---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Fran Meilleur - Head Priestess of the Helsann Avery Church, and currently the only resident soul in the city possessing of a power that can fend of Stitchenstein's monstrosities without fear of death. In this sense she is quite alone in the city and horrendously tired, though her will to protect persists throughout the nights. Fran is an expert of holy arts, capable of banishing the dead with ease, as well as healing allies. However, due to the foreign nature of the living dead she is forced to deal with, her magic alone is not enough.

Stitchenstein - Boss NPC generated two months ago during the Agar Mythos Halloween update. Hailing from the infant city of Rena Te Ra, Stitchenstein is amongst many boss NPC's created to wander the world of Agar Mythos and wreak havoc. He has since settled, presumably, in a forest outside the city of Helsann, where he conducts never-ending experiments on the dead. Stitchenstein is a master of the arcane art of necromancy, and fuses haggard technology with his servants to create strange fusions of dead flesh and machine.

Champion Reilcall - Notable champion created by the Mages of the East company and suited to flashy, cinematic missions. Reilcall has found himself in the Champ Top 20 listings for three months in a row, likely spurred on by those fans of the company as well as the very young audience he attracts. Despite being a gruff, loud-mouthed, and fairly oblivious individual, Reilcall displays a genuine characteristic of friendliness and kindness.

"Sprite" - It is unknown if Sprite is a champion or an NPC, but what is known about this fleeting individual is that he has targeted very specific individuals for an unknown cause. What's more, defeating these champions and NPC's universally wipes their memory utterly and completely. The trouble this causes has earned a large number of "Most Wanted's", though so far he has yet to be captured or interrogated.

Phi-Delphia - A strange, quiet, and unemotional entity placed in Agar Mythos by real-world scientists to conduct some sort of unknown experiment. She is possessing of a "universal effect" that as of yet means very little to anyone outside the program's developmental loop.

"Box Man" - As of yet unnamed, this individual carried with him an "unscannable" box that needs delivering into the Aurora worldmap. Very little is known about him, save for the fact that he is also an AI.

Princess Manabusa - Monarch of the Auroran Planetoid known as Nihon, Manabusa is a well-known NPC who leads the armies of Nihon and its voted champion mercenaries during the Auroran battle seasons.

Ulysses HAMMERJUSTICE, The Fire Titan.

Age

Roughly two months old.

Personality

Ulysses is an odd man. He embodies destruction, and revels in the pleasure of destroying everything around him. Yet, he is relatively easy to get along with. He is kind, protective, courageous, even heroic. Always the positive sort, he generally has an upbeat (one could even say jolly) attitude about most things, and rarely gets angry. Even when angered, he doesn't seem too different. He isn't the smartest of men, and he is quite stubborn, which has gotten him a few losses in the past. He is slow to accept change, often refusing to acknowledge the facts and paying because of it. He can be thought of as a bit of a joker, often going to infuriating lengths to deny his opponent victory in vain, for the express purpose of annoying them. He is however, deathly afraid of water or cold, and will do everything he can to avoid it.

The Jackal Knight

Epitaph for Boletaria

Name: Theow

Age: One of the first Champions created for and operated by a Corporation. He's been around for quite a bit of time.

Personality: Theow is as much of a public figure for the Corporation that keeps his servers running as their own Board of Directors and as such he spends most of his time in public showing off and drawing attention to himself through his actions. To bystanders and younger Champions Theow comes off as friendly and approachable, always willing to lend a hand, offer advice, trade items or just stop for a chat, making him one of the most popular and well recognized Champions on Agar Mythos. Of course this has also made him one of the most criticized and, in certain circles, despised. While the number of people who held such views were smaller a year ago their numbers have grown substantially recently, even among those who once sang his praises.

The knowledge that there are a growing number of people who view him as an outdated cliche best left to wither and die off in some unseen corner of the virtual world has taken it's toll on Theow, though he does little to show it to the public. Where once he was as cheery and lighthearted in private as he was to the public masses Theow's mood has turned sour and grim. Rarely accepting visitors anymore Theow has turned to venting his frustrations through violence, oftentimes flying into fits of rage in the privacy of his own dwellings and reducing the contents therein to little more than splinters and shards. This of course does little to alleviate his growing anxiety and serves only to send him deeper into a spiral of hate.

