Was fiddling with a phone, typing something into it before holding it out taking a picture of himself before fiddling with it again. Looking over to the stirring of the girl slowly coming back into reality as he drifted his eyes over to her. "welcome" he said raising his right knee to rest his arm on it as he looked over to her and started to laugh some "You guess hmm? Well you might want to look into that, I don't think I can be there catch you all the time." he said as he looked down handing that phone to her, considering it was hers after all. "I may or may not of stolen your phone, don't worry I just put my number in it." Giving her a quick wink " We should meet up, maybe catch a party or go out" He couldn't help but feel bit out of place, she was not the type he went for normally. Her idea of fun didn't look like getting drunk and dancing on tables, or getting in fights. He shrugged those thoughts off though, change is usually fun.

Lu got distracted by the music or rather it calmed him enough that he was halfaware of what was going on around him. Music was a form of escape for the young man, an escape from problems, reality the things he didn’t want to think about for the time being. At Marc’s comments he added only half there. Music is food for the soul they say. But I think everyone is different in this regard. As there are different kinds of people different things catch their fancy. This was the same for Lu, he liked different kinds of music. Though it was mostly what he could play or calmed him, still there were songs he just liked on different occasions, no matter the genre. After he got asked about his room number he blinked coming out of his daze. My room? He tilted his head. It’s 307, why’re you asking? he asked while looking at Mark.

Paris smiled listening to them talk about music. Everyone certainly did have different reasons for listening to music. So... what was his? He couldn't say it simply made him feel better, or calmed him down. No, it wasn't like that. He chuckled at himself a bit. Was it so wrong to just like beautiful things? He pulled his legs up to his chest and let the air from the car vents hit his face, his eyes closed as they talked about Lulu's room number. It wasn't that Paris didn't care, he just wasn't worried. He knew he'd be able to find Lulu should he want his company. Still... He took in a deep breath and glanced over at Marc. Paris couldn't put his finger on it, but for some reason Marc set him on edge. Maybe it was because Marc seemed... difficult. Only liking one thing when it fits his mood. Paris' eyes changed from a clear blue to a foggy cyan, the smile fading from his lips. He'd dealt with too many picky people in his life. He didn't think Marc was picky, he just... He sighed and shook his head. No need judging before you've even given it a chance.

Paris put on a big grin and leaned into the conversation. "We should exchange cell numbers and stuff. That way, we can contact each other easily." He told them, grinning. "Oh and... uh... Marc. Do you remember what room number we are? I kind of... forgot." He asked his roommate, his cheeks flushing red out of embarrassment.

Matt smiled at the question. "Just the sports club, really. I dabble in a lot of different things, but I have a black belt, so I thought I'd continue it here." He was glad that he hadn't been shut down from the awkward question. that would have been a top tier way to start his college career. "I'm here for the experience and the education, mainly. It should be fun, right?"

He noted she seemed almost defensive around him, like he was going to do something, or say something. He wondered why. "What are you actually in school for?"

~Feeling again the urge to go and explore the campus, Kacela took advantage of Matt's arrival to slip away, relatively unnoticed as Avery and Matt were talking about clubs. She didn't want to be too rude, however, and so gave a small wave as she departed. When she was once again by herself, she felt the urge fade a bit, though it still prompted her to look around and appreciate the beauty of the campus, especially the wooded areas on the fringes. It was definitely not a bad place to be attending college.~

Meanwhile, Avery was still chatting with Matt, listening as he explained that he had signed up for the sports club due to having some experience in a form of martial arts, or at least that's what Avery gathered from his casual mention of having a black belt. “Do you m-mind if I ask what kind of m-martial arts you have a black belt in?” she asked, feeling a little silly for her lack of knowledge concerning the subject. She did know, however, that there were at least two different martial arts that used a black belt, so she knew that her question wasn't entirely idiotic.

At his explanation of what he was attending college for, Avery nodded. It was a pretty common sentiment that college students shared, and she was really no exception. Sure, the point was to further your education, but that didn't meant that you couldn't enjoy the process too. His question as to what she was attending for was a bit surprising, but only because it acted as proof that he knew she wasn't actually a little kid. That confirmation allowed her to relax some.

