The Imperial I-class Star Destroyer Avenger sat motionless in the darkness of space. The massive machine seemed to fit in with the silence of space, to someone that happened upon it by accident they might believe it had been abandoned. It was not, inside of it were thousands of the Empire's finest. On the bridge stood a tall, gruff looking figure. This was Admiral Vondell and all answered to him on his ship.

"Sir, our scanners have detected multiple ships approaching the Avenger. We believe they are the bounty hunters you requested." Another man said as he stood behind Vondell and stared at the admiral's back as he gazed out the window into the darkness of outer space. This was Captain Dene, second in command on the Avenger. He also answered to Vondell.

"Good. Allow them entry into the hangar, from there on lead them into a conference room." The Admiral replied, as he did not turn his back, his hands folded behind him as he spoke. His voice was deep and almost commanded respect with its sheer tone.

"As you wish, sir. Should we take any security measures?" The lower ranked man asked. Dene's words with a hint of uncertainty to them, him like many others on-board the Avenger did not like strangers coming onto the ship. Especially bounty hunters. No one but Vondell understood why they had been summoned here.

"No. Simply lead them to the conference room, lock doors to other hallways and post guards by them. The visitors are to be treated with respect, they're highly regarded in their field and their only interest lies in the credits we will pay them." Vondell said as he finely turned around and glared at the man speaking to him.

"Very well, Admiral. I will make sure your orders are followed without a hitch." The captain said with a nod.

"I am glad to hear that, you do not wish to know what happens if that promise is not kept."

"Yes, of course, sir." Dene answered almost meekly. Vondell turned his back once more to the captain which the man took as a sign that the conversation was over and he was dismissed. The Admiral once more stared into the stars as he awaited for his ship's guests to arrive.

The wookie growled as he approached the Star Destroyer. Both of his furred hands clenched his ship's controls, the machinery specially designed for his massive fingers. A ping of nervousness shot through his nerves as he slowed his advance and shifted towards the hangar's doors which had been opened.

Then he passed through the barrier, his brown eyes focused on the hangar bay's floor which was mostly barren except for a few transport vessels. The recognizable TIE fighter's could be seen docked above, attached to railings of some sort. Raarkoo parked his fighter, then unbuckled himself from the pilot's chair. As he did this he could feel the eyes of all the Imperials on his ship.

Raarkoo gathered his supplies, with a deep breath he flipped the switch which opened the doors. Then he stepped onto the steel floor outside of his vessel, one of his hands went to his belt as he activated his translator droid. It came on with a chirp as the small machine floated up above his shoulders, its yellow 'eyes' began to scan its surroundings.

An Imperial walked towards Raarkoo, an officer of some kind by his uniform. One his left side the wookie took notice of several Stormtroopers, their helmets turned towards him, each with blaster rifles drawn. One slapped the other in the chest plate as they noticed Raarkoo exit his vehicle.

"You are the wookie bounty hunter, Raarkoo?" The officer asked, butchering his name as he spoke it. From the expression on the man's face he seemed unsure if Raarkoo could understand his words. He also seemed to be quite nervous around the furred creature which made him look like a child in stature.

He also stood a distance from Raarkoo, out of the giant's reach. Humans could be so cowardly, they always treated him like a beast. The Stormtroopers looked almost eager to take a shot at him. Raarkoo spoke to the officer, his words coming out as a mix of growls and roars. His small translator droid instantly translated them to Galactic Basic once the wookie finished what he wanted to say.

"Obviously. There aren't many bounty hunters from my species, you Imperials enslaved us all. I suggest you order your soldiers over there to stop looking at me like a wild animal. I'm sure there is dirty work you could have them do." The words came out in a masculine tone, the officer understanding each one.

"Certainly. The Admiral asked for us to treat you bounty hunters like proper guests." The human answered, taken aback by the words spoken to him. He turned towards the Stormtroopers, gave them a glare and waved his hand. They moved away and walked in the opposite direction. That was better.

"I hope you do that. The other bounty hunters may not be as understanding as me, I know that some of them are very jumpy people." Raarkoo said, as he glared at the officer who seemed to take another step backwards.

"Yes, the Admiral understood that as well. Now please, follow me." He said as he turned his back to the wookie and started to walk towards the interior of the ship. Raarkoo followed behind. As they moved they passed by a duo of Stormtroopers who both seemed to stare at the bounty hunter from behind their helmets. Raarkoo growled at them and kept walking.

"Why didn't he greet me personally?" Raarkoo asked the man as they entered a hallway.

"He has matters to attend to first, he will be with you and others shortly, Once they have all arrived. Captain Dene is waiting in the conference room, he is second in command on this vessel. He'll be glad to address any of your questions better than I can." The officer replied as he stopped at a door. It came open a second later.

