Iron is a cool weakness, but at the same time, not something she necessarily has to follow. There are many different lore on faeries(The word fae actually makes me think of DnD. Half-ling even more so.) I wouldn't mind. But if it's a serious issue, maybe just a change of name would help? I think another good name for what Amara's race is could be Pixie. But again, that's just a suggestion.

Powers:

Plasma - Ryuu is a manipulator of various kinds of plasma, his primary source of plasma coming from himself. The otaku is able to envelop certain parts of his body with generated plasma, which looks like electricity to others. He is capable of controlling the plasma from his body, ranging from simply dealing a peculiar way of blunt damage to causing severe burns. When using enough power, he is capable of dealing strikes that naturally catch his opponents on fire for a few seconds, though he rarely ever does this. The maximum range Ryuu can send plasma from his body without any objects in-hand is around three meters. He sometimes uses this power to send straight lines of plasma to deal decent damage from a distance.

Nerfed Strawberry Lightwork - Ryuu is able to make plasma bend out of an inanimate object he carries. After extensive training in mastering some elements of his powers, Ryuu managed to tone down the lethal effects of the plasma he summons. While he does create weapons whenever he is ticked off or wants to have a go with some other dunce, the plasma can only go through whatever it crosses and provides physical feedback to a balanced extent. (Ex. A beam sword goes through people, but doesn't necessarily cut them, instead going through them and producing a knockback effect in whatever it hits)

Overload - When given enough time to do so, Ryuu is capable of summoning the energy of flames surrounding him and, with a lot of time in his hands, call upon the strength of the stars. While he rarely ever gets the time to gain plasma far, far away from the ground he is on, claiming extra plasma from any source can grant him a noticeable burst of energy. Ryuu usually has a constant supply of plasma in combat due to excitement and an exhilarated blood pressure, but can, and will, find chances to gain even more power to finish a task. He usually prevents himself from doing this when it is not necessary, however.

Abilities

Toradora Roundhouse Smash - Ryuu gathers a largely compressed amount of plasma on either his arm or weapon before he wildly delivers another attack. This particular attack will rapidly overheat any weapons it collides against for three seconds. Toradora is extremely useful against basic firearms, and can cause bladesmen to stop attacking for a short amount of time. This move can be used every minute, and the only downside it has is the short duration of overheating it offers.

Fate/Axe Kick - Ryuu connects any physical weapon on his foot if he has any- this action is optional, and will only increased the range of the ability. With a mighty swing, Ryuu channels a burst of energy around his raised foot. He then swings it down, activating plasma as it falls. The kick's range is approximately around five meters thanks to the addition of a thin line of plasma added into his kick. If he has a weapon, the kick's range is approximately around ten meters. The entire attack deals blunt damage, and will act as if a solid part of his body were smashing against something. Ryuu can use this ability consistently, somewhere around ten to eleven seconds, and tends to break defensive stances with this kick. It does, however, leave some parts of him open after the attack, but it makes up for the opening with the sheer power of the attack.

Blazblue Acapella - Ryuu lets out a brief Japanese battle chant, using either his weapon, fist, or foot to perform this ability. Without moving from his spot that much, Ryuu sends in a flurry of attacks from either his weapon or himself. Each strike will deal minor damage, but can easily accumulate to a high damage output when combined with several other strikes. After delivering about fifteen strikes, Ryuu takes half a second to channel his energy before dashing toward his target, piercing through the air like an arrow. This last strike will stun his opponent for two seconds, but can easily be dodged when timed correctly due to its fairly linear route. This ability can be cast every twenty seconds, but is usually not overused due to how open he is after the entire attack. Ryuu can cancel this ability in the middle of attacking, performing an evasive maneuver, and the cooldown will immediately begin ticking if he chooses to do so.

Crazy Tokyo Spin Attack - Ryuu swings his weapon in five 360-degree horizontal swings. While this is a fairly simple move, Ryuu's generated plasma range is increased to ten meters, and fifteen meters if he has a weapon. The plasma during this ability regularly deals blunt damage, but can become lethal if Ryuu chooses to use it that way. This ability can be used every two minutes.

