The Beach House

Location; Outside on the beach โ†’ Kitchen
Interacting With; No one.
The sun was rising and brightening up the horizon before her on the sunny Los Angeles beach, letting everyone on the coast know that a new day was arriving. The waves were crashing against each other softly, as well. She stood against the pier early this morning, watching the sunrise as she loved every single moment of it. A soft, gentle breeze blew through her, causing a few of her brunette locks of hair brush against her face. Ashleigh honestly loved being at the beach house every summer. It was a nice getaway from the everyday celebrity life.

Herself along with the other celebs have been at the house for about a week now and luckily, they've basically done nothing but catch up with each other to see how they been doing and such. Ashleigh hasn't really been up to much, well, she did just come back from a tour and told her manager to cancel any scheduled appearances and any performances she had coming up because this summer was going to be hers, and hers alone.

After watching the sunrise, she smiled and turned heel, walking the small mile back towards the house, entering through the backdoor. She wandered through the laundry room and finally made her way to the kitchen, where she went to the fridge and grabbed a yogurt then got a spoon and sat down at the dining table. She was oddly the only one up right now, well, she was an early riser. Probably the only one in the house. Ashleigh really didn't expect anyone else to be up close to seven in the morning, anyway.

Ashleigh turned on the television in the kitchen to the news and saw that they were still talking about her breakup that happened like three whole months ago. She honestly hated the media and how they exaggerated things. Donovan took the breakup well and so did she because they both felt like they needed some space and both were perfectly okay with it. With a sigh, she turned off the television then decided to sit on the counter while enjoying her strawberry and banana yogurt.

'God. Wish someone else was up, too!' She screamed inside of her mind while walking over at the stairs, standing there to see if she heard any movement. Nothing. With an eye roll, she went back towards the kitchen, throwing away her finished product then grabbing a bottle of orange juice, sitting on the counter again and taking a sip from it.

Ashleigh wandered to herself what everyone was going to do today because she seriously felt like they needed to get out of the house. She was going to ask the group later that day what they wanted to do to see if their ideas are good enough. If not, Ashleigh might just have to propose something herself.

Location: One of the many guest bedrooms -> Bathroom -> Kitchen

Randy was awake, unfortunately for him. Probably because he was still a bit jet-lagged. Maybe he was still on Eastern time. He doesn't really know how it all works though. Time was such a weird concept. The beach house was really quiet, but the sun was already up. He wondered what time it was. But where did he put his phone again? "Ugh... I'll look for it later," he grumbled to himself as he peeled himself off the bed. He rubbed his tired eyes and let them adjust to the sun light.

He walked half-blindly towards his suitcase as he was too lazy and tired to unpack even though it has already been a week, and pulled out a now-wrinkly white shirt and basketball shorts. He just needed to put something on to walk around in the house. He then made his way to the bathroom; his eye sight has finally fully returned to him. He found his tooth brush and tooth paste which he left after using them the night before at the sink. He did all of his basic morning routine which included brushing his teeth and using all of his important facial products. Once he was finally done, a process that must have taken at least half an hour, he wandered around the familiar beach house.

He didn't want to wake anyone up, so he was sure to walk as quietly as he could. When he reached the kitchen, he was surprised to see one of his friends was already awake. "Ash? What are you doing up so early?" he asked. "Then again, I'm up too..."

He helped himself to an apple that was kept cool in the fridge. After he took a bite, he smiled with a mischievous gleam in his eyes. "Since we're the only ones up right now," he mused. "We should totally prank the rest of the group! It'd be a lot of fun! How about we switch the sugar with the salt. Haha, that's always a classic."

He took a seat by the counter and was rocking back and forth in the chair. But he suddenly lost his balance and fell over, hitting the floor rather hard. There was a loud bang. Oops, that might have waken people up. Unless they were heavy sleepers.

"Ow....." Randy groaned, rubbing his bruised head. But it was only for a moment before he started cracking up. "I'm okay! Guess I gotta be more careful. Even chairs can be dangerous! Hahaha!" He remained on the ground and didn't even bother to stand back up.

"GET YOUR LAZY BUTT UP! GET YOUR LAZY BUTT UP!" A cranky elderly voice screamed causing Zahra's crimson silk bonnet to pop up from under the sheets. Her eyes squinting at the iPhone 6 laying on her night stand, text displayed on it's screen reading '3rd Alarm'. "Well ain't that a bitch?" She mumbled half-asleep, she extended her arm from the blanket to check her notifications and the time. Her brightness wasn't too high because she always lowers it before she goes to bed, isn't she smart? She grumbled watching the time tick over to seven in the morning,"At least now I have more time to do awesome things." Cheering to herself.

