Watched as the bird that was attached to her captain lifted off into the sky, and for a moment she could not help but wonder how the heck Juki did that... Bringing her arms up to cross over her chest she shook her head to his words about becoming captain, oh how he just could have known about her plans.. she should tell him! "Well you see, If I was captain I would stop your retirement, bring you back to keep doing your work and run maintenance on me. All the while I slack off and just sleep and eat snacks all days." Yes her evil plan had been uncovered! Though really she could have done without all that, way too much work in her opinion!

Kyoshi tried to just chuckle off what Juki said about having still having a little longer to reboot, which he was right about the whole damage thing. "Ahhhh... It was only a little bit alright? It is not like I hurt anything, I just cannot feel my left leg for some reason but it is fixing itself like normal!" She was grinning away like a fool, showing that she was just kidding around about the whole leg thing, heck that would be very worrying to her if she could not feel a limb! "Still, I am sure you would just fix me if I somehow broke though right? That being said did you upgrade me because you intend to send me on a mission soon or?" Though once the lab hermit, her new body allowed her to do oh so much more out in the field than ever before!

Following her friend's lead the two arrived at the barracks of the Kido Corps and, rather swiftly, were greeted by a sleeping Captain. Chuckling lightly, Kōunora smiled up at the man as he drifted down on his platform, a younger shinigami attempting to wake him. She watched with amusement as they came to eye level and Shoske finally opened his eyes, waking to greet them. "We didn't wait long at all," she replied with a friendly smile as the man spoke.

Waiting patiently as he conversed with their guide, Haru. After several moments of conversation, the Captain opened their path and Haru readied their vessel. Waving to Saito as she stepped into the box alongside Yuka and Lieutenant Osaka.

Standing at the ready as they traveled, one hand out and touching the wall of the construct, Kōunora closed her eyes, breathing quiet and even. The patterns of reiryoku and reishi in the box surrounding them were quite well made, she had to admit. It seemed that Saito had continued to strengthen the skills of those under his supervision. She approved.

"Haru, what do you call this?" She queried after several minutes, seemingly unaware, or at least unbothered, by the shaking and jostling of the box they all stood in.

Reila's face lit up like a kid waking up to presents on Christmas as the captain spoke. His way of speaking wasn't any different from normal, which she was greatly fond with, since normal wouldn't be a very good word to describe him. Captain Imsar was an intelligent man who pondered all that the world had to offer while being able to possess an immense amount of spiritual pressure at the same time. In short, he was a master of everything. Of course that was likely an exaggeration but the man had yet to falter in her eyes.

Captain Ismar began walking in the direction of the Squad headquarters before continuing on, triggering Reila to follow behind him closely. "It's going pretty good, all things considered...ok, I jest." A heartwarming smile appeared on her face as she gently placed her hands onto her zanpakuto. "I know things won't be peaches and cream at times but as I see it, everyday that I go without having to use "Boido no hebi" is a great day. Plus, getting the opportunity to hear you talk while being able to bask in the vibrant rays of the sun is an extraordinary event all in itself. As for that..." She stopped her line of speech before proceeding to continue. "...well even though I've been your lieutenant for quite some time, I still feel like there's things I'm still not used to yet which is both a good and bad feeling. Still, I feel that I will get used to them in time so that's not really a problem and will do Captain!!! Also, how did the meeting go?"

Takeshi thought about what to do a bit longer until he heard a voice. He hadn't turned to acknowledge the person but instead decided to shrug before he spoke "Both sound dull...however you've given me an idea! I'll go find that old git and give him a good ass kicking!" Takeshi grinned a little, he was feeling a little more alive today! Takeshi still hadn't looked at the person who spoke and immediately turned away before shunpoing off to find The Old Git who was due a good fight by now! After all that bastard hadn't given Takeshi any decent training in awhile and it seemed about the appropriate time to go get some form of training...if it involved sitting around drinking things again and being one with your mind he'd kick off and kick ass!

