Toby nearly grimaced when she turned to him as he then remembered she was dead.....well was dead. He shuddered for a moment before smiling back with a hidden terrified feeling. He didn't want to scare her off.....but he didn't want to scare himself off either. He had no idea on how to make sure nobody ran off so he decided he would just go with the flow and see what happened. He smiled a bit as she moved her hair behind her ear and it quickly turned into a smirk. Not a warm smirk, a menacing one. His eyes suddenly filled with mischevious and daring looks as Toby quickly disappeared. Dylan was here.

"Oh yes!" HE sad with a little glint in his eyes. "We did meet yesterday! How could I forget a girl as beautiful as you, Callista. A bit weird don't you think, introducing yourself twice to the same person, I really have to stop doing that." He smirked again. Finally he was back to his own little playground, literally. He could do whatever he liked here and nobody would bat and eyebrow at Dylan. Little ol Toby would get the blame. He took her hand and shook it quickly.

Ashley giggled as she realised this Himura boy had no clue what League of Legends was. That was always funny, she always liked people remarking at her T-shirt, usually they think it means Laugh Out LOud.. She played with her pony tails as he talked and then noticed he was gaining distance between them. "Hey wait up!" She yelled with a little laugh as she ran up behind him.

"It's rude to make a girl run you know?" She said tauntingly knowing the boy was probably really polite most of the time. "It would be fun to follow you around, so where's a first stop mister tour guide?" She laughed again and started to hop after him. This place was so big, so entrancing and full of really funny people.

She flinched slightly as Toby turned with a terrified look on his face, what was the meaning for that? Did she scare him? She looked around for a mirror, her heart thumping. He couldn't have seen her shinigami side had he? That was something she would worry about the most, is that if there ever was another.. No, they wouldn't be able to see him anyways could they? Alright, enough thinking. She had to pause for a second and take a breather, there was no reason to be worried. This was a 'supernatural' school was it not?

She began to walk farther down the hall along with him, but paused when he said he couldn't forget a girl as beautiful as her. What did that mean? Beautiful, beautiful... Something humans said to one another as a compliment! As a compliment, that's right. "Oh.. Well thank you." She replied half unsure if that was the comment she was supposed to make after his statement. She had her own language that only she could read and speech, and after millions of years of only speaking that language, it was hard to remember what everything meant, and also she had to decipher each language from one another. It was all a confusing cluster of millions of words and sounds, but she thought she was doing pretty well.

She was oblivious to the way Toby acted. People had spikes in their personality all the time so she only thought it was one of his traits to be shy then outgoing which she didn't really mind. She just smiled and carried on, she had realized that the sun had risen and possibly that Ethan would be waiting for her in the garden. She looked down the halls trying to locate where the garden may be but maybe he would come find her sooner or later. For now, she wanted to be around people and learn from others. She looked back towards Toby. "So, should we go get something to eat?" That was a normal thing to ask was it not? Food usually lead to socializing so she took her chances.

Dylan smirked a little as they walked. She was pretty hot, he'd give her that, but a little bit too naive. He chuckled and moved a little closer to her as they walked, trying to observe if there was anything wrong. Dylan loved it when Toby was chained up in his own mind and he was out. He could pick up girls, cause chaos, do drugs and alcohol. Because he never had to deal with the hangovers. He looked down at his black and neon green T-shirt with a look of despise. Toby had no sense of dress did he? He would have to change as soon as he got back to his dorm, but for now he would try his luck with this girl.

It looked like she was looking for something and he chuckled and moved alot closer to her with a sneaky look on his face. "Sure I'd love to have some food with you, why wouldn't I have food with such a hot girl like you?" He said slyly before spying a sign that said Dining Hall.

She stopped and looked at him confused, what? She touched her own skin, she wasn't hot. She actually was kind of cold to be honest. She looked up his face almost touching hers. She felt her face turn bright red and pulled away from his gaze. She tucked her hair behind her ear while she tried to recompose herself. "I.. uhm.. I'm not hot, I'm actually kind of cold." She didn't know if this answered him but she was being honest.

She looked up to see the sign and followed the arrows. She decided maybe she shouldn't be so quiet. "So uhm.. are you hot?" Her innocent voice struggled. She grabbed the side of her arm and rubbed it nervously. Something about Toby made her feel uneasy.

