to keep the fleets active and resupplied.

Werda'Ka'ra - The Shadow Sector(Ojoster Sector)
Foremost among the holdings of the Werda'Ka'ra is that of Taris, home to the Tarisian League of Mandalorian clans. Standing as an economic center since the early days of the Republic, Taris has always been overshadowed by the likes of Coruscant and Corellia, and many times seen as a haven for those who would not normally make it in the bustling cities of the prior two. Even still, despite the waning of its glory prior to the Clone Wars, Taris was still a very viable target for Separatists looking to weaken the economic base of the teetering Republic. For this reason did the then planetary governor appeal to the Mandalorians to become part of their neutral systems alliance, and then followed suit to become part of the Grand Republic of Mandalore. Within a few short years many of the people became endeared to the Mandalorian ways, seeing the high value of culture and family as something to strive for, and the Mandalorians saw a much needed boost to their population in the form of those who would not normally be thought of as Mandalorian. Flash forward to present day, and a vast majority of Taris speaks primarily Mando'a, and many clans have created holdings among the towering skylines of the city-world. With the Mandalorians of the GRM, of course, came the Jedi as well, and one their largest Enclaves operates here, recruiting from the native population of Twi'Lek and Humans. As special note, the GRM utilizes Taris and its underground as a training center for Urban-Combat, putting through some million troops each year in weekly cleansing exercises.

Elsewhere in the sector, the Tarisian League operates GRM facilities on Denova for the purpose of Baradium mining, supplying much of the needed element to Mandalorian Arms as well as Czerka and MDY. The world also serves as a staging point for GRM fleet exercises, with large repair and re-arming facilities set up in orbit above the mining world. Close by is the world of Wayland, a heavily fortified world that serves dual purposes as Hostile Climate Training, as well as one of the many Jedi Enclaves within GRM space. Also within Werda'Ka'ra is the world of Jebble which nominally serves as a training facility for Hostile Climate Training, due to its status as an ice-world. Jebble is also noted for the installation of shipyards that have been constructed by the Tarisian League to supplement MDY orders, as well as fulfill their own orders under Tarisian Hypernautics. Along with Jebble, Ord Fanthal also operates shipyards for Tarisian Hypernautics, devoting a large portion of its resources to commissions for the Ishkar along with others who wish to purchase non-standard GRM vessels.

Japrael Sector:
Within the Onderon system its moon Dxun is of special note, in that it has been re-purposed to a training planet and cloning facility for the Mandalorian Clone-Troopers. Few centers of civilization exist on the world, as the Mandalorian and Kaminoan Clone-Masters feel that the savage environments of Dxun provide the perfect environment for training new clones in the arts of war, and survival on hostile worlds. The hyperspace routes between the Mandalore Sector and Japrael Sector are heavily patrolled by the Grand Army of the Mandalorian Republic, with very little traffic between them other than the military convoys.

Appearance: Mandalore the Paladin has never been seen without some form of armor or robe, with the Mask of Mandalore always worn. Mandalore's personal armor is that of a heavily modified Neo-Crusader armor utilizing solid Beskar as the plating and enhanced actuators to assist movement for more fluid close-combat capability.

Brief History:

Initially, when the Jedi of the Ninth System's Army came to Mandalore, they found a party of apathetic New Mandalorians under a Mand'alor that cared nothing for the conflict raging about her planet. Under Satine Kryze, the Mandalorians had become embroiled in civil-war amongst each other, with both factions struggling for control over both the planet and their people. Even as the Ninth moved to secure their own future, a challenger to the title of Mand'alor arose from the myriad clans of Mandalore. A relative unknown, the man wore simple robes and a facemask to meet with Satine directly on the eve of the first year of the Gentis Coup. At first startled by the newcomer, Satine did not fully-comprehend that she had been openly challenged to the title of Mand'alor by the man, a challenge which could not be denied or the title was lost according to ancient Mandalorian tradition. Understanding her situation at last, she stood in the face of her challenger and denied him a battle, daring him to take her life for she would not take his. With little other choice, the man severed her head and proclaimed to the gathered crowd that he alone was Mand'alor and that any who dared challenge him do so now.

Eager to take his own chance, Satine's foremost rival Pre Vizsla stood up to challenge the man claiming himself Mand'alor. In a duel which lasted for hours, the two combatants fought across the square observed by a crowd of now hundreds of Mandalorians. Each fighter moved cautiously, keeping their energy reserved for quick bursts of activity, and neither making any overt killing moves for fear of allowing their opponent an opening. With a bold move, the claimant left himself open to Vizsla allowing him to strike at his side, while enabling him to bring about his own blade in a vicious counterattack that severed Vizsla's head. Holding the severed heads of both Vizsla and Satine aloft to the crowd the man proclaimed himself as Mandalore the Paladin, rightful ruler of the Mandalorians, and the one who would truly bring the people to their old glory. He swore it upon himself to rebuild all that their people had lost, and that the Jedi along with the Ninth Systems Army would be the first step on a long and arduous path to retake their glory. From that moment the Grand Republic of Mandalore was born, and the Mandalorians took their first steps towards their former glory, with the Paladin at their head.

Appearance: The true face of the being known as The Cold Void has not been seen since the tragedy that caused their horrific injuries during the Clone Wars. Always swathed in heavy dark robes, The Cold Void is believed to be wearing a form of ornate Sith battle-armor recovered from a Sith Temple during the war.

Brief History:

The Fallen Jedi known as The Cold Void first surfaced after a particularly savage campaign within the Outer Rim territories, a campaign that has been lost in the records after the chaos of the Empire's fall. They had been tasked with investigating a possible Separatist base on a frozen-world called Korriz within the Stygian Caldera, an investigation which ended in catastrophic failure at the hands of previously unknown assailants native to the world. The landing of the ill-fated legion was at first met with only silence, the world seeming to be completely dead, but soon the Jedi-Knight had discovered the existence of a Sith Tomb under the surface. With the breaching of the Tomb, hundreds of ancient Krath War Droids reactivated and began a systematic slaughter of the Clone Troopers. The Jedi-Knight was at the center of the battle, desperately attempting to redirect the battle in favor of the Republic, but unable to counter the firepower and durable construction of the ancient droids.