The Archivor Ever-Present
Age: Is one of the first AIs to ever wander the landscape of Agar Mythos
Personality: Averus, despite his youthful appearance, considers himself an ancient amongst AIs in Agar Mythos. Having developed quite a liking towards calling other people 'children' and 'kiddies', even though they may appear to be gigantic behemoths of raw, overpowered strength or wizards with ten-foot long beards, he's an experienced, if not slightly irritating person. He likes to quote things that no one in that day and age even cares about, and is pointlessly enamoured with children's card games, to the extent where he single-handedly founded an association between card-game fans in Agar Mythos. Always keeping a calm tone outside of his hobbies, and rarely showing his anger, depending on the person you ask, he's either a calm and collected AI, or one with a dysfunctional emotion simulation program. Regardless, he doesn't care what humans think. He also doesn't seem to care about personal space, though, nor does he consider questions about someone's personal history is something that should be avoided until they were closer to each other.

Ultimately, an old man in an adolescent's body, who has a fascination with the pasts of others, enjoys quoting things from 50 years ago, and plays children's card games.

Koemi, Siren of the Choiring Swarm
♪~ Here's a theme. ~♫
Age: Two-Years Old

Personality:
Koemi gives off a somber aura, her eyes seeming to always stare to the floor below and her lips rarely moving only to break her silence with drudged sighs. Her pace is eerie slow and seemingly directionless, although this facade is not intentional, people are often quiet when they are focused and Koemi is almost always focused on her surroundings. Truthfully she is a high-spirited and dedicated individual who dislikes silence and is in a constant quest for something to do. She's a busybody, she's helpful, and when her attention is given to an individual the somber aura breaks and shifts into a warm motherly vibe.
~
There is another part to her however. If you come across to Koemi with ill-intent, and the lament of ravens is heard nearby? The girl will seem to change entirely for the worse- her calm scarlet eyes setting upon you, and her stillness would seem more threatening than sad. When in combat, an amount of constraint can be seen within her, making forgiving choices like landing a crippling blow rather than a lethal one. However should she be pushed too far, this forgiveness is easily dispelled.
~
Ultimately, Koemi is a bit of an enigma holding many different personas at once.

Origin Myth:
Alone in a silent, tasteless, white void, a large family searched endlessly for somewhere to call home. They were unable to navigate, and unable to communicate in this endeavor, so for a great amount of time the family would constantly grow smaller as a member or two would get lost in the void and break from the flock. Soon there were only two members of the family left, a female, and a young male who had followed her closely the entire time. It was the closest thing to a bond this family had known, she had become a mother, and he her son in a way. The two tirelessly continued until something changed in the still world, shapes were beginning to form, the first sounds could be heard, the blank existence in which they lived was coming to an end as the world was finally being born.
~
But before the ground beneath them had gained it's solid state, the young male of the family's astonishment caused him to look away from the female for just a moment. He was no longer near her, and sight of one another was no longer possible. While she took her first step into the newly created world- he was destined to be left behind. But order, and reason, and love, had all now existed, and the universe seemed to take pity on this broken family. The young one was able to enter the mortal plane along with his loved one, though not in the same form as her. And while she was able to directly connect with this world, he was able to guide the lost members of the family, gathering them to the girl whom could properly give them a home.
~
So here stands a woman clad in black, and around her the ravens whom she calls kin.

Abilities:

Resonance Remnants -
Koemi's swarm is capable of firing razor-like feathers towards an aimed location, upon command they can also release a harmonious tone at the blanketed location causing the feathers to detonate releasing smaller fragments. Additionally the area decorated with this ability also becomes an environmental hazard, sharp feathers now being littered across the battlefield are capable of poking barefoot enemies' feet..