“I'm here to major in Studio Arts,” she said a bit sheepishly, as she knew how some people reacted upon hearing that someone was going for a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree. Figuring that it would be better to change the subject of the conversation to someone else, she responded by asking, “What are you attending the university for?”

The Impala pulled into the campus again, as it did, Marc was wondering too, what his room number was. "You know Paris I can't remember, we'll just ask the nice lady at the front desk wich we are." He got out of the car and checked his campus map , heading towards the gymnasium for the clubs. He'd sign up for any martial skills clubs, and the gardening club. His new found friends wod all do that together and if they didn't, a relaxing garden could still provide fresh teas. As he walked forward he called behind him to Lucius, " so Lucius, if you're up for it I could use a running partner, or it could be the three of us if you still want to, Paris." He turned and smiled, happy to have new found friends. All of his had gone to other colleges, a few even to IB colleges. He walked into the gymnasium, viewing all the bustling people, clubs, and teachers. "Woah, sweet. " he said.

Kacela wandered around the outer edge of the campus. She felt better after leaving Avery and the other boy. She didnt get to learn his name. But it didnt matter so much. She was sure she would meet him again eventually. She had a strange feeling about it. It was like every one she met so far had something important hidden in them. Just as kacela did too. Her dreaded shame and her secret power. She was afraid of it and didnt know how to use it yet really. It only emerged when she was emotional or distressed. Which came together often. Maybe one day she could master her strange power.

She pondered how she worked. Was the power something that manifested as her emotions. If so, being able to control those emotions would be useful. Kacela thought her self to be able to control what she felt quiet well, but she knew that anything could happen. Kacela was only able to produce the light and bend it for now. Besides becoming light itself when she grew angry. And that scares her. To change her physical being into photons and become energy. It was perplexing and strange.

During her thinking she stopped. And again came into the physical world as her thoughts shut off and she became attuned to the natural place around her. She drank in the world around her with a smile. The place was still moist with dew. She kneeled down in her apparent solitude and observed a flower before her. She reached out and caressed its leaves and petals. Enjoying the smell of the flower. A normal person might pick it and keep it with them. But kacela preferred to return to the living flower for months instead of picking it and taking it with her. She enjoyed the smell of life.

Then kacela stood up and continued to wander. Saying a silent goodbye to the flower. It's yellow petals waving back in the slight wind. She kept away from where she could hear the noise of people. Kacela stalked around silently learning the campus by foot. She slightly hopes to meet more kind people. But at her pace of one at a time.

Paris rolled his eyes at his roommate's response, chuckling slightly as they exited the car and made way for the gymnasium. The campus was still rather large and intimidating to him. He'd have to explore it later. He'd always enjoyed seeing new places even if they were school. He'd also need to find out where his classes where and things like that. Nevermind clubs, when was he going to sign up for classes? Or was he? This was supposed to be a normal college right? He sighed and followed closely behind Marc and Lulu, listening. He smiled and nodded at the appropriate times, not really into the conversation anymore. His mind was elsewhere, remembering the scowling faces he'd left behind in high school. They'd all hated him for some reason. You'd think people would like the guy with the ability to heal them, but no. They all feared what they didn't understand. they didn't understand his powers so they turned him away. Made fun of him.

He let out a long sigh, his mood slowly dropping. He didn't even make much of a sound when they entered the gymnasium. He looked up with tired eyes at the booths and without saying a word walked over to the garden club and signed his name. The students at the booth tried to talk to him before he signed but he ignored them, sending them an awkward smile. He looked around for any other club he had an interest in but didn't really see any. He looked back at his friends to see what they were doing.

After they arrived back at the uni Lucius followed them both to the gymnasium. At Mark’s question he just answered. Maybe, we’ll see how it goes. All depends on the time I guess. He smiled. Though this expression didn’t last long. He went around briefly, exchanging a few words with the other students at each of the booths he was interested in. The Art club was interesting and since he had an interest in it he signed up.

