Xavier had gotten the order to send a message to the king of Meche,By the order by the king of Bravado no less so he knew this would be very important.Riding his black horse down the dirt road in the forest towards Meche alone since he was a high ranking solider and did not need to be escorted since he was the best with a sword.

His skull designed armor was something that strike fear in many people,Of course he did not use his words to frighten people since he was a mute but used his sword that worked better then anything he could say to someone.

Heavy impacts could be heard from quite a distance, coming out of the dense forest. Attacking random and innocent persons just for training purposes was something even a demonically infested man didn't do that often - for multiple reasons. Hitting an immobile object that could take the beating was sufficient for keeping the muscles he'd gained and working on his stamina. It had suffered a bit over the course of the last months as Madawc had kept eating more than he probably should. He actually wondered if there was something his 'friend' had not told him yet about the later stages of their merger.

He didn't see Xavier coming. In fact he just had not reckoned that someone could use this dirty road while he was training here. He had considered this place to be far away from the main routes and the probability of being discovered negligible. When he finally noticed his error, it was too late to escape the soldier and his impressive mount. Madawc positioned himself along the wayside and made a greeting gesture. In his mind however he hoped that Xavier would just not care much about him. If this was a feasible hope - he didn't know. The demon-man was still wearing the entirety of his armor as this had been part of his training.

Xavier had noticed a strange looking man doing some sort of meditating or was he training the young man could not notice,He stopped for a moment looking over at Madawc stopping his horse form moving anymore then he wanted his horse to.His horse which was pure black shook his head digging into the ground below.

Xavier let out a moan pointing to the man his face not shown since he was wearing his skull helmet that went with his skull designed armor.He had stopped because he can see the demon behind the man and was interested in him.

Oh damnit... Not only had that man noticed him, he didn't even care about taking off his intimidating helmet so one could see his face.
"What is it ?" Madawc had to pause his speech from time to time as he still was breathing heaviliy from the exertion. "Would you please take off your helmet and start talking ? I'm not someone who deserves to be intimdated, and it likely won't work anyway."

Madawc knew that what he was saying was bold. Very bold. The man-demon took a bit of a defensive stance, crossing his enormous arms in front of his breast and staring at where he could just assume Xavier's eyes were located at.

Xavier let out another soft moan that hinted that he was sad,Pulling off the skull helmet off his head.Madawc could see a young man around the age of twenty with boysish looks and bright blonde hair on his head.The young man getting off his horse making sure his steed was not spooked even though most of the time he wasn't.

Moaning again pointing behind him as if he wanted the other man to look behind him,Moaning once more seeing the demon behind the other man.He could see other worldly beings ever since he was a child and was curious how the demon fused with the human man.

Madawc was surprised. He hadn't expected someone wearing such unusual gear and riding such an expensive horse being so young and look the way Xavier did look like. When he just kept moaning, the demon-man raised an eyebrow. This guy was strange... but he seemed to indicate something to him.

He didn't turn around his head directly as this would had given the yet pretty unknown man a perfect opportunity to backstab him. Instead, he made a couple of sidesteps so he could see both Xavier and the point that was right behind his former position.

Xavier shook his head pointing behind him moaning once more,He didn't know how to communicate with his words unless the other man knew sign which he guess he didn't. Shaking his head once more going to the pouch that his horse was carrying pulling out a quill and parchment and started to write down what he wanted to say.

After a few minutes Xavier handed Madawc the parchment with what was written on it,What was written as followed."I see a demon behind you,And i wanted to ask how and why he fused with a human?".

Even before Xavier handed him his writing, Madawc began to understand. Apparently this young man shared the fate of being mute. When he grabbed the parchment out of Xavier's hand and read it, it would've been a bit of an understatement to call him 'astonished': He was shocked. How the hell could he have discovered this in no time at all ?

Madawc's thoughts were raging in his mind: Fleeing was quickly ruled out of the equation - he'd never be on his horse quickly enough and with his weight it wouldn't be as fast as Xavier's. But if that young man had negative intents towards him, why would he've opted for basically giving him a clear warning ? The situation was confusing for him.

He lacked the means of writing his answer on the parchment, but it was likely that the young man was only mute and not deaf as well. So the demon-man answered by speaking: "Things do happen. I don't plan on doing bad things, so remain calm." Well... 'stealing' from the remains of battlefields was nothing he considered bad.