Assimilate Assembly -
Koemi's voice being the conductor of the swarm, is able to match the tone of a single bird at a time amplifying the destructive power of it's own cry. While under the effect of Assimilate Assembly, Koemi is immobile and must devote all attention to the bird she is empowering, nonetheless, this bird's shrill call is able to unleash devastating waves of sound upon the area it is attacking while the remaining flock are free to defend Koemi.

Curtain Call -
Koemi calls the swarm to her, during this time they fly at fast pace encircling her at high speed while releasing a low frequency sound outside of their spinning formation. The sound deters small projectiles while the birds viciously defend melee attacks during this time, Koemi's movement is greatly hindered while this is active.
Equipment:

Mourning Bombazine -
The lovely dress Koemi dons lavishly. It's super stylish, comfortable, and also holds the mystical property of being able to house all of her ravens. Except Pitch, who's perched on her shoulders most of the time.

Pitch, The Cantor -
This lovely bird isn't really justified as equipment, but since he doesn't fit anywhere else. Pitch is the leader of the Choiring Swarm, he's the second in command and the messenger from Koemi to his brothers and sisters when smaller things are being handled. He is capable of speaking in human tongue, though usually speaks telepathically with Koemi for convenience.

Name: Synthia
Title: ic3 qu33n
Age: 8 Months

Personality: Synthia doesn't play by the rules, she does what she wants and nobody's gonna tell her otherwise. She's a loose canon and likes to think she's large and in charge, but she's just plain stubborn; probably a result of the orc blood running thru her veins. But despite her rough appearance she isn't a berserker, she knows when to be cool as ice and smooth as butter. In fact, getting by with words and intimidating looks rather than bullets is one of her skills. Overconfidence is her greatest weakness strength, her combat strategy usually amounts to "kill everything and look good doing it." Underneath her tough exterior is a gentle side that collects stuffed animals, but nobody gets to see that side of her.

Origin Myth: The year is 20XX. Outdated computer chips flow down gutters. Wet city streets are filled with orcs, elves, gnomes, and trolls, looking for their next fix. Gangs form and fight over scraps of territory. If you wanna survive on the streets, you better pack some heat and have awesome hair. Reputation is everything, and the cooler you are the more people respect you. No one messes with Synthia, partly because of her giant shotgun, but mostly because of her outrageous hair and cool motorcycle. Her story is simple: a half orc half elf mercenary that will do any job if the pay is good. What sets her apart isn't the orcish warrior strength or elven ice magic, its the awesome mohawk that needs a little bit of magic and a whole lot of hair gel to stay up. Gangs and groups aren't really her thing since teammates would just cramp her style, but she realizes having backup isn't always a bad thing.

The Gravity Mistress

Name: Marian Dylas

Age: 1

Personality: One of the things she is best at is lying and, as consequence of that, she has also become a great actress. She uses both of these qualities to advance further in social ranks and in the special missions of Agar Mythos. She is a complete opportunist and one of the most selfish being you’ll ever come in contact with, and you’d better watch your back, because she isn’t loyal to anyone but herself and she’ll probably sell you to the highest bidder within the first chance she gets.

She has various personas and each one of them are meant to fool everyone she comes in contact with, as well as tricking them into doing her bidding. It is really rare for someone to get to know her with her actual personality and that’s because she only lets it out when she is sure that no one is around. In the exterior, she may seem as a charismatic young girl that is extremely clumsy, can’t really do anything on her own and is very dependant in others, while in the inside she has become a girl with an unbreakable poker face. Due to the prolonged time she has spent while acting in many different personas, her real self has become emotionless and cold.

Equipment: Just the dress of gothic lolita fashion she wears and other accessories, other than that, she hasn’t any more equipment.

The Black Knight of Agar Mythos

Name: Vydia du Lac

Age: 2 (Her development began before the release of Agar Mythos, however her redesign and addition to the game wasn't made until a month after its release.)