Juki smiled a little hearing Kyoshi speak "And this is why I will remain Captain...You'd need me regardless, the time I stop being the Captain of Squad 12 is when I am forcefully removed from that position" Juki watched Kyoshi for a moment as she continued to speak, it was true...he'd only end up fixing her...so even if she had managed to damage herself it's not like he could simply leave her damaged to prove a point as she was important to him and the Squad "I suppose I'd have to fix you no matter the circumstances...that aside...I do intend to send you on a mission soon, I need to do a little field work and investigate some odd things...so I'm sure you'll get to test out the new updates"

Kyoshi chuckled and looked away for a moment, rather happy that he would be her captain for a good while yet, as he had no intention to leave and in turn neither did she. Even death couldn't keep her away from this, even if she needed his help to make sure that she stayed alive long enough in order to keep enjoying these times. "Good to know captain..." She smiled softly before finally turning back at the mention of a mission that he did have in mind for her, which she was all too happy to accept. She always wanted to go out in the field more but the last time she did she kind of... died... "So, what is the mission Juki? I am glad it is not another field test for the 'built in coffee machine you tried installing in me a while ago..." Giving off a chuckle she peered off to the surrounding area "Of course that being said, we could hang around, laze and grab some snacks like you intended, you lazy captain. But what are these odd thigns you wanted us to investigate? If it is a metal eating hollow I would like a pass."

Yuka Mogami

They met with the Kido Corp Commander, and boy was he lazy. Some thought of Yuka as lax, but this guy was sleeping on the job. Apparently, he also disagreed with the notion of sending them to Hueco Mundo. Yuka would have asked him to elaborate on that, but his assistant suddenly complained about some "regulated pathway". Yuka had no idea what difference there was in terms of pathways, but the fact that this Haru person seemed concerned was enough to make Yuka wonder if they weren't about to be shoved into something dangerous. Yuka really didn't feel like making something of it though, so she just watched as this odd scene played out. Eventually, Saito produced his gateway, and Yuka followed Kounura and Haru into it.

Once inside, they found themselves inside some bizarre reishi construct. Considering it was violently shaking and Haru didn't seem all that in control of it, Yuka wondered if this was why he was complaining earlier. Kounura seemed completely nonchalant given the circumstances. Yuka wasn't all that worried, but all this shaking was beginning to make her feel a little queasy. "We're not going to have to spend too long in this ruddy box are we?" She asked. The sooner they got on their own two feet, the better. Even if that meant they were going to be standing in the hostile world of Hueco Mundo. Yuka preferred to blow Hollows apart than to emptying the contents of her stomach in front of everyone else.

For awhile Jynmi walked, paying close attention to everything his Lieutenant had to say, but also looking around, making sure to take in as much of the sights of his home as he could. It had been a long time since he'd take the time to do so. A problem with living too much in the world of his head and the one way beyond his reach. Sometimes it was hard to forget the little plain of being which existed right in front of his face.

"Yes it is, isn't it?" The captain smiled and slowed down to give his friend a nod. "Cherish these days, Ryuga. These days of learning, slow or quickly, when we get to leave our blades in their sheaths and are allowed the opportunity to take in little moments like these. They won't last forever, or even very long." He sighed, and his smiled reversed as he stopped and slowly turned to his second in command. "It didn't go well, I'm afraid. There's something going on. We only got a small briefing on the matter, more shinigami dying and too many hollows appearing, but no new information." He put tightened his hands behind his back and turned to face another direction. "Hmmm. If there's anyone with information on what's going on I bet I know where we could find it." His frown deepened, but only for a moment before swinging around the other way into a wide smile.

"Come on." He said, starting walking in the new direction he was facing. "I bet if there's any answers to be found we could find them at the twelfth division, and if there aren't any answers then I'm sure we'll at least find ourselves with some brand new questions."

a bead of sweat dropped down Juki's face...something odd for him yet still "Well you know...Coffee is very important in our Squad to help keep our members up and awake...just there were problems with placing it into the body as it interfered with some of your other components...more so your battle related ones" Juki then looked down at the ground then back up to Kyoshi "I think I earn my lazy breaks, it's hard work being stuck in a lab most of the day...besides...I'd rather get this mission done with out the way, it's been bothering me for awhile now and it's about time we dealt with this problem...shall we?" Juki then motioned for Kyoshi to follow him as he began walking. He had no intention of using Shunpo to get to his destination...walking would be more than suitable.

