I don't know why, but with Lucius' little character titles for each section of his post, the way he made DEMONS! all caps with an exclamation point made me giggle.

FFFFFFFFFACKING DEMONS. Also, unfortunately for the Dining hall patrons Alaira isn't quite the indiscriminate protector Grey is, so it's likley she would've bolted to the infirmary the second this bullshit happened.

I remember reading at some point that many demons don't have strong mental wards, something having to do with pride. Is that true, or am I misremembering?

Also, Ryonara, do you want to collab our posts until Ssarak and Meirin meet up with someone else?

Some Archdemons don't for pride reasons and demons in general don't unless they're also Psychomancers or have special training. For all intents and purposes, the demons you all are fighting and could fight don't have very powerful mental wards, if any at all. I will specify which demons if any has wards of notable importance.

Also hi Witch. There's fighting going on now if you want Haklo to get involved with that.

As I can summarize:

In the Infirmary there are Mar, Athalus, Lyn, Locas, and a few other healers/soldiers fending off demons. The main threat to the PC's is the Amorphous Demon, who is highly resistant to the point of immune to physical attacks, but extremely weak to elemental attacks.

In the dinning hall there are a large amount of demons that Tyrael and Satori are trying to deal with, but there is also Zaad, who is under the effects of a rage poison. There is also a large demon leading a small band of Vexing Demons who is attacking Leith, and a Abomination Demon who's going to swing at Alaria. The large demon is pretty much just a giant smashy mook, but he's very strong and has decent magical resistance as well as a mind for tactics. The Vexing Demons are strong too, but otherwise have the endurance and intelligence of imps. They're a threat in their high numbers. The Abomination Demon is also just a smash mook but with higher physical defense and can ignore pain.

Outside Ssarak and Meirin are being swarmed by Moth Demons. In the gardens Coco should be attacked by a Mutant Demon, and in the court yard there's a Masked Demon. Moth demons are weak but fast and can do some nasty damage with their stingers, and the boss is able to communicate with them and spit acid. But each moth alone are fairly dumb and don't know how to coordinate either each other to be effective without a boss to order them around, not to mention that they don't have any wards. The mutant demon is also fast and hits hard, but has a mortal body. She could be killed pretty easily. Masked demon is another big smash demon, but thanks to having multiple faces, it can see all around itself. Sneaking attacking him is impossible.

see, this is why you dont trust demons for anything. They will eat yoyr facre first chance they get. also why golems and regular staff is preferable

Is it alright if Cynn goes out to the gardens?
Also, Fallen, mind checking your PMs?

Hey Lucius, are we allowed to handle these situations as we see fit? Within the realm of semi-realism, of course. Otherwise, I need to collab with you to take them down :p

If you don't mind Annabeth tagging along soon after. That way I don't need to worry too much about micromanaging.

Seems like Cynn and Annabeth are about to come to backup Coco, but for Lem I'd suggest that you'd run unless you want to wait for someone else to come help him. My suggestion for fighting the Masked Demon is taking advantage of terrain and stabbing it's faces.

I was thinking on having one of Lian's friends arrive to find him hiding in a stall. Would bows and arrows be a relatively good way to attack its faces and damage it until it dies? I would think it's slow enough on its feet so that both Lian and his friend can barely keep out of its range.

Also, I'm fine with the backup to Coco. Will we go to a pad for that? :p

Yeah, it would take a lot, but it would be the easiest way. I wouldn't say that the beast is slow per say, but don't let it build momentum. You'd need to kill each face if you want to put it down, unless you can rip a hole through it's chest or something. Don't know how you'd do that, but just an idea.

Ssarak and Meirin will just need to run, or fly as the case may be, to arm themselves. There isn't any real way for them to kill all the moths. After they are inside, though, I suppose we'll need to figure out a destination. Where would we not be allowed to go?

Aside from the archmage's room, it's pretty free reign. Hell, you could try to escape the college if you feel like you need to. I'd suggest that you head over to the courtyard and try your hand at facing the Masked demon after the two of you arm up. Ssarack may also wish to try to take air superiority and take out those moths, though how you do that is up to you. Just remember: kill any demon you coke across. Not even Tyrael's own demons could be trusted.

Alright. What would be the most likely outcome if characters run into soldiers from one of the two armies?

Infirmary seems a bit over crowded so I think I'll avoid that

Dining hall seems a good option and so does the outside though no one seems to be going up against the masked demon according to your summary, Lucius
