"Good job," Milo said cheerily, he remembered Route 1 he walked it with his parents parents before. He wasn't worried about much, watching the pokemon enjoy life. The travel was fast ending up in Viridian City, Mana ran off quickly to a poke'mart. Milo went into the store to grab a map of the region, he looked at it to find the newest areas to explore, sure the gyms would be nice to take on but adventuring into the unknown was always the better fun. Or maybe that was a family thing.

Milo walked up to Mana after they grabbed their supplies, "So what's your goal traveling, meeting people and poke'mon, exploring, becoming a poke'mon master?"

Mana bought a few extra Pokeballs and some potions. "Me? Well, I'm here to explore! I want to travel the whole region and catch new Pokemon. I'm not really here to become a master or anything. I honestly don't care much for gym badges either." She answered Milo's question and walked out of the Pokemart. "So what about you?" She asked to keep the conversation going.

Sam and shade had done enough training in the forest that shade had learned to use dual chop. The stopped at the pokemon center in pewter and then went and bought a dozen potions. They went to the gym and fought their way to Brock.

Carter smiled at the newcomer, and Teddiursa waved from behind Carter's pants leg. "Yeah, the more, the merrier!"

They set off into the Forest, Carter's egg swaying gently on his chest in it's incubator. Their first challenge came in the form of a small, puffy Pokemon. Carter registered it on his Pokedex, like Rosina. "Watch out, it's a grass type, so you're at a disadvantage." He warned.

She ended up not needing the advice, however. She caught the Cottonee easily. "Nice!" He said, patting her on the back. They continued along, running into Caterpies, Weedles, Kakunas, Metapods, and even a Pidgeotto, who managed to get away before Carter could toss a Pokeball. He frowned, but didn't let it get to him. As they were nearing the middle of the forest they heard a Pokemon crying out. "Do you guys hear that?" Carter asked.

Lance

''Hear what?'' Lance replies, Elekid glances around and the wind began stirring. Lance comes to a stop to see if he can hear what Carter is talking about, ''wait now i sorta hear it, it must be a rare Pokemon'' Lance says drooling with excitement. Elekid was excited for a battle as well.

Erin explained he was heading to the forest after going to the pokecenter, he still had 3 pokeballs from his father, and instantly he picked up the machop and began to run to the nurse, and he didn't take to long to long before he got there and even less to get the pokemon healed, and with that he set off into the forest. With the pokeballs in his pocket Erin walked at a steady pace singing the theme song to the original pokemon and his machop attempted to stalk out any pokemon around. As they walked a rattata jumped them and went for a quick smack at erin who barely dodged. He smiled as he looked at the pokemon and pulled out a pokeball.

"you seem fast, that's something that might need later on, why don't you join my team" he said getting a quick tackle for a response "ok then I didn't want to do this but Machop use brick break!" erin yelled doing the move in the background as his machop did as well. though the rattata dodged the machop quickly grabbed the rodent and flung it towards a tree, erin doing the move simultaneously. quickly a pokeball was thrown before anything else could happen and quickly set. With a fist bumb Erin grabbed the pokeball and set off to catch the next 2

Rosina smiled triumphantly as her two companions congratulated her on catching her Cottonee. "My Azurill and I have been through alot. Together, we can do anything." she said proudly. Yes she was a little worried that her partner was hurt, but she felt confident that they would get through the forest okay from then on.

As Rosina, Carter and Lance wandered through the maze of a forest, she had gotten many new pokedex entries. While she was thinking about nicknames for Azurill and Cottonee, Carter had tried to catch a Pidgeotto but had a hard time. Moments later he called out that he had heard a pokemon's cry.

"What? I didnt hear anything..." she said stopping and getting a little scared. "Are you guys playing a trick? I dont like scary things..." she told them.

Erin cheered on but suddenly stopped as he heard the voice of others beings... maybe pokemon! he may only have two free spaces but he was willing to fight for those to spaces and with the new rat he owned would whipe them out with it's speed and machop could clear what was left, instantly erin jumped towards the sounds before crashing into another person and getting up holding his head, unfortunately his two pokeballs would be left empty for a while longer. Still he left his hand out to help her up, she was with two others and he looked at them with a face that said 'what?' and machop stood in the bushes laughing.

"sorry about that, thought you were pokemon"

Rosina squealed in fright as she was knocked over by something. Upon realizing it was just a boy, she sighed in relif. "Oh my goodness....i nearly peed on myself." she said smiling and accepting his helping hand.

As she stood, she fixed her wild red hair. Somewhere between Pallet Town and here, her ponytail had gotten loose and broke. Unfortunately, she had no others, so her hair was an untamed mess. She cared little though. She would find one eventually.

Looking at the boy she dusted herself off. "You thought i was a pokemon, i thought you were my killer, so we're even. I'm Rosina Orla. Ranger and novice Trainer." she said with a smile. Turning to Lance and Carter she said "Look, its a person!"