"Hey, wait up!" Ashley called out as Himura continued to walk. There was a small laugh underneath her breaths, Himura couldn't figure out why she thought it was funny-- All that he could think about was getting some water into his system. "It's rude to make a girl run, you know." Whether she was now trying to get him annoyed or mad was unclear again. Himura continued to walk with no answer in mind. His eyes was directly towards the other end of the corridor of the academy. "So, where is our first stop, Mr. Tour Guide?"

Finally, Himura was able to collect himself again and come up with a reply for Ashley. "After all, she might be sick of listening to herself talk." So Himura, without turning his head began to speak. "I need some water. I am heading to the kitchen. The cafeteria is close by, we'll peek our heads in the cafeteria before going to the garden. Then, maybe the gymnasium."

Ashley

Ashley frowned at the boy. He was being a bit of an a hole or a jerk, whatever she didn't mind. She continued to follow him and chirped up when he said so etching about the gym. "Oh I love the gym, always exercising me, how bout yourself?" She chuckled again and continued to hop after him.

Toby

Dylan was loving this. This new girl was innocent, oh so very innocent or a good actor. He felt her energy bouncing off her face when they were close enough but frowned when she escaped his gaze. Playing hard to get was she? "Cold?" He chuckled. "By hot I mean very attractive, because that's what you are." He smirked at her.

"Maybe I am hot, just girls don't notice me when I'm all being a loner and all....Toby. Bit right now I think I fell a lot better." He smiled brightly at her as he turned into the hall. "What are you having?" He asked interested. If Toby's hunch was anything to go on he thought he had a plan to catch her out.

Himura didn't catch Ashley's reaction and as a result, he continued to move ononto the glassy path ahead until the end of the corridor was clearly seen and red carpet began to creep the floors. The girl continued to follow Himura. It seems as though the mentioning of the gymnasium had gotten her worked up with excitement and determination. "Oh I love the gym, always exercising me, how about yourself?" Half of what she said Himura couldn't understand. Did she meant that she always exercise her body? Himura turned and gave her a questioning demeanor, but still addressing to her question at the same time.

"I do, if that isn't obvious enough for you." He looked forward again and continued the tour. Until their feet reached the main lobby of the Academy, it became apparent that the majority of the school had changed. There were a lot more modern technology, shiny and metallic-looking accessories around the room and a futuristic desk where the receptionist sat. His head turned to observe and indulge until the white font of the black sign drew in his eyes. The cafeteria was located at a different location. He slipped under his own breath a quiet curse before following the signs again. "I'd never thought that the cafeteria changed. Let's hope that we won't get lost."

It felt as if he wasn't being so hospitable. Well, the place did change and there wasn't much that Himura could do about it. He followed and attempted to keep one of his eyes looking for directional signs until one could be seen in black and written in white. It would give a direction, and that direction Himura would blindly follow. He kept quiet, and maybe Ashley's tongue was itching to speak again. Himura preferred the silence but since he was walking with a person, it would be selfish to remain silent to a person who enjoys to speak their mind. "Ashley, wasn't it?" He began. "So, what made you decide to come here?" They were now close towards the new cafeteria-- although Himura has not realised it yet.

Lily

She sighed, sitting out in the hallway. I wonder if he's finished yet... She perked her head up, trying to listen for movements but she heard none. She let another long breath and then stood up, brushing off her blue jeans. Silently, she peaked into the kitchen. Farrow was still working on the soup and he seemed like he was enjoying it. A small smile grew on Lily's lips. If only she had that sort of enthusiasm for things. She just... didn't feel anything. Nothing got her very excited. Maybe... if she got her wings back.

She eyed the door leading to the kitchen once again. Maybe she could just check on Matt... She tip-toed away, though she was certain he couldn't hear her. She smiled, thinking about how she used to jump and twirl through these hallways. Now, she walked leisurely, taking her time. She found that she was always like that, lazy. She turned several corners before finally arriving back at the nurse's office. She peaked her head in and saw Matt wide awake, and thinking hard about something. "So, tell me doc, is he brain damaged?" She asked teasingly, a wicked grin on her face.

