I've been thinking that if this goes well, I may open it up on a much larger scale. Let rival pirate crews start up. Let the marines structure themselves with each other. I could even get a forum hosted to keep it all organized. Im feeling ambitious right now. But how does that sound to everyone.

Aw, I liked the one crew versus marines. In my experiences, larger groups make chaotic rps. But again, just my own opinion.

I like that idea. Also I trying to think about an how my marine encounters the crew.

I do think it may be hard but really cool and sweet to fight against a rival ship, sounds so interesting

This wouldnt happen for a while and we could always group up for adventures anytime :D

Edit: I could also just start up the forum completely separate from this and invite all those who are interested. Which is quite a few I might add.

Boss would rather go shirtless though when in the presence of admirals or above he minds to show some respect wearing a pink collared shirt. He's a fan of the Crimin' clothing line sporting blue fitted jeans with turquoise Crimin' stars dotted all over the pants. His shoes are quite simple wearing white slip ons. To show his status as a marine he wears his hat over his short dreads.

Bio:
Boss was born to the sea. On the ship of his pirate family. His father and mother were known as the "Death Dealing Hearts" a fearsome combination of a swordsman and female gunslinger. The Hearts met their end in a battle with a fleet of Marines. His two older brothers were forced to rot inside of Impel Down. Boss knew nothing of his family, taken from the sinking ship by the marines. He was soon "adopted" by an elderly retired marine; Gozu on Dawn Island where he would spend most of his years.

Boss' first goal in life was to sail the seas as a pirate, though constant drilling and molding by his "father" swayed his career choice towards justice. Gozu trained Boss in combat, allowing the child to form his own way. Eventually to Gozu's fear Boss adopted both traits from his genetic parents, doing a pistol and a wakazishi. Though this small bump in Gozu's teaching seem to not take effect on his son's future.

At the age of 16 Boss enlisted in the marines. At a lower rank he was constantly referralled due to his actions baring resemblances to piracy. His carefree and rule breaking tendencies eventually gave him a bad reputation on both sides of the fence. Fellow marines hated his way of conducting himself and constant dress code violations. Pirates labeled him as a pirate on government payroll. Recently after his latest promotion he'd been assigned under the well known Red Lightning to track down a interfering pirate and crew. What lies ahead is unknown......

Equipment:
A golden prototype pistol and a golden bladed wakizashi with a red hilt. Due to the complexity in crafting the bullets he only has 6 sea stone bullets, though plenty of standard ammunition.

Abilities(Fighting Abilities):
Death Dealing- Boss employs a pistol and wakizashi on combat allowing him to fight at long range and short range. He switches quickly between the two. This fighting style allows for combat in large groups. His swordlay relies on quick and swift movements and transactions between pistol and sword. He takes a freestyle form.

Unique Skills:
Boss spends alot of his time smoking and and reading. He has recorded over 1,000 books read. This has given him the knowledge of many different subjects. When praised by his superiors he often states "I know a little about alot". He also has some knowledge on plants, though only inhalant ones.

Weaknesses:
I the growing pirate age Boss is left without a devil fruit. He also relies heavily on his weapons though better then the average in hand to hand; a trained combatant would surely get the best of him.

Other:
Boss has a companion monkey named Levi. Levi has been with Boss since birth. At times Levi could be a weakness or advantage in a battle. Levi does not and will not eat bananas. Unknowingly to many Levi understands human those plays dumb to everyone for reasons of his own. Levi has eaten the Mushi Mushi No Mi (Snail Snail) allowing him to act as a living Den Den Mushi. This allows Levi to send, intercept and receive transmission. When receiving just like normal Den Den Mushi his facial expression matches those on the sending end.

All I see is that he is recently been given to you as your lieutenant. So a Smoker/Tashigi type deal perhaps? They also could have asigned him to you because, while dserving of his promotion, they question his attitude in the field the way he mentioned in his history. And he was specifically assigned to you because of your reputation they believe that you can control him and hopefully teach him as a marine? Or you could have requested he join your crew for that same purpose?

He'd be freshly assigned to Red Lightnings unit. Only the higher ups know of his pirate heritage so he wouldn't be aware of such a thing. Somewhat complete strangers, seeing how your his command/superior you should have received a file from his previous marine base (South Blue) on your new underling. It'll be like a Tashigi and Smoker type thing, though Boss won't be as obedient and weak. But he'll be by your side at all times taking orders (those himself deems relevant) and kicking pirate ass.

I go with the idea as well, heck I could have Ricden tech him Armament: Hardening.