Raarkoo entered into into it, inside was a single round table. Chairs were set up around it. At the opposite end of the room stood another human, Captain Dene. The wookie regarded him with a nod, which the man returned. He had the same look of nervousness that the weakling that greeted him had on his face. Raarkoo then took a seat at the table, his translator droid setting itself in front of him.

Out in the empty vast expanses of space, a lone ship maintained present coordinates. Moments later another ship emerged from hyperspace right next to it, a significantly smaller ship. Though it was heading straight for the Imperial Star Destroyer, the Phantom Seeker did not make any attempts to slow down, but maintained high velocity as it shot straight toward the landing bay. Stormtroopers and Imperial personnel jumped out of the way as the ship careened toward them in what appeared to be a crash landing. The sleek Nubian ship did not crash, however, but stopped right on target. On board the ship captain and pilot, one rodian looking apathetic, strode to the ship's exit.

"Stay with the Seeker," he ordered the three cronies aboard, "And make sure nobody touches her for any reason." The crewman nodded in the affirmative and the rodian disembarked. He was greeted just outside by a small squad of stormtroopers, who had their blasters raised, and two low-ranking officers.

"Lower your weapons, men. It's one of the bounty hunters Admiral Vondell sent for and his orders were exceedingly clear on how to greet these guests." The slightly higher ranked officer barked orders at the men, who lowered their weapons with some reluctance. Apparently they didn't appreciate the Phantom Seeker zooming through their docking bay with reckless abandon, even if nothing was damaged and nobody was hurt.

"Which rodian are you, then?" asked the second officer. "Vo, or Kenu?"

The rodian remained silent for the moment, only raising an eyebrow at the question. There were others invited today? He had hoped the Empire was looking to hire him exclusively. After all, the message spoke of a very high risk, high reward job. Who else would even be worthy?

"Clearly you need to revisit the reputation of our illustrious guest, Bodaan Kenu," the first officer chided the second. "Who else would pull such a stunt? Please forgive my colleague and follow me. Captain Dene is waiting for you in one of our conference rooms."

Bodaan shrugged and did exactly that. The officer lead him through the star destroyer, through the brightly lit halls swarming with troopers and technicians, until they came to an administration wing of the starship. There the officer opened a door into a room with a round conference table, surrounded by chairs. Inside was another human with the markings of a captain, no doubt this Dene the officer referred to, as well as a wookiee. Bodaan stepped inside and took a seat of his own, opposite that of the wookiee. He made no attempt to address either being he shared the room with, but stared at Captain Dene, expectantly.

Ranna Wessiri

Ranna pulled The Iron Wolf into the dock assigned to her for this trip. She looked at her droid as she was shutting the ship down. "Ok you know what to do. I'll be back." Ranna made her way through the ship and ducked into her room. She put on her jacket and spiked boots and she ran a hairbrush through her hair and pulled it neatly back away from her face. Putting all of her usual things in her pockets she added her blaster.

Ranna looked at her blaster and cursed herself for forgetting she needed a new holster for it. Ranna looked at herself in the mirror and decided she was presentable and walked out of the room blaster in hand. "Alright Techno, I'm going. Lock her down." Ranna said as she walked down the landing ramp and listened for the motor pulling the ramp up. She walked towards the entrance and was greeted by another human.

"Hello Ranna, I see you are here to see Admiral Vondell."

"That's right."

"Right this way then." He led her into the ship and to the conference room. "You can wait in here." Ranna nodded. She had been looking around and she liked the look of the place although as per usual it all felt cold.

When she entered the room she noticed three others. The human she recognized as Captain Dene. She had never met him but she recognized him. The Wookie she recognized. They had run into each other before. She wasn't sure what she had said to him back then since her wookie language was not her best. She might have called him something terrible or she might have just irritated him she wasn't certain. The third was a Rodian with blue skin. Unusual color for a Rodian. She thought to herself.

Ranna walked in closing the door behind her. Captain Dene looked slightly less tense because she was human. She smiled as he did his best to hide his nervousness about the wookie being there. He said, "Please sit Ranna Wessiri." Ranna took a vacant seat next to no one and set her blaster on her lap, just in case.

The Salvation dropped out of hyperspace a short distance from the Imperial Star Destroyer. The Kaleesh at the helm on flipped a few switches setting the ship back to normal functions before glancing over at the R3 astromech head that was all that remained of the integrated droid. "R3, land us in the hanger bay and get us settled in. I need to go grab my gear before we land." Raz told the mech as he grabbed his mask off the dashboard and headed out of the bridge to take the stairs down to the large cargo hold that could hold a fighter if he wanted one.

