Milo watched everyone intently, he didn't mean to be anti-social he just had a lot on his mind. He was just evicted pretty much since his parents death and he planned to follow in their tracks one step at a time. He walked to Route 1, and took the first step in ready to start the adventure. He looked at the group, happy, joyous kids all ready to take the step,

Terry had gone into a bush looking for Pokemon to battle. He had gotten lost, only to shoot out of the tall grass into the face of a girl who looked terrified, she had an exeggcute by her side as well, and she gave him the most terrified look. (Hana)

Mana was surprised as more people arrived and figured they were all new trainers just beginning their adventures. Suddenly a girl came out of the bushes, two trainers began to battle, and basically everyone was conversing. She nervously laughed and scratched the back of her head.

"Uh so... Are you all heading to see Professor Oak?" She asked curiously, knowing that's where she was heading. Dratini slithered up and around Mana's arm and rested herself upon her head. Mana placed her hat on Dratini and laughed. How cute! She continued to watch and wait for the other trainers to reply.

Milo looked at the girl he ended up lost in thought for a moment... maybe he should see Oak as he was friends with his parents. "I wasn't planning on going, but since you're going I guess I am..." his voice trailed off as he walked over to the girl.

Poocheyena was right at his heels, he met Oak before, Oak was great to Poochy always provided when Milo failed in the past couple years.

Hana gasped and tripped backwards onto the dirt path in shock when she saw the boy appear out of the shrubs, but quickly clasped her hands around her mouth before she can cry out once more. She gazed at the blonde stranger with frightened eyes for a few minutes, realizing that it wasn't a giant Pokemon. 'It's just a boy.. it's just a boy..' she repeated mentally. Hana rubbed tears off her eyes with her sleeve, before turning towards Terry. "What'd you do THAT for?!" she exclaimed, her voice still slightly shaky.

"I was lost, didn't mean to i swear!" He pleaded, for seeing her had scared him about half as much as it had scared her. "Um...I'm terry, what's your name?" He asked, wondering if that was how normal people would talk.

David smiled as the stun spore worked. The machop fell on Rose. Rose struggled to get up from the more heavy machop. David said "Rose use energy ball." Rose fired the green ball of energy. He looked seeing people had come to watch the battle.

Hana took a deep breath, attempting to regain her composure, then rubbed her face once more. "J-Jeez.. I'm Hana.." she muttered, staring at the ground. "I-I'm sorry.. I'm.. not used to people, I guess." she said, her voice trailing off into a whisper.
Though it was true she didn't like being around others her age because of the years she spent alone in her mansion, Hana had already decided that she would get some other people to come along and guide her through Kanto, and maybe have them take the scares instead of her. Maybe this guy would be the one..? He didn't look like a commoner compared to those from earlier, so it could work out, possibly.
"Well, um, are you starting an adventure too?" she finally said, looking up at him.

"Y-yeah, I am," he stuttered. "I didn't think I would ever actually do this, but here I am!" He chuckled, looking up seeing the Eevee on his head looking around interested. "I want to name this lil guy, but I don't know what...maybe something poetic?" He thought out loud as thee eevee's eyes were filled with wonder at the battle going on.

Sam and shade looked around as a group of people formed up near them. Sam sighed and then looked at shade. Shade nodded to him and he smiled back at his pokemon. They both walked away from the group of people that were busy amongst themselves and started out down route 1 on their way to viridian city. If anyone else made it to the city then they could talk with Sam but he would go there on his own with his axew first.

Rosina watched as many of the others went off to do their own thing. Fed up with waiting, she called for Azurill and decided to head back to town to get the professor. She didnt realize as she started walking that Carters Teddiursa had followed her and Azurill as well.

She walked around town until she got to the Pokemon Lab and went inside. "PROFESSOR!" she called, startling all the scientists in there. She looked around and noticed an older guy turned around. She ran up to him and gave him her speech.

"Hi Professor im Rosina Orla a pokemon Ranger. I came her because i need a pokedex so i can start my journey as a Trainer with my Azurill. I wanna be a trainer so, so bad and ill be the best one i can be. Then i'll be a ace trainer then maybe a gym leader and who knows maybe a champion one day but i cant do that if i dont start my journey and i need a pokedex really really really really really really really really really really-" she was bouncing on her toes as she spoke.