She turned off her phone and used both of her hands to push her up onto her knees. Sitting on her knees she couldn't help but want to collapse back on her pillows. She ignored the temptation and turned to the edge of her bed letting her feet dangle until dropping to the ground. Now, movement. Zay's steps were sluggish and slow as she walked over to the bathroom. Maybe hours after she finally made it inside the bathroom and the first thing she did was stare into the mirror. She widened her eyes and smiled vibrantly, "Now, you and me both know we're going to have a great day today. Nothing will get in our way of being the best we can be, and having fun doing it. You're the most brilliant, marvelous, GORGEOUS creation. Act like it.". Her morning pep talks are very important and uplifting, however it's very embarrassing when someone hears her.

Doing the usual morning routine- shower, brush teeth, face creams, etc. -she sang a tune she had stuck in her head, she really has to write it down sometime. Removing her bonnet she unleashed her crazy curls and blew one out of her face, "This...won't be easy." She sighed. She used shea butter to turn this hazard into pigtail braids, simple yet stylish. She exited the bathroom dancing and mumbling the tune, trying to include lyrics. Shimming over to her phone she snatched it up and unlocked it to her home screen, featuring a background of a drawing one of her devoted fans drew her, a smile formed on her face. Opening up her Soundcloud music app she played 'Dibby Dibby Sound Blende remix' turning the volume up to maximum, the others should be used to this. She deals with everyone else's odd morning routines, they can tolerate hers. She glided over to her wardrobe and opened the two stunningly designed carved wooden doors, courtesy of the beach house. She shoved clothing around after having their separate brief inspection, "Nope I already wore this yesterday. Don't want to wear this color today. This is just ugly. Where did this even come from...?". Finally removing a v-neck bodysuit with floral designs, a pair of high-waisted light wash shorts and lace-up sandals with subtle heels. Just something simple and light.

In the middle of changing a strong bang came from downstairs. "Oh God...", she quickly grabbed her phone charger from inside a drawer and her black cross body Coach bag from the chair next to her bed. Closing the door to her room she made her way to the kitchen, that noise caught her attention and she's craving waffles. She leaped off the last step and skipped over to the kitchen noticing Ashleigh sitting on the counter and Randall on the ground. "Well I can see where the noise came from." She laughed, she was already a ray of sunshine. Walking over to the two she said good morning with a smile then opened up the refrigerator. She rummaged around searching for the waffles she stuck inside for her consumption only, "Hey if someone ate the last of MY waffles and y'all know who it was. You should tell me.".

Sayuri yawns as she walks out of her room in red and white silk pajama pants and a grey tank top with a Red symbol on the chest. Her hair was a mess considering she'd just gotten up and hadn't even showered yet. Them moment she'd woken up the morning yelled at her for a lazy one. It was summer after all and she didn't have any matches for the next several days. Unfortunately she still had a local match no matter how she'd altered her schedule but one fight wasn't gonna ruin her time here this summer. Being here brought good memories of her childhood back that she wouldn't give up for anything. Her week had been fairly relaxed not doing much but catching up with everyone, especially Jer as they were extremely close and had a hard time keeping in touch. Smiling as she thinks about the rest of the summer she pulls out her phone to check her messages as she makes her way down to the kitchen.

There wasn't anything of importance just a couple messages from her manager and her coach asking her how things were and if she had anything planned. She sent a couple texts back letting them know she was taking it easy today. She had practically vanished the day before spending the whole day training. While it wasn't anything strenuous she was still tired and ready to relax. After sending the replies she yawned again as she check her social media and E-mail really quickly finding nothing of interest except a couple anime related announcements that had her excited about a couple shows she was looking forward to. Already the day was turning out exceptionally well. Before slipping her phone back into her pocket she shoots a quick good morning text to her girlfriend knowing she probably wouldn't get a response for another couple hours.

Reaching the bottom of the stairs she heard a crash from the kitchen and saw Zahra hurry in. She arrived to see Randall cracking up on the floor saying something about chairs being dangerous and Zahra in the freezer digging for her waffles and asking if anyone ate them. Ash was also in the room drinking a glass of orange juice.

Rolling her eyes she walks over to the fridge nodding to Ash as she passes and pulls out a chocolate milk single, "Maybe an alien just wanted to mess with ya Randy and I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who could eat your waffles and come out unharmed Zahra," she turns around and smiles at everyone, "Jokes aside how'd you guys sleep last night?"

Buried beneath an impressive amount of warmth and comfort, Jer D'Cahors swaddled himself within the depths of his bedding. Sheets were knotted; twisted and elaborately corded over his limbs dangling hazardously in queer angles off the mattress and his crown somewhere still smothered beneath a pillow, or two - three by the one he had borrowed from Sayuri's room the night before - despite the encroaching dawn hours. His figure made no impression to move and his peacefully eclipsed mutterings of dream-like awareness were blissfully ignorant, it was his ritual to stay cocooned until noon, usually disturbed by the exasperated endeavors of family, his associates or even a student or two fumbling lamely for their tutor. It had made Jer to become cloaked in infamy and a whispering inquiry of a potential laziness, but the truths were all hidden under deliberate sabotage and labeled a taboo subject and secret. Besides, his reputation was founded on his genius and prodigious bound music, rather than the hours he kept within sleep. A man of his repute could afford hours of luxury, or so was his proffered excuse. If only the factual remains were so light hearted.