There were a few beeps over the intercom as R3 told Raz that they had entered the hanger. Than there was a shutter through the ship as it touched down and the cargo doors opened to the sides as a ramp extended to the ground. The Kaleesh strapped his waist holsters on and hung his rifle from his back before exiting the ship and being greeted with a human officer who seemed uneasy on his feet even with several stormtroopers just behind him.

"Greeting Bounty Hunter. If you would follow me, we can proceed to where the meeting will take place."

With that the officer turned with the stormtroopers and lead the way out of the hanger. "Cute matching uniforms there humans. I seem to recall a similar group with just as useless armor." Raz prodded at the troopers with a glare on his face as he harbored no love for the Empire for the Galactic Republic before them. He than caught a some of the troopers tighten the grip on their weapons and he rested one hand on a pistol and another on his sword on his chest.

The officer cleared his throat as he tried to relieve the tension that hung in the air and clapped his hands. "I would request that you refrain from those kind of comments while you are on this ship. That war may be past put the impact still remains for some people. And with that, it would appear that we have arrived. Captain Dene will be waiting inside for you with a few others." He said while gesturing toward the door right next to the group.

Raz Qui Sij'Tic walked into the room where a man in a uniform stood at one end of the room with three hunters seated at a round table. He didn't recognize two of Bounty Hunters but the Rodian as Bodaan Kenu. "Bodaan, I thought I recognized your useless yacht out in that hanger." He said with a nice tone in his voice as he had run into the Rodian a few times at racing events while he was hunting down a few targets.

Vidori "Sellgun" Selgan

The sleek, Mandalorian-designed Second Blade dropped out of hyperspace just in time to see a ship IDed as the Phantom Seeker seemingly crash into the expected Star Destroyer's docking bay. Considering no explosion seemed to follow from inside the massive ship, the Second Blade's pilot determined that the other ship had some seriously good braking thrusters...and an idiot for a pilot. Not the same for him. He opened a comm channel with the Imperial behemoth as two other ships headed in to dock.
"This is Vidori Selgan in the Second Blade, requesting landing clearance as per request of an Admiral Vondell."
"Avenger Control reads you, Second Blade. You are cleared to land in the main hanger bay, thanks for asking...just, ah...just pick a spot that saves room for other people."
"Acknowledged, Avenger Control. Tell your friends I said hi."
He takes the Second Blade into the Avenger's docking bay at a more moderate pace than his predecessor, turning the ship around and setting it down in a neat and orderly fashion. Grabbing his helmet and slipping it onto his belt, he lowers the docking ramp and strides quickly out, his black coat swishing behind him as he walks towards the two Imperial Officers coming to greet him.
They stop a few meters away. "Mister Selgan, Admiral Vondell has a conference room ready for briefing you and the other hunters. If you would please follow me..."
Selgan falls easily into step with them as they head through the ship. Soon enough, they arrive at the conference room and Selgan goes in. He recognizes...the fact that one of the hunters already here is a wookie, and the fact that one of them is a Rodian, and the fact that one of them is a Kaleesh, and the fact that one of them is another Human. Oh, and the fact that one of them is an Imperial captain. Dene, if he remembered the file correctly. He pulls out a chair not too close to anyone else and sits in it, leaning back and putting his hands behind his head as he surveys the...competition? Cohorts?

Sol'id Fist
\

The Corellian XS Light Freighter, dubbed the Hammer by Sol'id himself, slowly entered the landing zone. The engines slowing made the standard d-d-d-d-d-d-d-d noise, before thrumming as normal until it landed. Ssssssshhhhh. The stormtroopers and an Imperial officer greeted him. The man seemed on edge, almost as if he was about to piss himself. Sol'id was used to that response. With one booted thud, he stepped heavily out of the ship and onto the landing dock.

He stood tall and ominous, with his VibroAxe strapped to his back via an electromagnetic sheath. His WESTAR-M5 was in his hands, and his face and body was covered by his custom Mandalorian armor. He breathed audibly, as if he had a hellish engine inside of the helmet. "Who am I to kill?" he asked, his voice gruff and deep. If the Officer hadn't wet himself yet, Sol'id was sure that the man had now. He pointed to the exit of the docks. "T-These troops will escort you to the meeting room." The Mandalorian gave a nod in response, but didn't budge. "I am waiting on a comrade."