Shaking her head with a deep sigh Kyo just shrugged the whole coffee thing off, she suspected he had uninstalled that thing by this point, she was not a glorified coffee maker anyway! "Of course you deserve your breaks, after all I think I have seen you not sleep for weeks on end trying to get a project finished in time. Admirable really, but I remember telling you off about that stuff before, glad to see you are taking more breaks" She mentioned as she gave a dismissive wave to her captain, as if to brush off the compliment she gave and save herself some embarrassment. Though as he started to walk off she blinked in a confused manner, following after her captain "Huh? Wait, hey! You haven't even mentioned what it is that we are doing, you just mentioned that is it a problem!" She followed after him, of course also at walking pace which sort of infuriated her to the point of possibly hitting him!

The moment the three stepped out of the breach and into their destination, Unagi's single eye opened wide in shock, taking in the horrifying landscape around them. A moment later and his expression returned to normal, save for a smirk plastered across his mouth. "You didn't say we'd be traveling to Hell. We're breaking more rules and regulations than I care to even keep track of... I love it."

He turned then to the 11th's third seat, and interjected once Kenshin had provided her with a sample of his own reiatsu. "I can certainly see why he wished for me to come and act as your protector. Keep your wits about you, and preserve your own life at any cost. Any that die here... Are forever trapped." With that he provided Rei with a friendly smile, and turned to face the kushanada that approached them. This could be the worst decision that they had ever made, but damn did it feel exciting. As he felt Kenshin's reiatsu output increase, he did the same, but only increased his output to 25%. There was no need to drown anyone beneath the sheer weight of his energy.

"Time to go to work, then." He thumbed his nose then took a traditional boxing stance, positioning himself near Rei. He'd give her enough room to maneuver if she needed, but if any of these creatures went after the weakest link, they'd have to break through his impregnable wall.

"Well...I don't get as tired as I used to, it's still nice to rest however..." Juki then rubbed the back of his head and smiled as Kyoshi mentioned the mission "Well I like to keep a few secrets...it'd be no fun if I told you everything now would it? after all I am going to be testing you a bit so I don't want to give anything away" Juki had some interesting plans in store for Kyoshi however this mission was more than simply testing her abilities...he needed to deal with this problem and study it...

"I don't really get tired at all anymore if I am honest too, though I think that is mainly down to you heh" With a chuckle she smiled back up towards her captain before reminding her why she loved to hit him sometimes when he mentioned secrets. "You know maybe I should work on my interrogation skills and make you tell me captain?~" Her tone was very threatening despite her smiling face, but really he would know she would never truly do anything like that to him... maybe? Still she was just happy to get to testing out her new skills, and wondering just how they all worked!

Juki chuckled nervously and waved his left hand at Kyoshi as he spoke "Ah! there's no need for that! Trust me this secret is worth waiting for!" Some time had passed and finally they had arrived! They were now stood outside a small village that was rather...empty looking "Well...we're here. I suppose I can tell you a bit about why we are here...but I'd rather you find out for yourself..." as Juki finished a single person walked lazily out from a nearby house, their body hunched slightly as their head hung...then the person noticed the presence of Juki & Kyoshi, the persons piercing red eyes fixated on them "Seems he's noticed us..." The person then broke out into a mad sprint, their arms flailing a little as the person closed in on them "I'll handle this one..." Juki raised his left hand and extended his index finger, pointing it at the oncoming person "Hado #4...Byakurai" a thin beam of lightning then shot from Juki's index finger, the beam piercing the persons head causing them to fall to the floor...

Rei's grin couldn't get any wider as she watched both Captain's burst through the Dangai wall. 'Heck fucking yeah! Nothing can stop my Captain!' It may not have seemed like much to the other Captains, but watching both them break through what seemed to be an impenetrable wall was amazing to say the least. She couldn't help but feel excitement from merely being able to be near such powerful people; that excitement began fueling Rei's fighting spirit.

"So this is Hell" She surveyed her surroundings with her eyes, taking in the unknown sight with it leaving a deep impression on her long-term memory. It looked unexpectedly different from what she imagined, with the white blocks an' all. She found it interesting, paying much more attention than usual as her Captain gave his speech. Nodding at her Captain, Rei clung onto every word. 'Togabito huh? Sounds like they're pretty damn weak willed to give up.' Continuing to listen, she pointed her eyesight in the direction of the newly discovered Kushanada. 'What in the shit is that?!' Kenshin obviously just told her and had taught her a little about them before, but her eyes still couldn't get a grasp on the appearance of the thing. "That weird looking giant skeleton thing is a keeper of Hell? Heh, they must be tough then, I'd like to see one of them fuckers try to eat me!" She grinned once more as she watched one on their patrol. The group seemed to have caught some unwanted attention; Rei vaguely hoped that it wasn't due to her loud voice.

