Fahd watched the bard run past him onto the top deck and suddenly without warning there a loud thud topside "Festering... useless... Scurvy ridden dammanable sea farers! And to think they call themselves warriors of the sea..." Fahd said then resumed his foraging for liqour

Heavy footsteps echo throughout the lower quarters. The captain rushes toward the supply room but stops in front of the medical center.

Placing his hand against the door frame, he dips his head forward, "We have injuries aboard deck. Tend to people as soon as this battle is over. Let us hope your sea legs are ready for some work."

Without a second thought, he leaves the area to look for crew members and begins to gather a small group of men, "We need chains, lots of long ones. A chain shot might be able to cleave that thing's head off, but we're going to have to work the cannon's a bit differently. We can't fit that much metal in a single barrel."

"Well at least he warms me this time... Nobody ever thanks me... Lousy good for nothing... Will just hurt themselves as soon as I turn my eye.." Fahd continued to grumble he began to wander and little did he know he was in the room of Kazumi, despite this however he began to search for liqour in Kazumi's room despite her being in her bed.

When he was in his galley, he was as powerful as the captain, when he wasn't cooking, he was one of the crew. That meant his muscled body was currently in the cannon row putting the firing iron into place, his frame was best put to use hauling cannon balls into powder filled barrels and waiting for the order to fire. Any other time but now and he would be with the quartermaster assessing the food to see what was to be done. As it is, he is currently planning hellbeast haggis with sue-she for Kazumi and a few of Kristion's recipes, that one with the purple potatoes and lots of spice.

"Helm," Celeste roared over the driving storm, "yer drifting. Tighten yer spiral! We don't want the serpent catching us astern!"

Barely able to see the shadow of the sea creature for the drowning rain cascading in never ending sheets Celeste turned her head to see someone attempting to play a lute. A literal waterfall fell from the tip of her sodden cap, momentarily blocking her vision and splattered against the deck. Holding on as the ship once more fell the height of almost two men, she felt her feet lift from the deck once more and if she couldn't have held on with both hands she'd have become airborne again.

She'd been watching for a clear shot as the two idiot pirates clamored over the sea serpent. At least the serpent wasn't attacking the ship. She had to grant them that. A shot from the swivel guns would near tear one of them in half if the thrashing sea serpent moved the lady pirates into the line of fire. What they really needed, more than anything, and what they'd planned from the start was to bring the long toms to bear.

Finally, one of the damn fools was back aboard ship, albeit painfully so. Celeste didn't relish the bruises and possible broken bones that Carmen would possess. Now there was just one pirate between them and the serpent. How either of the women had survived the tossing waves without being capsized in their tiny boat, how they'd managed to not be washed off of the serpent when slammed by the crashing waves, was beyond her.

Finally she blasted with the swivel gun, causing a small gout of blood and ichor to erupt from the creature but it wasn't very effective, more so than a mere blade or musket ball but was still little more than a bite from a pilot fish compared to the shark it followed. Right now, she was wondering if perhaps the best bet was simply too fire a fusillade of canister and chain like she'd ordered and simple reduce Alexi to a fine red mist.

The worst part was Alexi couldn't very well leap free. Falling into the water was about the same as dying in such a storm. No human being could hope to conquer the power of such waves. The very ship Nature's Bounty which weighed as much as several hundred men was being thrown about like a leaf in the wind.

"One of ye scurvy dogs be getting her a line!" Celeste cried out, hoping they could save her before the captain gave the order to fire the long toms.

Kristion had been fighting against the raging waves in an attempt to keep there course and keep a distance between the ship and the devil serpent. Damn idiots are gwine get di ship wrecked. He thought with gritted teeth as he saw the two crazed pirates jump over bored to fight the beast. He gripped the wheel has hard as his callused hands would allowed him as he steadied the course of the ship again. Kristion noticed one of the foolish souls get knocked back to the ship by the beast and the quartermaster land a successful shot, though it wasn't as damaging as one would hope. "Yuh lot betta not let a scratch get on my ship or i'll make you swim to shore!" He called out over the sounds of the storm and battle.

Kazumi heard the door opening and her head poped out of blankets "WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!?" she screamed at Fahd as if he had sneaked into a girl's changing room a,she quickly jumped off her hammock and took her sword but the moment she was about to attack the ship was shooked by the storm making Kazumi ran to a corner and hug her knees in fear, "just leave...." she said with a depressed voice

"AGH!" Fahd said shocked by Kazumi's sudden appearance "In the name of the nine stars woman why on earth did you do that!?" Fahd said alarmed, he then looked about and despite his moderate intoxication was able to figure that he had actually stumbled into Kazumi's room "Ah... Sorry girl, now ah... Well for starters why in earth are you not topside? For Sagons sake lass, your a pirate and not only that your a bloody ninja!" Fahd said a tad offended she was not defending him from the sea beast.

"storms...they scare me...NOW LEAVE!" she shouted and threw Fahd a pillow not even looking if it hit him or now, the pillow hit the only bottle of rum Kazumi had

Fahd swiveled around to see a glass bottle break "Hmph didn't see that there... Blasted liqour for all the good it does me..." Fahd turned back to Kazumi and said bitterly "I suggest you don't get me angry lass, for. I may just poison your wounds next time you come to my surgical table..."