Keell had his eyes closed, trying to ignore the sounds of human conversation around him and the hum of the ship's engines. It didn't work, of course. He could still hear several of the Stormtroopers complaining about how short planet leave had been, how tight the armour was and, of course, how demeaning it was to share their vessel with an alien. Now and then, he'd feel the weight of their gazes, as repulsed as they were distrustful. It was only his official documents that had gotten him onboard and kept him safe from harrassment or attack. Keell didn't mind their stares or muttered complaints though. His mind was on other things, reeling through lists of figures. Expenses, costs, upkeeps, all the different columns of numbers filtered through his mind to line themselves neatly for inspection.

Another day, another job. Another job, another payment. Another payment, another day. The mantra was like an underlying rhythm to the numbers, slowly being repeated without variation. This was just another ordeal to get through, just another trial before he could claim his financial compensation, store it with the rest and move on. Angry eyes from Stormtroopers meant little to a being raised under the three suns of Tatooine. Their gazes lasted longer and burned more.

His musings were brought to an end by a voice on the ship intercom. "Alright boys, we've docked. Time to go and find your bunks and lockers before falling in for inspection. See you next time you have leave." The ship had evidently arrived at its destination, the I-class Star Destroyer, Avenger, where Keell was expected for a... well, he wasn't entirely sure. A summons for bounty hunters of a certain caliber (though Keell thought of himself as more of an assassin, given that he had yet to bring a target in alive) and presumably the offer of a new job.

After allowing the grumbling troopers to disembark, Keell exited the ship to be greeted by a marginally less surly administrative officer. "Greetings, you must be Keell Vo. Welcome to the Avenger, if you'll follow me to the briefing room." And with that, the man set off at a brisk pace. The Rodian followed him, not missing the surprised and often times disgusted glances he was getting from the crew. It seemed non-humans were not a common sight around here, who knew?

The briefing room seemed to be the exception to that rule, there already being a Wookie and another Rodian there. Keell sank into an unoccupied chair opposite his fellow Rodian, making sure not to catch anyone's eye but simply waiting for the talking to being. In his experience, there was always a great deal of talk before a job could begin.

Another day, another job. Another job, another payment. Another payment, another day.

Without Mercy

Slowly drifting in from the drop-point, the fighter took its time heading towards the star destroyer confident that this was the mark. The pilot took a glance over at the side of the cockpit where a series of marks had been made in the durasteel, each one scored with a small binary code. "Pull up the list of personnel once more." His voice was mechanical, synthesized through a series of assumed nuances and a pool of sixty-five human males of an average age and across the known galaxy. For this moment, his dialect hinted at upper-corellian reminiscent of one of the aristocratic families and likely drawn from one of them seeking to make a little more credits than they deserved.

Within a moment, the R4 unit ahead of him in the socket of the ARC-170 had fed the data into the wire connecting with his arm, transferring the full packet and letting him peruse it fully in an instant. Through a reflex of his past, the bounty-hunter/assassin had decided to do a bit of ground work on who he was to be working for before making his way to the meeting point, but it was not for the same reason others would. For those it would be a matter of seeing if they were worthy enough of their services, a bit of pride in their own skills and wanting to make sure of the qualifications. No, for him it was different. This was personal, and it was almost a disappointment when none of the faces of the crew matched with the records he had kept of that one incident.

"Dump the records and send the docking packet to the Avenger's hangar control." Not having a personal target on board made things a little easier for the mechanical mercenary, and immediately there was less interest in trying to outdo whatever other scum might have also answered the call. That was not to say that he cared nothing for whatever mission the Imperials had that couldn't be taken care of with massed blaster-fire. A thought in particular hung on him while they docked, feeling the soft impact of the landing gear hitting the plate deck and Rustbucket deciding to take their leave of the fighter. If something couldn't be taken care of by simply throwing stormtroopers at it, then what kind of problems were the Imperials having?

The thought would have to wait, it seemed that he was not the first to arrive by far, and the officer approaching looked a bit haggard as one would after dealing with the scum of the galaxy. As the hatch came up, so did blasters around the fighter and Mercy couldn't help but have a laugh to himself as he kept his form hidden beneath the folds of the robes he wore. "So eager to fight and die, but now is not the time for you vat-born." His mechanical voice dispelled the assumption that he was the one of those few rogue Jedi left roaming the galaxy, and the hood falling to reveal his metal face and orange ocular units slowly began to instill the fear and confusion he so loved.

"You must be one of the ones the Admiral has been expecting..." He left the sentence hang for a moment, almost expecting him to finish it for him. That would be done, but first a certain astromech was not falling in line as it should. Mercy turned swiftly and brought a metal fist down hard on the top of the R4 unit, stunning it momentarily and reinforcing who was the dominant one. "HK-133/5 and that's all you need to know." The assassin droid said simply, waiting for the R4 unit to come around in front of him before lightly climbing up into a sitting position on the dome of the droid despite that the action cause the central unit to dip a little lower to the ground. Staring the officer directly in the eyes, he gave a tap to the side of the droid and headed off towards the conference room via astromech droid.

