Since Cole was interacting with Acacia the most, she kinda dragged him to the dunk tank when she decided to dunk Brenden. Media, if it's alright with you, Saul and Jacob could be further talking it out a few hours prior to the school day starting. I imagine Saul wouldn't have said anything about Jacob being high until they had more privacy... lolol.