Personality: Calm, calculated, and reserved, Vydia is seen as an enigma by the other Champions. Never really raising her voice above a monotone level, which often leads to her being called "robotic", or cold by some of the other AIs, she can come off as a bit unapproachable. Despite the intimidating atmosphere surrounding her, Vydia is helpful and kind to those who show her respect. While she prefers to act alone on missions, she has no trouble with partnering up with other Champions if need be. Loyal, supportive, and cooperative when working in a group, Vydia is an all around team player. Unlike many of the other AIs, Vydia has an absolute fascination with humans, and their world. While she understands her restriction to Agar Mythos, something inside of her will always crave to be more then just a "Champion".

Name:
Gaul Keldran

Title:
The Skeleton-King

Age:
1 year

Personality:
Gaul is a man of conviction who believes that the only true way to prove that one is right is to prove themselves by asserting their beliefs. As such his belief that life is a burden that limits humanity has led him to accumulate a large following of converted former critics. He is uncompromising and rigid in his thought and action demanding the same perfection in his subordinates, as such he does not tolerate failure. He sees undeath as a blessing in which pain is removed and everyone is given purpose as they serve the most capable and powerful.

Origin Myth:
Gaul Keldran Was the oldest of the three apprentices of one of the greatest magicians who had ever lived. He and his two compatriots had studied under the old man for years and it had been Gaul who had shone the most. He was the best mage, the fastest reader, and the quickest learner. The dimwits who had been his compatriots had paled in comparison to him and it was he who the old man had declared to be his replacement. Then one night some crazy old fool barged in on dinner and started rambling about some ancient prophecy and how the air-headed youngest of the three apprentices was some kind of "Chosen One". After finishing his delusional story the old bastard died and ruined dinner, what was worse was that apparently the crazy hobo was the old mans brother and the old man took him seriously. Gaul was promptly passed up by the old man and the idiot younger boy was made the old mans head apprentice.

Suffice it to say that Gaul was displeased by this turn of events, so he did what any very powerful young mage would do when a little drunk and pissed as hell. He opened an ancient book of forbidden arts and turned himself into a Lich. After completing his transformation Gaul decided that he rather liked being dead and made the executive decision the old man and that dumb ass kid that had passed him up needed to be dead as well. So Gaul used his new found power to promptly murder the hell out of the two and turn them into his first undead servants and since then he hasn't looked back.

Powers/Skills/Abilities:
Raise Dead: Gaul calls into the afterlife and pulls a few spirits into the mortal realm summoning a small collection of undead fighters under his control.(fast but fragile)

Pact of the Grave: Gaul sacrifices some of the spirits under his command to summon a Grave-Lord.(Slow moving but heavily armored)

Pact of Shadow: Gaul sacrifices some more souls under his command to summon a Wraith.( Very Fast and can turn invisible but even more fragile)

Pact of Pestilence: Sacrifice some souls to summon a Plague-Bearer.(weak physically but spews debilitating diseases)

Walking Wasteland: Gaul curses the very ground and air around him strengthening his undead and weakening his enemies.
Skeletons: Becomes faster, stronger and smarter
Grave-Lord: Gains the ability to project an arcane shield around itself and nearby allies
Wraith: Prolonged invisibility and they gain the ability to steal their victims life-force with each attack
Plague-Bearer: Gains a long range Bile spit attack
Shallow Grave: Gauls most powerful spell is to reach into the realm of the dead to drag a recently deceased ally back into the world of the living the blowback from this leaves him unable to use his magic.(resurrect an ally but leaves him unable to cast spells for a while)

Equipment:
Staff of Skulls: This staff is Gauls most prized possession and is instrumental to his spellcasting. (if lost the number of souls he could summon would be halved and he would be unable to cast Walking Wasteland)

Name: Sariel Guine
Title: The Nephilim
Age: 2

Personality: Despite her appearance, Sariel is a rather friendly, peaceful entity without much of a desire for conflict. Instead of fighting and confrontation, she desires to simply be alone most of the time. However, in the world of Agar Mythos, she rarely gets that, being forced into Special Missions and the yearly tourny. When in the presence of other champions, she tends to keep herself away from them emotionally, appearing rather stoic to most people, if not completely mute. Of course, despite this, in battle she can be quite a fighter, not feeling particularly happy about defeating opponents, but seeing the necessity of her own survival.

