"Easy. I may be loud, but I've been paying attention." He muttered. He grinned, satisfied with his knowledge on the Demon Weapons. What if he's put subjects on the test we haven't covered? Nah, he wouldn't do that. If he promises us a Demon Weapon, it's gotta be a fair bet, or else he wouldn't bother trying.

Guren smirked. "This isn't just any test. Whoever stays standing by the end of this will be able to have a chance at getting a demon weapon." He suddenly unsheathed his blade and a very ominous and powerful presence filled the room. It was forceful, making everyone in the room want to fall over except Guren. Most students did fall over.

Jean struggled a bit, but kept himself upright, a determined look on his face. "I promise sir, that I will not disappoint you as a student or soldier. And I'll be the best I can be, and even more." As he finished his mini speech, his posture strengthened, and he stood completely upright, smirking a small bit.

Rai was caught off guard by Guren suddenly reaching for his sword, he was almost knocked off his feet due to the initial surprise. So THIS is what he meant by a test Rai thought to himself. The presence was strong and sudden, but that wasn't enough to take Rai down, at least not yet. "Heh, did you really think I came all this way to give up now? Turns out you underestimated me again Guren!" Rai exclaimed as he gritted his teeth and planted his feet securely, Rai was ready to do ANYTHING to prove that he belonged here, some demon wasn't about to stop him!

For plot reasons and deus ex machina. Eleanor was also in the class listening intently and was very interested in the test Guren had proposed. Eleanor stood from her seat and nods "Bring it Guren, I am ready for anything you throw my way" She smirks as she seemed a bit too cocky

Guren kept his sword out, watchign them. They seemed stronger than the other kids.... He then sheathed his blade and the oppressive feeling left, though the other kids were still unconscious. He grinned disturbingly. "Congrats, Rai, Jean, Eleanor. You pass."

Jean smirked, and nodded to the other students who passed. "So, when do we choose? I'm already dying from the anticipation." He grinned, knowing it was only a matter of time before he could get out there and kill some vampires.

Guren sighed. "Come on, you three." He led the way out to a place underground. "Here is where we keep the Black Demon series of weapons. They are from the same series as mine. The most effective against vampires."

Eleanor rolls her eyes and sighs as she nods listening intently to Guren, even if it was an act that she wanted her true intentions to not be realized. She bows to Guren "Thank you sir"

Guren said, "No worries." He noticed Eleanor's act, he wasn't stupid or young. He knew someone close to her had died that night. But he shrugged it off.

After what felt like forever to Rai the test finally ended, thankfully he managed to pass along with Jean and Eleanor. During the walk down to the chamber holding the weapons Rai was mostly silent, still trying to gather his thoughts after the test. Whatever that thing was, it was brutal, and now I'm about to try and beat a demon on my own?! What have I gotten myself into? Rai thought to himself as they descended. As they came to a stop Rai finally spoke up "So what now, just like that we have access to weapons as powerful as yours? All we have to do is beat the demon inside the weapon and its ours right?" Rai asked, just for confirmations sake. Internally Rai was a little nervous the test did shake him up a bit, whether it was for the sake of his pride or not he wouldn't let anyone else see it.

Guren nodded. "Yes. Once you beat the demon and get it to submit to you the weapon is yours."

"Alright then, sounds pretty straightforward." Rai said as he clapped his hands and rubbed them together. On the inside Rai was both excited and worried, the test was already disorienting. What if this demon was stronger? What if it decided to kill him before he got a chance to prove his strength? He couldn't afford to think about this right now, he had to focus on showing this demon who's boss, for everyone's sake. "Do we just head on in and pick any weapon we want now?"

Eleanor stared at the walls as they walked down the stairs, she didnt say much and also didnt pay much attention to anyone except Guren. She continues down the stairs knowing destiny has finally begun to shine through the clouded sky above the underground staircase

Guren got them to the room and inside, then he sealed it behind them. "Now. Listen up, kids. This can go one of three ways...Either you beat the demon and gain the weapon, you die because they kill you, or you get possessed and I have to kill you. On that note....good luck."

"So, we just pick a weapon?" He walked over to a Calvary sword he could see in the corner, and peered at it. "Very nice. So, when do we start? Also, how do we start it."

Guren replied, "Just grab the weapon and you'll be transported to their world. They'll try to take the form of someone you once loved, so be wary. I don't know what exactly happened that night I found you three and I don't know who close to you has died. But the demons in the weapon you choose WILL take the form of the closest person to you who have died. Usually to ask why you didn't save them, why you just sat there. Be strong and don't let them catch you off guard."

"A bit dramatic eh Guren?" Rai said, trying to alleviate the generally stressful atmosphere. The room was filled with all sorts of weapons, swords, axes, bows there was almost everything that one could imagine in this one room! One weapon in particular caught Rai's attention however, a pair of bladed gauntlets. Rai walked over to take a closer look at them, the actual gauntlets were made of a smooth looking black steel, whilst the blades were jagged and subtly tinted red, or was that blood? Nonetheless Rai felt almost drawn to the gauntlets, they somehow 'felt' like they were the right choice to Rai. "Well, well, well I think I've found my choice" Rai said, grinning he approached the gauntlets.

Rai looked up from the gauntlets for a moment, he looked to his fellow cadets "Hey Jean, Ellie, don't get yourselves killed alright?" Rai said in a joking tone, but there was some genuine concern behind his words that he couldn't manage to hide. He didn't want to lose Ellie, even if she might hate him, she was one of the few people who Rai knew and cared about. Of course he cared about Jean as well, he didn't want to see a great guy who was his friend just suddenly end up dead. Rai swallowed his courage and looked down at the gauntlets once more. All I have to do is beat this demon, that's all I have to do Rai thought to himself, he was honestly trying to calm himself down so he could focus on the task at hand.

Jean grabbed the weapon and got transported to the demon's world, surprised how quick it had been. Suddenly, someone appeared out of nowhere. That person was Aya. "Why did you leave me behind? You did nothing!" She was crying, but Jean stood tall. "You're dead. And guess what? I honestly could care less."