Didn’t you think about the music club? asked the student responsible for the registration. Sorry I know this might seem strange as it’s a different club, but seeing your violin.. Lu just smiled and explained briefly. I prefer playing for myself to relax. Art… let’s call it sculpting… has been an interest I couldn’t really pursue. He smiled a bit ambiguously and completed the registration. After the registration he did the same for the Game Club, mostly because it was something he didn’t really have time for before… though computer science especially hardware and software were something he had knowledge about, more than he really wanted.

What Got to him was when he, as Lu promised Paris, came to the gardening club to sign up. He observed Paris as he registered. Lu just thought the boy was off. More like depressed judging by his motions and sluggishness. Paris’ whole body literary screamed that he wanted to get out of here. Lucius waited for him for go and registered, a bit worried about his new friend. Since the people at the booth didn’t seem as the reason Lu just followed Paris and came up to him as he stopped. Paris, are you all right? You don’t look so good. Lu knew that a direct approach wasn’t really what he should be doing, but social interactions were still a bit awkward for the boy.

"Do you see what I see?"

Taking her phone back, Eva slipped it into her pocket, mentally reminding herself to put a password on her phone. While AJ apparently just put his number in, it was definitely possible that others might do much worse. As her phone came in contact with her hand, her psychometric ability leaked out a bit, allowing her to grab the little information she wanted. She gave a wry inner chuckle at the sight of the selfie he took.

Glancing up at him, she blinked, rather stunned by his casual proposal. Fortunately, she didn't blush again, but did she mention that it was the first time that anybody's asked her out--even if it was super informal? Eeee! How do you even react to something like that? Inner panic!! Just kidding, not really. But Eva legitimately didn't know how to react.

In the end, she just gave a small smile and shrugged, adding a slight head tilt. "Depends on how bad the college workload is, I suppose, but sure."

Ugh.

Paris blinked, hearing Lulu address him. "I'm sorry what?" He asked, looking over at his friend. He'd spaced out waiting for them to finish. He let out a small sigh and smiled at Lulu. "Sorry, I just... kind of zoned out. Yanno? So, I signed up for gardening club. Not really sure what else to sign up for. What else did you sign up for?" Paris asked, holding his hands behind his back. He was rubbing the insides of his palm again, an old habit. One he didn't really want his friends to see. It was a way for him to calm down, remind himself he'd be okay.

"I was thinking about either the art club or the theatre club... I like fashion but Theatre people annoy me." He told Lulu, pursing his lips. "What a dilemma, huh?" He said, chuckling. He really didn't have much else he was interested in. He liked English but the Poetry Club just wasn't his thing. He snorted a bit before adding, "Maybe I should try to go for a hair stylist degree." He chuckled awkwardly.

Lu just nodded accepting Paris’ answer. If you say so He crossed his arms and tilted his head slightly listening to the questions. Well I joined the Art and Gardening club. I don’t think I have to mention I joined the gardening club too. I want to try new things. This would let me do some of the stuff I wanted but couldn’t do. There was the technology? Club Lu seemed a bit quizzical as he didn’t really recall the name here. Still nothing for me, I’ve had enough to do with software and hardware already. He smiled at Paris.

After Paris asked the other question Lucius scratched his chin a bit before answering, seemingly he was thinking about the dilemma. Well, maybe there will be something similar in the art club. I don’t know if there will be what I used to make in there… but isn’t making clothes a form of art in itself? Lu asked innocently[/b] After all making someone clothes just having an idea and cloth is amazing in itself.[/b] He nodded to himself, then smiled. Well I can only say you have some time to think about it. After all you should decide what or rather who you want to be… be it hair stylist, designer or anyone else. Just… do what you feel makes you fulfilled and happy. Lu closed his eyes for a moment and took a deep breath, then looked at Paris. The future is yours to shape. Sorry I kind of ranted there… sorry. He scratched his head.