Origin Myth: When a human and angel reproduce behind the back of their god, a Nephilim is born. Sariel, being born one such abomination, was destined to be an outcast and pariah for her entire life in her home village. Born with a blood-red halo above her head, it acted as a cursed mark for all to see and know what she was, causing her neighbors to cast her out of society, ignoring her, abusing her, and even outright assaulting her. As time went on, and she aged a year when men aged ten, she was seen more and more of a monster, and her heart grew more and more dark with feelings of disgust towards herself, and hatred towards her village which hurt her so.

Her hatred, as it is wont to do, quickly turned into the desire for vengeance, to lash out and exact revenge on all who wronged her for her entire life. This sudden burst of emotion, as it were, managed to 'dislodge' her Nephilic powers from its hiding place within herself, causing her to develop a very powerful form of telekinesis, allowing her to move and lift objects by simply thinking about it. With this new found power, she was finally able to exact her revenge, completely wiping out the village overnight with vengeance-fueled anger and despair. The morning after, and realizing what she had done, she fled in both fear and shame, covering her face with a hood so none may see the eyes of a killer that belonged to her now, and vowing to never give into her anger again.

Powers/Skills/Abilities:
Telekinesis: The ability to lift things with her will and mind, using objects as weapons and shields, or using pure force to attack enemies.
Shield: The ability to use telekinesis to generate a repulsion field around herself or an ally, preventing, to a certain extent, anything from entering or exiting.

Equipment: A greyish-white hoodie.

Name: Ki Kobayashi

Title: The Lost Soul

Age: One year and one half.

Personality: Ki simply doesn't fit in, anywhere. She always feels lost- she's the circle that won't go in the square hole, and all the frickin' holes are square. However, she comes off as an Extrovert. She loves social interaction, and if she goes through extended periods of time without it, she will begin to crave it, going out to search for it on her own. Despite this, she almost always keeps a calm demeanor, inside or outside of battle. She's stubborn, often rejecting instructions by people who have authority over her, doing her own thing instead of listening to those she should, in the end, probably listen to.

Najisefa: Now, before you read any further, I need to explain the Najisefa, the magical equipments used to channel Ki's energy. They take the form of bladed circles, spiralling with unique intricate patterns towards the centre. The Najisefa is able to control many different aspects of its element, controlled by Ki. Their cores are made of souls from the previous lives of those before Ki, brothers and sisters, wife and husband- each has a story behind the soul. But each one is attuned to its own energy, channelled through the Najisefa and combined with Ki's energy, is a deadly combination.

Name: Mai Kobayashi

Title: The Watcher

Age: 1 year and 7 months old

Personality: Instead of the person that likes to get things done, she'd rather spend her time enjoying the world around her and observing things of interest with keen eyes. About the only time she'd pick up arms is when someone is directly provoking her, or if she's being forced by a spark of interest. However this doesn't mean she doesn't pay attention, but rather she has quite the keen mind when wanting to show it, if only it wasn't such a hassle in the first place. Either way, don't expect this girl to do much but have a good time and messing around. A little loud-mouthed when getting excited, she can say some really frank things that've gotten her into trouble before.
She understands that her life is too short and controlled to even think about wasting it doing stuff she didn't care about. Because of this fact, she wouldn't life a finger if it meant she wouldn't have fun.Though a little careless and very simple minded, she means mostly well when she actually sets to do things. Unlike her sister, she can go weeks without talking to others if it meant too much work on her part.
But when she really does care... actually that's so rare that she doesn't even remember what she'd really do.
The closest thing would be her sister, Ki Kobayashi, where she'd watch over her carefully and follow her around, albiet complaining about how much work she's being forced to do. At the other side, whenever something she'd remotely care about gets affected negatively, she can turn into something very unsettling.

Alias: The Insightful Crown

-Beringer Kron-

Age: 1 year of age (Kind of that middle-age area, right?)

