During his adult life he became a mechanic like his father forced to work with the gang called "Chasers" working as their mechanics but making his escape in one of the Chaser's cars.Once he found out about the race and prize money he would use the cash to help his father and himself.

Working on a post now, but I wanted to ask a question; while we're obviously going to find more gear during our journey, are we going to get any opportunities to tune-up or modify our vehicles? Like, say, if we got a new weapon, could we choose to enhance our firepower stat slightly?

No stats are fixed now, but you will be able to find more weapons, but the effectiveness is tied to your stats.