Of course, with no other route to go it would be a short moment before the door slide open and the struggling R4 came to a stop at the side of the table so that it appeared as if Mercy was seated. A cursory glance gave him all he needed to know about those around him, and what he didn't know he would pull from the archives of other bounty-hunters his droid kept on him. Wookie, human, rodian, another human, another rodian... A Kaleesh? If Mercy could smile, it would be a grin of sadistic pleasure from the cast of characters who had answered the call of the Empire.

Captain Dene had stayed silent as each of the bounty hunters entered the conference room. To him they were just scum, their morality depended on how many credits they got paid. If the enemy offered them more than he knew many of them would switch sides. He still didn't understand the Admiral's reasoning, Stormtroopers were more elite than many bounty hunters. But Dene was eager to hear the exact reason for the summoning of the hunters.

The wookie was just the start of it, he despised the beasts. They were unpredictable and more animal than man. The armed one that entered the room first had drawn his attention immediately, if it was his ship then he would have had that wookie put in chains and sent into the mines. The presence of the two rodians didn't surprise him, many had their hands in the dirty fields within the galaxy. At least they were a somewhat predictable race.

The humans were a better sight to see. One of them was a woman, he had actually spoken a greeting to her. Another of them was a cocky looking man, he was leaned back in his chair. The strange masked alien that wandered in after the woman confused the Captain, he didn't know that one's race. It knew the first Rodian and was apparently friendly with him. Then a second rodian entered, a different shade of color than the first. He wondered if the two knew each other.

Then the most peculiar...thing wandered in. A full fledged combat droid wrapped in a Jedi robe. That was more strange of a sight than the wookie. It was not an IG series droid, he'd seen those before. This type that just entered the room was something unknown to him. The machine creeped him out, the eyes sent a shiver throughout his body. After that came the last expected bounty hunter, a heavily armored man who quietly took a seat, not removing his helmet. The armor reminded the Captain of a Stormtrooper's, but it was different.

"Greetings to all of you, welcome to the Avenger. I'm sure you are all wondering why exactly you have been called here, that question will be answered shortly." Captain Dene stated as he took a step forward and glanced over each of the assembled bounty hunters. As he was about to speak again the door came open once more and the imposing figure of Admiral Vondell appeared in the doorway, this drew all the eyes in the room, including the Captain who flashed a salute as Vondell walked around one side of the table.

"So these are the fierce bounty hunters that answered our call," The Admiral said in his deep, rough tone as he stood at the head of the table, Dene to his side. Vondell paused for a moment as he looked over the bounty hunters. "I am Admiral Vondell and this is my ship . You are here for reasons which suit your kind better than every others."

"Five wanted individuals, all with high prices on each of their heads. Luckily for you all, our intelligence indicates they are all located on one world. Corellia." He pressed a button on the table and above the center of it a hologram of the world appeared.

"It is a breathable, highly populated world, its population numbering in the hundreds of millions. Many of them live in the capitol, Coronet City," Vondell said, then pressed another button to display a picture of part of the city. "It is likely some of the targets will be in the city, but not all. Others may be hidden in the mountains and forests outside the capitol, or bunkered into one of the smaller towns."

"The Imperial rule is law throughout the world, though we've noticed that some have tried to resist the rule. More and more civilians have been thrown into prisons after violent protests and even riots," Vondell continued, as he folded his hands behind his back. "There are five targets on the world. Each of them are likely to have friends on the world, scum willing to shelter and protect them, follow their idiotic ways. We don't care what happens to their followers, but the five targets must be captured alive. Simply bring them to one of the Imperial offices within the capitol, your payment will be given and the bounties will be relieved from you."

"The first two targets are both human males, Jallo Ram amd Vinis Rikil. Ran has been detained previously for rioting but escaped custody. Rikil is wanted for several outstanding crimes including assaulting Imperial personal," The Admiral stated, then pressed more buttons as the holograms changed. First to a mugshot of Jallo Ram and then to an artists depiction of Rikil. He pressed another button and the hologram returned to that of Corellia. "The others we do not have images of. First there is a middle aged human woman, Myla Delles, a wealthy philanthropist who is believed to be funding 'anti-Imperial activities' on the world. She has activly spoken out against the Empire, and we've lost track of her recent whereabouts."

"Then there are two non-humans, first a Twi'lek girl, Ekil'begam. Her skin is a blue shade, scars are present on her right lek. Then there is Kri Siv, a Sullustan male. He is missing his right leg and has replaced it with a metal prosthetic. Both have criminal sentences against them for organizing dissent against the Empire." Vondell said, then the hologram changed to display each of the bounties names, their prices underneath the names. Both human males were wanted for 20k credits each, Delles for 15k and both the non-humans for 10k each.