He squirmed, bunching fabric within his spindly gestures and glared from within his sanctuary as the sounds of shuffling, footfalls and voices carried through the halls, accompanied by music and a vocal screech that made his lips pull into a scowl. His arm struck out from his comforts and fumbled briefly for his mobile carefully plugged and laid within reach, courtesy of Sayuri he mused, he really owed that girl more than his lame quips and teasing, often hinting towards his ragged heart left in shambles when she clearly sported favour for the fairer dames. Not that he, Jer, could blame the ebonette. His thoughts digressed, his musings and spooling threads of coherent reasoning fogged like glass and hued grey from his sluggishness. He was the farthest ping away from being a morning aficionado, his eternal glower testimony to that fact as he carefully eyed his phone, thumb rapidly scrolling through the contents. Messages from his mother, her scathing reprimands and reminders to "attend such an affair civilly" palpable even through text, and a series of erratic missives from Piper, her cryptic displeasure translated through photographs of her newest wardrobe series. All scantily clad and imaginative.

"Well," he carefully filed them for later. "Sayuri might like these anyways."

Jer aggressively tossed the covers from his body and worked his legs free from the serpentine twine of his sheets before retreating to the lavatory, scrubbing elongated fingers over his eyes and the prickle of facial hair before sweeping them back through his tresses erratically displayed. He slept just he played, all a bundle of chaos and aggression. Most of everyone would be rising early and intended for their day, and he grudgingly relinquished to the fact that, with them around, sleeping in would be nigh impossible. By sheer noise and clamour or by coming to fetch him from his slumber, he dreaded both options entirely despite all humour he found by the latter. He'd have to try that out later. As it was, Jer studied his expressionless visage before adhering to his typical morning routines, tending to his appearance with a touch of hubris and vain inclinations - the shower doing little to rouse him completely. Jer craved his addictions and habits, the rituals lacking their usual aplomb until he had smoke in his lungs and caffeine pooling in his blood.

He dressed casually, done up by the contents of his wardrobe and all within varying shades of monochromatic finesse, and settled for an ivory tee-short with nondescript black lettering fashioned over the bust. The loose sleeves were rolled once to expose the ink scrawled over his biceps, the airy material of the blouse complemented to his lithe physique and finished with ebony denim finishing his nether half. After a week of relaxation, catching up in conversations and the usual flop of what they had been occupied with, Jer had figured visits into town, the beach and spontaneous explorations were in order. He was not a man meant to be idle, as hollow moments were the bane of his artistry, compelling his anxiety to hyperactivity and there was no piano within the beach house to sate him - he had checked and this was not his own, otherwise there would have been a studio - and his binders of sheet music were tucked away and hidden from him, again by Sayuri, so that he could actually relax. With those purposes within mind, intent to approach the others with various ideas, he left his room and descended the stairs, following the sound of voices, laughter and palmed his still damp hair away from his eyes as he entered the kitchen.

Jer halted immediately on seeing Ash perched on the counter top, her visual appeal fresh and alluring, a stark opposite to Jer's lackluster debut, but she was a morning person, a femme designated for the bright catches of sunlight, he shouldn't have been surprised. He almost felt guilt sire up within his throat, his eyes adverting carefully, the last week he had avoided her, busying himself with catching up with the others and only had greeted her with smiles and brief embraces. He had missed her, of course, but their past was intertwined with a tension Jer still felt to this day, it was difficult to dismiss and even more difficult to evaluate. His eyes fell down to Randy and his lips arched into the beginnings of smirk, no better a distraction within sight.

"Only an hour or two in the day and you're already on your ass, way to go Pretty Boy," he teased, easily stepping over the actor and passed the quartet, his quip of a smile still within place as he busied his hands with preparing coffee, easily pouring the grounds and expertly operating the machine with practiced ease. It was a chrome finish of a model, the kind only purchased with generous dollars and easy enough to execute, but it was a far cry from the usual beverages Jer purchased at eight a cup back home in the company of his parents. He glanced sidelong to Zahra, her sunshine radiance amplified by her voice and usual candor, earning a low chuckle from the pianist. He was not even up by the time they usually consumed breakfast and waffles were definitely not on his choice of palette. Jer treated himself to a weighted dose of caffeine, his mug of choice that morning packed with sugars, creamers and copious amounts of enhancers that would treat him to a much-desired boost of energy. His sigh was loud, exaggerated, edging off into a groan of bliss as the searing liquid slid down his throat.

"Okay, now I'm ready for the day," Jer laughed, stepping beside Sayuri, his head coming to rest on her slender shoulder as a motion of greeting, his hands and mouth busily embracing the lip of his mug once more. "I slept.. I think, like Hell. I don't know, can't remember when I passed out." He spoke aloud, eyes peering heavenward. "I would have slept longer but you lot are so damn noisy, I don't get how seven in the morning is sane and reasonable to you. It's Summer after all!" He laughed, good humour lacing his teasing endeavors thick with his timbre.

