We do have room, but do remember it's a formerly holy knight order when making your character.

As for magic, it's a relatively high magic setting. Not everyone has it, but it's definitely there. Requires spells to be used, or can be enchanted on items.

It could be, but he does need some kind of spell to cast it and it probably wouldn't last for more then one or two hits.