"Are there any questions? If not then you are all free to leave." Vondell finally said as he crossed his arms. Dene still to his side.

Vidori "Sellgun" Selgan

Selgan raised an eyebrow in the Admiral's direction, along with a hand. "So...let me get this straight...you're sending a bunch of bounty hunters, assorted hirelings, and myself into Corellia to apprehend what basically amounts to a couple rabble-rousers, a rabble-rouser sponser, and two rabble-rouser organizers...and yet you aren't bothering to send your toy soldiers after them, or you've already tried and failed to do so, and you are paying more for the capture of the rabble-rousers than the rich sponser or the organizers? Meaning that they have somewhat more to them than is needed for simple 'assault and rioting'? Not only that, but you somehow don't even have images of the latter three targets? That doesn't sound as much like a simple bag and tag a few scum as you are making it out to be, if it was you wouldn't call for us. Make this simple for us Admiral, what aren't you telling us?"

Ranna looked at Selgan and she stated to Admiral Vondell. "I agree that your choice to send all of us is odd considering most of them are females and they haven't done anything vicious according to you. And honestly, Correlia? That is my home planet, why would you need all of us to round up a few miscreants?"

Ranna caught Vondell's eye and he looked perplexed that they are asking questions of him. Ranna stared right at him with enough attitude to demand an answer.

Bodaan sat patiently, waiting for the meeting to start. Hecontinued to stare directly at the captain expectantly, but found his eyes wandering as each of the other bounty hunters came in. Competition? Partners? It was too early to tell. Regardless, Bodaan was confident that he would complete the job.

The first to arrive after Bodaan was another human, a younger woman. Judging by her attire, she was likely to be Corellian. Apart from that, he knew nothing of her. but her eyes seemed to hold on him for just a moment. Did she recognize him? He certainly had hoped so. She took an empty seat and kept herself prepared. Not a bad precaution, but one that Bodaan thought unnecessary for the moment.

The next to come in Bodaan did recognize, though he had to search his memory for a moment before he brought a name to the face. The kaleesh, Raz Qui Sij'Tic, greeted him with some kind of insult to his ship, yet the kaleesh had a completely friendly tone. Strange. Was this sarcasm? Bodaan couldn't tell. Rather than answer him directly, the rodian gave Raz a simple nod. He had no strong opinions of Raz, but did recall that they had met a couple times at some of Bodaan's races. Perhaps Raz was a fan? Feeling it prudent to be safe rather than sorry, Bodaan created an autoprint and slid it over to where Raz had chosen to sit. To my fan, Raz Qui Sij'Tic. Bodaan Kenu.

After Raz was another one that Bodaan had recognized. The second human bounty hunter to enter was Vidori Selgan, more commonly known by his professional name "Sellgun." The jovial fellow was somewhat infamous among their ranks for disappearing while a large bounty had been placed on his own head. Bodaan had not been interested in hunting the man, but from what he had heard Sellgun froze himself in carbonite and buried himself during the time, only to resurface and rescind the bounty, which he had placed on himself. Bodaan was extremely interested in the purpose of such a convoluted scheme and what it had accomplished, but had to admit that it was still an impressive feat.

Once Sellgun had gotten himself comfortable, the door opened once more. Had it not been for the sound of the door's mechanisms, and the fact that Bodaan was specifically paying attention to everyone entering the room, he might have missed the next one to enter. Another rodian, but one that was very unassuming, stepped into the conference room. This guy almost blended right into the walls, like he was just part of the scenery. Bodaan searched his memory for the identity of this one, but found nothing. His people were so numerous in the profession, and this one fit no descriptions of any notables he could think of. The Imperials wouldn't hire a no-name though, not if they had also hired the likes of Bodaan and Sellgun, so this other rodian almost certainly was hiding something.

Then entered the most interesting of the group thus far. A being draped in cloak and mystery stepped foot into the conference room, hiding its face. The hunter's keep ears picked up the most telling sound of metal on the floor. The cloak wasn't large enough to conceal a man wearing heavy metal armor, unless this was a particularly small species. An option a little more likely was... A moment later and the being pulled down its hood, showing itself as a droid, but not any kind of droid Bodaan was familiar with. He shrugged it off. Ships were more his forte anyway.