Location; Outdoors โ†’ The Great Indoors
Interacting With; Those Awake

By all accounts the sunrise was something beautiful to behold, topped only by the finality and romance of a sunset; yet for all the stories and ideals attributed to the sunrise, Ellie saw nothing wonderful about them. A sunrise was just another 'thing' that happened; it meant nothing other than the fact that another day had begun while on the other side of the planet the day was ending. No romance. No beauty. Nothing. The magic of sunrises vanished after multiple weeks of waking up while most people were sound asleep, save those that were out slowly killing themselves physically and mentally by binge drinking their pains away.

Today's sunrise was no different. Ellie Duke had risen before the sun did and with it before the others in the house; she was still operating on 'call time' which had the side effect of having her up before the crack of dawn. She wasn't working on set right now but that didn't stop her body from acting like she was. Being awake so early did come with certain benefits, top among them being alone time to think. Thinking was something she had to do a lot of recently with a simple thought taking up most of her head.

'Why am I even here?'

Here, of course, meant the house that she and several others were currently residing in. It was no secret to anyone that the people inside the house were not exactly leaping for joy at the idea of being around Ellie, and Ellie wasn't making any effort to act like she was excited to be there. Honestly, it's as if the bunch of them act like they're better people because the only things people hear about them is who they're hooking up with. Ellie had a reputation and it seemed that reputation was in the heads of the supposed bunch of associates, even if her thoughts towards them were on the neutral side. What did she care about the musicians or the whatevers unless they got it in their small heads that they could hang on her court? Why then should they, in turn, care about what she did? Who was the one that was going to the ceremonies and having their name read in the nominee list? So let the housemates cry their opinions. No one here had any right to judge.

Ellie's time in the house thus far hadn't been a bunch of fun and games, but rather an exercise in swimming through an ocean of supposed professionals and their carry on baggage. She had her own, of course, but then she wasn't the one trying to lie behind smiles. It was these early morning moments that Ellie found most enjoyable. No one awake. No one around to start trouble or roll their eyes. Just her, the quiet, and the newspaper. How many of their kind flocked immediately to the entertainment section or the gossip publications despite both being nothing more than puff pieces? And yet Ellie was the one with the 'ego'. How'd that work?

Ellie only cared about the sports section and used this break before dawn to catch herself up on the games she had missed. Detroit had embarrassed her team, which hurt to read, but not as much as it hurt to know that she might be unable to actually attend a game to support them all summer. As she flipped through the sports section, she nibbled on what appeared to be waffles but were unlike any that she had tasted. In that they were subpar in comparison to her own recipe. After getting halfway through one, Ellie shook her head and discarded the rest.

By this time the sun had risen, or at least was rising, and the sounds of others stirring about was carrying through the silence. Ellie heard the familiar chime of the morning news and not long after that a falling thud. A sigh brought Ellie out of the deck chair and inside the dining room proper.

"What does summer have to do with waking up?" Ellie announced her presence with a question and pursed lips towards the pianist, "What, does the world of piano playing only start after noon?" Ellie crossed over towards the fridge to grab a gallon of milk and a glass from the cupboard. "You'd never last in a field that mattered."

Ellie downed half the glass of milk in one go, wasting no time in topping the beverage off before going in for a second helping. "Oh, those were your waffles?" Ellie's eyes turned to Zahra for the briefest of moments, "Those are gone. I couldn't stand to see substandard food staining this house." There was no hint of apology in her voice; in Ellie's eyes she had done Zahra a favor. Somehow she doubted others would see it that way, but then so few understood her methods anyway. Amateurs, the lot of them.

Addie concentrated on keeping her breathing steady as she jogged down the beach, she loved to wake up early to go for runs as the sun was rising. The temperature was cooler than if she would have opted to take an afternoon run and hopefully the group would do something fun together this afternoon. She ran the length of the beach and then circled back. As she came to a stop in front of the back patio of the beach house she sat down in the sand and took her shoes and socks of and put her toes in the sand. Addison leaned back and took in the glory of the sunrise. She checked her watch it was already 7am, she knew that Ashleigh would be u by now. The only person that was up when she went for her run was Ellie but Addie was not in the mood for a snide remark before her morning coffee.

Addison sighed and straightened up, this first week had gone by fast. It could have something to do with her being jet lagged for most of it. She had come straight from the airport after a 14 hour flight from Thailand where she had done a job for H&M and their swimsuit line. So she has spent the week trying to stay awake while catching up with her friends. Hopefully they didnโ€™t take her drowsiness for disinterest, she really did find it interesting to learn what her friends had gotten up to since she saw them last because some of them she almost never saw in her day to day life. Some more than others of course Ashleigh she saw every other day, and of course there was Blondie who she had been seeing lot of recently since they have been working on a campaign for Guess Jeans. But seeing him shirtless as much as she had in the last couple of weeks had taking its toll on Addisonโ€™s psyche and her feelings for him is making things awkward for her at the shoots.

