The world is not what it seems. People die every day. You just don’t know it yet. But you’ve noticed, right? Those stories in the news about people suddenly dropping dead in public, showing signs of injury that shouldn’t be possible. That shouldn’t be seen.
Those are real. I should know. I helped cause some of those deaths myself.
Not directly of course. It was never direct with us. Casualties are common these days. By now you should have realized that you’re only here because he sent you. What was it this time? An unrequited love? The chance to fix your mistakes, to save everyone? To bring hope?
Don’t make me laugh. Hope doesn’t exist. But it was enough of a lie for you to buy into it if you’re here, right? We’re at war right now, and I can’t say I blame the little bastard for making a contract with you. He knows we need all the help we can get.
They’re called Primordials. Erase all those lies about witches and nightmares right now, because those aren’t real. These things, the creatures that take our shape and form to fight back, are real. They have one goal, as far as we can tell. Consume all of humanity. And then there's the others. The opposing side. The ones who look like us, think like us, fight like us. But they're not us. If they were, we wouldn't be at war with one another. Remember: They are not us.
He knew the human race would become extinct if he didn’t step in. And now you’re here. Right then. Might as well show you how this business works.

A RP based on the world of Puella Magi Madoka Magica set before the events of the series.
It’s your once in a life-time opportunity to become a defender of justice and all that is held holy in the world. You’ve been sought out and contacted by a being that’s probably way too cute for you to handle. A being that made a Contract with you and turned you into something more.
What he didn’t tell you was that it really sucks to be special right now. The world has become blind to arcane activity, allowing dark creatures known as Primordials to enter this reality and feed off of humanity’s flesh. They are invisible to the mortal eye, only seen by those possessing high amounts of power and will.
Magical Girls, those who are destined to fight this secret war.
That’s where you come in. You’ve made the Contract, you’ve tested your skills, and now it’s time to defend your home from the forces of darkness. The mysterious Miso City. A territory under the protection of two powerful groups of Magical Girls: those who believe in the old ideals of truth and justice and those who have become deadened to such thoughts and more cynical to their cursed existence. Which side will you choose? Are your powers a blessing, or a curse? Either way, you’re part of a team now, surrounded by people just like you.

But remember, this is war. War kills, through and through. And as you become stronger and bond with your newfound friends, something sinister is stirring in the heart of Miso City. Are you ready to become a hero?