As the battle continued, the Jedi-Knight was forced to retreat with the ARC commandos, falling back to the Sith Tomb in an attempt to gain better ground. Within the labyrinthine complex The Jedi eventually became separated from the ARC Commandos, the halls echoing with the screams of their deaths, and the raw power of the dark side slowly corrupting the Jedi. Driven mad by the rampant energies of the force, the Jedi fell into an abyss that had been opened during the battle. Falling to a grim death at the bottom of the ruin, the Jedi reached out with the Force to try to arrest the fall, unwittingly letting the Dark Side fully into their being. The Force would not let them off easy, and the massive losses of the day had opened a wound within their being, the rush of the dark energies of the ancient tomb wreaking havoc on the Jedi's mind and body as they broke upon the stone floor of the deepest reaches of the tomb.

When the Jedi awoke, they no longer wore the guise of the Jedi-Knight from before, but that of a Fallen Jedi, the dark-side energies altering them into a raw wound in the force. A seething hunger filled the Fallen Jedi, a desire to feed upon the life energy overwhelming all prior sensibilities. Scavenging the ancient battle armor of the long-dead Sith-Lord, the Fallen Jedi stumbled out into the frozen wastes of Korriz to find life to feed upon. For several years the Fallen Jedi sustained itself on the native creatures of the world, until it could finally draw upon enough strength to recollect its fragmented mind and escape the world on one of the forgotten transport vessels.

Garbed in the robes of a Jedi, the fallen Jedi rejoined it's brethren within the Mandalorian nation as a Dark Jedi seeking asylum, calling itself The Cold Void. The Mandalorians accepted The Cold Void as an ally, whereas the Jedi Council were slow to trust, though over time the relations between the Jedi Order and those allied with The Cold Void have improved.

The Cold Void uses a rare form of Force powers, revolving around the manipulation of ambient temperatures to induce severe cold and project bolts of ice. This unique form of Force powers also has imbued The Cold Void with the ability to survive the hard vacuum of space without an enclosed suit. The use of other Force powers has been severely restricted because of The Cold Void's mastery in this field, with many abilities closed off to it. It is believed that The Cold Void is proficient in the use of the forgotten Dun Möch style of lightsaber combat, utilizing the unique Force powers along with great patience to slowly erode the opponent's will to fight, before striking them down.

Brief History:

Born on Alpheridies, the Miralukan sisters Solace and Requiem were raised to utilize their natural force-abilities at a young age. Graduating from the Luka Sene at the age of 15, the sisters were devout members of the organization, dedicating themselves to the needs of all on Alpheridies, and never putting themselves before another. When they were inducted into the Sene Seekers three years later, they began to develop a yearning for wandering like many young Miraluka do. It was such that the Luka Sene chose to send the sisters on missions to redeem those who had fallen away from home, and is where they began their fall from the light-side.

A Miralukan male by the name of Zentraedies had uncovered a dark-side artifact on an outer-rim world near the Stygian Caldera, and the sisters had been sent to attempt to redeem Zentraedies. When they tracked him down, they had found that he had discovered a Sith holocron, and had already accessed the knowledge within, learning of dangerous secrets that should not have been uncovered. A tense stand-off resulted between the two sisters and the fallen Miraluka, neither side willing to attack the other. Zentraedies finally relented after several tense moments, admitting that he had made contact with a supposed Sith Lord in order to barter away the Holocron.

Appalled at the carelessness of Zentraedies, Solace insisted that he come with them back to Alpheridies, but he refused, stating that the Sith Lord would hunt him down for the betrayal. Conflicted, the sisters agreed that Zentraedies would return to Alpheridies alone, and that they would take the Holocron to the Sith Lord on their own. Zentraedies vowed to stay true to the sisters, and immediately boarded a shuttle back home. While he was in route, Solace and Requiem traveled to the territories of the Grand Republic of Mandalore to return the holocron to the Sith as part of the deal.

Arriving on Mandalore to a rather odd welcoming by the Jedi Enclaves, the twins entered the Enclaves to seek out the supposed Sith and deliver the holocron. Passing by countless murals of the Jedi Order, the two began to grow increasingly uneasy about the whole prospect, feeling that something was well and truly off about this mission. Finally arriving in the Grand Archives of the Enclave, the two found the one they were seeking. Sat within the center of the room was a raw and seething wound in the force, a being who fed off the very energies around it, and the one believed to be a Sith Lord right in the heart of the Jedi Enclaves. It was there that they explained that they were to fulfill Zentraedies' end of the bargain, and to give the Sith Lord the Holocron without payment. Accepting the holocron, the mysterious Sith bid them to peruse the Archives while they wait for their vessel to be refueled.

At first, they thought to refuse, but Solace felt it better to indulge the eccentric Sith Lord, and they entered the vast repository with the intention of simply looking around without activating anything. The more they wandered the endless hallways, the more curious they became, and the more curious they became, the more they chose to look into. When refitment had been completed the sisters had already become embroiled within the archives of the order, and were eager to learn more. So it was that the sisters Requiem and Solace pledged themselves to The Cold Void and the Jedi Enclaves.

Little do the sisters know, that Zentraedies did return to Alpheridies, and has since become the Grand-Master of the Luka Sene, his redemption absolute in the face of those dark secrets revealed years ago. He has been known to offer extravagant rewards to those who may have information regarding the whereabouts of the sisters, especially Solace, whom he had been in love with.

Lightsaber Pike - A rare type of weapon utilizing a long staff-like hilt with cortosis weave built into it.

Jedi-Battle Armor - A composite suit of battle-armor made to be light and flexible in combat, yet provide durability and strength against lightsabers and blaster weapons. The plates are made of a crimson ceramic material with a cortosis weave throughout, secured to an armourweave bodysuit. Modifications to the suit include a wrist-mounted guard-shoto lightsaber on the right gauntlet, and an array of force-attuned crystals mounted into the left gauntlet.

Requiem:

Equilibrium - Unique curved cross-guard lightsaber, has been modified to use either emitter as the main blade. Has been force-attuned to Requiem.