She shook her head to try to clear it. On top of that she still had to worry about the radio silence from her brother. It had been about 3 weeks since she last heard from him. Her parents had long since given up and already cut him off but Addison couldnโ€™t let go, it was her brother and the only one she has. She took out her phone to check but it was in vain because she had no new messages from him. She decided to try to message him once again.

โ€œHey big brother! You alive? Please let me know if you are dead! I will pay for you to come out here just let me know, ok?โ€
Addsion

Her fingers drummed on the screen of her phone and then with a little too much force she smashed send, sending her phone tumbling down in the sand. Addie groaned and snatched it up shaking it as she stood up. She decided it was time to go back in to the house. When she stepped in from the patio she was greeted with a confusing sight. A large portion of the group was already up and uncharacteristically noisy. Not surprisingly Randy was on the floor after falling from his chair no doubt. Addison smiled down at him with genuine concern โ€œYou alright sweetie?โ€ she said as she helped him up.

She walked over to the fridge where Zay was rummaging for her missing waffles and took out an yoghurt and rolled her eyes comically at Zahra as Ellie casually mentioned that she had thrown out someone elseโ€™s food. โ€œNice one Ellie, maybe itโ€™s your cooking thatโ€™s substandard and not Zโ€™s groceries!โ€ She winked at her and popped a spoon full of yoghurt in to her mouth. She turned towards Ashleigh who was sitting on top of the counter next to her โ€œAsh again remember to thank your parents for letting us stay over the summer again.โ€

The chilly breath that morning brought every day lingered in the air as Andrew laid underneath his blanket hiding his frame as it laid across the bed and him. With the pillow missing from the head of the bed and instead was being cuddled by the sleeping dragon which was Andrew, who was still stuck in his deep slumber after pressing the 'snooze' button one too many times. Until the point of the smell of coffee began filling his room, which was the universal signal to get the up. The smell pulling him up from the nice clouds of dreamland and dragging him into reality. The shifting of the sheets was the awakening of the slumbering beast as Andrew kicked the blanket off himself, sliding the soft thing to the ground as he stretched. Cracking his back and doing a little stretching in the bed before he looked to the corner of the room. "Oh yeah..." He said sheepishly to himself as the coffee machine was running for a while it seems, as the pitcher was filled with coffee and a clean mug on the dresser. Remembering that he was supposed to go running this morning with coffee to motivate himself but yeah... that never happened hence the coffee machine being full and him still in bed.

Groaning a little bit as he got up from the bed, he picked up the cup as he poured the black liquid into the container as he took a sip, the bitter taste instantly hitting him along with the effect of the caffeine seeming to happen instantly. Glancing into the mirror, his bare skin showed with the only exception being his black sports shorts on and not to far away was a discarded shirt and swimming shorts from the night before as the whole entire week has gone by in a blast. With most of his time before going to bed was taking a dip in the freezing ocean before putting himself in bed. Stacked on top of the fact that he woke up every other day to go on a run to make sure his body continue to run smoothly, it was a fun way to enjoy the vacation while being healthy at the same time. Of course, he always made sure that they didn't interfere with catching up with everyone as exercise could be pushed back for later while the time spent with his friends could not. Taking another sip of the coffee in his hand before refilling it once more, he stared into the black abyss of the liquid for a little bit with his mind blank for a few moments.

Today, however, was finally the day which his laziness got the better of him as he slept in instead and now it was 7 AM which his clock displayed from the nightstand. Sighing a little bit, he pulled a shirt over himself from the closet as he left his room with the cup of coffee in his hand. Pausing right after he step outside his room, he gave a small sigh as he looked at his once again empty cup before doing a u-turn and grabbing the pitcher of coffee and leaving it in his hands. Refilling his cup with the bitter drink as he entered the other parts of the house, it must have been his acute tunnel vision working right now as he stopped suddenly when he noticed Randal on the floor and looked around. Realizing everyone else was more or less up at this unsightly hour of morning as he understood why Ellie and Addison would be up but the rest of the group... Ehhh whatever. "Don't mind me Randall, just gonna step over you..." Andrew said to the other as his legs easily lunged over him who was laying on the floor and continued his path into the kitchen. Finally stopping once he got to the counter as he leaned against it, with his elbows pressing against the surface as he listened into the morning talk.

"I might of taken a waffle or two out of the stack when I was making coffee, but I guess that must mean that Ellie threw them out after I fell asleep again. Sorry, Zahra but I was too lazy to make something from scratch." He said with a mischevious grin, remembering himself eating the top of the stack while he hopelessly saved the rest for Z which would never be eaten. Looking at the pitcher in his hand and the other already in the kitchen, he looked at everyone else before offering it with a shrug as there was now two sources of coffee to be drunk from "I did however, make some extra coffee made if you guys want any. The creamer I believe is in the fridge if you guys don't like it straight up black" He said nonchalantly before pouring himself another cup. "Anyway, I slept fine by the way Sayuri and again Ash thanks for the great spot near the ocean, it's great!" He said with a smile as he sat the pot of coffee on the counter. Taking this moment to look out the window to admire of gleaming water as the morning sun began to bounce on top of the reflective surface of the ocean. If he only hadn't left his phone in his room, this would have been a great picture...