Paradise Dreamworld - An unrevealed ability. Ryuu claims it's an awesome ability, but rarely ever uses it. Some people think it's a perverted ability he wants to use at the right moment.

Weaknesses:







Personality: He looks evil, he acts brash, and he is a one-of-a-kind doofus when it comes to common sense. Ryuu Yamauchi, at a first glance, is a confident and foolishly daring punk, but the fact that he is actually an otaku that is confident and daring is what gets people. Speaking ill of the shows and books he likes usually winds up having someone smashed into a wall, though his anger-inspired fighting spirit is incredibly tame within the academy. Ryuu does not openly show off his power, but when he does, he makes sure to always promote upcoming shows and manga that he anticipates greatly for.

Aside from his hobbies, Ryuu is surprisingly against discrimination of species. Whether it be a werewolf, a succubus, or maybe even a demon, as long as they have their own moral standards, he is generally lenient on not attacking those who do not attack him. While he certainly is dense to the core, his optimistic past proves to outshine the favored "punk" attitude he aims to gain, preventing him from enjoying fights with those who are not willing to. Ryuu aims to regain the lost, memorable qualities he had in his childhood and actually learn what friendship is like, though he still wants to enjoy a life filled with excitement... and beating stuff up.

Ryuu becomes incredibly confused on what to do when shy people are around him. He cannot properly utilize his outgoing personality on them without feeling a little guilty in breaking into their personal space. He is somewhat perverted when he talks about two-dimensional women.

Background: The general picture of an otaku is a four-eyed geek who is skinny to the bones, or chubbier than most people. Ryuu Yamauchi certainly fulfilled the four-eyed part, but he was nowhere near to being a frail geek. Hailing from a fairly rich household, Ryuu found himself fawning over anime and manga, but his tough attitude matured whenever his fellow elementary classmates made fun of him for it. Momentarily taking a break from watching one of his favorite television shows, Ryuu decided to toughen up in his small room, only to somehow fire a laser at his bed.

It turned out that he lived in a more... supernatural family. Of course, this instantly motivated him to train even harder, though for reasons that would have made many people slam their faces onto the palms of their hands (he wanted to become an anime character lol). Eventually, his mother halted his training, hastily deciding to make him control his own powers before he obliterated the home he lived in. It took him a while, for sure, but he ultimately triumphed and nullified the dangers of his unique power: the ability to generate plasma at his own will. It fit his burning character well, and he sure did want to show those who made fun of him who was the boss in the class.

Several years later, Ryuu became a feared middle school student. He had finally achieved the respects and fears from his classmates, but he felt empty. The fact that only he had unique powers in the school not only bored him, but made him lose interest in the entire idea of education. Slowly drifting away from his optimistic, sportsmanlike attitude, Ryuu eventually transformed into a street brawling teenager... who just loved quoting Gundam lines.

His parents decided that he was getting far too out of control and ultimately decided to send him to the Athalia Academy. They had barely gotten him a chance to enter the academy, and after bickering about it over and over again, Ryuu surrendered and allowed his parents to transfer him. But while he showed disinterest in transferring to an unfamiliar place, the thought of having people like him attending school did appeal to him.

And who knows? Maybe he would meet a two-dimensional girl there. Or maybe a bad%$& aggro dude like himself. Either way, he knew that this academy would be different from any other.

Personality: Plato is extremely curious about everything. This place, this solid world, is new to him and everything is exciting. He quickly learned how to act in social interactions from the old man who found him and took him in but he can still be awkward at times when around people.

Background: Humans are incredibly imaginative thinkers. Their hopes and dreams are powerful mental creations that reverberate through the underlying web of the cosmos and affect everything they touch even if humanity isn't sensitive enough to detect this. The power of these constructs created another dimension along side the one the humans know. This world is populated by ideas. It is fluid and ever changing. Over time these ideas, these constructs, began to become self aware as they were constantly fueled by the psychic energy of the physical human realm. Some of these ideas wanted to experience what these strange, solid creatures experienced so strongly. Thus, Plato was born. Three months ago, Plato was forced into this realm in the form of a young man. An unexpected consequence of the transference was that Plato had no memory of his time in the purely cognitive realm that he was born in. Luckily for him a kindly old man found him and slowly coaxed some memories back. The old man, being educated, decided to name the young man Plato in reference to the ancient philosopher's theory of forms. Through his coaxing, Plato was able to remember fragments of who he was and why he was sent here, but not everything came back and he is hoping that his interactions with humans at Athalia Academy will help.

