I don't think I've ever done that, at least, not intentionally. I'm pretty sure I've probably used a picture from an anime/manga in a RP somewhere without knowing it's actually from a published work though. XD

@Nero I don't know whether I love him or if he scares the shit out of me. I really don't know what he's going to do with Lily but you've got me frightened. xD
It'll be interesting though. As far as powers go, some clarification could go a long way. Lemme just go over some powers.

Demonic Purge: Bael conjures masses of demonic energy into his hands and releases it as powerful blast. When hit by this, the person's skin is burned, but not burned literally: Their soul is burned. The skin turns into a pitch-black color and the muscle in the particular area becomes unusable as if that part of the body has been taken away. This can be restored by any angelic magic, or any sort of healing which is beyond physical.

As NarayanK said ( I think.) Just be specific on his limitations on this power. I know in your weaknesses you said something about him being weak in his powers but still, tad bit OP on this one.

Spectral Torture: Using his demonic magic, Bael creates chains which attempt to physically restrain any foe, the chains burn with demon fire, hurting both physically and spiritually, like his demonic purge spell. The longer someone is held by them, the more it will hurt: The pain becomes so much, that the person starts to allucinate due to the demon's influence, sometimes seeing things such as a friend dying, a family member killing another, that sort of... obscure thing. This takes a toll on Bael's energy, so he can't hold someone for too long.

I like it, but just be wary about people going with your power. If you do it to them, just be aware that they may or may not go with it. That's just how people can be. I hope all of you generally go with what's been handed to you. Just again, no killing without permission. It's up to the character being held as to what he/she 'sees' if they see anything.

Shadowstep: The ability to step into the shadows. By this, it means that Bael can merge himself with shadows in order to completely conceal himself from sight. This can only be done in the shadows, natural or not. Though any source of light in said shadows will reveal him.

I'd really like to avoid powers like these if at all possible. But I'll allow it so long as he can't do it for extended periods of time and he can't travel great distances through the shadow. He can travel as far as he can run from one shadow to the next provided they are connected and again, need to set a limit on how long he can stay hidden.

Shadowform: Bael changes from physical to spiritual form, becoming a mass of floating shadow. He's unable to cast spells in this form, but he's also invunerable to physical contact or attacks. This is his travelling method, as he can pass through objects, wall, persons and everything while in this form.

I don't have anything against this one, just add a timer and we're all good.

Overall, I like him. Make those changes to his powers and he's all good! :)

Can't tell you how much I love Manga. I use MangaFox for all my reading pleasures. Plus I have an app on my phone so I usually read from it at night or something.

I don't usually use images of people from manga that I've read because I feel I'm too biased to based a character off of that image. If I use one I know nothing about, I can create an original character that is my own based on that image.

For some reason, MangaFox licensed nearly everything here. ;_;???? I was forced to stop using it a few months ago.

And some manga recommendations are definitely appreciated! I haven't been reading them that much because... I dunno, nothing really caught my interest, I guess, and that MangaFox going ham on me with the licensing. One-Punch Man has me hooked right at the moment (OP guy who cares about groceries more than fighting lol), but other than that, I literally know nothing among new, big hits atm.

How long does this last? It sounds as if it lasts for a pretty long time ad can be used freely, seeing how he can technically hide behind anything that is a solid image. I don't know what the last phrase in particular means (pardon me, English is honestly not my first language ;_;).

Shadowform: So you can pass by anything? How often can he do this? I don't think it'll provide any counterplay to those who actually want to hit him if he simply keeps that form on, and seeing how this is his travelling method (dunno if this is only for combat travel or not), it sounds as if he can remain invulnerable for a fairly long time without losing a massive amount of energy.

Spectral Torture: This is a pretty cool ability. I dunno, I just wanted to point that out lol

Demonic Purge: This particular ability is what I'm worried about the most. While it is a fairly simple ability with a consequence fully present, there's are no consequences for Bael utilizing this ability.

