I am going to throw up a character sheet for this soon. I am debating a young radical female knight or a near retirement age male knight, any opinions?

We're rather lacking in experienced representation.

Despite being a schemer, I'm sure Julianna feels sorry for Fanilly deep down inside, having to deal with so many strange 'knights'. I feel like the Iron Rose Knights don't have the best screening system for knighthood. XD

Now the truth had been revealed plain as day to her and many of the Iron Rose Knights, as soon as this mission was over she would make her report back home

Hey, probably something like 3/4 of the people there already knew! :P

Skip screening by being one of the first.

Well its not the Iron Rose Knights that really care one way or the other, its all those nobles back home who will have a hay day with concrete proof of her undeadness. Considering this is a highly religious kingdom, religious people and undead tend to not be on good terms with each other so things will obviously get more dicey.

Immortal people = cool, Undead people = scary

Undead paladin more religious than practically all the nobility = melting brains? Though to be honest, it's really not for political reasons that it's been kept under wraps: if you know she's undead, then you can work out how to actually kill her. An invulnerable reputation is a lot more useful. :P

To be fair I don't think all the knights are that weird, maybe a couple are, Fanilly's upset and confused right now though.

As for the whole undead thing... under the dual church, only mindless or wicked undead are an abomination. Non-inherently-evil or mindlessly violent sapient undead are... well, a lot of people are wary but they're not actually considered as an abomination or anything.

Thought I'd clarify in this situation. ^^;

There are some races that no-one likes for not entirely deserved reasons though.

... Not orcs, orcs deserve every reason.

Well even if they aren't considered an abomination, mostly because they probably feel they can be controlled and reasoned with[the sentient ones anyway], I imagine most people are 'highly' wary about such undead. In any event, having an undead in court that is not like a royal bodyguard or something, will certainly rub a lot of nobles the wrong way. Its one thing to have an undead being used for a specific purpose [and usually mindless] but when they're kinda allowed to their own devices, people are gonna wonder and get paranoid, even if she is the most 'senior' knight in the whole order.

Well its just one 'weapon' the change faction will no doubt use to their advantage when the time comes. In political warfare its often a lot of little things piled up that build the argument one way or another.

Welp, I think I might just write Rolan in as a spectator who was guarding the horses that most knights vaulted from, anyone down for having had their horse injured, killed, hit in the flank and bolted off into the woods, etc?