The silence and being the only one up was killing her. She wanted to go up to everyone's room and bang pots and pans together to wake everyone up. She was bored and she hated being bored. Ashleigh started looking around for pots and pans but then she heard footsteps approaching. She quickly jumped back up on the counter and started sipping her orange juice again. It was Randall. Someone she had liked a long time ago but a few of the feelings still remained. They tried dating but then again, it wasn't for them at the time.

"I always wake up early. Just use to it." Ashleigh said while shrugging her shoulders then looking at him while shaking her head. "Randall, that prank is so old school though." She muttered then shook her head, watching him rock back and forth in a chair that really wasn't made for that but then it happened. Randall fell backwards in the chair. Ashleigh jumped at the sounded of the bang and didn't know whether to laugh or check up on him. "Oh, my. Are you alright, Randy?" She asked from the counter then looked up and saw Zahra enter the kitchen now. She didn't even concern by the fact that Randall was on the ground and she even laughed.

Ashleigh rolled her eyes at Zahra's comment about her waffles then looked at her. "It wasn't me and I don't know who did it." She responded while taking another sip from her juice and seen Sayuri enter next. Hearing her question, Ashleigh made a slight face. "Eh, I slept alright. Could've been better though." She had responded. "How about you, Sayuri?"

She waited a response from her then looked and saw Jer entering the kitchen now. Ashleigh straightened up and ran her fingers through her hair, letting the locks bounce back onto her shoulders. Jer was someone she adored within the group, liked him a lot, too. "Morning, Jer." Ashleigh said while offering him a small, flirty wave of her hand.

She was happy that the whole gang was getting back to the infamous beach house again this summer and wouldn't want to be anywhere else but there. Well, that was until Ellie walked in. Ashleigh groaned to herself with an eye roll. Not that she hated her but her attitude was just one that Ashleigh couldn't stand. And there it was, usual Ellie commenting bluntly. Honestly, even though she hated her attitude, at times, her last comment made Ashleigh chuckle slightly while looking at Zahra, awaiting her reaction.

Ashleigh heard a genuine voice of concern and finally, someone other than herself was concern about Randall being on the floor. Ashleigh looked at Addison with a smile then looked at her, too, nodding her head towards her. "I sure will, Addy. How have you been, hun?" She asked her while looking at her, really wanting to catch up with her.

When Andrew entered the room now, he stepped over Randall and she couldn't help but laugh since he sort of announced it, too. Ashleigh looked over at him and nodded her head. "Well, thanks goes to my parents but you're welcome." She said while jumping off of the counter now, walking past every single one of them. "It's so nice to have the whole gang here again, isn't it?" She had said while popping her lips and snapping her fingers in the air.

"Okay. So, what should we do first? And let me honestly say that I think that she would be together and not separate. Remember what happened last time." She offered towards the group then gasped. "Should we go and let Kalvo know that we're here again and possibly get some free lunch? Or we could go and see Marla and get in some Pilates session before lunch?" Ashleigh suggested while waiting for everyone to respond, bouncing on the balls of her feet now.

Mary wasn't one to sleep in, per se, but she most definitely wasn't an early riser. Today, however, she had no choice but to wake early. The sound of a heavy riff pierced the silence of her room from her phone, seated next to her pillow on her bed. Mary awoke abruptly, flailing slightly as she sleepily attempted to grasp her mobile in an uncoordinated and not-yet-half-awaken fashion that was anything but glamourous. Eventually, after a few incidents of the phone slipping a few centimetres in another direction as she attempted to grasp it, and a multitude of groans she finally caught it. Miraculously the caller hadn't given up yet. Not noting the caller ID she, somehow, successfully answers the call. "Hello?" she mumbles into the phone, still half-asleep.
"Did I awaken sleeping beauty?" Chuckles the caller from the other end of the line in a natural British accent. Mary found the accent comforting after being surrounded by Americans all week, not that she had a problem with Americans. Their accents, although not amazing, were fine but the little piece of home was a nice surprise. What was more comforting, however, was the owner of that voice. Johnathon, her fiance. "I think that earns me a kiss when you get back! What time is it there sweetheart?" Mary scrambles to check the time on her phone.
"About a quarter to seven," she yawns into the phone.
"The perfect time to rise and shine then!" Johnathon claims with a chuckle. From there the couple engage in conversation as they recount their last week and throw joking insults, Mary coming to be fully awake throughout the conversation. Eventually the couple say their goodbyes and hang up. Mary flings her arms out, taking advantage of the space in her large bed and gives a sigh. It was too late, and she was too awake, to try and fall asleep again. Besides, she could hear faint, distant chatter downstairs, others were obviously up and readying themselves for the day so it was probably time Mary joined in.

