Elliott’s salamander magic is a type of poison magic that gives most of his bodily fluids a slight corrosiveness to them. He also has a small amount of control over them. He is able to use this offensively or defensively but he has relatively little skill with it.
Offensively he has two methods of attack. The first one is in the form of corrosive saliva which he is able to spit a large distance or it can be delivered more directly though a bite (he has very small fangs that barely help). He is also able to turn injury into a weapon as his blood is slightly more corrosive than his spit. As such, if he gets cut (or needs a little extra power he cuts himself on the palm) he can use that to attack with more powerful acid.
Defensively, he can has the ability to use his acid to cauterize wounds (though doing it on anyone else would likely cause further injury as well). He also is able to slowly regenerate small injuries (he could potentially regenerate a whole finger but that is about as large as it goes and that would likely take at least two weeks to do from scratch.)
Lastly, as far as the strength of his acid goes, it can melt through simple clothes and cause mild caustic burns that at first just cause pain but slowly get worse the longer the acid remains on the skin. After about five minutes of full exposure it would be severely hampering to movement because of the pain. Lastly, it is slightly adhesive so it will not roll off the body unless actually washed or brushed off (which if done with a bare hand or other exposed skin can cause smaller burns there).

History: Elliott grew up in a noble house of Fiore. While he doesn't keep that fact secret he does keep the families name secret to avoid affiliation. As children he and his two older brothers and sister got most everything they wanted. One of Elliott's favorite activities was reading, specifically tales of adventure and magic. He would pretend to be characters from his favorite books and his favorite character was the swashbuckling rogue, Captain Harlock. Under this guise he would often pull pranks on the staff and siblings. It was cute at first but as he grew up the pranks didn't disappear but instead got more and more complex. When he was old enough to attend social events he was very inappropriate, actually speaking his mind on controversial topics and
courting the ladies a little too much. Not only did he look bad at social events, he had begun to dabble in small magics. He was becoming a disgrace to his family and to be honest he didn't really fit in with the noble crowds anyways so on his seventeenth birthday he entered his fathers office and said he was heading out on his own (something he had kind of been joking about for a while). His father was very solemn about the whole ordeal but there was a subtle understanding that it was what was best for both Elliott and his family. After saying a few other good-byes he headed off, practicing his magic secretly. About half a year later, he ended up staying at Phoenix Wing.
Personality: Elliott is very clever and knows a lot but lacks real life skills as he was pampered most of his life, unless of course its in a noble’s court. While he retained his inner prankster he is also a very honest person, and is not afraid to state his mind, even if everyone else thinks otherwise.