Erin smiled as his machop walked to them smiling brightly together, a killer? That was crazy he truthfully hated blood and after seeing his parent's die he didn't want to see anything die. Still her comment made her laugh. "my name's Erin savage and this is machop" he said pointing to his companion and looking to her pokedex, could it really be? He had heard about them but never actually picked one up himself. "say you said ranger right? that's neat, say do you have any pokemon?"he said looking at her hair, it seemed to poof out. He had so many questions to ask them, as he had only met about three trainers in his whole life living in the mountains.

Smiling at Erin, she took out the two balls on her belt. "I have only two pokemon. My partner Azurill, and my Cottonee i just got." she said holding the large marble sized balls. She did not open them though, because she knew both were pretty beaten up.

"I'm a pro Ranger but trainer, not so much. But i'll work hard and be the best i can be."

Rosina started walking then, expecting everyone to follow her. She thought about the path they were taking, they seemed to have been going in circles so maybe instead of heading left, they'd go right and possibly get closer to the end.

She was happy to see they way they were going was different now. She could see a little kid facing into a thicket of trees too dense to pass. He had a net and a straw hat....he looked like he was ready for something to jump out at him.

Terry ran into the grass, screaming "eevee!". A few moments later, he stopped as he saw eevee being attacked by what appeared to be a bird Pokemon. Terry yelled to eevee, and elegantly, eevee smashed into the Pidgey, making it falter, and terry quickly threw an empty poke ball he had stolen from his parents. It barely clicked, but the Pidgey was now his. "Yes!" Yelled terry, walking back out in front of the girl with the pidgey's poke ball in hand. "Everyone else is leaving, we should get going." Terry said, noticing mostly everyone was now gone.

"you must be a trainer, I can see that, how about a battle eh"

Carter introduced himself to the newcomer, Erin. They re-grouped and continued onwards, wanting to get out of the forest before dark. They came upon a trainer, And Erin took the chance to battle him first. The kid sure was eager. They watched as he confronted the bug catcher, who nodded and grabbed a Pokeball, sending out a Butterfree. It looked pretty strong.

"Butterfree! Use Gust!" The trainer shouted. The Pokemon send a blast of wind with it's wings.

"Woah, that Butterfree is strong." Carter said.

Machop was throw back, barely managing to dig it's fingers into the the ground, the gust was powerful Machop was weak to flying type moves, Erin's luck sure was terrible today fight at so many disadvantages. Still he realized That he hand to get to the butterfree, if he could use a seismic toss the match would be on his side, being that machop's special attack was said throw. As the machop began to crawl despite the gust it soon hit a tree after being blown back. As the butterfree swooped in for a tackle Machop used counter right in time, though still tacking a hit to the gut. erin tightened his fist, he didn't like seeing his pokemon get hurt so bad but he had a feeling his rattata wouldn't do to well against such a powerful pokemon even if it was fast.

"now use your karate chop now" he said mimicing the motion

Hana gazed in awe as the little Pidgey was absorbed into the Pokeball. 'So, is that how you use it..?' Taking a brief mental note, she turned to Terry and nodded, then followed behind him towards the Viridian Forest. She remained silent for the most part as they walked past the locked down gym, wondering about the things her parents didn't tell her about. When they were finally under the shade of the trees, something in the corner of her view caught her attention.
There was a little Shroomish shivering slightly on the ground nearby, trying to blend in with the grass but to no avail. Trying to mimic Terry from earlier, she pressed on the button and allowed it to grow within her palm. "Here goes nothing.." Hana whispered, before chucking it towards the Shroomish with a grunt and watching it be absorbed into the Pokeball. However, the Shroomish escaped almost immediately afterwards, then darted deeper into the forest. "W-Wait!" she cried. She tried to break into a sprint, but stopped after a few steps. "I-I'm sorry. Lets keep going."

"You have to lower its health a bit first, by having your exeggcute attack it, otherwise it will escape." Terry said, remembering the television shows he used to watch as a child. "The next Pokemon I'll let you have a go at." He said as they continued into the viridian forest, antidotes at the ready in case of poison types.

the butterfree barely dodged the constant hits thrown at his and kept at machop with tackles almost everytime tacking a hit from Machops counter, until the words 'stun spore' and the butterfree did so causing machop to hit the ground twitching every now and the, Erin quickly pulled him away, it didn't have a pokeball so there was no lace to return it to. Erin sighed as he pulled out his next pokeball, not very happy with the odds he sent out his rattata which quickly turned around and gave Erin a headbutt. "what's the big Idea I'm your trainer now you are supposed to be my friend" he said getting up and patting the rattata on the head only yo be bitten and mumble a few angry words before the butterfree threw a tackle at rattata and rattata dodged and hit with a quick attack. Erin realized that rattata was ready to fight and smirked. "all right now use bite" he said as the rodent had already chomped into the bug which was frantically flying around.

Carter watched as Erin's chances at winning went from bad, to worse. Machop was taking a serious beating. Finally, Erin had to pull him, thanks to a Stun Spore from the Bug Catcher's Butterfree.

"Erin! Have Ratatta use Double-Team!" Carter said from the sidelines. Teddiursa was cheering Ratatta on, pumping it's paw into the air with a determined look on it's face. This Butterfree was trained exceptionally well, but Erin's Ratatta was clearly full of energy and determination. It wouldn't go down easily.