Study: More than anything Plato will be studying humans.

Hmm, I was probably aiming away from him mimicking humans or vampires for that matter, in fact I'm sorry but vampires didn't even cross my mind as an option :O In my mind that kind of shapeshifting is different but I see what you mean :S If I'd of put animal mimicry or beast mimicry I'm guessing it would have been the same. The idea of him being able to is a rather interesting one, and I would be willing to accept it as a challenge with all the rules you stated.

As for Serena I realized my mistake there with that >.< I have gone through an altered it, though can probably change it this evening if you would prefer, I worded it terribly!

Name: Allan Lynch

Species: Drakkin, a human touched with dragon blood.

Powers: Allan carries the blood of a certain black dragon which allows him to gain all the abilities that it once had or has yet to discover. One thing for certain though is that Allan already possess enhanced physical conditioning as a result. To point out, he is able to summon thick black colored scales that further increases his durability (he already has tough skin), yet it can still be broken through by a great amount of force or by other means.

Having a dragon's blood inside him, it allows him to have the ability to sprout wings, a tail, claws and possibly shape shift himself into a full scale dragon. He is able to breath inextinguishable black colored flames out of his mouth which is more destructible than regular fire, considering how it can actually incinerate normal flames among with everything else.

Weaknesses: Prone to 'Dragon's Greed', a common problem among dragons which can be resolved by...err...doing things...that a normal dragon would not do...sharing...or even countering it with positive energy, but even that will be the same result. Alan is not the kind of person who would do those sort of things easily because of his stubbornness. Dragon's Greed will make Allan easily prone to aggression and develop a competitive attitude for dominance. It will also make him have a habit of collecting objects or even people as his prized possessions. Which will also force him defend those said possessions, the normal Allan does not give a crap about unnecessary things! It leaves him at a disadvantage if the the situation is right.

Aside from that, his inextinguishable flames can still be manipulated with (such as pushing it away with wind, pull it in, ect...). In human form, his scales are thinner on the front side of his upper body and basically where his joints are (back of legs, under the arm pits, elbow, ankles, ect...).

Personality: Allan is stubborn, greedy, egoistic, narcissistic, manipulative, discriminate...he has adopted all the traits of the dragon before him. He believes that he is perfect, that he is the chosen one for his bloodline and that everyone else is inferior to him. He may be a bit discriminate towards other races, but this does not mean he is ignorant on what they are capable of. Allan will still be able to keep his composure and avoid going in blindly on people he has no intel on, unless he is extremely confident that he could beat them just by judging on their appearance. People will rarely see him make small talk to others, but when he does, it usually means he is up to no good. He tends to keep to himself most of the time and not waste air on those who are not deemed worthy. His intimidating eyes discourages people from approaching him, however when they do...they can feel the darkness within his spirit to make them feel a frightening shiver go down their spine. Not necessarily the one who helps others unless there is something to gain that only benefits him.

The effects of Dragon's Greed will have a strong impact on his personality, honestly there is no telling what it can make him do. He could be forced to show a little compassion to counter its effects or it could make him more ruthless than before.

A fun way to tell if Allan is annoyed is to check one of the following signs.
1. Smoke
2. Heat
3. Fire

If all three are happening at once then you have succeeded in annoying a dragon, now panic.

Background: Born in a small clan which passed down the blood of a dragon...Allan became the first child born with the king's blood. It was said to be a prophecy, that the king would lead their clan into greatness once again. The clan believed that it is their divine right to rule and Allan grew up believing every word of it. Allan has spent the majority of his life training and studying in order to achieve his goals...to prove that dragons are the best race in the world...to prove that he is the best in the world. It was not long until his clan managed to regain land from neighboring clans under his leadership. These successful triumphs has made Allan realized that he was destined to do this and that he is the only one who can lead the clan to the promise land. It was time to strike somewhere bigger...Athalia Academy...he has heard rumors that this school was supposed to home students of different races from across the globe. It was the perfect opportunity for him to prove to everyone of why he is superior.