Finally the last bounty hunter entered, a man wearing the heavy armor and helmet of the Mandalorians. Bodaan thought little of him as he quietly took a seat, but knew that if they had all been gathered together, there must have been something extraordinary going on. As each of the other hunters entered, Bodaan took only the glance he needed to get an idea of them, then returned his gaze back to Captain Dene with that expectant look in his eyes. Finally the meeting began proper. The admiral entered, the man that had called them all here, and he immediately took charge of the situation. Then what was the purpose of Captain Dene? Was he a glorified babysitter? Bodaan quickly readjusted his thinking, as the train of thought was irrelevant.

Admiral Vondell spoke to the group of the assignment, at first going into detail about Corellia and its capitol. Bodaan thought this explanation unnecessary and inefficient. Corellia was one of the most famous core worlds, and a pioneer in ship design and construction. For both the Empire and the Republic that came before, Corellia was a key system, so anybody that didn't know about it was an idiot that didn't deserve a seat in this room. Then the admiral went into the actual meat of the matter: five bounties. Three humans, a twi'lek, and a sullustan, each wanted for different crimes against the Empire. All par for the course, but there was some discrepancy with the way the job was described. Discrepancy that was quickly inquired about by Sellgun and the human woman. Bodaan's expression never once changed. He would let them ask the questions for the time being.

It took Sol'id a long time to sit down. "I prefer to stand." he said, without budging an inch. Impassive behind his helmet, he stood tall and at the ready, but it became clear that things wouldn't move forward if he did not sit, so with silent agreement he grabbed a chair. The Mandalorian gazed around without moving his head, taking in all of the faces one by one. These were people he might need to kill, after all.

His arms rested upon the table, hands in fists. He listened intently, the information processing into his head like words being inserted into a computer. He agreed that there was something off with how this Admiral was presenting the bounties. But he didn't often question such things. He performed acts of violence and got paid for such services, because no one else was as skilled at it as he, or had the stomach for it.

He decided he would speak up however, because there was one aspect that irked him. "Alive, you say?" he said, breaking the silence after the others questions. "Why?" Sol'id looked squarely at the Admiral at this point. He would get them alive if need be, but bounties were much easier and more enjoyable when he could dispatch them.

"Corellia is a vastly important world to the Empire, not only are many of our great ships built there but it is home to millions of loyal Imperial citizens. We can't just march our soldiers through the streets and have them kick in doors. That would cause an outcry and give the voices of dissent more support. That situation could spiral into a full blown riot, even a civil war." The Admiral replied, as he crossed his arms and looked Sellgun then Ranna in the eyes each.

"By capturing these bounties now it puts an immediate stop to their rebel rousing. If they are left unchecked then they will only gain strength behind their voices. We don't have images of the last three because they have been able to avoid encounter with our peacekeepers. It's a very large world, if one hides hard enough they can stay hidden. That's why we're offering you all far more than you'd expect to find each of these targets." Vondell continued on, Dene silent as he let his boss do the talking. He just wanted the bounty hunters off the ship, it was making many onboard antsy.

"We need them alive because you cannot question a corpse. If these targets are the source of the talks of rebellion then capturing them puts an end to it. If it turns out they are just a cog in it then we can persuade them to tell us who is to blame for it. It is all a matter of keeping the peace. If they are killed then that could very well lead to martyrdom," The Admiral said as he turned his attention to the Mandolorian. He did not feel he had to elaborate on the last point. Then he added on another point, his words ice cold as they came out of his mouth. "You won't receive payment if the targets are killed."

Then Dene whispered something into the Admiral's ear. There was other business he had to attend to on the ship. The bounty hunters would be able to discover any truths they seeked on the world, if they didn't feel comfortable doing the job then they could just go the other way and act like they were never called to the Avenger.

"I have another meeting I must attend to. You all are dismissed." The Admiral stated, then moved towards the door at the same pace he entered it. The Captain following behind him as he did so, just before he left the room he paused in stride as Vondell turned towards the hunters one last time.

"I almost forgot, the Empire has sent a sum of credits to each of you, one thousand each if I recall correctly? Consider it a forward payment." He said, then for the first time flashed a smile before he and the Captain exited the conference room.

The wookie sighed to himself at the situation. Something was shady about it, but the credits were very good. A minute after the two mysterious Imperials left, he did the same, his translator droid beeping to itself as he walked back towards the hangar.

Vidori "Sellgun" Selgan

Selgan wasted no time in getting up and heading out of the room himself, tipping a little salute in the general direction of the bounty hunters. "Welp, I'll see you boys on the ground." Walking briskly back to the hanger and his ship, he checked his account balance and verified that he was a thousand credits richer. Twenty thousand credits wasn't chickenfeed, but it also wasn't all that up there with a lot of his usual jobs either. But multiple targets, capturing all of them would add up to a nice tidy haul, and that wasn't counting potential added opportunities. And he probably had the edge on his competition too...as a predominantly human world, the two Rodians would stick out like sore thumbs on Corellia, and the Mandalorian even more so. The droid was an unknown, but shouldn't be too hard to spot. The wookie would be practically a beacon, no problems with keeping him under surveillance. Heck, he might even be able to hide a camera on it's fur. Powering up his ship, he took off out of the Avenger's hanger and entered hyperspace in seconds, bound for Corellia.

