Name:
Henrietta “Henry” Abney
Age:
26
Gender:
Female
Weapons:
She has throwing knives.

Personality:
Henry is a hotheaded woman who refuses to be treated unequally. She is a big feminist and hates unfair treatment regarding anyone based on gender, race, sexuality, etc. She is straightforward and is not afraid to speak her mind, even if it hurts others, and is majorly sarcastic. She is a perfectionist, as well as a workaholic, and must have everything the way she likes it. Henry is not afraid to question authority, might even jump at the chance, but in the end, she is loyal to the extremes and will lay down her life for her teammates.
Bio:
Henry is the daughter of a reporter and an author, but that is not what got her into the supernatural. Her grandfather, Henry – which she was named after – was obsessed with the supernatural and was convinced that his wife was trying to contact him as a ghost. Growing up, Henrietta had become submerged in her grandfather’s stories and they became extremely close. They bonded over the supernatural possibilities as they were both enamored with the idea of a world they couldn’t grasp. When Henrietta grew older, however, she began to believe in her grandfather’s fairytales less and less until finally she refused to talk about it. The two had grown apart; Henrietta was now a teenager who was busy with life, while Henry was rotting away in his home, retired and lonely. Henry died when Henrietta was sixteen. The doctors say it was of a heart attack, but Henrietta was traumatized by his death and felt such an immense disbelief, that she began to believe that something of the supernatural did it. There was no proof of such things, but that didn’t stop Henrietta from looking. Henrietta even adopted her grandfather’s name, Henry, as a shortened version of her own in remembrance of him. Her parents began sending her to grief counseling, therapy, anything that would get rid of her delusions. Henry stuck by her theory, she delved into the supernatural world and no one was ever able to get her out.
Other:
She has a sweet-tooth.

So, I adore girls having guy names by the way. Though, I only like it if it's short for a feminine name. Anyways, I was thinking Henry would have premonition? Does this sound alright? And is my character okay?

Hey, yo, a feminist character! Excellent.

It's past midnight here. I'm heading to bed, but I'll get to work on the rest of my CS first thing tomorrow.

edit: As for premonition, I'm cool with it, personally. It can be a bit of a gamebreaker in some cases, but I've always enjoyed finding ways to steer my character towards making another character's visions come true.

I'm actually going to have to say no on this one. Sorry mate, but you could be a shape shifter of some sort or werewolf or vampire.

If your planning on being a dark magic mage in the modern times then by all means go for it.

Okay, charsheet is ready. Still need to get myself a picture—I'll work on that.

Name: Finnegan Witt
Age: 46
Gender: Male
Weapons: A regular Glock 19. 15 rounds a mag, 9mm, silver bullets.
Appearance:

Standing just below six feet tall, Finnegan isn't a particularly imposing sight. His wrinkles are deeper than you'd expect and his hair is completely grey, making him look older than his forty-six years.

Personality: Bitter and sarcastic. Seems the sarcasm comes with the job. While he'll often speak to and treat the others like they're a bunch of youngsters, he knows they're his equals. He's happy to be on the team.
Bio: "It's something of a bloody cliché, isn't it? An Irish priest who stopped believing in God and began playing with the dark arts and who's a little too fond of whiskey.

"I still believe in Him, mind you. I've just realized that whatever He's doing up there, he's not terribly concerned with what's going on here on Earth. Ghosts, spirits, they answer when you call.

"I always knew I wanted to be a priest. Felt the calling ever since I was a lad. Some years ago, I began to see things. Hear voices. Naturally, I was diagnosed with all sorts of issues. But in the end, I realised the things were real. From beyond the veil. 'Course, people don't take kindly to a reverend preaching about ghosts. If I hadn't left Ireland myself I'd've been run out. It's hard telling people to believe in a God who doesn't care about His children. Perhaps it's for the better. I do good here."
Other: Something of a computer wiz.

Well, she mostly uses elemental magic. Fireballs and the like. Here's her sheet, let me know if I need to edit it any.

Name: Cassandra Romano
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Weapons: Magic. Specializes in elemental and offensive magic. Can use voodoo and some black magic, but is far less skilled in those areas. Carries a small handgun loaded with silver bullets for an emergency, but she's an extremely poor shot and inexperienced with a gun. Sometimes carries an electronic book device of filled with occult books with her for reference.
Appearance:
Cassandra often wears a black hoodie jacket and uses it to cover as much of her face as she can when in a large crowd of people she doesn't know.
Personality: Cassandra is shy and prefers to study magic over interacting with others. She often ducks behind other people that she trusts if a stranger talks to her or she is feeling crowded. Cassandra is gifted in the studies of elemental magic, and is frustrated when she fails at other types of magic. She is scared of brutish and loud people, and as such normally hides if any government agents talk to her. If someone manages to make her angry, then she loses control of her powers, often times ending her 'tantrum' in flames or complete destruction. Cassandra is very kind, often times wondering if there's any way to rehabilitate the monsters that the task force often fight. She is ironically decent with computers, given her history.
Bio: At birth, Cassandra had garnered the attention of a secret cult consisting of the well-off or the higher echelons of society. Namely, a mysterious fire broke out in the nursery and could only be out out when Cassandra had stopped crying. She was soon stolen out of the nursery and given to the cult's head member, Casio Romano. It was widely accepted by the average citizen that she was his daughter, and by the cultists, a Demi-god sent by The Lord himself. When she was ten, Cassandra witnessed her cultist family be slaughtered by a rival cult. When she was discovered, the rival cult trained her and forced her to do their dirty work. For years was subjected to treatment like an animal, beaten when obstinate, and expected to be silent. Cassandra was subjected to the rival cult for ten years, often times enhancing her powers for elemental magic. Until the day she fulfilled a mission perfectly and was told that she failed. She was beaten near to death, and before passing out vowed to strike down her 'owners'. When she awoke, the building was merely a cinder with her in the middle with charred clothes. She was offered a spot on the task force, provided that she cooperate and never lash out like she had with the cult. Cassandra immediately agreed, and soon set to work trying to enhance her powers beyond elemental, to thank the group for saving her from what she later realized was an abusive 'home'.
Other: Cassandra is a quick reader, she goes through medium sized (~200 pages) books in a couple days.

Just a side note to my character. Max likes to curse in an almost comedic way. Just thought I'd share that bit of info.

Lol, I think I already found out. Ah! So I need personal opinions on this:
I can't decide what I want her "power" to be. Astral projection, premonition, or pyrokinesis? Those are my top three...or should I just discard them and find something else?

I still think premonition would be fun, but nobody's saying Henry can't do both premonitions and astral projections, I guess. Having visions all the time could potentially be pretty disruptive to the RP.

She wouldn't have them all the time...and I guess they would be pretty hard to write, since I myself don't know what will happen in the future.

Exactly, so it might be nice to have some other kind of magic to fall back on between visions.

You could do totally vague visions like seeing a man standing over a lifeless body with a sword or something. I'd be up for making your visions happen ^_^

Are you suggesting you would die for my visions or kill someone for my visions? Either suits me fine XD

Well, we'll have to see what Antman thinks about it ^_^

RainDash that sounds good. Only thing is it sounds a bit too fantasy themed so if you could modernize it just a touch more that'd be great. Other than that your character sounds pretty cool.