Feeling rather chipper from her early morning conversation, even if it involved an early wake up, Mary found the will to get off her lazy backside and opened the curtains. Sunlight spilled into the room in an instant seeming to heat the already warm room in no time at all. She gave a slight sigh, thanking God for the direction the day had taken already in hopes it was a good sign that the day would go just as successfully as it seems it would, a normal early morning ritual for the young Brit. Eventually she gave a yawn, rolling her shoulders, her eyes catching the glint of the blacked out screen. A touch of the mousepad followed by the right combination would lead you a music scoring app. Even on holiday Mary couldn't escape her job, not that she minded, Mary loved her job (not that she would call it a job really) not for the admirers or money but for the feeling music put in her, the feeling she got when she played for others. She shook her head slightly, mentally scolding herself, she was meant to be on a holiday, not working!

More faint chatter could be heard from the lower storey as more woke up. Mary considered getting changed before meeting them downstairs but what was the point? She was going to have a shower soon anyway, she was sure the others could deal with her in her pajamas anyway, not that what she everything wore to bed was all that pajama-y anyway. So she soon treaded down the stairs barefoot in her short cotton shorts and a blue tank top which revealed a section of both sides of her tattoo. Quite quickly she caught on to the conversation, Ashleigh commenting on how nice it was for the gang to be together once more. Standing at the entrance into the kitchen, and most probably unnoticed, Mary gave a simple bob of her head before commenting on the matter.
"It's nice to see you all again,". She says before collecting a mug, placing it on the counter and taking the milk from next to Ellie. From there she proceeds to make herself a coffee, letting Ashleigh continue talking. "Count me out of pilates, please! Too calm for a drummer," she jokes with a slight chuckle before continuing, "Seriously though, I'm not getting forced into another pilates session, I reckon I'm not fully recovered from that time my fiancรฉ's sister forced me to go, and that was almost a year ago!"

Zahra sighed realizing that her waffles were most certainly gone. Why couldn't she have anything nice in this place? Does she really have to buy a miniature refrigerator just so she can enjoy her organic waffles? In spite of her minor annoyance she began to look for something else to eat, but these people barely go out to buy anything but yogurt, juice, and coffee. We need to go food shopping,I miss homemade food, she looked up at Sayuri and chuckled lightly, "What do you mean? I wouldn't hurt a soul.". She moved her attention to Jer as he laid on Sayuri's shoulder, "Good morning Jer, always funny seeing you in ecstasy after one sip of coffee," She giggled. Zahra wasn't that big of a fan of coffee really, she's a devoted tea fan. "And I slept well, I chatted with my grandma, she's still on bed rest but she feels better every day! It was nice speaking to her again." Zahra hasn't had much time to speak to any of her family members, her career always gets in the way and she's exhausted at the end of the day. Receiving news about her grandma leaving the hospital and being put on bed rest she knew she had to speak to her. Last night she fell asleep delighted and glad because she got to converse with one of her role models.

She took her head completely out of the refrigerator, "Maybe I can make hash browns?" She spoke to herself in a whisper so the others couldn't hear. In her thoughts she overheard Ellie's voice and groaned, Lord help me. Though she didn't hate her and really wanted to befriend her even find the good in that witches body, she makes it really hard to do so. Her eyebrow twitched when Ellie spoke to her but she only cared about two words "Waffles... Gone...", she gaped her mouth to retort. Her savior, Addison strolled over to the refrigerator and said her comeback causing Zay to chuckle and she returned her wink, what a pal. "You didn't even have to worry about my waffles staining the house. The second you walked in here it became stained, your sewage black aura ruined this houses beauty." Zay countered, she knew Ellie would just smirk at this remark not taking it to mind. The thought pissed Zahra off even more. She frowned subtly, Why am I feeling bad for saying that?, she knows why it's because she wants to be the bigger person and bickering wasn't the way to go. Still being the bigger person is boring most times and it's no fun. Also she threw away HER food!

Zay calmed herself by breathing smoothly, Maybe...talking to her would be good..? Yeah, I'll try to talk to her and we'll at least tolerate each other. For the time being. Zahra always feels communication is the best way to solve a problem. Usually her outcomes come out as successful, the other times it can either make matters worse or change nothing. But hey, better than doing nothing right?

Snatching up a strawberry yogurt from the fridge she caught Andrew's comment, "You little bug," she joked "They're gone anyhow so it doesn't matter, but I'll remember that." She tittered mischievously. She was surprisingly nearly over the fact someone threw away food she bought with her own money. She was thinking about revenge like throwing Ellie's clothes into the water, but being seen as the bigger person is much better than getting revenge. Wouldn't her facial expression be absolutely hilarious though?