Jedi-Battle Armor - Similar to that of Solace's battle-armor, Requiem's battle-armor has been modified as well. Eschewing the wrist-mounted weapons, Requiem has instead installed electronic interfacing systems, as well as miniature hydraulics to make it a powered-battle armor. The armor suit links up to the modified neural band that she wears to cover her eyes, and allows the suit to respond to her force-sight as well as her own movements.

Modified DC-15S Blaster Carbine - Modified with an enhanced scope array as well as an expanded magazine. The Scope array has been made with lenses of attuned crystals, allowing Requiem to 'see' down the scope to the same extent as a user without force-sight could.

- Skills -

Both of the Miralukan sisters are adept in the Juyo/Vaapad lightsaber forms, as well as having training in the Sokan techniques and the Dun Moch form. Solace has followed in the footsteps of their master, and has become adept in the use of the Force powers for which their master is named. She also retains many of the abilities learned during her tutorship among the Luka Sene, able to utilize healing powers to a large degree. Requiem, on the other hand, is less learned in the Cold Force, instead focusing on her use of the Force-Sight, and developing it further into a form of precognition, which she uses to locate artifacts for the Archives. Another of Requiem's skills is the usage of advanced healing abilities and shielding techniques.

- Personalities -

Solace is rather reserved, preferring to keep her emotions to herself, her sister, and their master. She comes off as just as cold and unforgiving as The Cold Void, attributed to the extended exposure to the Sith Lord's influence. She is known to be more ruthless and violent than her master though, in that she is known to personally execute those who fail her master, and is not above torture. It is because of her ruthlessness and adherence to the tenets which have brought her to the status of First Prime

A step away from both her sister, and their master, Requiem is a more of a free-spirit, reveling in the feeling of being alive and openly expressing her feelings. It is well known that she would prefer to "Hug it out" than actually fight others, though she understands the necessity of combat. Unlike her sister, she has openly admitted to an infatuation with the eccentric Dark-Jedi she serves, a subject which the Dark-Jedi tends to avoid discussing whenever possible.

The Mandalorian society is an ancient one that has been in existence for thousands of years in one form or another, only occasionally coming together for what they have taken to calling the Crusades. Spanning the entire galaxy, Mandalorians have served as mercenaries for countless organizations of varying repute, plying the only trade they know. Before the formation of the Grand Republic, the thought of the Mandalorians coalescing into an actual society was laughable at best, and the beginning of the end at worst. What with their instinctive individualism, the knack for survival in virtually any (breathable)environment, and their penchant for battle, a legitimate nation of Mandalorians is something rightful to be feared when left to its own devices. In truth, the Mandalorian Clans might not have come together as a cohesive government if not for the perfect storm of factors that came in the form of the rise of a new and influential Mand'alor, the fall of the Empire and the Republic, and the arrival of a group of Jedi fleeing Order 66.

It was early in the Clone wars when some Jedi began to feel their grip on the future slipping, many telling of dark clouds obscuring the portents. As the war carried on, these dark clouds became more and more prominent, to the point that even their greatest could see beyond the close of the war. The Ninth Systems Army saw intense fighting throughout the wars, the Jedi at their head leading them into many battles that few would walk out of, but always being there for the Clones. So it was that as many other Clone-Troopers saw their Jedi-Masters as merely commanders, the Ninth Systems Army came to regard their Jedi as much more, many confiding with the Jedi on the things they had seen during the wars and the Jedi providing the moral support to keep the Ninth loyal and fighting. One of the more influential battles of the Clone Wars was that of Coruscant, and here was where the Ninth showed their support for the Jedi, by moving to secure the Jedi Temple, and helping them to copy the Archives into the archives of their command-ship, The Ataru Sentinel.

With the Archives secured, and a full-copy of them within the command-ship, the Ninth moved to support other elements of the Grand Army of the Republic in holding the capital against separatist forces. When the battle concluded, the Jedi-Council were made aware of the actions of the Ninth, and how the Great Holocron itself was safely held in their care. After some debate, it was ruled that it was best for the Archives to have a back-up, and that the Ninth would act as its protectors until such a time as it was no longer necessary. With Coruscant behind them, the Ninth continued their efforts across the Republic to keep the separatists back, and defend the Republic. Through these battles the Jedi who accompanied them devoted themselves more and more to the Ninth, committing more and more to the front-lines, and often times leading the assaults themselves.

At the eve of the final battles of the Clone Wars,Contingency Order 66 was issued to the entire Grand Army of the Republic, and across the galaxy Jedi were executed by their once loyal clones. The Ninth Systems Army also received this order, though it's effectiveness was nulled by the actions of Moff Tarkin and the cadre of Jedi commanders of the Ninth, who issue a counter-order to the clones of the Ninth. Citing Order 5, Wilhuff Tarkin accused Palpatine of being unfit to issue orders, and took up temporary command of the Ninth with the Jedi acting as his security council. Initially the Clone-Commanders were at odds with these orders, as they had come to trust the Jedi of the Ninth a great deal, and were equally bound to obey Palpatine's order. Ever one to take advantage of a situation, Tarkin cited the capture of Palpatine by Grievous and how it was entirely possible that the senator had been infiltrated by Separatists, using the power of the senator to remove powerful assets of the Republic from play before a precision strike. While Tarkin's accusations were not in truth, they did line up with the actions of the Republic of late, and were later found to be only partially true when Palpatine declared himself emperor and dissolved the Republic.

Now on the run from the Republic itself, the Ninth took action to preserve not only the Jedi but the old ways of the Republic as it began to crumble around them. Many worlds were thought of as havens, though nearly all of them were deemed unsuitable for reasons all the way from supporting the chancellor to being a separatist stronghold, or just being outright denied by the world itself. With only two choices left before aligning with the Separatists, the Ninth flipped a coin over going to the Hutts or the Mandalorians. The result of the coin-flip sent the rebels to Mandalore, where they found the planet split by civil war between the New Mandalorians and the Death-Watch, and neither party too willing to take in the refugees. For several weeks the Jedi of the Ninth along with Tarkin and a few of the other Moffs negotiated terms of refuge with the clan leaders as well as Satine and Vizsla themselves, all of which was only met with "In time we shall see.". Their chance came when the Gentis Coup was enacted and the Paladin arose to take the reigns of leadership by declaring himself Mand'alor. With the galaxy set ablaze around them, the Paladin set upon them one simple question "Will you help us to reclaim our lost glory and stand beside me as I build a new and stronger republic?". Knowing that this was the best chance they had, the assembled leaders of the Ninth Systems Army pledged themselves to the Paladin and the Mandalorians.