"Woah there slow down. My name is Professor Oak and I was just heading over there. Oh well, here, you can have the first one." he handed her the pocket sized gadget fished from his coat. She took it and squealed happily. "WOW! Thank youuuuu!" she turned and saw Azurill and Teddiursa. "Oh...is Carter...? Oh well." she held up the pokedex and mimicked how she remembered Carter used it. After a moment it registered both pokemon, giving a breif oral description of it before shutting back off.

"So cool! C'mon you two, time to start an adventure!"

"Rill! Rill!"

"Ursa...?"

Rosina ran out of the lab picking up Azurill and Teddiursa, with Oak trailing behind, and didnt stop until she reached the others. She took out her Pokedex again then and registered the other trainers pokemon. Feeling happy with herself, she crossed her arms and waited for Oak to approach the others.

Lance

Lance arrives at route one where he sees many new trainers and some are battling. He then looks at elekid, ''Looks like the starting point huh elekid?'' Elekid nods as they continued walking towards the group of trainers. Lance was engrossed on the battle that was going on as he studied the trainer and pokemon. ''Machop vs bedew looks like a pretty even battle.'' It had seemed like the bedew was winning.

Carter noticed that one of the others was heading out. He and Teddiursa decided to go find Rosina, before he noticed Teddiursa was gone! Since the girl with the Eggsecute he had tried to talk to had ignored him, despite him tapping her on the shoulder. Instead, she started talking to some boy with an Eevee who had scared her. He chuckled and found Rosina, practically squealing with excitement, Teddiursa tagging along with her. Carter tapped Rosina's shoulder. "Hey, that guy's going on ahead. Do you wanna go too?" He asked, pointing in the direction of Sam and his Axew.

"Oh, hey! You've got a Pokedex, now too!" He said, noticing the device the girl held in her hands. "Congratulations! But that means..." He peeked around her. "Professor!" He shouted, running to the older man. "Professor! Check out my Pokedex! I got a bunch of new data!" He said, giving the old man the device.

Oak smiled proudly and checked through the dex. "Wow, 20 kinds of Pokemon already? You're on your way, making a good start already!" The Professor said, excited. "Keep at it, Carter."

Carter got his dex back and turned to Rosina again. "Looks like you're an oficial trainer, now, huh? We should get going on our journey. It'll be tough getting through Viridian Forest, but I'm sure together we can do it!" He said confidently, giving her a thumbs up.

Teddiursa looked eager to go, having been excited by the battle between rookie trainers, and the excitement he sensed from both Carter and Rosina.

Azurill looked just as eager as Rosina knelt to pick him up. She turned to Carter smiling. "I guess i am an official trainer!" she noticed the boy with the Axew went ahead and she nodded. "Yeah lets work together and get through the forest. I wanna see a PokeMart and Pokemon Center!" she started walking ahead, taking some steps through the tall grass, not really waiting for Carter. She knew pokemon popped out of the grass often in this region, so she stayed cautious.

Thomas spent many nights on the roof ever since his parents had shipped him off to Pallet Town. It was just one of his things. He and Ralts would spend many nights studying the stars, and many days would be spent in his room doing research on a plethora of different subjects. His grandparents never really paid him any mind. Not that they were neglectful or anything, but he was old enough and self-sufficient enough that they never needed to do much for him.

It was on a normal day that he lay upon the roof of his home, tossing rocks off of the edge and letting Ralts use her psychic powers to launch them at speed into the tall grass of Route 1. He had found several weeks ago that occasionally it would scare wild Pokemon out of the grass, and let him observe them through the binoculars he kept in a box on the roof. In doing, he noticed a large group of people gathering around the entrance to Route 1. Eventually, curiosity got the better of him and he returned his friend to her Premium Ball before tucking it into his pocket and clamoring down from the roof.

He didn't try to hide his approach, but he took it slow and when he stopped he was still a fair ten yards away. Reaching into his pocket, he palmed the ball before crossing his arms and listening to all of the people around him. He watched the battle that wasn't much of a battle, took in the sights of all the different Pokemon around him, and generally just waited to either be confronted or left to observe one of his favorite pastimes; observing.