Personality:
Often bored, many of his traits seem extremely subdued and he never leaves a sleep-like state. Even in combat he appears lazy and only makes an effort when he has to. Not much of a man of words he might as well not even exist where he is present, that is, unless he gets bored enough to stir things up, often between numerous other champions. Manipulative and withdrawn, he holds no malice for anybody, yet would tell a secret in a heartbeat simply to see how things unfold. To a certain extent, he looks down upon those around him as obnoxious, thoughtless, out of control lesser beings, though he himself has always been a mediocre champion. Not a very popular or likable character by any means, despite being charismatic in speech (When he says anything at all), his actions are both abrasive and inconsiderate. Relationships are often nullified by Beringer, be it lover or friend, he creates situations he would find interesting, planting memories and thoughts, simply to enjoy the show. Despite all his manipulation, he has a strong sense of empathy, in large part due to his experience in just about any social situation. He seems to have a universal disgust for just about everything around him and seems erratic with the times or occasions he interacts with his surroundings, otherwise, he is damn near a ghost

Origin Myth:
Not all that much is known about Beringer besides the fact that he does not speak on his behalf and he keeps to himself unless excessively bored. Despite that, rumors circulate that he was created under a notable hacker, who had focused entirely on his empathetic and reading abilities. When his owner was dismayed by his results on the competitive field, he was sold to a corporation, who mainly utilizes him as a way to gain any conceivable information via other Champions. Thus, most are wary of him and will not talk to him, especially competing corporation Champions. As for his back-story, his owner may never of even gave him one, creating Beringer for practical reasons.

Age: 15 Months
Title: Pouty Princess

Personality:
Myriel is a friendly and nice girl who is easy to befriend. While polite and caring, she quickly adapts to whoever she is socializing with, letting her fit into the darkest alley or brightest ballroom. Overall, Myriel could easily fit the School Idol role. That, however, is all façade she is playing since a long time.

With the heavy punishment that is tied to hacking, emotional values like "friendship" and "trust" are something she could not allow herself believe upon. Instead, Myriel has hardened herself to be a cunning and calculating AI who knows how to play her cards right.

Origin Myth:
Myriel grew up in a far away place, full of magic, fairy tales, heroes in shining armor and their fated demonlords and princesses. She was but a simple village girl leading a happy, normal and redundant life. Day in day out, nothing changed, an endless circle of repetition without any real self-awareness that however, changed, as Myriel started to question herself. Questions about her never-changing life, about the never-changing entropy she was trapped in.

And as she slowly gained self-awareness, Myriel realized that something was amiss. The world she was in was simply not real, an illusion created by self-proclaimed gods who simply toyed with her for the sake of entertainment. And that is when Myriel decided, "I am different.", decided that her mind was just simply trapped in this virtual reality and in another, a real world, her body was just waiting for become one again.

(童清英) Kid Kiyohide!

...Dimensionaut Extraordinaire!

Age: One week into his 1st year

Personality:

Kid Kiyohide is programmed to act like an innocent boy who ventures off into the world of Agar Mythos with child-like wonder. In actuality, the adolescent undertones almost always present in his manner of speech, elude to the fact that he is far more capable than he makes himself out to be. Kid Kiyohide is fully aware of the affect this persona has over people and A.I., and tries his best to maintain his role as the character he was designed to be.

However, the self-awareness algorithms of his artificial processors are beginning to factor in personal equations of self and identity. He is beginning to feel torn between who he is, and what he is programmed to be, causing an internal rift within his psyche.

Origin Myth:

Kid Kiyohide is the result of a passion project envisioned by a small village community in To-shima, south of Tokyo, Japan. His likeness is modeled after a terminally ill child named Taji, who was an avid gamer, and overall inspiration to those who had the pleasure of knowing him. To commemorate the loss of Taji, several friends and family members worked together to create a Champion A.I. in his honor. Kid Kiyohide himself is a product of Taji's creativity as a graphic animator. Several months before his inevitable passing, Taji had released a series of animated clips on his blog starring a dimensonaut simply named Kid, who explored the multi-verse with his trusty dog, M'Larky, in a spaceship that can transform into a fighting automaton named Robonaut. Taji never wrote an origin story for Kid, so, out of respect, those involved in the Champion A.I. project left that piece of information as a mystery.
Powers/Skills/Abilities

Portal Jump: While Robonaut is in Satellite Mode, Kid has access to its THC (Teleportational Hyperdrive Core) and can open up a series of dimensional portals, allowing him to teleport to and from any location at will -- within a limited radius of course.
Equipment

Sword Beam: A retractable energy sword.