Fredricka

She led them a bit deeper in the forest, stopping just at the pretty little clearing she'd found. There was a small stone, just big enough to sit on, in the middle. The overall feel of the area was very warm, almost enchanting. The sun light casting down from between the leaves on the trees created a sort of drawing on the ground. When she was alone, she'd often stare and try to make images out of the shades. There were flowers everywhere, of all different kind and color. Nature never discriminated. She walked over to the stone with a small smile on her face and sat down, facing her two friends.

"I usually come here when I want to relax. It's also... where I sleep. So, if you ever want to find me, I'd probably be here." She told them, an awkward smile on her face. People never really took too well the fact that she preferred sleeping in the forest, which was why she didn't tell any of the officials at the school. They probably didn't care anyway. She sighed and then looked up at the two of them. "So? How do you like it?" She asked. It was exactly breath-taking but it felt like home to Fredricka and it was a safe, warm place.

Matt

"No, not brain damaged," replied Matt quietly. "I'm fine, really." Then he sighed. "I don't know how to explain it, okay? I keep having memories, and then forgetting them. Normally that would seem like insanity, but the Phoenix reincarnates, as I'm sure you know, and I think they might be coming from one of my past lives. I wish I knew what they were about."

She let out a small puff of air, giving up, a small smile on her face. She walked into the room, walking closer to Matt. "I'm glad. I was really worried there for a minute. Farrow's still cooking you up some grub. Thought I'd come check up on you, see how you're doing." She explained, walking over and sitting down on the bed. "So, past lives then, eh? Must be interesting, knowing what it's like to die and be reborn. But, you said you don't remember, eh?" She asked, looking up at him. She held a sad smile on her face, her eyes pale and tired. She felt old... She felt tired. But she couldn't sleep. She'd been like that for while now. Unable to sleep. The doctor had told her insomnia and gave her medicine to take. She'd thrown it away, not wanting to have anything to do with it. She didn't want to sleep. The nightmares were too real.

She looked down at her hands. "So, tell me. What happened while you were gone? I haven't seen you in so long." She began, feeling much akin to a chicken laying it's head out on the chopping block. She felt guilty for not going in search of him. She just had... her own problems to deal with. But then again, were they really problems? She felt like she did more complaining than needed. She needed to calm down and just live. Easy enough in words, harder in practice.

Following Fredricka deeper into the forest, he eyed the surroundings during the walk. Paying attention to the mellow atmosphere of the forest, the animals that occasionally showed up here and there, the sounds that he believed would be associated with nature. He was definitely enjoying his time here, even if his face didn't show it. He just wanted to notice each detail he could catch while he was here.

After a bit, they came upon a clearing, allowing a chance to give their feet a bit of a break from the walking, even though it wasn't that much walking. Djhango just felt a bit lazy at the moment. Probably the atmosphere of the place was making him feel that way. Fredricka sat down on a stone and smiled up at him and Sasha. "I usually come here when I want to relax. It's also... where I sleep. So, if you ever want to find me, I'd probably be here." She told them. Really? She slept here? Even though he enjoyed the forest, Djhango thought about what it would be like for him to sleep out here... and he'd be worried about if some creature would attack him while he slept. Fredricka soon asked them if they enjoyed the forest. Djhango nodded. "Absolutely. It really has been too long since I've seen nature." He said with a smile. "This was a good way to start my first day here, thank you."

Matt

Matt looked down. Even though the last couple of years was a sore spot, there was no point in keeping it away from Lily. It wasn't like he had done anything wrong, right? No matter how many times Matt told himself that, he couldn't believe that. If that demon hadn't destroyed Kamasyia, Matt would have done it himself.
"It's a long story, but okay..."

