Got a post up, as per usual my character has drifted towards The Smiths rather than the previous folk theme I was trying to set haha.

The first part is just sort of character development, it's not really relevant to the plot past trying to establish a personality in writing for him.

History:

Nothing interesting happened within Charlotte’s life until she was nine years of age. She had just realized her ability when she was sitting in the house and her parents were arguing, which was nothing new to her. Though, she did get a little upset and objects started rising up around her. She was scared and afraid and her parents thought that she was a freak. So, rather trying to find out what or who she really was, they gave her away, which truly devastated her. She grew up in the orphanage until she was eleven years of age, strange happenings usually happened when she was around and no one could explain it. Well, she could but didn’t really want to.

It wasn’t until a few days since she turned eleven that a knock came upon her door and two men entered the premises, wanting to adopt her. She wasn’t reluctant at all. She was really happy – Ecstatic even. Charlotte boldly went with the men and they took her to a facility, where they taught her how to hone her abilities. She even learned how to hone her Telepathy ability, too that didn’t manifest until she was thirteen.

A few years have passed by now and she is now twenty-four years of age and coming back to the place where it all began. Charlotte’s life over the past couple of years have been nothing, in all honesty but she now has full control of her abilities and is happy to help Professor Francis out this year.

Appearance:

Charlotte is a very slender female, with a top heavy frame and little hips. She has pale blue eyes but in certain amount lighting, they can look electric blue. She stands about five foot six inches tall and weighs about one-hundred and sixteen pounds. Charlotte has hazel brown colored hair, which she usually keeps straightened. Her skin complexion is a fair tone of ivory. Charlotte usually wears skirt outfits with heels or she’ll wear a pants suit with flats. But that’s only when she’s around the school and it’s in session, otherwise, she wears halter tops and short shorts with Chuck Taylor’s.

Powers:

Telepathy - The ability to read and sense other people’s thoughts even communicate with them through their mind. With this, she can also control people through their minds and even have a hint of clairvoyance, too. The limitations to her abilities are she may not be able to control her clairvoyance ability because it can happen unexpectedly. Also, it requires a lot of concentration and silence. With her mind control and telepathy, she can only control one person at a time and even read one person mind at a time. With telepathy, she may not be able to control how many thoughts she can hear at once thus making her have migraines or be rendered unconscious.

Telekinesis - The ability to manipulate objects with one’s mind. With this, her limitations are that she can only manipulate objects of certain weight or size. She may not be able to do her telekinesis due to thoughts of fear, distractions and stress. When using her ability for too long, she becomes physically fatigued.

Personality:
Despite her parents giving her away and growing up in the orphanage for about two years, she really never changed her sparkling personality. She is very bright and bubbly towards just about anyone but just don’t piss her off and you’ll be okay. Charlotte is very intelligent on certain matters and will not hesitate to express that in anyway, at all. The only downsize to her personality is that she is sometimes quiet whenever upset or sad – She will not talk to anybody. Charlotte’s not emotional though she takes a few words thrown at her a little too lightly and sometimes wears her heart on her sleeve.

@Hjalti sure you can apply! However, her powers seem too op for my liking as it seems like there is no way to kill her or even injure her. While I understand that her powers are super healing, she needs to have limitations. For instance, super healing or not, if she is shot in the heart, head, or lungs, that should kill her regardless of the healing factor. Another thing is the severed limbs, the time frame at which she heals, and her immunity to poisons. If a limb is severed, then it's gone, it cannot be reattached or grown back. She also heals WAY too quickly, even if that is her powers. I would say that the healing process should be elongated to at least a half hour to an hour for minor injuries, and at least a day for the more serious ones. The same thing for her immunity to poisons. While I'm fine with her being able to process and be immune to the more less fatal poisons like food poisoning, the more fatal ones should still give her some symptoms even if they are minor, until it passes through her body and it gets out of her system one way or another.

Aside from that, her history, appearance, and personality must be filled out. once you fill those out and fix her powers, I'll look at it again to make sure everything checks out.