Paris chuckled, waving Lulu off. "You're fine. I appreciate it." He said, send a warm smile to his friend. "I think I will try the art club. It'll at least be very similar." He explained, sending Lulu a grin. He chuckled again and walked off in the direction of the art club booth. There was one guys sitting at the booth, messing with something on a canvas. Paris shifted his position a bit to get a better look. The guy was painting a picture of... a dress?

"Hey..." Paris began and sent the guy a brief smile. "Whatcha workin' on?" He asked, looking over quizzically.

"Well, I'm drawing the dress for the female character I've been doodling." He explained, pulling out a sketch pad and pushing it Paris' way. On the page were several different drawings of the same girl. She had long wavy hair, big eyes and her face was speckled with freckles. Paris smiled as he looked at it.

"It's amazing." Paris replied, putting the pad back down and grabbing the registration clipboard. He signed his name and email and then set it back down. "Thanks. I'll... see in club then?" He asked, turning to walk away.

"Of course, I'm Derrick. I'll look forward to seeing you around... Paris!" Derrick replied, looking down to see Paris' name. Paris nodded slightly and then walked back over to Lulu, a bright smile on his face. "There. Now I feel fulfilled." He told his friend. "Hey, where's Marc?" He asked, looking around for his roommate. "We probably need to go about seeing where our room is soon." He explained, pausing to sigh. "Can't believe we both forgot our room number. We were just there not two hours ago." He continued, rolling his eyes at himself.

Marc's face was bright and full of enthusiasm. He had just signed up for the gardening club after having a fairly lengthy conversation with the advertiser of it. As it turned out, the school had won a few stone guards ing competitions and had a magnificent set of them. He then went along, signing up for the gymnastics, and running club. Each of them astonished at his peak physicallity and impressive record. Flattered, Marc would smile, and try to tone them down. He'd say it wasn't that big of a deal that he was a state champion for gymnastics, or ran a 4:59 mile. Those titles weren't important to him. He was in it for the fun.
However, he was really excited when he looked at the long list of names applying for the martial arts club. He thought the school had a strong club. He turned up and smiled to the registration as he signed his name. The registration clerks eyes widened as he looked at Marc's martial arts record. He was the worlds leasing expert on a number of martial arts, and a world class tournament fighter. He smiled to him, competition in his eyes, he could feel his heart beating. "So when's the first meeting?" He asked.
"This Tuesday." The reception clerk said, recovering his wit. Marc thanked him and walked off, into the crowd. As he walked through he took stock of a number of different people, then he zoned out for a few minutes and kept walking. Next thing he knew he bumped into some people having a conversation, and felt embarrassed.
"Pardon me..." He looked at his name tag, " Matt".

Matt shrugged. "some kind of engineering, inventing, or science. That's my game. I like to design stuff, and since I'm going to need a degree in something or other, I might as well help others doing what I love, right? Anyway, its not a huge thing, just little old me following me dre--"

Someone rammed into him. Matt felt it and panicked, feeling his balance slide to the side. His Leech instinctively kicked in, drawing from the people sitting down their agility and speed. He twisted in the air, flipping around his waist back to his feet. He probably looked like a total prick doing it, too. Excellent. Maybe I should play a fanfare, too, to draw even more attention to myself.

He played it off as a fluke, exhaling heavily and wiping his brow with relief. The unwitting attacker, Marc, seemed to have not been paying much attention to where he was going. Matt understood that, sometimes people just didn't pay attention. "Shouldn't a leading tournament fighter know where he's stepping?" Matt was joking, of course. He knew of Marc, being a member of the martial arts world himself. His studio never participated in stunts or tourneys, but word got around regardless.

Matt continued on. "I hope you've signed up for the martial club here, Master Culdaré." The last part was said more in jest than in reverence: this kid was his age, so he felt comfortable speaking to him as an equal, at least until the battlefield. Matt knew that against the young man in front of him, he'd have to leech from at least six people to even have a chance against him.