Zahra walked over to the plastic spoons box which was placed next to Allison and grabbed a spoon with her thumb and pointer finger. She dipped her spoon into the container and mumbled "Now I have to eat this stupid yogurt because she threw away my waffles because she's stupid." Sounding exactly like a child, she has no idea how people take her seriously. After sticking the yogurt filled spoon into her mouth her eyes enlarged, "No wonder you guys eat this all the time!" She beamed after swallowing, totally brightening her mood. It's probably because she is hungry but this strawberry yogurt tastes like the most delectable, nutritious food she's ever eaten. Yeah she's just really hungry, Waffles would've made this much better.... She began to mope, OH ZAHRA SHUT UP ABOUT THE DAMN WAFFLES! YOU CAN BUY MORE! THEY WEREN'T EVEN THE GOOD ONES! Back to yelling at herself, great. At least her conscious is right this time and she quit moping popping her spoon back into her mouth a 'mmm' escaping her mouth.

She paused while eating and snickered at Ashleigh, "Yeah I'm enjoying myself. Love catching up with some old friends." She responded. She had the urge to turn to Ellie and say something witty and rude but she couldn't pull herself to do it. It's sad though to see people you used to hang out with every summer, it kinda makes Zahra want to cry. Everyone had their own thing going and it's a miracle they could move time into their hectic schedules for this. Zahra actually started to tear up, she's glad she could keep in touch with a few of them. Wiping her eyes quickly hoping no one would notice she continued to consume her yogurt, sniffling softly. She really needs to pay closer attention to people, missing most of what Ash said, "Ooh Pilates is always a good activity. I was thinking about swimming today but I can do that later. So I vote for Pilates!". Zay laughed at Mary and covered her mouth with her hand so no yogurt would fly out, "Good morning Mary, glad you're here!".

Randy gratefully took Addie's hand and let her pull him off the floor. "Thanks Addie," he said with a slight chuckle. At least someone here was concerned about him. "Gee, thanks for worrying about me, everyone. I feel so loved." Still, he could not help but laugh along with them as they teased him. Admittedly, it was pretty funny.

He walked up behind Ashleigh, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder and whispered softly in her ear so no one else could hear him. "Oops, I guess we'll have to discuss our prank later."

He then went to go pick up his apple that had dropped on the floor with him and took another bite. The un-bitten part touched the floor so it was probably okay? Oh well, the floor was pretty spotless anyways thanks to the amazing cleaning staff. If anyone gave him a weird look for eating the apple, he ignored it. When he finished it, he threw the core away into the trash can.

The kitchen was filling up as it seemed one by one his friends were waking up. They weren't all in a good mood it seemed. Jer was not a morning person and Zay seemed pretty upset about her waffles that apparently Ellie threw out. He did not understand her. It was just waffles. They seemed perfectly fine to him. It was such a waste to just throw them out. But he didn't try to think about Ellie and her attitude too much. It'd make their whole 'friendship' thing harder to maintain. Not that Ellie seemed to care.

Not wanting to get involved with the whole waffle incident, he decided to accept Andrew's offer and grabbed some coffee. "Thanks for the coffee, man," he said before taking a sip. It wasn't bad at all. He took another big sip.

While the others were talking about what they wanted to do for the day, Randy chimed in, "Let's go swimming!" They were at a beach house after all. He had been going swimming almost every day since he arrived and still hadn't had enough. "Or better yet, let's catch some waves," he added. Regardless of what everyone else wanted to do, he was probably going to go surfing anyways. They had the entire summer together; they had plenty of time to catch up. And he wasn't going to spend his time doing pilates of all things. He was sure some of the gang shared his sentiments.

Randy was still hungry, and searched the fridge for more food. He wasn't having any more luck than Zay. Yogurt, yogurt, and more yogurt. What does a man have to do to get some meat around here? He turned back to the group and said, "I'm going on a breakfast burrito run. What does everyone want and who's coming with me?" Hopefully someone will volunteer. Worse comes to worse, he'll have to drag one of them. It was no fun going on burrito runs alone.

Ashleigh's eyes scanned towards Mary as she finally entered and spoke. Seemed like now the whole gang was here and again, she loved it. After hearing her comment about it being nice to see everyone again, her eyes continued to stare towards her as she voted for no Pilates. With an eye roll, Ashleigh scoffed then looked at her. "Come on, it's the summer. You're not the drumming drummer this summer, are you?" She questioned towards Mary then looked at Zahra.

"Well, maybe we could get a good swim session in before Pilates." She had recommended while walking over and standing behind Jer, her hands clasping the back on his chair as she looked at Zahra. "But we're definitely doing Pilates today, girl." She smiled then bumped her hip with hers. Ashleigh eyed everyone else, waiting for them to speak up about today's events and really wanted to know what everyone thought about doing today.

"Hello." Ashleigh waved her hand. "Earth to everyone!" She screamed a little then looked at Randall as he began speaking. "I'd love to swim though surfing is not my forte. Nope. I tried it once and fell on my ass." She stated while listening to him speak again. "Oh, I'll go with. Besides, we need groceries for the second week barbecue." Ashleigh said while exiting the kitchen and running up the stairs for a moment. She tied her hair up into a high ponytail, fixed her clothing a little bit before giving herself a nod of approval in the mirror then waltzing out of the room and back into the kitchen.

"Okay, ready. But you're driving, right?" She asked Randall while bouncing on the balls of her feet again.