It was that piece of paper we found in the book about the Phoenix that started it. I had gotten a letter back from Taylor, but wanted to wait for you to open it. I don't know what happened, but you never came up. I had to open it myself, because the demon that destroyed Kamasyia had arrived. Even though I keep telling myself I couldn't help the people here beat it, I still feel like I fled like a coward. I got on an airplane meant for getting students for the academy to see if I could go visit Taylor and have him help me learn to take on Phoenix form. There was a fierce storm, though, and the airplane crashed in the middle of nowhere. Neither me nor the pilot, whose name was Willie, got hurt, but we had no clue where we were. If it weren't for Willie being a water wizard, we might have not gotten out of there alive, but we did eventually. We arrived in a small town named Orme, which was located in the southern part of Tennessee, USA. Me and Willie parted ways, Willie back to the academy, and me to continue on to Taylor's home in Mississippi.
When I arrived there, Taylor was overjoyed, but told me to rest up, because my travels had left me exhausted. I fell asleep at once, and that's the last I remember until a month later. It turned out that for some reason, Taylor had planted a chip in my head that let him control me somehow. I lived alone for a while, doing my best to survive on my own, earning money here and there. That went on until I heard that Kamasyia was opening back up using the name Kalmasyia. I wasn't sure I wanted to come back, but I decided that it would be better than what I was doing, so I came here.

Jake:

I continued to walk around the building wondering where all the other people were. Would they not have someone to come meet you? The packs would have already sent out one of the omegas to greet a newcomer, were the omegas here busy with something else? I wasnt sure. "Strange way for pack to act" I muttered under my breath as I wandered around looking for signs of some kind of life.

I sniffed the air and could pick up the scents of multiple creatures, some were scents I have never smelled before... it was strange... I had come across many creatures during my travels through the world, and none of them smelled like this. Perhaps there were a lot more than I realized... it would be a perfect time to learn what I could! Meet new friends! Make new family! Excited Excited! Exc-

"Easy boy" I whispered under my breath to my inner wolf, antsy for the chance to meet others. I never really had the chance to be around others before, other than lycans, but those never lasted long. I sniffed again and smelled something that made my stomach growl... meat...

With a watering mouth, I followed the enticing scent as it became stronger and stronger, finally entering a room that was flooded with the scent. My eyes narrowed in on the food that I saw, steaks, ribs, burgers... hell... yes... I began to make a beeline for the food when i finally noticed the other girl in the room, her white dress finally making me notice her. I froze for a moment with my head tilted to the side a bit, i never got to see many females, but there was always something mesmerizing about them. I didnt understand, was it the difference in the shape of their bodies? Could it be the gentleness in their eyes? I never could figure it out.

I felt myself walking up to her... well shuffling like a nervous pup really, and when I got close enough, all I could muster was a sheepish "hello"

She blinked, hearing him explain it all. A chip? "So then, you didn't learn anything from him?" She asked, feeling her heart sink. They'd been so excited when they found that slip of paper and it turned out to be a huge trap? Was the chip still planted inside of him? "Do... Do you still have the chip?" She asked, feeling smaller and smaller by the minute. She couldn't help but feel that she'd let him down some how. That she'd never shown up and he was forced to deal with it all on his own. We'd left him and he couldn't even destroy the school he'd been made to. He's had.... no one. She got up and walked over to him. She wrapped her arms around him, even if he hadn't answered her questions. "I'm sorry. I should have been there for you. Had I known..." She said, talking into his ear very quietly.

She pulled away after a bit and looked at him with soft, caring eyes She hadn't felt this way in a long time. It was like he'd sparked something inside of her. She sighed and walked over to the bed again and sat down. "I'm sorry you had to go through that... I wouldn't wish it on anyone." She told him, looking up at him. She couldn't say she was sorry enough. She felt like her heart was going to tear in two just thinking about how lonely and hurt he must have felt.

Fredricka

She smiled, looking up at Djhango. "I'm glad I could give you such a wonderful first day. Though, I can't take all of the credit. It's Nature's work after all. I just... inhabit it. It's a wonder these animals like me so much considering my past." She told him with another awkward smile. It'd been so long since she'd talked to other humanoid creatures like this. It felt good but she also felt a bit out of it. Like, she wasn't really here. She was in another room, watching it all. Like it was a dream.

She turned her head towards Sasha. "And you? This forest is beautiful, is it not? It's not... breath taking, but I'm glad it's here." She said looking around. A squirrel jumped up on to her lap, looking rather angry. She chuckled and placed her hand on his head. "I'm sorry! I didn't mean to insult your home, Benedict, but you really must get out more. There are forests out there bigger than you could possibly imagine with creatures and trees bigger and taller than you could possibly see." She explained, in all seriousness, to the small rodent-like creature.