Before they could truly join into the Paladin's rising republic, the Ninth had to act quickly to secure their future, and that of the Mandalorian Republic. Two key assets needed to be acquired before the Ninth could truly stand on their own, and that was shipbuilding capability and the Kaminoans. In terms of shipbuilding capabilities, the Mandalorians were already moving to set up their own shipyards by the merger of MandalMotors and Mandal Hypernautics, all they needed were schematics for Republic vessels, schematics held by Kuat Drive Yards nearly half the galaxy away. Divisions were drawn, and multiple legions were brought together under what would later be called Operation Lance of the Republic in a lightning assault against Kuat under the guise of Imperial Remnants come to ensure loyalty. All markings from the vessels were scrubbed as well as black-boxes removed in case of the ship falling into enemy hands, with Grand Admiral Tarkin taking up the role of a Moff of the Empire to do negotiations. Coming in with just his Venator command ship, Tarkin began the negotiations with Kuat for ensured loyalty, all the while the armada of the Ninth readied for his own encrypted signal. At the height of his summit, Tarkin gave the order and the Ninth Systems Army jumped in system to begin their assault, all the while Tarkin's teams of ARC troopers made their move on KDY's headquarters to secure their database. While the ARC troopers worked planetside, the fleet worked a furious battle to cover the operatives on the ground despite facing a larger fleet. After nearly an hour of intense fighting, the ARC troopers took their prize and disengaged from the battle-zone, fleeing the system with Tarkin and the rest of the armada close on their heels. Despite losing three venators and seven acclamators, the Ninth managed to secure the entire database of KDY and leave nothing behind that would lead to their discovery.

Elsewhere in the galaxy, the Ninth lead the second part of Operation Lance of the Republic in an assault to at first seize Kaminoan facilities, but ended up being a rescue-operation against the Empire. Their first clue that something may have been off was the presence of an Imperial fleet overhead, and what seemed to be a battle going on surface-side. Taking swift action to cripple the Imperial fleet before they could alert the surface troops, the Ninth moved in to support and despatched a legion to the surface to relieve the beleaguered Kaminoan defenders. Coming in from behind, the Ninth pinned the Imperials between the battle-hardened forces of the Republic Clones and the defensive forces of the Kamino clones. With nothing left but smoking Imperial corpses, the commanders of the Ninth entered the facilities to speak with the Kaminoan Clone-masters, now moving to convince them to depart with them to Mandalore. At first, the Kaminoans refused, feeling that they could not simply leave their home after the first attack, but soon it became clear that it was not the first and would not be the last. Word had come down from orbit that a second fleet was incoming, and captured Imperial crews from the orbiting vessels had revealed that their remnant intended to execute a Base-Delta-Zero on Kamino to prevent any others from seizing the facilities. With a clear choice before them, the Kaminoans ceded to the requests of the Ninth, moving to secure what little they could before sabotaging the rest. As the last of the Kaminoans cleared the facilities, the Ninth assembled their fleet, now including the various vessels of the Kaminoans, and set off the charges that sunk the Kaminoan facilities to the ocean floor and ensured that no others would be able to recover them.

Now with both shipbuilding and cloning capabilities under their control, the Ninth looked to establish themselves socially within the Mandalorian's republic. Tarkin, at the behest of the Jedi Council, dissolved the Ninth Systems Army and placed the operation forces under the command of the Paladin, who then moved to place Tarkin as head of the Grand Republic of Mandalore Navy. With an army of its own, and moves to establish the government among its people, the GRM moved to secure their borders and take in the surrounding sectors as protectorates and member states. Each of these member-states was given a seat in the new senate of the GRM, alongside the alor's of the clans and the heads of the military. The Jedi themselves moved to integrate with Mandalorian society, taking up roles as civil-servants and going about to help the society take up less militaristic ways of life and showing them the merits of such a way. Along with their civil duties, the Jedi reworked the code as a means of preserving their way of life, all done under the auspices of now Grandmaster Obi-Wan Kenobi, a practical minded man who saw the need to be more open with the Jedi way and accepting of other paths. With their code revised, and much of the strictness of the old Jedi Order relaxed in favor of a more free order, the Jedi looked to establish enclaves across GRM space, knowing now the folly of keeping all of their eggs in one basket, so to speak. The changes to the code also lead to a more political view of the force, and of the users in general, leading to the rise of more than one dark-jedi affiliated with the Enclaves and living among fellow Jedi without reprisal. While some of the more traditionalist Jedi of the order are in opposition to this, the dark-jedi and even Sith affiliated force-users of the Enclaves understand the code as well as all others and are content to live within the Enclaves so long as they are allowed to live and practice in the way they choose.

While the Jedi established their Enclaves and their future, the Paladin saw to his own people, issuing the Call of Mandalore to all those who had dispersed from the home-planet and stamping out the last dregs of civil-war on Mandalore itself. Within a few short years, the he would see the GRM establish secured trade-lanes with GRM space, and solidify the gains of his collected peoples. Across all of GRM space, Mand'oa was being shifted into the primary dialect, and education facilities shifted to teach the Resol'nare as soon as children could speak. As an act to restore some of the honor of the Mandalorians, he also asked of his people to limit their mercenary activities, and when they did indulge in such actions to always look to the Resol'nare as guidance. With the Mandalorians reformed into a noble republic of warriors, and the Jedi more lax in their staunch tenets, the GRM looks poised to take up the reigns of the former Galactic Republic as a pillar of law and order among a warring galaxy. Only time will decide if the GRM is ready to take up that role, and if the past of the Mandalorians will end up dashing their plans across the stars.

