edit: @Nevis, @Bright_Ops, how overt is this gang war? Is it being fought mostly in the slums? Are the Guard getting involved? Is there a lot of collateral?

Mostly in the slums and ghetto, although there is some minor spillover. The guards are only little involved as of yet; they seem to be quite occupied with something else today, although no ond seems to be quite certain what with.

Ah, thanks. Why is there no longer a button for that? I see that colors are still an option, yet the button for that is gone as well... is there somewhere I can look up these codes?

And a few things to note in regards to your post:

It is known as Hyrule Castle City, not Town.

Lon Lon Ranch is huge, although it does not take up 'most' of the southern fields; Hyrule is akin to Switzerland or Austria in size here and the capital city is right in the center of it. It is usually around a week-long journey by horse or cart, assuming one is not prioritizing speed or implementing magic.

The Red Pinion was a great touch. Although goats are not well-suited to drawing carts~

Ordon goats are the size of a horse according to lore- and the colors can be found below, hit the toggle cheat sheet and there will be a section for colors

So, I just posted and I'm open to all sorts of criticism about my writing and the plot I made as well. If tying into the gang world was a bad idea, then I can change things.

There are a few punctuation errors and the like across it-however, the plot holds. Note that Kakariko, a large village, is at the base of Death Mountain en route to Castle City. And there is no requirement to censor profanity, although you may if you wish. Heroes is spelled with an e after the o.

And, no, rolling with the gang element was a great idea.

Ok, didn't know about Kariko, I might add a snippet of sleeping there the first night, or just leave that to be assumed, and yeah, I don't always review my posts in depth before submitting so punctuation and spelling may be a little off.