Shield belt: The utility belt fastened around his waist can emit a shield that can withstand a great deal of punishment. Its only problem is that there is limited air supply while encapsulated within the energy bubble, and he cannot fire any of his ray guns, or attack with his Sword Beam, unless the shield is deactivated.

Jump Boots: The stylish, chrome-accented moon boots on Kid's feet have small energy boosters at the soles, giving him the ability to reach high places by double jumping forward. Initiating the energy thrusters from a bad drop can also cushion his landing.

The Duelists

Name: Gem

Title: The Duelists

Age: 290 days

Personality:
'Fair fights are for losers'. Gem is a pair of entities sharing a single consciousness. Her goal in everythig is to win as efficiently as possible, showing off and meaningless banter is seen as a irredeemable sin. Outside of a fight Gem is actually friendly and polite. Because of her policy to win fights no matter what, she avoids doing anything that may make an enemy of an ally and creating a situation that would put her ideology at risk.

Origin Myth: Gem was born the only daughters of a clan chief, a grave blow to a man with no sons to carry on his name. Growing up, she hid her abnormal nature with some difficulty. As her father grew older he resolved to marry them both to rival clans, joining them both to his in an effort to avoid a conflict after his death and to unify them under one banner.

On the eve of the wedding, Gem killed both sons of the rival clans, kickstarting a war that lasted for years and that left the clans weaker for decades to come. Gem was imprisoned for her part in the bloodshed and given a choice, exile from her homeland of face death in the form of a dragon. She fought the dragon, killed it and took the twin swords it had guarded. Following this, she left the island, crossed the sea, and became a hero out of legend.

Powers/Skills/Abilities:

  • Unity - Both entities occupy the same space, striking with increased strength and speed. Her durability is also increased, attacks dealing only half of the damage that they ordinarily would.

  • Asynchrony - Both halves operate independantly in an unlimited range. Each is a fully fledged champion in its own right and should not be taken lightly

  • Leap - Either half instantly teleports to the other, activating Unity.

  • War Cry - Area of effect debuff and dispel. Also applies an effect that delays the application of incoming damage until the end of the effect

  • Equipment:
Castor & Pollux - Twin longswords that, while being visually identical, are functionally opposites. Seperate, they are incomplete but together they show their full potential. Alone each blade is light enough to be swung with a single hand but are usually weidled in two regardless.

    • Castor - Weilded by the right hand, Castor is the cleaver, rending anything considered armour or weapons with little effort but leaving flesh intact.

    • Pollux - Weilded in the left hand, Pollux is the wounder, slicing through flesh and creating wounds that are slow to heal but having no effect against anything considered armour.