Carter nodded to Teddiursa and they rushed in front of Rosina and her Azuril. "WAAAIT!" He shouted, putting his hand out in front of her. "First, take these." He said, handing her a potion and a map. "This is a potion, so you can heal your Pokemon when it gets hurt. And you shouldn't leave home without a map. It wouldn't be good if we got lost." Carter said, smiling. Teddiursa grinned as well. "Urs!"

"Now, let's go." He said, walking further into the grass with her. Route 1 would take them to Viridian City, home to the toughest gym in Kanto, which was locked to trainers without the other seven badges of the region. It was also Carter's hometown. Carter had returned Teddiursa to his Pokeball for the time being, reasoning that Rosina would like to get some practice at battling. There was a rustling in the grass ahead, and Carter tapped Rosina's arm. "Up ahead. Why don't you go for it?" He said, smiling confidently.

David smiled as the stun spore worked. The machop fell on Rose. Rose struggled to get up from the more heavy machop. David said "Rose use energy ball." Rose fired the green ball of energy. He looked seeing people had come to watch the battle.

The machop struggled to get up and assume it's stance again, despite the powder he could still move, for the most part. it's teeth were clenched hard and it's fist tightened, Carson saw it was ready to take out the rival Pokemon, and with a smile he spoke his next move knowing it could follow through. The attack the rival pokemon used didn't do much as machop was surprisingly strong, but was very slow and not the brightest.

"quick use seismic throw" said erin as the machop managed to grab the other one with a smile.

When Carter gave her the potion and map, she put them in her bag, setting Azurill down as she did. Her pokemon had already noticed the rustling in the grass and she nodded when Carter suggested she get that one. She walked up to it when an angry looking Pidgey lept out at her.

Her first instint was to calm it down using her fine styler, but she resisted, instead she put her Azurill between the two of them.

"Azurill, hit that mean Pidgey with Ice Beam." she told him.

"Azuril!" he said bouncing up on his tail and shooting out an ice beam in the air. It hit the wild pokemon and made it faint instantly. Her eyes widened and she jumped up. "Yes! Azurill great job!" she said excitedly, making a fist with her hand.

KillerKitten said "Y-yeah, I am," he stuttered. "I didn't think I would ever actually do this, but here I am!"

Hana hid a grin behind one hand. She, too, was surprised she was actually out here, on her own decision. And, though it just started, she has a feeling this adventure will be a great one.
"Well, um, what do you have so far? On your Pokémon's name, I mean." She plucked one of her Exeggcute off the ground, cradling it in her arms nervously and watching the five others begin to huddle at her feet. The sound of ice crackling and faint speech was coming closer, but it didn't bother her too much, now that she was a bit more comfortable. "It's pretty cute, by the way.."

"Nice!" Carter said, raising his hand for a high-five. "Now, when you want to catch them, you've got to hold back a bit, that way, you can just lower their health until they're weak enough to catch. Then throw a Pokeball." He explained. He searched around in his bag for a moment. "Speaking of which, I'm all out. We'll have to get some more in Viridian City." He sent Teddiursa out and grinned. "Let's go!" He shouted, running ahead with Teddiursa. They were stopped by a Rattata, which Teddiursa easily dispatched with two Scratch attacks.

They continued on, coming across several Rattatas and Pidgeys. Teddiursa and Azurill made short work of them all, and Carter could tell that Rosina was enjoying herself. The same went for their Pokemon. Soon, the edge of the grass could be seen, and Viridian City was before them. "Check it out! Come on, I'll show you around!" Carter said happily. He led her to the PokeMart, buying some Pokeballs, Potions, and a couple Antidotes.

Next, they went to the Pokemon Center, where Nurse Joy would happily heal their Pokemon for free. There was also free trainer lodging, so it was like a hotel as well. Carter took Rosina to the gym, the front doors of which were guarded by a large man with a scowl. "Scram, kids. The gym leader's not here, and even if he was, You guys don't look like you've got all the other badges.

Then, Carter stopped by his own house. They went in and Carter called out. "Mom! I'm here to get it!"

Carter's mother came out of the living room and smiled. "Still no change, dear. Still in your room on your desk."

Carter smiled and motioned for Rosina to follow. "Come on, I've got something cool to show you." He said, rushing upstairs. His mother smiled and nodded, letting her know it was okay.
