Holding his helmet under his arm, Eddy opened the door of the warehouse and walked into an abandoned alleyway, he walked through a maze of alleyways until he came to a sharp stop at an enclosed space at the end of the alleyways. Setting down his helmet on a nearby crate he sat down with a sigh and looked around, the place was deserted, safe from prying eyes. Showing her his PDA he spoke, "I've got the money, I hope the weapon is undamaged."

MindWarp quietly trailed behind as the buyer lead her into a network of alleyways until they finally came to a stop in an enclosed alley. While he took a seat, MindWarp casted an illusion as an added precaution. They were rendered invisible by a copied illusion of the back wall, they could see if any one approached but nobody would see them, only an alley wall.

“Trust me, if it was damaged we’d know.” MindWarp assured him humorously, but there was nothing funny about it. If the devices had been damaged then they would most assuredly be dead. She placed the briefcase on the ground close to the buyer and knelt behind it, unclipped the two latches and opened the briefcase. Inside revealed three identical devices of polished silver, a black spongy material keeping them safely in place.

“As I said earlier before we were so rudely interrupted. As a special deal you are receiving three for the price of one. Now these bad boys are called Gacid Bombs,” she paused with a frown, “I didn’t come up with that name, anyway, the gas is quite lethal. Once inhaled it has an acidic quality which will burn through the walls of the lungs and cause some serious internal damage. Cool huh?” She looked up at him with a cheeky grin and quickly back down as she revealed a hidden compartment in the lid of the brief case and pulled out a small cylinder casing which matched that of the three devices polished metal. Before continuing in her explanation such as how to arm them, she looked back up at him.

“When are you looking at using them? They are new and I haven’t yet gotten the chance to see them in action.” She asked, insinuating that she come along with him. “You’ll definitely know how they work if I show you…”

Eddy observed the devices with interest. They would suit his plan nicely, 3 of them being even better. It would take top long to learn their layout and functionalities, he would have to bring her with him. She seemed to be intelligent enough to handle herself and would be useful as backup "I'll be using them fairly soon, you will be helping me with the functionalities, there cannot be any screw ups with this, especially with the targets," Eddy pressed the button on his PDA. "With your assistance, I will be holding a building hostage, gathering as many people within the area as possible and detonating all 3 at once." Playfully, Eddy tossed one of them in his hand and looked at his reflection in the chrome. "You're going to need a gas mask."

Zed's breathing slowed down as he exhaled painfully. Suddenly, a sharp pain originated from his left lung as he began to breath profusely. Somehow, the bullet was being forced away from his lung, as if something was pushing it out. It was a painful journey originating from his lung to his throat... At last, Zed spat out the bullet, red with his blood. It seems that when he was struck with the bullet, the Muog evolution was already pushing it out and healing the wound in his lung. Niesha's heal sealed the deal which effectively ejected the bullet and closed the wound, although there could still be dangers of it reopening.

Zed began to breath hard as he took in loads and loads of air. He coughed again as he spat out the excess blood. His system began to stabilize as he lifted his pale hand to Niesha's face.

"Thank you." Zed spoke weakly as he smiled. "I owe you so much." Zed chuckled as his hand fell weakly to the grassy floor. Zed noticed that his bandages were rip apart, practically leaving him quite naked from neck to the waist, with only some straps covering parts here and there. The lad stood up weakly as he wobbled, it seems Niesha's healing prowess were able to speed up the regeneration of his hands. Although weak, his hands were able to do complex tasks like gripping and stuff.

Zed entered his shack as he got his bandages and began to wrap himself again slowly... It seems they had some villains already... They were defeated only because Zed could not control himself... They had a chance of winning, but he blew it.

Zed stepped outside of his shack, wrapped again in complete bandages. He looked at Niesha as he felt his blood calm down... He didn't know why... but he didn't dislike it. Niesha was like a relaxant.. was that part of her powers? Zed didn't know. What he knew, however, was that they were in great danger. If those two villains were just that adamant in protecting that briefcase... then Zed can only guess that it was something very dangerous and important. The key was in that briefcase.

"Niesha. It seems we have a problem. That briefcase was some sort of a weapon which they intend to use... They were just that adamant in protecting it. We have to swipe it away from them. However, at my current situation... I'd prove to be more of a hazard than a use. I still have their scents but it is quite weak. We'll need more allies if we want to stop it." Zed spoke in his same soft voice as he sighed heavily.