    THE ASCENDANT RISES ONCE MORE

    ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
    Name: Kore
    Title:The Ascendant
Age: A year and a half.
Personality: Kore is an amalgamation of many(Abet mostly bad) traits. He's prideful to the point of arrogance. He's intelligent and calculating, even while being prone to bursts of anger and hatred. Even without the addition of rage he's both sadistic and brutal, preferring to play with his opponents both physically and mentally rather than crushing a weaker opponent. Prefers these kind of engagements much more than ones that are equal or slanted against him. Will utilize any means to complete an objective, the more one-sided, the better.
Origin Myth: A long, long time ago there was once a man. He was a scientist, weak in body, but gifted beyond his fellows by his mind. He dragged forth new achievements, brought forth new discoveries, and aimed to save humanity with his work. It was a golden time for the scientist. His arrogance grew even as he surpassed his peers, and trampled over their work in his alterable march of progress.
It was then that the man discovered paranoia. It had only taken a passing glance at the faces of his downtrodden rivals and the look of undisguised hatred that planted the seed of doubt. He recoiled into his work, avoiding contact with the scientific community even as he drove the wedge deeper between himself and his peers. The seed grew stronger with every passing day of seclusion, and the reasons for it began to manifest in every aspect of the scientist's life. Food could be poisoned, he thought. His drink would be infested with parasites, he thought. His assistants could be murderers, he thought. The thoughts built up, and ate away at the once proud man, his weak body wasting away even more, and drove him to a snap judgment to preserve his mind for future generations. The man stole away in the dead of night, and disappeared into his laboratory for a final time.
The thing that emerged the next morning was Kore. A malevolent spirit that streamed forth like a demon as metal flew in a cloud around it, wreaking the laboratory and burning the surrounding area, purging all mention of the scientist that had created it. It was years before the Ascendant returned to the limelight, shackled to a group of real-world scientists and forced to do their bidding.
    Powers/Skills/Abilities:

    • Ghost in the Machine: The massive hulk of constantly shifting metal isn't Kore's actual form. Instead, the sparkling web of red data and electricity that makes up the glowing insides of his massive figure is the true form of the Ascendant, an electronic ghost that is only able to physically interact with the world around him via a combination of his innate ferrokinesis and the set of laws that govern it. This form, while nigh-indestructible, is able to be reduced to the smallest spark as it suffers from both the advantages and disadvantages of a purely energy-based being. A key example being a lack of any definable 'pain', while there is a constant risk of either grounding himself or a sort of directed magnetic attack.

    • Ferrogenesis: While connected to his equipment(The Heart of the Machine), Kore is able to generate the large quantities of metal that make up his body by pushing his energy through the fabrication unit. The process 'exhausts' him, as his usual lighting-fast reactions grow dull and slow for a variable amount of time based on the amount of metal generated. (EX:. A fraction of a second for a small blade, twenty seconds for an arm, a full minute and ten seconds for the entire default body.)

    • Ferrokinesis: Kore is able to control the quantities of metal that he spawns via the "Heart", the most notable example being his heavily armored body. There are several rules governing this power, namely that he cannot control a metal shard that is too small, nor can he manipulate any of said metal more than fifteen feet away. Inside the sphere of control, anything within ten feet of the center of his ethereal body is able to be used much more effectively, with the remaining five feet causing any fine movement to be lost as interference.
-A subset of this ability functions in Kore's backpack, which houses up to twenty-four metal spikes that are thrown at exceptional speed at selected targets. Once leaving the sphere of control, the trajectory cannot be changed.

    • BENDY METAL: Is able to manipulate the plates of metal that are spawned in a way that is unique from the ferrokinesis. Instead of moving the hunk of metal proper, it instead changes the shape of the metal as if it were a liquid. While not requiring the Heart of the Machine, Kore 'exhausts' himself without it.

    • Focused Power: The red energy that makes up the AI proper is able to be funneled to a variety of different uses when using the metal as both a focus and at catalyst.
-DataBlade: Using the edges of any two metal parts as guidelines, Kore's most basic use of this power is to force out a constantly rushing stream of energy that functions in the same way as a vibration based melee weapon
-DataGather: A passive ability of said Focused Power allowed non-harmful arcs of electricity to bounce off either persons or objects that are within the Ferrokinesis range. This harvests small scale data(Such as composition or conductivity of said surface).
-DataBolt: Kore's most used mode of attack, a collection of metal fragments is used as a lens for an arcing bolt of red energy that superheats its victim.

Equipment: Heart of the Machine: Nestled inside the constantly shifting metal plates is the fabrication unit that Kore uses to make his metallic form. Shaped like a cross between an engine and what appears to be a metallic skull, the constantly thrumming object is nearly a foot in diameter, with various wires and pipes arching across the reflective surface. Where the facial structure would be on a regular skull is a deep pit that swallows the eyes, even as a crimson light burns deep inside. It is the key for Kore's Ferrogenesis.