GRM Civilian Assets

- Mandalorian Drive Yards -

In the last twenty years, one of the foremost achievements of the GRM has been the reformation of Mandal Hypernautics and Mandal Motors into the corporation known now as Mandalorian Drive Yards, or MDY. Built upon a foundation of old and trusted designs, as well as the stolen blueprints of KDY vessels, MDY has been able to make a name for itself and push itself into the top five starship producers by dint of sheer Mandalorian determination and Jedi ingenuity. MDY consists of three planetary rings divided into specialized docks for classes of vessels, with the outer and central rings producing vessels in the Main-Line and the inner ring producing the Second-Line vessels. Each ring typically consists of at least forty capital class docks, as well as an additional two-hundred cruiser class docks. Cruiser docks serve dual purposes in that not only do many of them construct cruiser-class vessels and below, but they are also capable of manufacturing the many starfighters that MDY has on file. Complementing the construction docks are numerous repair and rearming stations that orbit in proximity to the rings, serving as ports for returning patrol fleets. Within the Inner-Ring, MDY has constructed the same number of capital-class docks in addition to even larger docks capable of serving multiple capitals at once.

- Mandalorian Armaments -

Another company founded during the rise of Mand'alor the Paladin, Mandalorian Arms was created in order to satisfy the supply needs of the infantry of the GRM. Working off tried and true Blastech and Czerka designs, Mandalorian Arms has been supplying the Mandalorians and Clone troopers of the GRM with quality arms and armor for eighteen years, and is always looking towards new and innovative designs. As well as arms and armor, Mandalorian Arms is known to stray into battle-droid territory from time to time, with their most recent creation being the revival of an old Czerka assassin-droid into prototyping stages.

- Czerka Corporation -

Dredged up through old ties and various remnant organizations, Czerka Corporation and its assets were purchased by Clan Orkhota early in the foundation of the GRM, and then made part of the GRM's Industrial sector as a show of good faith and support of The Paladin. Based out of Concord Dawn, the company works closely with the more mercenary elements of the GRM, acting as a civil defense firm rather than the military arms company that they had previously acted as. While they do primarily specialize in small arms and utilities, Czerka has made movements into the battle-droid market with a few prototypes of old designs, namely the Hunter-Killer series Assassin-Droid with the assistance of Mandalorian Arms.

- Mandalorian Technical Research and Development -

Technically a division of MDY and MandArms, MTRD is a company exclusively created for the conceptualization and utilization of new technologies, as well as reverse-engineering old technologies. Because of their speciality, most of MTRD's actual work is highly classified, and a large portion of their work remains either uncredited or credited to other individuals and companies. Most notable of these false accreditations is the revival of Old Republic vessels such as the Hammerhead and Foray, as well as the reverse-engineering of the Tector, Imperator and Praetor Star Destroyers. In addition to starship design, MTRD is also the holder of many of the more interesting acquisitions of the GRM, such as the large cache of Stygium crystals the GRM received as payment for the cloning of a Systems Army for the Ishkar Syndicate. What exactly MTRD is doing with nearly 700 long tons of Stygium crystals is unknown, but more than a little worrying. Unlike the other assets of the GRM, no facility of MTRD is actually known of outside of GRM command elements, making it difficult to ascertain where it is that the company even operates in.

- The Jedi Enclaves -

Technically a non-military and non-governmental organization, the Jedi Enclaves consist of the assorted temples of the Jedi spread across GRM space and across all levels of GRM society. For the most part, the Enclaves work towards bolstering the civilian population's knowledge of less war-oriented employment, lending their hand towards building up and sustaining the GRM's growing society, though differences of opinion often times divide the Enclaves in their goal. With the dissolution of the old Jedi Code, the Enclaves operate across the broad spectrum of the force, with many staying within the gray area, but more than a fair few straying light or dark. One of the more telling changes of the Jedi is their allowance of personal feelings towards others, and their strict adherence to more passive solutions. In a way, it could be said that the Mandalorians influenced the Jedi just as much as the Jedi influenced the Mandalorians, especially with the view of darksiders as merely a political difference. Because of this, it is not all too uncommon to find both a light-side Jedi and a Dark-Jedi operating together within the GRM.

- Kaminoan Colonies -

Brought in alongside the Clones of the Ninth Systems Army, the Kaminoans were at first refugees sheltered from the wrath of the Empire, and then from potential CIS remnants eager to take advantage of the chaos of the coup. With the creation of the Grand Republic of Mandalore, the Kaminoans were ushered in as allies and key members of the new republic, their foremost contribution being that of clones eager to take up the tasks that Mandalorians themselves are not suited for. In addition to bolstering the economic base of the GRM with ready and willing laborers, the Kaminoans utilize their cloning facilities to produce clone armies for other factions who have the coin for their quality troops. Kaminoan cloning facilities are spread throughout GRM space and serve not only as cloning facilities, but also as colonies for the species. These structures are noted for their sprawling domes and spires of eerie white material, more often than not settled among the oceans of the GRM worlds they occupy.

- Tarisian Hypernautics -

Formed as a splinter company off of Mandalorian Drive Yards, Tarisian Hypernautics is in a way, the civilian branch of the GRM's shipbuilding industrial sector. While the company does not make many of the GRM designed vessels available for public sale, it is noted for its ability to turn out commissions in a timely fashion, as well as their large array of former CIS vessels available for construction.

GRM Military Assets

- The Death Watch -

With his coming into prominence and the founding of the Grand Republic, the Paladin knew that he would make a fair few enemies out of his desire to shift the Mandalorians into a noble warrior society. Foremost among these was the organization that had once been known as the Death Watch. Founded in savagery and the desire to bathe in the blood of the weak, the Death Watch was once a violent splinter faction that was all too eager to see the Mandalorians devolve back into savage raiders and barbarians. Taking careful steps to remove the more influential of the remnants, the Paladin orchestrated a series of events that would lead the Death Watch into a reorganization under his own command. His first move was to openly challenge their leader for right to rule, a challenge that no true Mandalorian could turn down and hope to keep the respect of his warriors. After taking the head of the former commander, the Paladin revised the tenets of the Death Watch into something more favorable, shifting them away from a simple raider-caste and utilizing their desire to return the Mandalorians to former glory to his advantage. He spoke at length with the remaining members of the Resol'nare and the old days, of how the clans had once been united as one single clan, and how the Mandalorians need only to look for themselves to provide for their kin. Soon after the Death Watch was sworn to the Paladin as the enforcers of the Mandalorian Way, those few who would do whatever it took to preserve the Mandalorian way of life.

