[IC] The Orphanage for the Unusual

Kyo, having had enough of sitting around at the table, returned to his room and got ready for bed. He fell asleep fairly quickly and started dreaming of an empty house. Pale sunlight filtered through empty windows but still left everything looking grey somehow.

Katherin made her way upstairs. She knew atleast one person had fallen asleep. She wondered what the new girl would think of her ability. It was always a coin toss on how a person would react. Some people didn't mind, other people hated it. She would just have to wait and see. She made her way into her room and got comfortable. She reached out to the sleeping mind. An empty house? "Well I guess this could be worse."

Myra sighed and walked upstairs, she fell asleep as soon as she got inside her door.

In her dream she was nowhere, it was nothingness. She wasn't even dreaming. That was a first for her, she didn't like it at all.

Kyo walked around the house. It was odd, but it reminded him of something. There was plenty to see here, too: An upper floor, a basement, a few closets and some sort of den-like area. Upstairs there were a bunch of rooms where he suspected people would sleep, and a door that he expected to lead to an attic. Walking into an empty bedroom, he turned around, thinking he had heard someone.

"I know someone is here. I would not be here if there wasn't someone dreaming of this depressing place."Katherin called out

Jane fell asleep kinda quickly she was exhausted but her dream didn't show that she was in a house with the lights out too girls about the age of 8 were playing bloody Mary. ' hmm let's see seek up then appear behind them or in front of them ' this was Jane's favorite game to play she would become bloody Mary for a bit. " Bloody Mary we summon you to grant us three wishes one for each of us calling your name once, BLOODY MARY BLOODY MARY BLOODY MARY" "why hello my little ones what do you want" Jane said appearing behind them in a white blood stained dress that went down to her knees.

Julius walked around the orphanage awhile but he sooner realised that he had exploited every secret in the building and he would find nothing else interesting, so he decided to go to bed and wondered what dreams Katherin would be walking in that night.

Kyo looked around for the voice and eventually found Katherin outside of one of the rooms. He walked straight to her and waved hello.

"You can talk in dreams remember?" Katherin teased him gentle. "Do you want to stay in this depressing place? Some of the others are calling it a night so we could go else where."

Kyo thought for a moment. That was true, wasn't it? How had he forgotten? He looked around the house briefly before turning back to Katherin and taking her hand. <<I'll go with you, then.>>

Katherin took Kyo's hand and reached for the next sleeping mind. They landed in front of a girl in a whitedressad her hands conceded in blood. "Oh I don't think so.I don't do nightmares. "Katherin waved her hands changing the scene. She took them to the beach. "There much better."

" what in the world why am I on a beach those girls where going to get it." She was yelling at who ever did that then noticed Kathryn. "What did you do that was my dream you had no right those girls needed to get punished." Her anger was like lava boiling up from her Jane clenched her fist in real life and in the dream." Had to have changed my dream I've done that so many times the girls run of screaming and I leave same old same old I finally dream about it and it gets ruined what my luck."

"I told you I am a dream walker. I control dreams." Katherin explained. "Most people don't mind. Every once in awhile I met someone like you. I think you need an asylum more then you need an orphanage. I guess I should be glad you don't throw knives at me like Roxydid. Doyou wish to go back??"

" I dont need no stupid place for crazy people those to kids where me.and two of my friends before.... I was Bloody Mary and would appear behind them and they ask for tree wishes and I would fake grant them then Chas them thought the house the blood was not blood but red paint on a long painting smock we had fit" Jane went down to her knees and started crying she missed her old friends she missed her old life but what was she to do she didn't even remember the street name." Just leave me.be since its gone now and it'll never come back just leave it I will be sitting all night in blackness till I wake up thank you then if that's what you do then your doing a fantastic job at it." She barely managed to say that before waking up.

"well that went well. If she would have waited two seconds I could have put her back exactly where she was." Katherin said as she shook her head.

Julius was in a dream world that was covered in forest for as long as the eye could see. The ground was veered in roots and leaves barely enough space to show the grass and dirt. The sky, well there was little sky to see, besides a few cracks that allowed sun to beam down to the earth.

Cenhelm was in a dark room. As he looked around, he found some furniture. He turned on a lamp, and saw that there was no way out. There was a single old tv, so he started to watch it.

Frustrated by the way Jane left the dream Katherin hesitated when she felt two minds fall asleep. Knowing she couldn't resist long Katherin reached out to the next mind. She smiled when she recognize Julius' mind. "Well this is cheerful. Do you want to stay here Julius?"

Kyo didn't fully understand what had just happened between Jane and Katherin. He could see that Jane was mad at Katherin for some reason, but she seemed to have been yelling so fast that he couldn't separate the words into anything coherent in his mind. He had only really gotten the very last part, before she left. It made him wonder exactly what other people normally dreamed of that made them so angry when their dreams were disturbed. Should he mind more himself? But he couldn't talk to Katherin at any other time. Besides, it wasn't as if she hadn't warned them. He shrugged and sat down on the sand, playing with a few shells and staring to build a kind of shell garden.

Jane was sitting on her bed panting then got up turning invisible. Taking out a small radio she put in some headphones she fell asleep again listening to rock music. Her dream was just concert, her arms waving she half way forgot about what had happened a few minutes ago.