"Dammed the seven kings girl! You could at the very least do me the honor of insulting me back!" Fahd said in a rage "Gods of damnation the things I put up with..." He left Kazumi's "bed area" (Since this isn't a cruise ship after all) and walked over to a sitting bench near a wall, sat down and sighed wishing there was a flask of mead in his hand.

the sea snake took marry by surprise but she quickly to the moment to begin aq song, the lute's strings moved fast but went to a universal beat that made anyone want to fight, her music alone portrayed the state of the battle, she was surprisingly calm, especially knowing that her ninja guardian was not with her, but she played none-the-less. The rain beat down on her and her hair was long since in strains and her journey woman's cloths seemed to have gone down to a darker shade of brown but it seemed as thought it had no affect on her, save the music she played.

Kasumi rised herhead when she heard Marry's song, she didnt waste anytime and ran to the deck only to find a huge sea snake "holy mother of sh..." she threw some shurikens at the sea snake calling its attention and quickly climed the main mast, the end of the mast was broken and pointy "over here you sea worm!" Yelled Kazumi

The snake hisses, pulling its head back, ready to strike! Instead, it jerks to the side, surprised. A large shadow appears beneath the water surface. The ship rocks to the side as a giant creature passes beneath it, hitting the keel. The captain grips the cannon as his body falls to the side with Neuptune's Bounty. Water floods the deck, but enough falls off for the ship to straighten after a few long moments. Long, narrow jaws break through the surface, seizing the serpent's neck. A creature larger than the ship emerges from the murky depths. Its skin is rough, like a crocodile. It plunges head first into the ocean, claiming its squirming prey. Long, fin like appendages litter its tail. Water rises around the creature like small tidal waves. Luckily, waves curl beneath the ship, carrying it above the sea's clutches. Lester tightens his grasp on the cannon and railing, shouting for people to brace themselves. For a moment, people feel as though they're floating in mid air, but the sensation quickly subsides with a loud thud caused by bodies hitting the deck. The ship steadies after several nauseating seconds. The captain looks over the edge, his body is stiff. There aren't any shadows beneath water alerting the crew of any dangers. He slumps against the railing for a moment before laughing and lifting an arm in the air, "We should be good men, and ladies! Those scaly beasts leave ships alone. Continue forward, and we can take a caulk once we've left these waters."

Kazumi was hanging from the main mast, the battle was over and she did't have time to show off,even so Kazumi was happy, the sea snake was gone and the storm seemed to be passing too.The ninja climbed to the to and looked around, the view was beautiful "i see land!" she shouted to the captain

Marry sighed, sure she was happy that her friends were safe, and that no one died, but she had a reason to be sad, she didn't ever get to finish her song, she couldn't simply change the mood like that, it was postindustrial, or was it? she was to afraid to determined, instead she turned to Kazumi, seeing she had gotten past her fears.

"good job Kazumi" She yelled up to the barely clothed ninja

Kazumi looked down at Marry, "you did not finish the song!" she shouted and jumped down, when near the floor she used one of her chains attaching it to the mast using it as break. Kazumi landed next to Marry. "i'dlove to hug you, but my clothes are wet" she frowned cutely

"Yuh damn sea beasts! I'll fry yuh for dinna if yuh wreck mi ship!" Kristion bellowed from the helm as the ship was trashed around by the battle of the monsters. The only thing that kept him from being knocked off his feet was his iron grip on the wheel. He gritted his teeth and tightened his hands around the wheel as he used all his might to keep steady. It was when the two creatures seemingly disappeared that he unclenched his teeth and seemed to relax. "Back to di deep with you!" He called over the railing with a fist raised in the air. He shook his head before regaining his focus. "Should we find port captain?"

Celeste peered about the deck, searching out faces. It was still difficult. Storms did not disappear immediately taking hours to fully subside. They'd likely endure rain, high winds and high seas for some time yet. Bracing herself as the ship turned down into a wave trough Celeste looked first towards the aft castle and then to the fore castle.

"I do be thinking we lost Jenkins and Fitz," she declared after finishing the head count. "I also don't be seeing Alexi. Did she get back aboard?"

Moving across the deck, always ensuring she was holding on to something, Celeste began checking to see how many people were hurt.

Marry hugged Kazumi anyway, she was happy she was stronger than a little rain, if her song had to end with no real end, so be it a ninja who can deal with rain is far better. She wasn't sure what the snake was, or why it would attack them but she was glad it was gone, now all she needed was a new pair of clothes, she only had 2, and the other on was covered in slime from her last sea creature encounter, it was something disgusting that she wished she didn't have to deal with. As she stood there latched to the ninja she heard he stomach make noises, and realized how hungry she was, as she was always hungry, but she dare not ruin the moment. Instead she just let go and wiped off her instrument, she knew water was bad for it but she couldn't resist the the storm gave off a strong aura that she could easily turn into her music.

"boy I thought you'd never leave your little cabin" she said playfully