The Grand Army of Mandalore

Foremost consisting of the Clone-Troopers and Jedi-Commanders, the military of the Grand Republic of Mandalore maintains nearly the same command structure as the former Grand Army of the Republic. A vast majority of the Clone-Troopers are equipped with the same equipment used throughout the Clone-Wars, though they have been supplemented with the addition of the ability to produce the Mandalorian Neo-Crusader armor. The Navy of the GRM also follows suit with that of the GAR, as much of the equipment previously made by Kuat Drive-Yards has been replicated by the Mandalorian Drive-Yards. Specialist divisions and High-Command usually consist of True-Mandalorians, though the purpose-bred Clone-Commanders still hold many positions of authority within the Grand Army of the Mandalorian Republic. The most important positions the True-Mandalorians hold is that of the Training-Supervisors for the new generations of Clones that will form the bulk of the GRM infantry forces, and one day become full-fledged Mandalorians.

Bes'uliik Bes'bavar - The Basilisk War-Droid cavalry consisting of True-Mandalorians who have proven themselves in battle, only a handful of Mandalorians can claim this honor, and no Clone-Troopers have yet taken on a Bes'uliik.
Bes'uliik Bes'kyr'Jetii - The Iron-Death Jedi, a select few Jedi who have embraced fully the Mandalorian ways of war. These individuals typically lead the Systems Armies, though it is not unknown for them to come together as a cohesive unit during Basilisk Assaults.

All military technology utilized by the GRM is that of the Grand Army of the Republic, with the only deviations being that of Mandalorian technology. Phase I Clone-Trooper armor is in widespread use, as well as the Mandalorian Neo-Crusader armor. MDY manufactures all of the starships of the GRM, as well as Basilisk War-Droids, and their subsidiaries manufacturing armor and weapons.

Capital Ships

Venator-I
The Venator I class of Star Destroyers is perhaps the most well known and heavily used warship of the GRM Navy. Originally utilized by the Ninth Systems Army which served the Republic with honor, the Venator was adopted readily into the GRM and served the roles it was needed for with outstanding service. Over the years, multiple variants of the Venator I have been developed, all in an effort to keep the image of the GRM Navy present and boost the morale of the troops. Foremost among these is the Type 1 Venator, seen as a modernization of the chassis to pick up a few of the aging components and replace them with more effective advancements. One such advancement is the use of Tarisian Hypernautics' new Capital-Class Ion Drive, which is 10% more energy efficient than the previous model allowing this Venator to utilize its engines to greater effect and gain further maneuverability on the battlefield. Following on the Type 1, is the Type 2 Heavy Support variant, which removes much of the fighter complement in favor of increased firepower to make it more of a fire-support vessel like it's fellow Star Destroyer the Imperial I with the added benefits of the Type 1's superior engines. Moving to the other end of the spectrum, the Type 3 increases the carrying capacity of the Mark I Venator to be able to hold almost 700 strike craft. To compensate for the decreased firepower of the Type 3, engineers have made standard the addition of SPHA emplacements in the hangar areas, so as to be able to fire upon vessels attempting to enter or fire upon the open hangar. The Type 3 is also the most heavily shielded variant, dedicating the energy that would normally be powering turbolaser batteries to the large enhanced shield generator installed. These improvements to the base Venator I have made it a competent and feared rival on the space-lanes, a position that the GRM is all too proud of.

Kandosii Dreadnaught
Brought up from the ancient days of the Mandalorian Crusaders, the Kandosii Dreadnaught is a modern recreation of the devastating capital ship which ravaged Old Republic fleets back during the crusades. Built foremost as a form of Assault Ship, the Kandosii's design lends itself well to hard-hitting assaults with its aggressive armament and heavy armoring. One of the changes to the vessel was primarily the drive component, once again Tarisian Hypernautics took up the role of supplying this, and with the new Ion Drive, the Kandosii is much more capable than its previous iteration. Additionally, advancements in armor and shielding has allowed MDY to expand the hangar bays without loss of armor, and enables the Kandosii to carry up to 300 fightercraft, rather than the original 128. Unfortunately, despite a new and improved hyperdrive system, the Kandosii's design still leaves it prone to having it's hyperdrive crippled by well place strikes, a trait which has baffled and infuriated MDY engineers to no end. Despite this, the vessel is still a very capable attack-vessel, and even more so when it has the support of a fleet to back up its aggressive assaults.

Inexpugnable Tactical Command Ship
A dedicated support vessel, the reprised Inexpugnable Tactical Command Ship acts as a command and control vessel, coordinating the actions of entire battle fleets through advanced logistical computers that further improve the Old Republic's revolutionary Vanjervalis Chain method. Using this method a single Inexpugnable can command up to thirty Capital class vessels and nearly a hundred cruisers at once, making it a deadly adversary for its strategic value alone. Because of this, these vessels are often crewed by the higher ranking naval officers and cadres of True Mandalorian troopers, a nasty surprise for those looking to board the vessel. Armaments wise, the vessel is only relatively more armed than the standard cruiser, somewhat of a design flaw for a vessel of its size, but it makes up for its lack of firepower with more than capable shielding and capital-class armoring. The vessel also boasts the latest in Tarisan Hypernautics' Ion Drives, as well as a backup hyperdrive in case the primary is damaged or inoperable. While it may not have the immediate firepower to contend with fellow capital ships or Star Destroyers, the Inexpugnable does have a complement of fighter craft capable of fending off attacking vessels.

Imperial-I Star Destroyer
Relatively unchanged from original designs, the Imperial I serves a bit of a back-burner role, more of a PDF vessel than an actual vessel of the Fleets so to speak. This has lead to a somewhat interesting paradigm shift when looking at ISD crews of the GRM and Imperial Remnants. While it can be said that it's a pretty significant thing to be a crewman or captain of an ISD in the Remnants, in the GRM it has generally been considered the downturn of one's career, where a captain has been relegated to "Babysitting" planets. This leads to a rather vicious and uncompromising attitude from such captains, and has resulted in a number of situations where a GRM ISD has utilized far beyond excessive force to deal with potential issues, and has seen more than a few captains lose their bars after a tour of ISD duty.

