Character SheetName: “Batman”
PantaeleonAge: 52
Magic:
Some Explanations: This form of spell is a modified form of living-link magic, which is centered around the concept of sacrifice. Normal living-link magic has a spell activating or deactivating corresponding to an individual(s) life, and this is the same, except that the individual(s) give up their lives to fuel this magic. However, this is separated from the forbidden dark arts as the lives are willingly given up to further a cause.
The Magic itself(Combat): The magic fuels the body, providing the energy to move and to fight, giving the wielder twice the strength and half more the speed of a man at his peak of physical fitness. Unburdened by the weight if his armor since he is the armor, this turns him into a force to be reckoned with. By turning the essence of the soul into a material component of the magic, it produces a magical membrane which helps protect the armour from debris and other Magicks(can stop C level and lower magics completely while blunting the blow of a higher level), can be attached to objects and thrown, extending out of the body as ropes and retracted.
The Magic itself(Extras):
His soul is also sensory, information being filtered through a magical lens, so he can see the truth of things (Kinda does the job of eyes and ears....but he doesn't have real eyes or ears so I had to put this here) The magic can only fuel the body for a portion of the accumulated lifespans of the sacrificed (120 years), but can be extended with supplements of pure magic.
Magic Level: A + (Don't know how to rank this in comparison to others, seems like it should be high though)
In the dark times dubbed the “Age of Fear” by wizards and mundanes alike, there was a darker story left untold. While the world was lamenting the loss of the fascinating magics and theatrics of the magicians, the dark works of the underworld were left untouched, and in truth uncared for. For of what import were murders an muggings in comparison to the end of the world. Who is there to protect the common man from the predations of the kindly labelled “troublesome” wizards. Who is there to put a coat over a young boys shoulders as he watched all he holds dear torn away from him. The guilds and magic council would have gladly said they would've stood in, as it was their morality and sense of justice that kept the world from falling into depravity....But the real answer is more saddening, though there may be exceptions..who is there to protect the people? Nobody.
~But....don't get me wrong, the world is not a corrupt place, it is peaceful and prosperous by many standards. The law keeps crime from going out of hand, and the now resurging magician population are flexing their magical muscles, vying for magical supremacy, while making troublemakers think twice about their actions....but still, why are such acts like slavery and theft still condoned in the world. It is funny really, but however much you try, there is no way to remove the cancerous darkness in every society. But. You can weaken it, make it cower for fear of facing the light. People need dramatic examples to shake them out of apathy and as a man, I'm flesh and blood, I can be ignored, I can be destroyed; but as a symbol... as a symbol I can be incorruptible, I can be everlasting.
And with that ideology, a group connected only by their camaraderie and hope for a brighter future, sacrificed their lives to change what was just an idea into something elemental, something terrifying. Something that would remain out of the public eye, but resound in the halls of every crime syndicate worth the name.
In the darkest cave systems of Fiore, this group congregated and there they begun the magic that transcended imagination. Forged from the scales of the Shadow Dragon laced with diamond dust, the 31 members of this group poured their soul into a suit of armour, merging their soul and implanting it into one man, whose body disintegrated to be used a template for the form that nests inside the armour. Their memories were all erased, all that they have lived for gone...leaving a being with the mentality of a newborn babe....which differed by one key aspect that was retained: The sense of Justice.
Taught by 3 scholars who remained to educate the dark knight, it learned diligently day and night, attending arena tournaments of strength, and the tabooed shows of magic. He was trained, by more practical means then a personal trainer, taking part of the arena as a mystery contestant, he lost to those far more skilled then he, yet with each loss he adapted, growing stronger, more skilled. Taking the styles of those experts of their trade and turning them to his own. For two years he grew, and for two years he came to a sinking realization.
He saw people enjoying their lives, people at peace in this time of prosperity and for the first terrifying moment, he questioned his existence, for everyday of his life, he was taught to protect the people, to root out corruption, but as a whole nothing seemed to be wrong with the people around him. Was his birth a farce? And it was as night fell, that he found his calling. Men were screaming, a woman was crying, and he recognized the faces. The same people who were so joyous a while back were in a state of chaos..but why? ....[during the aftermath of these and following events he realized: Some men can't be reasoned with, some men have no motive. Some men just want to watch the world burn.]
With the later rebirth of the magicians guilds, “Batman” realized that he could serve justice on a much larger scale. Having little money to travel swiftly and help people beyond the crushing of criminals, he realized he could be rewarded greatly for taking side jobs to help people. So, taking the guise of a shy swordsman, he requested entry into a notable guild, thinking that he would have no affiliation with the guild aside from it's mission board. But will he be wrong?
~~It's not who I am underneath, but what I do that defines me. - Batman
He is cold, merciless, brutal, and shows nothing but disdain for people with poor moral standards. To others he is generous, sympathetic/empathetic, and kind. Normally he comes off as a quiet individual who is not quick to express his feelings to strangers, though those who take the time to know him are usually disquieted by the near fanatical gleam in his eyes whenever the conversation drifts towards justice and moral standards. One to uphold the value of human life, he refrains from killing when possible, but even then, even if he chooses not to kill a villain, he doesn't have to save them either. One to sacrifice his security, reputation and secrecy in a heartbeat, there is nothing this enigma would not do for the people. No matter what forces rise up against him, he will endure, he will take it. The people may lose their faith in him, but that's the point of being a symbol of justice. He can be the outcast. He can make the choice that no one else can make, the right choice.
He aspires not to be the hero he thinks the world deserves, but the one that it needs.

Greatest Love: Being “Batman”
Motivation:He seeks... a means to fight injustice. To turn fear against those who prey on the fearful.
The body is as hard as a dragon's scales making it difficult for both magic and physical attacks to penetrate it. The plate is also surprisingly thick with a folded pattern in the beaten metal, putting the armour at 160 pounds. Due to the entire weight only coming from the armour, it is easy to blow away, and grapple with.
Magicks below A level will have a tough time cracking it. Offensive Magicks of S and above, especially penetrating types would easily penetrate the armour in one or two attacks.
To physically scratch it, a magical weapon is required or a cut from a higher level monster. In terms of blunt blows, to make the armour cave in, a force of a point blank cannon ball would be required. To dent it, a guy with a sledge hammer would suffice.
Once broken the armour needs to be reforged, although every piece needs to be reused as the souls encompass the entirety of the armour.
Extra: He fights with an assortment of long thin black knives, and swords of the same material.