Niesha let out a breath she didn't know she had been holding when Zed spoke. She was relieved that he was okay, pleased she hadn't created disaster by using her powers. She had never been particularly strong with the healings abilities of her powers. She let out tne light she was still holding, feeling weary as she stood.

As Zed did something in his hut?, she gathered her bearings. She looked about. She thought on what had happened in what she guessed was merely a few hours, probably less. She realised she had said she would meet katherine, the house! She hesitated, but she needed to see this through. Hopefully, Katherine wouldn't wait to long. Maybe she was caught up in something as well. It seemed that the whole city was crazy at the moment.

niesha had thought on what she had done today. She had used her power in a fight to challange villians. Sje laughed softly to herself "you wanted this" she muttered, "great first day for a hero. You don't even have anything to hide who you are" too late for that now. Not tnat it mattered.

She looked back when Zed came out, and smiled.

"More allies. I don't know anyone else with powers, or any heros" she said with a sigh, "but the city appears to be ha ing trouble. af the moment, maybe theres some heros out there"

MindWarp couldn’t hold back her smile. She was finally going to see the devices in action. She was going to finally do something other than being a villainous vender. Today could actually be a good day.

“Oh that sounds exciting!” She exclaimed earnestly while maintaining a quiet voice. “Acquiring a gas mask won’t be a problem. There is actually one in here.” Just then her phone went off as she received a text. Reading it, she was told that the transaction was successful. “Thank you for your patronage.” She replaced the cylinder she took out from the briefcase and then held the whole thing up so that he could place the device he had inspected with a playful toss, back into its slot. Once it was in she stood up and gave him the option of carrying the briefcase if he so chose.

"#Scipio, are you sure about this? Mentoring the boy?"

The symbiote questioned its host as Abaddon swung through the city, stopping to cling to the side of a building.

"#Call it symbiotic instinct, but I usually have bad feelings about having things like protégés around. Maybe if we were like the 'virtuous' heroes, the risk of betrayal would be lessened. But we aren't. We walk a fine line between hero and villain, killing for pleasure and to terrorize but also to help society. How much of threat would a child who kills for no reason than mere entertainment be to us?"

Abaddon scaled the wall, jumping over the rooftop ledge to rest on the top of the building. The symbiote raised some very good concerns, ones that he thought about while deciding whether or not to mentor Lass or not.

"Call this human instinct.... ugh, no. Call it conscience, but I feel that maybe some of our special teachings would do the kid some good. He needs at least a sense of direction, and I intend to give it to him. When and if be turns on us... we'll know what to do."

"#Very well..."

Abaddon crawled inside the building, which was actually the building where his apartment was located in. He made his way to the door, already in his normal human form to not scare anyone. Using his key card, Scipio opened the door to his room, which was large and rather nice apartment. He then shut the door, with it automatically locking.

"I need a shower... and a nap... so much has happened, it's already 3 o'clock..."

He headed off to do just those things. ..

Zed nodded as Niesha replied. "Sorry for dragging you into this. I never expected something to escalate to this level. For now, you might want to keep a low profile. The civilians know our existence... It's best that they don't get into anymore panic. I'll patrol this district for now to make sure that those villains don't do anything rash. You might want to get some rest... It's already 3 o'clock. Again, thanks for everything you've done today." Zed smiled as he tightened his bandages, the wounds are still sore but at least they were closed. He took care in breathing as to avoid his lung rupturing from a not-so-completely state of recovery.

"You might have some due appointments before joining the scrap... I doubt they'd like to be kept waiting. Just keep being vigilant, and if you happen to see them again, do not attempt to take them on by yourself. They are far too dangerous to tackle alone." Zed spoke as he decided on something. "I'll be travelling to the other sectors to find allies who might want to help us. Hopefully, the heroes now are still as warm as before." he said as Zed headed to the city proper.

He had planned to go to the other sectors in the hopes of finding someone who would be willing to aid them to stop a terrible threat. If the heroes now are what they were before, however, if they were all lukewarm... then severe death tolls will rise soon.

Niesha followed, since she would be headed that way in any case. She didn't reply for a few moments, before saying "you didn't drag me into this, I would have dragged myself into it. Ever since my mother was murdered, I decided I wanted to become a hero. You just gave me a opportunity to do it" she said with a laugh. She brushed her hair back as it swept across her facd, wishing she had another hair tie.