Tector-class Star Destroyer
Another more recent addition to the fleets, the Tector is a vessel which while it does have significant firepower and armor, is unable to act independently due to its lack of starfighters. This has led to the vessel being in a bit of an interesting predicament, as while the captains of these vessels petition for it to remain in active fleet rotation, the inability to operate on its own as led many of the Senate to feel that the vessel should be relegated to defensive duties with the ISD-I. For now, the Tector remains an active participant of GRM Patrol Fleets, but the future is uncertain for this class of vessels.

Victory I Star Destroyer
Like the ISD-I, the Victory I has not changed in its design since the end of the Clone Wars, and like its fellow vessel, it has also been one of the vessels constructed to dedicated defensive duties. Unlike the ISD-I, however, the Victory still has operational effectiveness compared to it's fellow pre-GRM vessels. The reason for this is the tendency for the vessel's shortcomings to be offset by operating in wolf-packs, something which while the ISD-I is more than capable of doing is far more organic to the size and firepower of the Victory I.

Victory II Star Destroyer
Despite technically being a subclass of the Victory I, the Victory II's refitment enables it to pass the GRNA's requirements for active patrol duty with the rest of the GRM fleet. This is primarily due to the inclusion of a more varied and effective armament than its predecessor, as well as the improved ion drives, making it faster and more capable of taking out enemy vessels than the Victory I. Like the Victory I, the vessel tends to operate in wolf-packs of three to five such vessels, making a run-in with one of these GRM Patrol Fleets a rather unfortunate scenario indeed.

Appearance: A new, shining droid, equipped with state of the art technology to be effective in combat. He has the letters/numbers D-1 painted on his left shoulder, this is his designation number, which is to be repainted routinely. Delta-1, sometimes referred to as D-1 or simply 1, stands at 6'4 and retains some aspects of the BX commando droid model, though these are mostly only aesthetic. Upon changing vision mode, his eyes change colour. In normal and tactical modes they are lit in a normal white style. In Low light vision they glow green, Thermal vision they glow a blueish red and in infrared they glow a pure red. However, should infiltration mode be enabled, then the eyes will not glow, this comes at the cost of a reduced vision range which shows only in black and white, only useful if the model is in a dark area and expect to be looked at. Brief History: Delta 1 was rigerously tested for the first four weeks of his activation. The culmination of years of work, Delta One lived up to the expectations of Phar-Genix, and the series was put into production. Delta One, as the longest living droid, was designated the 'Prime'. He is used almost exclusively for protecting Keiran Phar and Gail Genix, as well as missions requiring his level of expertise. Delta Ones hugely restricted first days and subsequent release into the large and overwhelming galaxy has left him with a systematical approach with few emotions, though that is expected to change as he experiences the galaxy. Should his emotion stray to far, he has a viral termination code in his primary memory core which he knows nothing about (Or he does, and has removed it, simply having the tact not to mention it) which can be activated at any time.

Military and Civilian Assets:
Telos IV: Telos IV, often called simply Telos, was the fourth world within the Telos system, located in the Outer Rim Kwymar sector. Given that it is situated on the strategically-important Hydian Way hyperlane, thus giving it an economic power base, it was somewhat inevitable that Corporations such as Phar-Genix would wish to exploit it. The Phar-Genix corporation used White Baton to instigate a Coup and install a puppet Government. While at a glance it appears the Government is running the planet, behind that facade the Phar-Genix corporation is pulling the strings
Bonadan: Corporations quite literally own Bonadan due to the brutal and tyrannical corporatocracy known as the Corporate Sector Authority. Phar-Genix owns the largest percentage of the world and effectively own the planet. In deals with the Corporate Sector Authority, White Baton Security was installed as the planets police force.
Phar-Genix Munitions: Phar-Genix Munitions was the original company famed for producing weapons and equipment. It supplies White Baton with it's Energy Batons, Blaster weaponry and other equipment.
White Baton Security: White Baton Security was originally formed mostly out of Thugs looking to make some credits. As Phar-Genix grew and became better known, these hired thugs became a threat to the companies image. As such, they were fired and replaced. At the current time, White Baton is a Paramilitary force that not only holds contracts in personal, corporate and sometimes planetary security, but also serves as the muscle of Phar-Genix. White Baton Security has massive numbers and numerous contracts throughout the entire galaxy. White Baton has come to be known as Phar-Genix private army and rivals the power of some official armies, making wide use of Phar-Genix equipment, droids and ships. There are rumors that White Baton Security has shady underworld dealings and that Phar-Genix hires out White Baton Security and Assassin Droids if a client is willing to pay a price. Phar-Genix has denied these claims. While White Baton does have some standard issue equipment, the majority of their equipment has been brought over time, meaning that their fleets can look non-uniform. Land forces, on the other hand, possess a much more uniform structure. They use Phar-Genix produced security battle armour, Phar-Genix produced Energy Batons, Phar-Genix produced heavy blaster pistols. The standard issue weapon for Sergeants and above is the Phar-Genix Elite Blaster rifle, while Standard Issue weaponry for those below Sergeant is a modified KX60 Blaster Rifle.
Gentik: Gentik specialises in Computer Systems manufacturing and creating advanced Droid Brains. Under Phar-Genix it has exceeded it's previous levels after several successful droid ranges. Along with it's work creating Phar-Genix droids, it is lesser known for it's equally profitable holocron and terminal productions. It's Computer Systems are incorporated into ships created by Phar-Genix ship yards
Compart Corporation: Compart Corporation is the main powerhouse of Phar-Genix. It mass produces the bodies for Droids and the parts required for creating the ships in the Phar-Genix ship yards.
Phar-Genix Ship Yards: Phar-Genix shipyards makes a variety of craft ranging from Fighters to Battleships. Craft can be custom made should the client be willing to pay the additional prices, and they have many different ranges and supply several factions throughout the galaxy.

