On the city road, a cheerful girl in a flowing white long-sleeved blouse, form fitting black pants and boots made strides with a smile. It was a gorgeous morning, and everyone was just staring to get around. Elize felt energized on this day, practically tasting the opportunity that drifted on the winds. Her bright eyes shone in the light, and her raven hair bounced joyfully as she made her way to her destination: The Phoenix Wing Guild Hall. As she approached, the citizens made no effort to hide their distaste, but frankly, Elize couldn't care less if she tried. It was their own loss, after all.
As she made her approach, it seemed that commotion was already rising. It wasn't a surprise in the slightest, but it was still a bit jarring. On the ground beneath her, sand and dirt covered the cobble. "Oh, great..." Elize muttered as the grime got on her boots. It was a clear indicator of just who it was that was causing such a racket. "I swear, if I have to clean more sand out of the floorboards..." Her face scrunched up into a mildly annoyed sneer. Ever since she came to the guild four years ago, she'd been the one to do a lot of the cleaning and such around the guild hall. Elize hadn't planned on it today, but it seemed fate had thought differently.
Sure enough, there in the doorway stood Sidious, their resident sand mage, soaking wet with a bucket at his feet, and sand swirling about him. His target seemed to be Elliot in the back. "For the love of...".Elize walked into the hall, glancing at him. "I swear, can't you guys wait until at least noon before you trash the hall?" She looked at both of them, the source of her annoyance being the dirt all over her new boots. It took her quite a few jobs to save up for them, and they were already all scuffed! "I know you guys won't leave it like this, right?" A bit of a threatening tone crept into that last word, though most knew that she wouldn't ever hardly act on such threats. It was all part of being being in the Phoenix Wing family. Speaking of which, there seemed to be a new face outside, waiting to come in. Elize didn't say anything though, as she rarely did to outsiders. Eren had come in by now, and was starting even more trouble. Simply dodging whatever she could, Elize just kept walking.
Instead, she just made her to the back, where the request board resided. The young Avon was already there, eyeballing the various postings, as well as Astaroth and...what was her name? It started with an M...Maho, was it? Admittedly, Elize wasn't all that familiar with either the blond boy or this girl ,, but that didn't stop her from greeting them as she approached, if only to break through that barrier of newness. "Good morning! Any thing good today?" She inquired, though with a glance to the sparse offerings, she found the answer for herself. Mowing lawns? Rescuing cats? Seriously?! Elize ranted in her head, though she knew that this wasn't uncommon. This was the result of a still pervasive distrust in wizards. Elize looked to the side to see Astaroth holding two of the jobs, the most lucrative ones at that.
With a gentle smile, she approached the pair. "I doubt you guys want to split three ways, but...mind if I join in?" Elize asked, really needing any sizable amount of cash she could get.