Demon Form: That's a freaking awesome transformation. Again, I just wanted to point that out.
I don't know if it's just me, but the ability kit he carries currently contradicts the fact that constant use of his abilities weakens him. Listing out the side-effects would certainly help balance out some things, because I'm sure you did not intentionally make him slightly overpowered. ^^

Basically, I think you should add in notes on what happens to Bael when he uses each ability. But maybe I'm just nitpicking way too much, I dunno. His personality seems fitting of his character, and his background is different from most of the C.Sheets and pretty awesome. :D

btw, I love dat appearance, though I don't know who that exactly is. o_o

Anyway! @HylianRose and Narayak, I've done the changes accordingly, limiting each ability on the power section itself. He shouldn't be too overdone, now! If theres anything else or if I forgot something, tell me u.u

By the way, I use safebooru to search my characters. I knew that the guy's name was Yato because it showed under the tags when I found him, but I had no idea of what he or what the manga he was part of was before actually picking him.

Aaaaaaaaaaand, Hylian! About that ability, the chains. Well, I will probably PM someone whenever I decide that I should use it in order to discuss, it's not like I will have Bael walk around going; "FREEZE! CHAINS!" for no reason, and I kind of doubt that a fight intense enough for him to rely on his spells will happen so soon.

• Summon Illyen, the Chaotic: Ezra releases demonic energy from a pendant around his neck, siphoning the Chaotic into existence through a spell of dark power. Illyen, the Chaotic (shown below in hider) is personified recklessness and anarchy galore, creating destruction wherever he moves. The Chaotic has his own pyromantic abilities, able to summon large meteors and waves of flame with just a snap. Currently, Ezra can only contain his presence for twelve second at his full power, but he has a way of keeping Illyen out as a miniature version of the Chaotic, void of the impending destruction and volley of flame. A little chibi of Illyen, if you will.


Weaknesses:
• Fire: He has a indefinite fear of fire, ironic, since he summons a giant fire inducing demon and all. He's tried to get over this fear using Illyen's lesser fire abilities, but it didn't go quite as well as anyone would have though, as we all know fire burns things. However, Ezra feels it's a weakness he can get over. Eventually.

• Mirrors: A common fear among most demonologists, he begins to hallucinate if he stares into a mirror too long, thinking he transforms into a demon in front of his own eyes. This fear causes him to avoid any reflective surfaces, especially when around people, as he does not want pity, or them to overreact to his ailment.

Personality: TBR

Background: Ezra Grant was born in a manor on the eastern side of Germany into a family of powerful demonologists from Great Britain. They were disguised as a circus troupe, traveling the world to entertain the masses, or their real reason, spread demonic seals across the world.

Ezra gained his demon when he was just starting out in the circus as a sword swallower, which to this day he greatly denies, for personal reasons. Illyen came to him in a dream before being absorbed into the pendant, baffling his family members, seeing how a young boy with no talents revealed so far could contain a high powered destruction monger like the Chaotic. He didn't stay long within the family business since they dropped him off at Athalia Academy, where he's resided for 6 years. If you ask him, he will not admit to despising his parents, though sometimes you can catch him cursing them for leaving him in the Academy.

I'm still pretty new to roleplaying, only starting last fall, but so far my Sasha from Kalmaysia is kind of like that for me, though to a far lesser degree. I didn't bring her in here because I wanted to have a character with more...depth. It's possible that Sasha's personality sprinkled with a little of Carmen's combined with Carmen's ability set might be that perfect, unchangeable character for me. I'm really attached to Sasha but also really attached to Carmen's trumpet and her less perfect (and thus more interesting) personality.

@ Aoi Sora I actually have no problems with him. I actually really like him. A lot actually. A very nice character. Can't wait to see him in action. ~

I'll add him to the List tonight because if I do it tomorrow he'll get buried in OOC most likely.

^ This. Constructive feedback is what tends to shape my characters correctly, so everyone shouldn't be afraid to give feedback! Also, you're not being rude at all. I've seen incredibly serious GMs, so it's good for a change to have such a lenient GM for once!

So I finally got an idea for my female character, and it's becoming quite related to a pirate bay.

@NarayanK I'm glad. I find that the more serious and.. strict a GM is, the less the roleplayers feel they can be creative. I want you guys to have the freedom to RP as you like without fear of messing anything up. You literally almost can't mess anything up. (If that sentence even makes sense...) As long as you're okay with taking advice and using it and being respectful of the creative freedom of other RPers, you're pretty golden. I like being lenient. People are generally less angry at me that way. xD

I personally have nothing against vulgar language. I actually cuss quite a bit and I try to censor myself in my character's speech because I say some pretty vulgar things that I don't think my characters would ever say. For example, Lily.