Xavier of course understood what he had said to him nodding his young head,Writing once more on the piece of parchment and handing it to him with the following."Well i mean you no harm,I a m just curious about the demon that follows you". The young man was now looking directly behind him seeing the demon that was behind the man.

"He doesn't follow me. We are one. Things happen. And how... could you see this ?" Madawc had never experienced something like this before, and he wouldn't let go of any additional bit of his information unless he would receive something in return. The bulky man walked over two his two horses, indicating that he was still listening to what Xavier said. But meanwhile, he would prepare to leave this place. They could probably continue their discussion while being underway. The demon in him didn't feel comfortable here anymore...

Xavier looked around and started to write on the piece of parchment handing it back to the man,The note was written as followed."Ever since i was five years old i was able to see the beings form behind the plane,I have noticed them around people either draining their life force slowly or haunting them".

The young man looked over at the other man bringing his horse closer towards him.

"So what are you gonna do now ?" Madawc asked straightforwardly. "It's very rare to meet someone who doesn't want to attack me rightaway, given that special knowledge you have obtained about me." Madawc didn't sound as reserved as he did before anymore. "I've no reason to stay here. Was just looking for a remote place to exercise."

Xavier wrote down something else on the parchment handing it to the other man,"I am heading towards Meche so if you want,You can join me to Meche or before i head into the capital" Was what was written on the parchment.The young man brought the horse close to him placing his skull helmet back on his head.

He was ready to leave if needed and he wouldn't mind some company while he rode to Meche.

"So be it. I'm gonna follow you a bit. Could use a bit of a company indeed." If he was honest, he should be worried about how fast he had dropped his usual curtain of suspicion. But Xavier really didn't seem very dangerous and Madawc was sure he would be able to make his stand against the young boy if necessary. However his horse had to struggle against his weight in full armor first. One could see that it would be on the loosing side in the long term, but that's why he had stolen two. They really weren't very good. "I hope it won't mind you if my horse is overburdened." He didn't care, they were just animals and he had not been able to get hold on anything better.

Xavier nodded his head thinking that it was not his horse so he would not have to worry,His own horse could only carry himself a few items that he brought with himself.Getting on his horse and waiting for Madawc to get on his horse and to follow,He found it strange that the demon man would have two horses.

Never the less he wanted to head out as soon as he can before it got dark or if other demons where following him.

Madawc maneuvered himself alongside Xavier, trying to keep up with his speed as good as he could and leading his spare horse on the other side. "What profession do you have ?" Madawc was really interested as Xavier seemed so young and yet so experienced and geared up. Additionally, the more he knew about him the better he'd probably be off if something went wrong. On the other hand, this would probably result in more questions coming back, but Xavier had already collected the most important bit of information by himself.

Xavier started riding down the dirt road or what seemed like a dirt road,He could ride and write at the same time so he would have to stop for a moment while he wrote down the answer and the question he wanted to ask."Well i am a solider,And what sort of profession do you have?Or are you a drifter?" Was what was written on the piece of parchment.

He stared riding along with the other man.

"Let's call it drifter." Madawc replied. "For many years. Basically since... well you already know it. I'm used to stay in the woods and I was training there." He looked down onto himself to see at least an inch of fat bulge over his girdle. Xavier appeared very lean, something he would have a hard way to get back to. "I'm a bit greedy, ya know ?" he commented on the situation. "Sometimes I pay visits to small villages, but large cities aren't the thing I like. I'm wondering what Meche looks like."

Xavier nodded and rode with him keeping to himself for the most part,He of course could not write and ride his horse at the same time so the ride would be very quiet.While they rode down though the forest they could hear the soft noises of animals and other creatures which made the young man jitter and move his horse a bit faster.

Once they made their way out of the forest road they were then on the main road towards Meche.

"Why are you fightened ?" Madawc asked. "There aren't any creatues dangerous to us in these forests. I have to know since I basically live there." As Xavier accelerated, he tried to keep up with him. The emphasis clearly was on the word 'tried' as he wasn't that successful with it. He started to fall behind.

"Wait for me" Madawc called shortly after they had hit the main road. Then there was a thump approaching Xavier's ears from behind. The horse Madawc had been riding on just seconds before now was getting up again without any trouble, but the demonically infested man lay right in the dirt, his back hurting and presenting an amusing scene to each and every bypasser. It hadn't really thrown him off, it had rather collapsed beneath him.
