The woman whimpers a bit and shakes her head, unable to form the words to describe the turmult of feelings going through her head at that moment. Anger towards those scientists for killing past children and seeming so callous about the entire thing. Frustration that she couldn't do anything to stop them...well she could, but she would get in trouble. She also felt disgust. Disgust at herself. How could she get wrapped up with these people? These horrible people who do horrible things.

Arthur felt uncomfortable at the mention of the child, but chose not to say anything. He nodded at her, "Very well. Pass the syringe?" He held his hand out towards her to accept the drug. "She should wake up pretty soon afterwards." Misha lay unconscious, strapped down. He didn't want to see what was to come next.

Brianna handed it to him and waited for the injection. "Is this your first time? I understand some of the other scientists have worked on other subjects, so you may have assisted them. If not, do be prepared for an outburst from the subject. They're not here of their own will, remember."

Liwei edged closer to her and put his hand on her back, making comforting circles in an attempt to calm her; however, as heartfelt as the gesture was, he felt just as distressed. He genuinely trusted the boss, even considered him a friend. Though Liwei knew he was often used as offhandish eye candy, he still held deep feelings regarding the projects - many of the details of which had been obscured or redacted in the archives. He felt coals burn below his throat at the sense of betrayal he felt. Why hadn't they been informed that this was what the company was up to?

"I've assisted with a few experiments. None of the violent ones, those I've just watched." Arthur stands closer to Misha and wipes her arm clean before injecting the needle beneath her skin. He gradually empties the syringe's contents into her before removing the object and stepping back.

The woman squeezes her eyes shut, not even able to look at needles going into someone else's skin. The hairs on her arm stood on edge as she focuses on not making a noise, and not passing out. After a few moments waiting, to be sure the needle would be done, she opens her eyes. This isn't what I signed up for... She thinks, feeling sick. I'm marching right into Boss's office after this and figuring out how much he knows...this isn't right!

The world was black. Misha felt her body, heavy with.. what? She struggled against the restraints for a moment before her eyes shot open. She jolted awake. Scrambling, she tried to sit up but found herself plastered to the bed by the restraints. Her fingers were shaking, but she turned her head to the scientists and gave them a bewildered look.

"Oh, there she is. Welcome back to the world, subject nine." Brianna slipped on some plastic gloves as Misha stared up at them. "No doubt you are incredibly confused right now. Unfortunately, I have little to explain to you. What you are about to undergo is a series of harsh experiments which, quite likely, will result in your ultimate death. Perhaps not, if you are so lucky. We shall have to see. You may call me Doctor if you need to scream something in hate. But please, do not take it out on my assistant." She glanced at Arthur to see if he had anything to add.

Misha clenched her jaw and stared, then paused, then barked out a pained laugh. "Are you -- are you kidding me? You're joking, right?" She smiled uneasily. "Ya' gotta be jokin'!" She rattled her wrists against the restraints, her breathing uneven. She glanced around for someone - something - anything she could use to help her escape, but she couldn't think straight.

The woman whimpers and slowly gets to her feet, about to make some sort of noise to stop Brianna and Arthur from hurting Misha. She felt a...connection to the girl, as she had captured her, convinced her to come back to the facility with her...everything. And here this poor girl was, strapped down and alone, and possibly going to die because their boss hired lunatics like Brianna. She clenches her hands into fists, raising her foot in such a way as to stomp down on the grate, unless stopped.

Liwei stood quickly and raised his hand to stop her. He shook his head rapidly. "No, not now," he mouthed. Raising an alarm would do nothing to help either the girl or any future victims of the experiments. He wasn't sure how to help, but he was intent on stopping The Woman from jeopardizing any help they could offer.

[Fionraella]

Mona (Moha?) looks at him before nodding and setting her foot down. She bites her lip worriedly as she watches the scene unfold below. She couldn't sit by and do nothing, but Liwei was right. They had no chance of saving the girl if they didn't choose their next steps very carefully. Tears form in her eyes as she scrambles to think of a plan.

Liwei waits for her input for a moment but, upon seeing her hesitate, gestures to the exit. We can figure this out later. There's nothing we can do from here. He begins edging towards the exit, steps as silent as he could manage.

[Fionraella]

Mona watches Misha for another moment before heading after Liwei. Her heart pounds in her chest, and she finds breathing difficult. She covers her mouth with a hand, trembling as she tries not to cry. They had to get help. Or stop Brianna and Arther themselves...but how?? More people have to be in this torture...

Liwei slid back up into the main body of the building, stretching his thick legs when his feet finally hit solid ground again and he found himself able to stretch to his full height. He watched Mona carefully, not wanting to upset her more and lead her to rash action. His mind raced. "What are we going to do?" he said, voice quiet but urgent.

[Fionraella]

'We go get Boss. He can't know about this right??" Mona looks at him pleadingly. "You've worked alongside Boss for so many years. You know most everything going on here...You'd know if Boss arranged for this right?" She nods firmly and sets off down the hall. "Oh, and we have to figure out where that boy disappeared to."

[xiaomiau]

@Fionraella Liwei crossed his arms in contemplation. "I want to say he doesn't but.. he must." He thought back to the redacted documents. "I couldn't access the full versions of the plans for this experiment. Only someone high up could mark them up like that." He sighed, his face taking on a look of dejection.

Mona whimpers. "He must know..." She then begins crying. "What are we subjecting these poor, sweet innocent children to??" She grabs Liwei's arm and begins running down the hall, determined to save at least one, but hopefully both, of the children that she and Benjamin had brought in...Where was Benjamin anyway?

Liwei stumbled a bit as she pulled his arm but quickly fell into pace behind her. She's so passionate, he thought. She cares so much. He still struggled to push his doubts to the back of his mind but found himself accepting - slowly - that they had been lied to and that the lies were putting literal children in danger.

"Fuck. I have no idea where Boss Man's office is." Mona huffs, stopping at a fork in the hallway. She looks at Liwei for help, a little surprised that he was still so willing to go with her. Shouldn't he be convincing Boss to kill me or something forwhat I know? Maybe he's going to lead me the wrong way...
