I think I'm starting to finally zero in on what I want this incarnation of Adrian to be like. It only took me three months!

I wouldn't worry about it too much - I'm figuring on putting a post up tomorrow as I have the day off of work (yay, Birthday!) to move things along the next few IC days, where I shall give more of a structured idea of what life is like aboard the landcruiser, and to point us toward our next mission. I'll briefly sketch over in the post, as long as no-one objects, that our characters all get some explanation and training time to sort out the admin/organizational stuff of working together, and we got some practice working together with the infantry squad and the helicopter in 'off-screen', before we get to the mission. I'm sure we don't want to play through a half-dozen training missions and exercises >.<

Re: my latest post, I have deliberately not included all the information for the briefing yet. It is not because Silverwind is incompetent, or hiding anything, before anyone's character claims as much. I will put up another post following people having a chance to react to this one, with more information in it. Also, I thought I'd give you a chance to not be rail-roaded into being in certain groups or having to do things, since that can be pretty dull from a players' point of view.

We've had a couple of drop outs lately, so I could consider adding another character, and I like to have an even number of GEARs in the unit. Post it on up here when you're ready and I'll take a look at it.

Re: the IC, I will post to move us on tomorrow, most likely, as there don't seem to be any other questions forthcoming, and then we can get onto the mission - which will incidentally lead us into the true plot of the game, rather than training exercises and puttering about the Landcruiser.

Thread updated with remaining briefing notes. I have teamed the GEARs into groups based on who's actually still active, given this rule:

Please try to post at least once a week to remain active,

and the fact that some people have now dropped below this threshold with no explanation or notice, and we've also had other people declare they're dropping out. As such, people have been booted from the player list. We do have two people (one PM'd me) potentially waiting to join though, so I will await their sheets.

The rest of you are free to react to the briefing post, and then go to the hangar. If you decide not to make a post, then please say you're going to wait until I post again, rather than just clamming up and not posting >.<
I would advise that it's probably worth speaking IC to your partners in teams for the GEAR pilots, and Esailia and Ken may have some worthwhile discussion too, and even though you've been dismissed, you're still free to ask Silv any questions you need to.