Ranna's instincts were telling her that this was not something she should involve herself with. She hurried back to her ship and the ramp came down perfectly timed as Techno was tracking her. She got in and put the shields up and disembarked from the Avenger and took off. This was her decision on the matter. She went into her account and had the thousand credits returned. Something just felt off so she went back across the galaxy and picked up where she left off on her bounties out there.

At the pronouncement that he wouldn't be paid if they were dead, Soli'd's hands slowly curled into fists. No one could see the expression on his face, but they could almost feel his displeasure. Still, he'd bagged bounties alive plenty of times before. It just wasn't his favorite option. He would do well, however. It was all a matter of making sure they would be immobile after finding them. This admiral never said that they couldn't have a few broken bones. Provided they gave him trouble, of course. He would simply bind them if they were cooperative.
But they were never cooperative.

The Mandalorian stood to his full height, and gave a nod to his fellow. "Brother." he said, before turning and making his way out. The thousand credits was a nice gesture of good faith. The Empire might be as despicable as the next fascist regime, but they did good business. And good business was all Sol'id cared for. That and the hunt.

Bodaan listened intently as the admiral answered the inquiries posited by his fellow bounty hunters. As far as he could tell, the admiral gave good reasoning. Even if he hadn't and Bodaan still thought the story to be full of holes, it's not like he would care. The Imperials could merely have told the group that they just didn't like these people's faces and Bodaan would be as accepting. So long as the glory is there and he can get his thrill, that's all that matters. Even the credits weren't of any real concern. It's not like the rodian wasn't already well off. Championship races paid a lot more than most bounties, after all.

Once the admiral dismissed them, Bodaan stood up without pause and turned to leave, but stopped when the admiral addressed them one final time, telling them that 1,000 credits have already been forwarded to the bounty hunters. Fair enough. With that final message in mind, Bodaan strode out of the conference room, surrounded by the others, and headed straight for the Phantom Seeker.

"What's the word, boss?" asked one of the ship's crewman as Bodaan reboarded his pride.

"Corellia. Multiple high profile targets. Multiple hunters in competition." The rodian moved passed his hired help, sealing the ship's entry ramp, and sat in the pilot's seat. In a few seconds, they were off to Corellia.

Raarkoo silently walked back to his ship, as he moved his droid floated overhead. The wookie's eyes had landed back on a battalion of stormtroopers that were doing a training exercise at one end of the hangar. They all ignored him as he entered his ship, he strapped himself back into the seat. Raarkoo allowed himself a minute to get comfortable then he flicked several switches as he ship's engines ignited and he lifted out of the hangar into the darkness of space.

The other bounty hunters had done the same, all of them leaving the Avenger as silently as they had appeared. This pleased the Admiral who stood on the bridge, his eyes following each paid hunter's ship as they darted into hyperspace. Once they had all left his vessel he ordered the Avenger to move. In an instant the massive ship too entered hyperspace as it went to an unknown location.

Near the planet of Corellia all of the bounty hunter's ships appeared. None of them tried to gun each other down, Raarkoo was one of the first to enter the planet's orbit. He passed by several other civilian ships. Some were freighters that had to deliver their cargo, some others were yachts that carried their wealthy owners. The wookie didn't care about them as the breathtaking capital city came into view. It was almost the exact same as the Imperial's picture.

Raarko landed his ship in one of the many docking bays around Coronet City. His plan was to immediately get to work. He paid a small fee that ensured his ship would be there when he came back to it, then unclipped himself from the pilot's chair. With one check of his equipment he left his ship. It locked up behind him as he walked into the crowds, his mind set on finding a cantina in the area, those tended to be filled with loose lips.

Vidori "Sellgun" Selgan

Selgan dropped out of hyperspace a short time after one of the other hunter ships he had seen, and quickly pilots the Second Blade to a docking bay in Coronet. He's more than familiar with the place, and after making sure the docking fees were paid and his licenses are up to date, he heads out of the spaceport and towards the central CorSec offices for Coronet City. Moronic Imps may not have pictures of his targets, but CorSec certainly would. On his way out, he inconspicuously flips a pair of small surveillance monitors onto the spaceport walls overlooking the entrance, and sets his path to the CorSec offices to pass near some of the local cantinas.