Kenshin saw this and began his preparation, lending Rei some of his reiatsu for protection. She couldn't help but feel unstoppable with the Kenpachi's energy, raising her own reiatsu to add to the loaned power she possessed. 'This is Fucking Awesome' Gladly following her Captain's orders, Rei drew her sword while hosting her own bloodthirsty grin across her lips. It was about time to fuck some shit up! Captain Ungai then spoke up, lending her some advice at which she nodded and returned his friendly smile with one of her own. "Yes Captain!" Rei spoke in acceptance of her orders, feeling more than railed up and ready for action.

Kyo continued to follow her captain out of a sense of loyalty and trust that she had for the man, but even she was a little unsure about keeping secrets. Mainly because she so wanted to be prepared this time, to make sure nobody ied like before when she was the one dying because she wasn't ready! Soon enough they soon came to a stop and they were now stood outside a small village that was rather...empty looking to say the least and in turn left a rather creepy feeling behind. Following suit she moved into the house with him, only to look at the person, he was just a normal person right? Where they here to kick him out of the abandoned buildings for squtting? That seemed like a little overkill didn't it? "Umm sir?" She asked, only to get her answer why they were here as the man came charging at them! Juki was fast on the uptake and blasted him with a hado which pierced the persons head causing them to fall to the floor... "Captain?! What is going on? I think it is time you tell me!" She crossed her arms and glared at him, this was all pretty creepy, though she seemed unaffected by the person dying.

The guardians of Hell were upon them now. Kenshin spoke quickly, addressing anything that was said to him before by his two companions. "Yes, Eel-san. We're breaking a multitude of rules and violate a number of regulations. I knew you would not care and thus here you are..." A slight chuckle can be heard. "Rei, do your best to survive. If you die or, even worse, get trapped here, I will not be able to immediately rescue you..." Turning to face their enemies, his reiatsu output seemed to have stabilized at a healthy 45%. Some of the sinners near by were vaporized by the combined reiatsu output of all three combatants. Not paying the sinners, nor his companions really, any attention any longer, he charged head first into battle, sword in his right hand...

The first guardian to arrive was aiming for Rei, the decidedly weakest link of the group. With its massive arms, and impressive speed, it skirted the other captain and aimed a straight punch at Rei, who is hopefully aware of her situation and surroundings...

The second and third guardians to arrive aimed for the one-eyed captain. In a pincer formation, they charged forward, weapons outstretched in one hand and chains, coming in like whips, wrapping around with their free hand. They were aiming to immobilize the captain with their chains and then executing the intruder...

The fourth and fifth guardian aimed for Kenshin. In a similar pincer formation, one guardian held its sword in its left hand the the other on its right. The guardian with the sword in its right hand came in from the right of Kenshin, and the other from the left. The right-handed sword was swung at a 45 degree downward angle. The left-handed sword was swung at a 45 degree upwards angle. The space between the two swords was approximately 2 feet across, at best...

Quickly analyzing the situation, Kenshin decided that he was not going to be able to take both guardians at once. Defending would be a terrible decision as well, as the sheer size and weight behind both sword swings may very well crush both of his arms... Deciding that there was no way for the guardians to swing their giant weapons with their equally massive arms with enough speed to keep up with his above average shunpo, he started his footwork. In a flash, he reappeared in mid-air, above the downward swinging sword. As hard as he could, he roundhouse kicked the flat side of the blade with his right leg. With the follow-through motion and inertia, he swung his sword down and struck the same guardian on its shoulder plate, driving it towards the ground...

After getting totally ignored by that other guy that looked like he might be fun, Mirja was in a pout. She didn't like being ignored, and so when she was, and got into a pout, she was pretty dangerous. As anyone with nearly a ton of force in fists that wear restraints would be when they were not emotionally sound. So as she walked along, one of the Shinigami gave her an insensitive catcall, and ended up with a marble-esque fist in his face. It was only after looking at the bloody, broken form of the guy that she thought she should actually do something about it. So, picking him up as if he was less than a sack of potatoes, she carried him off to the 4th barracks, where she waltzed in casually.
"Hey, anyone around? I got a guy thing person for you to do helping stuff on" she exclaimed, clearly not enthusiastic about getting medical aid for him, but just doing her part as was expected of her.