"I do have a couple of things I need to do, which will, hopefully, be dome quickly. Those two aren't good news, and they need to be dealt with. So I will do the things I need to do quickly, and then see what I can do to help" she continued. She fell silent for a minute or two, contemplating,

"No mafter what happens, something nas to be done to protect this place, the people. I'm not going to stand by while people are hurt, and killed" she looked about them, then started to hewd towards her mothers house, "I'll cstch you later! Stay safe!"

The alarm on her phone went off. Three o'clock time to find the house Niesha offered her. It had been a busy day. She had seen two explosions and three people welding powers. She had a good start to the article that would start off her new career. Now she needed to get started on her hero persona. She needed an alter ego. Someway to keep her hero side and writer side separate. But that would have to wait until tonight when she sat down to write about her day. Katherin looked at the directions on the phone. "Alright Ladybug lets go see what our new home looks like."

SCORN

An otherworldly spacecraft entered the atmosphere above the sixth sector with a streak of red following closely behind it. The alien ship wasn't the one leaving behind this trail, however. Rather, it was being chased by the real individual making the streak, Scorn. A member of the Red Lanterns, Scorn, a human from earth, was returning to his home planet a few years after scouring the galaxy with his fellow Lanterns in search of injustices to punish.

"Look at them, how they flee from my rage," he growled, fiery red vapor sputtering from his mouth as he spoke. "I hear the blood of hundreds of creatures cry out for vengeance... it is no wonder my ring led me back to this place where this ship was orbiting in secret..."

Scorn was now literally an arm's reach away from the spacecraft, giving him just the distance he needed to spew an energized stream of rage, napalm blood. The material burned through the metal of the ship as easily as acid burning through paper, giving Scorn an opening through which to enter the ship.

"Got you..."

The reptilian creatures on board the ship snarled and spoke an alien language as they rushed to retaliate.
"A Red Lantern! Kill it! Kill it before it kills us!!"

"That won't be possible," Scorn said mockingly as he spewed another stream of napalm on a group of approaching Alts. He was able to understand what they were saying through use of his ring's universal translation system... not that he needed any help in figuring that their shouts of alien words were basically saying, "KILL HIM!"

Another group of the aliens fired at him with energy weapons, blasts which were all blocked by a shield of red light.

"No use," Scorn growled as he released blasts of red rage energy from his ring. The Red Lantern continued his attack, spewing napalm on several aliens and occasionally creating monstrous constructs to devour the rest, leaving behind smoldering and bubbling skeletons. He was so caught up in slaughtering them all, that he nearly forgot this ship was pretty much going to make a crash landing.

1...2...3.... CRASH

The ship rammed into the earth below, creating small craters as it bounced and skidded to a stop. It really must have had a remarkable composition to withstand all that. After a couple of minutes after it halted, a glowing red figure emerged from the wreckage.

"Ugh..."

Still alive and healthy, Scorn had a few wounds, but none too grievous to require attention save for one or two.

Niesha didn't have w vehicle of any sort. She normay just used her power to get her places or walked, but after today's events she decided that it might be better to walk. She jogged down a few streets, rummaging through her bag as she did so. She was relieved to find the keys she had had cut. That was a good start.

when she arrived at the house, she snatched up mail from the letter box, reminding herself she needed to redirecf it, then cursing remembering her moving truck, she dialed the number she had for the truck, unlocking the door to the house.

The house was made of red brick, its roof iron, it had two stories-up1stairs were the two bedrooms and a bathroom, downstairs kitchen, living room, laundry and a toilet. The garden was well kept, and the house was clean.

she pushed ooen the door just s someone answered the phone. She looked about, it really was empty. Oh there was the furniture, which she f0hd decided to leave in the house and get nw furniture for herself, but it was emoty. Her mother wasn't there to great her, no sounds of cooking or baking. No mum feelimg.

"Hello? Hello?" The voice from her phone shocked niesha.

"Oh, uh, sorry, this is Niesha,, I'm running a littke late, and just wanted to say, the doors open, just shove it all in the living room, I'll deal with it later, and will swing by to give you the rest of your payment" she didn't wait for an answer, hanging up. She went to the kitchen, taking out the cookies from her bag, she set them on a plate. Then thought she should go clean up.

In the bathroom, she saw that she lookrd a little worse for wear. Covered in dust and dirt, her clothes ruffled, scratches and bruises covering her body-her hands and wrists the worse from falling with the sheild. She grimaced moving them. Sore. Muscle damage most likely. That would take hours to heal, and she woukd still have bruises. The faint scar along her neck was the only injury Zed had given her, and for that she was greatful.

