Jason was concerned that the housekeeper would think he knocked him out. So he waited.

The housekeeper decided to let the lad rest while she tried to round up more students. She would check back once she had tangled a few downstairs.

Jason was still in the corner alown. He was deep in thought.

Jason began to fall asleep. But woke himself up.

Kyo was impressed by Jason's power, but was a bit confused when he left suddenly. He watched him go back to the corner, unsure of whether or not he should follow him. By the looks of things at the moment, though, he seemed like maybe he wanted to be alone. Rather than bothering him if this was the case. Kyo made a mental note to go check on him later instead. This led him back to where he was before, of course; wondering if he should just wait or go introduce himself to the girl who occupied the room as well.

Liz decided that she might as well follow the housekeepers instructions. She was her to interact, so interact is what she would do. Liz slowly made her way to where the boy with the paper was. "Hello my name is Liz. You are?"

Kyo looked up a bit startled; he hadn't expected her to actually walk up to him. He quickly wrote a response on the paper, a ways away from his previous conversation.

I'm Kyo. It's nice to meet you.

"Welcome Kyo. Would you be willing to show us or tell us about your ability?" Liz asked

Jason looked up at the boy. He seemed like he was doing something. Jason put his head back.

Fear briefly flashed across Kyo's face, but was masked with a calmer expression quickly as he looked back at Liz. The pencil hesitated, but began writing again after a moment.
...
I guess I could just tell you.

He showed her the message, thinking about just how to word what he wanted to say. Verbal expression wasn't exactly his forte, but better to tell than show in this case.
I... cause things to... distort. Or at least, seem like they are.

Liz wasn't sure she understood the boys reply, but it was clear that he wasn't comfortable answering the question. "I can heal and control plants."

That's pretty cool. It sounds like it would be useful.

"I hope so, but so far it has only caused me grief." Liz replied.

[YamiCuoreLaroux]

Kyo nodded. Although he couldn't see exactly how those abilities could be thought of as troublesome on their own, he figured it was because he hadn't been the one to experience the consequences of using them around other people. Not to mention, if she also had trouble controlling her power, that could definitely become its own problem. He became curious as to what she had been through, but didn't want to bring up any particularly traumatizing memories.

Liz was quiet for a moment thinking of her dark past, before the benefactor sent her to the orphanage. "So far unlike it here. The housekeeper has been very welcoming. I have met two people who have greeted me as a person."

The boy silently agreed that this place was indeed different. He was happy that others were finding it to be a nice place.
That's good to hear. I hope everyone will be able to do well here.

"Most are resisting. It is hard to believe this place and these people will be different." Liz stated. "What did you think of the test?"

It wasn't too hard. There were some things I didn't really know, but I still think it went well.
Head cocked to the side a bit, he thought over the test. It wasn't entirely what he thought it would be, but he was sure he answered the questions reasonably well.

"I like the idea of knowing what career could have been, but I'm not sure i believe that it is possible for me to have career and function in the real world. I also look forward to learning many things. There are many gaps in my education." Liz replied honestly.