"It's not your fault. It's nobody's fault but Taylor's," Matt reassured, "You didn't even know where I was, I left and nobody knew where I was going except Willie." Matt lay back onto the bed.
"Besides, even though Taylor didn't teach me, I learned how to use my powers. I can even transform into my bird form. I haven't figured out how to, or even if it's possible, to turn off the fire."

She smile sweetly at his response. "Well, that's good. At least you got something for your troubles." She told him, her eyes filled with sadness. She hadn't been quite so lucky to come out of it all with her powers even stronger. No, she'd just gotten weaker, and weaker. It was like every time she tried, she just took a few steps backward. Maybe she should just stop trying so hard for once. She needed to.. just live... Why was that so hard? Maybe if she just... let it happen, her powers would come back. Right? If only it could be easier. If only it were smacking her right the face.

She sighed. She just needed to accept the fact that she might not ever get her powers back. Her wings and her Grace might as well be gone forever. You'd think after killing the devil, you'd get some kind of reward... unless he wasn't really dead... She shudder at the thought. No, he had to be dead. She didn't do all of that for nothing. She wasn't human now just so he could live.

They sat there in silence for a while, until Matt jumped to his feet.
"I have no idea why we're still in this room. We should be out exploring or something! Even if we are going to sit somewhere, I'd prefer somewhere besides the nurse's office. You want to go to the garden?" asked Matt.

Sasha followed the two others deeper into the forest. They soon stopped at a clearing. It wasn't anything extraordinary, but it didn't have to be. Fredricka explained that she usually slept there, which was not surprising to Sasha considering Fredricka's wildlife-like features, but intriguing all the same. Fredricka asked if the two of them if they liked the forest. Djhango quickly responded, saying he did and it had been a long time since he'd seen nature. This piqued Sasha's curiosity. She cocked her head at him like a dog would when its master said something to it. Although not as one with nature as Fredricka was, Sasha couldn't imagine the thought of not seeing nature for any length of time. She turned her head back to the front when Fredricka then addressed her with the same question. "Oh yes...it's wonderful," she responded with a smile, still glowing with happiness. "And what a place to sleep! You get to sleep in this beautiful scenery and are surrounded by your animal friends. Some would describe it as magical," she said as a squirrel jumped up and talked to Fredricka. Although she had only seen an animal interaction once she already was no longer surprised by it. It seemed to fit Fredricka's personality so well.

Sasha sensed only happiness in the other two, and felt happy and comforted. Though, Djhango's comment about not having seen nature in "too long" still irked her. She couldn't not ask him, so she turned to him and said, "What did you mean when you said it had been too long since you'd seen nature? I'm perplexed how one could not constantly be around nature...but I guess I didn't have the most normal upbringing, either."

One eye-brow on Djhango's forehead went up. "The squirrel has a name too huh? If she can speak to the creatures here, makes me wonder if she can remember all of their names..." Djhango thought. Seemed like a fun talent to have; the ability to communicate with animals. Too bad he couldn't do it though. However, if there were more chatty animals, that would be quite a downside of the ability...

"What did you mean when you said it had been too long since you'd seen nature? I'm perplexed how one could not constantly be around nature...but I guess I didn't have the most normal upbringing, either." Sasha had spoken to him. He turned his head to look at her. The answer to her question was simple. "Oh, I come from New York, the city to be precise. There's isn't really much there in terms of nature similar to this, unless you were to go upstate or anywhere outside the Burroughs. I mean yeah, we've got parks, and a few gardens, but it's nothing like what it is upstate, or here for that matter." He explained to her.

Djhango stretched his arms and back a bit before lightly sighing. "I've only been upstate when I was younger, and it was only a handful of times. Aside from that, it has been years... about seven to nine I want to say." He finished before sitting down on the grass, randomly fiddling with a leaf in front of him as he looked at the two. "I can only assume, both of you have been around places like this far more than I have huh? Places like this makes sight seeing all the better." He smirked. Djhango enjoyed sight seeing alot, although most of the time, it was perching on a ledge or balcony of some building; pretending to be a fake statue. He almost always never was spotted, but then again, that was common of his kind.