Brief History: Phar-Genix Was set up part way through the Clone Wars, originally entering a crowded market and failing to win contracts for the Republic in spite of their best efforts as the Republic was not interested in the weapons presented to them. Towards the end of the Clone Wars Phar-Genix were on the verge of collapse after failing to enter the market.
But following the Clone Wars, the Empire started a process of stabilization and expansion of the economy. While the Imperial Period saw some increases in state control and centralization of economic procedures, it had little effect on the galactic economy, as witnessed in the virtual non-existence of inflation. The Empire did nationalize some corporate entities, though such actions were mainly reserved for those companies that were part of or supported the Confederacy of Independent Systems, and later those who favored and aided the Rebellion. The Empire did assume direct control over some of the spoils of war from the Separatists, but most of the assets were given over to loyalist companies, and Phar-Genix was counted among these, finally allowing it to enter the market properly.
By the time of the Gentis Coup, it had bounced back from the verge of collapse at the end of the Clone Wars and in less than a year became a profitable, if small, company. After the Gentis Coup, there was a sudden rise in demand for weaponry as Chaos reigned and the company made huge profits selling to many sides of the conflicts. They expanded rapidly, and acquired Gentik, a company specialised in Computer Systems manufacturing. This lead to the first line of Phar-Genix Battle droids. The Droids programming was above average, but product testing showed the designs of the bodies to be heavily flawed, and as such the droids bodies were quickly scrapped and the Droid brains sold off separately.
Phar-Genix founded a Security Service known as White Baton Security, after the white Energy Batons used by it's members. Many security personnel employed by Phar-Genix were recruited into White Baton Security, with others released as the contracts fell through. White Baton Security drew it's other, less respectable recruits, from street thugs looking to make some credits.
Phar-Genix expanded into Star Ship Manufacturing, creating a company called 'Phar-Genix Shipyards', shortly after the formation of White Baton Security. Phar-Genix Shipyards originally specialised in production of fighter and bomber craft.
Four years later Phar-Genix proceeded to acquire Compart Corporation, a company which mass-produced various types of droid circuitry and components. With the ability to mass produce the parts required, Phar-Genix produced a second line of Battle Droids. This was the first line commercially available (At least legally). With an upgrade to the Droid Brain from the original model, as well as now properly produced bodies, they became commercially successful to some degree.

Vengence Class Frigate: A Frigate Class ship that is renowned for it's cost-effectiveness and reliability (Unlike it's smaller cousin, the Vengence Class fighter), the Vengence Class Frigate has become used widely by pirates for it's relatively cheap pricing and surprising speed. It is also used by White Baton for system security and es courting transports
Exalted Class Destroyer: A highly expensive ship, but well worth the asking price. Quick and deadly, though relatively small compared to other counter parts. Despite this, it has turned a large profit in the market for Phar-Genix, and like the Frigate, is used by White Baton for escorting transports
Vengence Class Fighter Bomber: Perhaps one of the biggest flops of Phar-Genix as a whole. It was over priced and unreliable, with poor maneuverability and sub-par weaponry. The product was quickly retired after just a year of service and replaced by the far superior Phar Genix I92 Fighter Bomber. Despite this, it has limited usage within White Baton, and has been sold on the Black Market (Mostly to unsuspecting individuals who believe they are buying the more reliable I92 Fighter Bomber due to aesthetic similarities)

Gamma Battle Droid Series Model Two: The second variant of the mainline battle droid produced, sold and used by Phar-Genix. It is more expensive to produce, but stronger with better armour, more advanced systems and even a built in electrical stun system.
Phar-Genix Standard Battle Armour: The Standard Security armour used by White Baton. It is durable, light and contains air filters as well as a limited HUD system, mostly providing limited tactical information. It could also be pressurised to allow White Baton to work in Vacuums, though this function is rarely used
Phar-Genix Exalt Battle Armour: The Elite Security armour used by White Baton, retaining the functions of it's predecessor and more. Delta Commando Droid Series: The Delta Commando droid is Phar-Genix experimental Commando droid, designed to replace it's Assassin droid. The Delta Series incorporates light sabre resistance materials such as Beskar into it's design, as well as a wide range of equipment. It is a highly deadly, effective and versatile droid, but costs the upkeep of an entire White Baton detachment for a month simply to produce
Gauntlet Vibroblade, Mounted on the right under arm, this is occasionally used for close combat fighting but is mostly used for quick kills
Wrist mounted Blaster, Mounted on the right arm, above the right hand. This blaster fires powerful blaster shots at their opponents, but has limited fire rate, making it used more as a secondary weapon
Wrist mounted launcher, mounted on the left arm, above the left hand. It is also capable of firing poisoned darts and a grappling hook
Primary memory core: The memory core is very complex, the droid is designed to pick up skills along the way via observing or doing an action. This has the side effect of possibly developing a 'personality' based on what they see and hear. As such, the Droid has an ability to adapt that is beyond most other droids. Unfortunately, this increases the possibility of the droid betraying it's creators should it decide that one function supersedes the other. The Solution was the implementation of a secondary memory core which will be activated when the primary core is disabled. The secondary memory core is programmed to be a combat droid and the creativity of it's primary counter-part.
Beskar laced structure: Light saber resistant materials are laced into the droids primary structure materials giving a resistance against lightsabers and thus evening the playing field against Jedi.
Magnetised feet and hands: The droid has magnetised feet and hands for use in zero gravity operations, as well as walking along metallic surfaces. The Delta series are known to use this for infiltration
Thruster pack: The delta series have built in thruster packs for zero gravity infiltration as well as traversing terrain and heights. It's often used to give the droid a quick escape if outmatched
Computer spike and security spike: A computer and security spike is mounted on the left under arm and is useful for opening locks and hacking into computer terminals, after which any required information would be copied to the Droid
Upgraded Commando personal shield: A personnel shield that provides additional protection for the droid, but like most personal shields, collapses when under constant damage. As such, it essentially provides a mere defensive boost
Vocal Mimicker: The Delta series has a vocal mimicker akin to that used in the old BX series Commando Droids, which they occassionally use to trick their opponents into believing they are allied

Omega is correct, the Eclipse was ordered by 0 BBY/ABY, and do remember that Palpatine is the one who ordered it, but since he's dead, and there's no Galactic Empire in the galaxy to direct it's construction or can even pay for it. It does not exist in this setting. Same goes for SSD's like the Executor-class, it did not exist twenty years ago and would relatively be new and just stating in the setting. I'm sorry, but you're going to have to do some rewriting.