She was a mess. She went through what had been her room, pleased at being able to find a few clothes she hadnt packed, that she had forgotten about, and a hair tie.she quickly xhanged, washi g her hands and face, then running her fingers through her hair and tying it up. She looked at the result in the mirrior. A bit better. She shoved her clothes in her bag, kicking of her shoes so she was no longer tracking dirt through the plae, tidy up a bit, and hoped that Katherine wouldn't notice, or wouldn't inquire about the bruising.

She went around turning on appliances, shoving the small tv onto a random channel, turning on the kettle just in case Katherine wanted anhot drink, and basically made sure everything was running okay in the house. She then sat down, taking ojt the contact she had had written up, setting it down with a pen.she had already decided in a pricr and signed where she needed to, if Katherine thought the orice was too cheap, that was too bad, she didn't need much more income, and Katherine cleanly needed the money. She thought 300 a month was fine for anhouse that was otherwise just going to be sitting tnere empty.

she realised she'd put the tv onto a news channel, and turned, liztening into aol the choas that seemed to be happening. She hoped Zed would be okay.

It hadn't taken long for Jacque to return home after the altercation between the three supers had subsided. He'd been on his couch, shifting his attention between counting the money in his bag, and trying to figure out the value of the jewelry with the help of his iPad which was wrapped in a waterproof case to allow him to use his liquid arm. A series of loud explosions in the air followed by a multiple tremors instantly pulled his attention away from the loot, "What the hell..." the boy muttered as he dropped his prizes and sauntered over to the window. There was something very strange in the distance, a like some sort of air craft, though not one he'd ever seen in his lifetime. Through the smoke of the wreckage Jacque could see a glowing red figure rise from out of the wreck. Despite his instincts telling him otherwise, Jacque felt he had to go figure out just what that strange thing was, though not without some preparation first. He quickly ran into his room and pulled out and filled the larger camel pack he kept for bigger jobs as well as his machete, there was no way of telling if that thing was hostile after all, and he'd be damned if he ended up getting caught unawares. Jacque ran back into his living room and raised his window, then leapt out of it, using the water arm he still had in place to shut the window before wrapping it around a street light to keep him from plummeting to the ground. He was soon making his way down the street, and towards the strange glowing figure.

Roxy was pleased with her toxin. It was perfect for what she wanted. It would make alot of people sick, but wouldn't kill anyone. She could almost see the headlines. It was time to tell the town she was in town. The best way to spread her toxin was by contact so now it was time to go mingle with the masses. As she walked Roxy bumped into as many people as possible. People on the street saw only a rude biker chic making her way through town. None of them were aware that when she bumped them they were being exposed to her very special toxin.

Scorn made his way out of the crashed spacecraft and looked at his wounds. Two at least were rather serious by human standards, but Scorn had lost his humanity a few years ago now, hadn't he? He was a Red Lantern now, and it would certainly take much, much more damage to his being to actually be considered worthy of attention. The napalm blood was seeping through the wounds, dropping onto the metal and earth below with sizzling sounds.

"The rage will heal it over time..."

Scorn looked at the destroyed craft. Could this be it? The reason why his rage had led him back to earth? No... no, a ship full of murderous beasts was bad, but not bad enough to warrant the attention of cities or planets full of similar natured beings...

"Something more approaches this way... it's far from this planet still, but I can feel the rage growing in me as it nears..."

Katherin pulled into the driveway of the house that she was directed to. She sat in her Voltzwagen double checking to make sure that google maps had lead her to the right place. "Well looks like this is it Ladybug. Our new home. I think it looks like just the place to start our new chapter."

As Katherin climbs out of the red Beetle she studies the house. It was just what she had pictured this morning. The neighbors weren't too close. She would be able to practice using her fire here without endangering anyone. She hoped Niesha wouldn't regret agreeing to allow her to rent it.

As Jacque came closer to the strange figure he was able to make out that whatever the thing was at least seemed humanoid, though the claws, strange acidic liquid dripping from it and ominous glow suggested otherwise. Jacque took to the ground and halted around twelve meters away from the thing, it was best not to get too close lest the creature become hostile. "Oi...Hey...whats the deal with you? You alright uh...guy?" He called out cautiously. Something about this creature unsettled Jacque, it seemed to radiate something besides the strange red glow that made him apprehensive, and to make matters worse, the thing reeked of blood, the odor strong enough for Jacque to pick up even from so far away.