Study: Classes are not worthy of his time.

We don't have to do this by the book, we just need to clearly explain what our characters limitations are. I think being that her power is nature related, a weakness to fire would be good. My own suggestion for you is to add a bit more to her weaknesses however. It doesn't just have to be physical, it can be psychological. My character's weaknesses are Water, Pretty Ladies, and his own Arrogance. Make it your own, just make sure it's a bit more balanced.

According to the type of Fae *I* was going for is that, she hasn't been exposed to many 'Fae' beliefs and being that she is only half Fae, she's not allergic to iron nor does she have a fear of it. She has spent most of her life among humans. I was certainly not basing it off of any Pokemon lore.

I will add in another sort of weakness aside from fire.

If my characters race/lore still continues to be an issue, please let me know.

To sum it up, plasma is an essential source of matter. I think there were four kinds, and the one Travis Ryuu uses is thermal plasma. Basically, the kind of plasma he uses is the same kind of energy within lightning bolts. Plasma is generated when enough heat is generated, and usually acts as the core to natural fires and etc.; fires and lightning are intensely powered up by these hot lil guys.

Ryuu's plasma energy was intentionally nerfed by himself due to how dangerous it could get. After all, it's as hot as the core of a large fire. I might add in (to his CS) how the thermal heat is not exactly the same temperature like it should be.

Okay, this is a bit rough, but it should give you an idea. Let me know of any big changes I need to make :)


His bright green irises are 'shattered' hence the race name. Imagine a plate dropped straight down, cracks lancing out from the center, but still roughly circular.
Name: Harrison Glint
Age: 17
Gender: Male
Species/Race: Shattered, a being able to glimpse the past though objects.
Powers:
-Fall back: able to see the history of any object he touches. Limited to objects that are dead. He can see the past of the wheat that made the bread, but not the past of a rose still growing.

-Channel: Able to commune with people who had a strong affinity with an item (i.e. say he finds a lucky charm of Napoleon, Harrison would be able to have a talk with Napoleon as if he was standing next to him). Harrison usually tries to find things owned by interesting people. Harry tends to learn from these people and has collected them accordingly.

Weaknesses: able to see the history of any object he touches, sometimes unable to not see it's history. It's a pain when Harry wants a burger or something. Kleptomaniac, Harry tends to collect and accidentally borrow forever knick knacks and odd bits and pieces.

Personality: Harry has lived a few lives through the eyes of others in his short 17 years, and this sometimes causes him to act like a very old man. Things sometimes confuse him and he forgets where he is, other times he absently is staring into space and is watching something from eras ago. Sometimes he looks like he's talking to himself, but he's actually talking to Houdini who is trying to teach him how to escape hand-cuffs, or is fiddling with a brush Da Vinci used and is learning to paint with. Harry has trouble holding conversations, but will try his hardest to maintain it.

Background: Harry was almost immediately placed in an insane asylum when he was born. Talking to yourself generally makes you a freaky kid, but when you say "Houdini taught me how to pick locks" people get a little concerned. Then you make a little statue of David in preschool, then things get really bad when you find some old Bruce Lee nun-chucks and beat someone half to death with them at the age of six. Yeah, a normal life has always been out of the question for Harry. Harry wandered, traveling the world as a little homeless kid. Hitching rides, performing tricks and picking pockets became natural life. Things got weird when he picked one pocket of a tall man that opened a whole new world for Harry. For a brief instance he understood magic and how is held the world together... and then it was gone. In his hand was a note saying that if he wanted to not see a dead cow every time he ate a steak he should go to Athalia Academy. So he did, along with Houdini, Da Vinci, Alexander the Great and Frank Sinatra all in the form of memories from assorted bits and pieces.

Study: Piano, Art and Cooking. Also History, Harry could probably teach it if you took him to an antique store.
