Except her sentience wasn't PROGRAMMED. So it therefore no longer applies to her. She wasn't designed to be any more intelligent than any other combat simulator. Only difference is the coding was applied to a..."not-simulation" (I'm so eloquent when I'm unhappy with someone I'm talking to (on Skype, not in here. ^~^)). Nothing much different than some stuff that already exists (only slightly more complex). She just developed beyond what she was programmed to do. She didn't go AWOL first. She felt guilt first at being ordered to kill. I never said she killed after that, nor that she was ordered to after that.

Bio: Orphaned from a very young age, Jax knows nothing of her true origin, but proved from a young age to be a natural Engineering talent. At the age of 12 she was brought to the station with a group of travelers, and by showing her skills was able to secure a place in the Enginering department, quickly rising through the ranks. When she was 16, a power core overheated due to the miscalculations of another Engineer. Jax was able to contain the explosion to the core itself, and save many lives, but lost, her Right arm and several months of her life, spent unconcious and healing, in the process. After returning to work, Jax built her own cybernetic replacement, with a bit of help from the medical department. The arm allows her even more function than she had like tool attachments and storage compartments, as well as being stronger than her human arm. Due to it not being permanantly attached, it must rely on its own power, making her unable to use it for more than 6-8 hours a day.

Reason for joining the station: brought to the station by chance and earned herself a job by fixing a broken probe she found.

When all was said and done, and he'd had about all he could stand of hauling water and food from agriworlds to distant scientific outposts, John sold his ship to his first mate, one T. Mori, and traveled a bit on his own. After finding a decent bit of real estate on a newly-constructed space station, he decided to put down roots and open up a saloon- the Asimov Lounge, named in honor of an ancient Earth scientist and Biblical critic.

Reason for joining the station: Prime location for a taproom, I reckon.

Other: I wasn't sure what sort of Universe this was, exactly, and whether or not there was an 'Earth' for humans to be from, and all that. I went ahead and assumed there was- but if not, I can tweak my CS a bit.

Bio: John has been the pinnacle of average since the day he was born. Born to an average family, attended an average school and got average marks. Not talented, no outstanding potential, just average. Black hair, blue eyes, forgettable face no one saw John. If it were anyone else they would have gone crazy at their mediocrity and done something crazy like become a serial killer. John fantasized about that a couple of times, but truly didn't care enough to do anything like that. John instead went to work as a courier for the company Universal Exports. They hired him because he was exactly what they needed an average person all but invisible to society at large. John was hired and given the job of delivering packages where they needed to go. Some times they needed to go to a Gym locker, others under a park bench and even to a trash can in a zoo on the other side of the planet. And John went there and delivered that package. Sometimes they asked John to deliver a certain device in a certain object with high resonance in a certain room and then go back to his van and listen for days at a time at what that device could hear. Then John would go to a local branch of Universal Exports and hand over what the certain device in a certain object in a certain room recorded and the notes he took about the comings and goings from that place.

Eventually, after five years of delivering packages, Universal Exports let John go. John then got work with the government as a crime scene cleaner. This led John into many messy situations, in particular there was one scene where a body wasn't found for a week, fermenting in the middle of summer in an apartment. Eight years after cleaning up the messes of depraved, monstrous, beings that left John with a sour disposition, John applied for the Space Station (13) as a simple Janitor. It was a job that he was more than qualified for and one that saw him cleaning up simple vomit, not entrails. Most of the time, accidents still happen and someone still has to clean up the mess.

As John was setting out for his new job, he was contacted by Universal Exports once again who offered him payment to his old Universal account for him to deliver some packages around the station. Be it now, or later, the choice was John's, but they happened to mention that the longer the packages were there, the more constant the payment would be.

I wouldn't mind playing an alien, too. Problem for me would being MAKING them (I have a vast assortment of races I've made to choose from, I'd just have to do BIO for them, which would be less fun for me.)

My bio could have been a lot longer if I added in non-essential information, to be honest. I don't really like writing long bios, I'd rather have the character slowly reveal bits and pieces of their history as the RP goes along.

I wonder if I can do another character. Can't help but feel as if Kezal needs a partner to prevent him from just going 'fuck it' and torturing information out of suspects.

Well...there goes the intro I had planned on recreating from the original site for this character (which is also a recreation from memory).
Not that I'm complaining. I'm suddenly thinking of a River Tam type intro. Would involve someone letting her out, though...and for someone to know her...

If I may suggest something, perhaps after the box is opened, my character is alerted and he brings your character to someone who knows robots? Or something like that.

It's not obvious she's a robot except for her eyes. >.> To MOST tests she'd be human. Even has "blood." She'd just look highly augmented.
Would be more fun to have people think there's human trafficking. I'm not sure who it should be addressed to, though if it was to your character's partner...hmm...^~^
Or to the engineer? Force someone into the story~

Human trafficking could be something. I could work that in into the eventual conflict between your character and mine (At least, one I foresee). I'm having Glen be just a supporting character and someone to balance out the 'I'll shoot it till I get answers' attitude Kezal tends to have towards most things. XD

Getting someone else in would be good as well, though it will be up to them.

Either way I have to wait until someone opens the crate before I can start. ^~^