Marc chuckled at the instantaneous reaction that spring from Matt's nervous system. It was a good reaction, perhaps a tad over played, but it would've been the proper thing to do on a dark night in a sketchy alleyway. Marc had never done that because his reaction speed had always been fast enough to block a punch or kick when it came at him without putting his hands up. Clearly Matt knew about martial arts, and did them because he recognized Marc by sight. He called him master too, Marc thought it was funny, knowing it was a joke he laughed.
"Just Marc will do!" He boomed, then got into a conversational tone. " I just came from te sign up station for martial arts, looks like a lot of competition. Haven't heard any of the names though, was yours on there?"

Lucius just nodded to Paris and on seeing he started talking to someone from the club he decided to catch some air, this was a place much too crowded for him. Paris I’ll catch you later, I need some air this place is a bit too stuffy for me. Say hi to Marc for me. With that he evacuated from the gym. He noticed the small scuffle as he was leaving but decided to just shoot a quick wave at Marc if he looked his way. This was enough for one day, too many people there, it’s not that he wasn’t used to people, it’s just he preferred to talk or rather stay in a smaller group.

Once outside Lu decided to wander the campus. Now he needed to calm a bit, maybe meditate, still there was something inside of him that wanted out. This made him remember the violin case he was holding onto. I should put this back… after one more… He came to a clearing on the side of the campus. This looked like a place rarely frequented, colorful flowers growing here and there, some trees. Lucius thought he heard another person walking nearby but he didn’t mind. Now he wanted to play… so he did, a quiet tune, in tune with the breeze flowing around him…

Avery nodded along as Matt explained that his interests lay in the fields of science and mathematics, secretly thrilled that she knew someone who was probably good at math. She would need the help during the year for sure. As he was finishing, a man suddenly ran into him, though Matt seemed to react with amazing reflexes and agility, doing a kind of flip to land back on his feet. He seemed to treat it as no big deal, however, moving right along into conversation with the intruder before anyone could say anything.

Somehow, Matt seemed to know the stranger, or at least Matt knew of him, as he referred to him with some measure of familiarity. Not to mention the fact that Matt knew his name. The other boy seemed to take the reaction and familiarity in stride, laughing boisterously before explaining that calling him Marc was suitable. Their conversation concerning the martial arts club and such did do a little to answer one question Avery had, which was how Matt had been able to do that crazy flip, as being an experienced martial artist would kind of explain it.

Feeling a tad left out of the loop, Avery decided to speak up after a moment of hesitation. “Wh-What kind of martial arts do you do?” she asked, looking up at the two of them for a response. “My dad signed me up for karate lessons when I was younger, but I was never very good at it. I'm much better at gymnastics and art.”

Marc turned and faced the small young lady. What kind I martial arts did he do? He couldn't remember them all, 6 main martial arts were what he did, but the names he always forgot. Pride swelled in his throat, but he kept it calm and said, "Well I do six, five ive mastered, one I'm learning. The five I'm not learning I'm considered the world wide master of, but I hate telling people that, this is strictly for informative purposes. If either of you want, if be happy to help you with any training you'd like. I'm really good at gymnastics, martial arts, anything along those sort of lines. I'm always learning though, so I can keep teaching."
He hoped that was an adequate explanation, it'd come to him either way. He looked at her, she was cute, but not his type, it wasn't the shortness, he didn't care about that, timidness wasn't big to him, but she seemed nice, he'd try to be a friend.
"Anyway, I hope we can be friends... I'm sorry, but I'm not familiar with your name, what is it?"

Matt shrugged. "Thanks for the offer, Marc, but I'm sure I can hold my own if I have to. Especially if--" He cut himself off. He couldn't tell them what he could do. The fact of it was, if Marc wasn't fighting, then Matt could leech his skill and speed, becoming the 'world-wide master', himself. But how on Earth was he supposed to tell anyone that? 'Hey, look...I can steal your hard-earned skills and talents and use them as my own. Don't freak own."

He quickly corrected himself. "Especially if...uh...I'm prepared. I've got a second Dan in JiuJitsu, so I'm well enough prepared."

Shit. Now they're going to ask questions. This day has just been full of incredible events.
