I used to look pretty good a year ago, was pretty healthy, nothing hurt, my spirits were up and enjoyed being social. But...after Dr. Whitney's experiments..everything started changing...towards a less pleasant version
I started losing weight, a lot, i'm quite skinny right now, stopped growing at 1.65m, my hair used to be caramel color, now it turned into white, well gold-ish white ... i kinda like it to be honest, my skin also turned really pale, i'm like a ghost *slight tired smile*, my eyes are sky-blue, i've always tried dressing nicely, sometimes maybe a bit fancy? some might say, you'll most often see me wearing a white shirt with a black vest on, skinny black jeans and leather black shoes.
I have a simple black dot earring, with a white letter H engraved on it, and one of my hobbies is gathering bracelets, i currently wear 15 on me, 6 on one hand, 6 on the other and 3 on my left ankle, they all have meaning to me, but they are almost always covered by my clothing.
As far as attitude appearance goes, after the experiments, i became a loner, only stay in the presence of animals...let's make that...always stay in the presence of animals, almost never smile, i stare into nothing a lot sometimes even forgetting to blink, i always stand up straight, even when sitting down, i have a bad habit of biting my nails, A LOT.
My name is Lucas Emile Björk, I'm currently 23 years old, orphan. Mother died in a fire, father comited suicide after her death when i was 5. Only family member remaining is my white rat, Milx. After the incident i was placed in an orphanage.
Despite having a depression over my loss, i did my best to integrate, but...the other kids seemed to have a different idea. I was bullied, a lot, i stopped interacting with people, Milx was my only friend, well and Hellen, but she was in the girls sector of the orphanage and we rarely had the occasion to talk, usually when we went to the cafeteria or during some nights when we managed to sneak out and meet under a big oak tree where we hid and talked a lot. I liked her but i was always too afraid to do anything more than that and things stayed like that.
At 8 i was adopted by a family with another 2 children, a 8 y.o boy and a 10 y.o girl, Jessie and Jane were their names. The family also owned 2 big dogs, one for each child. I still had Milx. Their children never liked me tho, neither did their dogs. Long story-short, their kids also bullied me, i was afraid to talk about it, and the kids put the dogs to kill my friend Milx. After that i ran back to the orphanage, this is when i was 9, where i stayed another 7 years, mostly refusing to be adopted. Hellen was adopted in the time that i was in that unpleasant home, never got to hear from her again and couldn't seem to get in touch with her, where ever she was. (GM can integrate her in the story somehow if she ever wishes)
In that time, i dedicated my time to reading, a lot, psychology, especially animal psychology and handling. It was one of the few things i was skilled at, but i was god damn good at it. In that period, i also got myself another rat, also white, Milx the second, yeah...not very creative.
Anyway, at 16, i was bought by a certain doctor for unknown reasons, by Dr. Peter Whitney. Soon, i found the reason why i was bought, why me and other tens of people were bought...for experimenting, for some kinda of...superhuman power..super abilities, but...i can't say it ever really worked, but it did screw around with me and my head, same with the others, i wasn't the worst case, but neither the "best" case.
After 3 years of failed experimenting, Dr. Whitney died from unknown causes, and i, along with others, was put into an insane asylum situated quite close to the mansion. After 1 year in there i was pardoned, Dr. Whitney's daughter, Lilly Whitney offered to aid help us handle the effects of those experiments in her mansion that she opened for those her father mistreated.

Age: 19 Power: Dreamscape – Dreams Made Manifest after a full 8hrs of sleep Christopher has the ability to mimic things he could do in a dream but not exactly. For instance if in a dream Christopher could fly in reality with his ability active he could probably effortlessly jump about 6ft without trying 10ft if he was. If he could run at the speed of light, in reality he could probably outrun an Olympic athlete with no trouble. In short his dreams determine his abilities. His drawback to this is if he has a night terror then he will gain no ability and whatever hunted him in the dream forces him into a type of psychosis where after he wakes everyone will look like what tried to kill him his movements will be slowed his heart will begin to race and eventually if it persists he will go into cardiac arrest due to this draw back he tries to stay awake as long as possible but it doesn’t always work so more often than not he is seen nodding or dozing off. Bio: Chris used to have friends, shit he used to have a life, but they were soon gone from him seeing as you could only have so much of a life living in a Philly slum, Or rather an orphanage. The few friends he did have were all adopted and he stayed he knew he wasn’t wanted and he understood that as he got older odds were he would just join a gang and have some type of family or life again.
But hope had come one day when a strange older man came to his orphanage and seemed to take an intrest in him and after talking to one of the caretakers he was actually adopted and he found happiness until he found out he was nothing more than a guinea pig. And while he was hurt at this idea it really didn’t matter at the end of the day he had a home to stay at and he began to accept this new life the experiments weren’t so bad he was asleep for the most part but began to have waking nightmares. On good days though he seemed to be able to push his limits beyond anything he was capable off before but this was not enough these waking nightmares caused panic attacks and fear beyond anything he had ever known.
Now a bit older he understands how to deal but staying awake can only be done for so long and what would happen the next time he slept would it be a dream or a nightmare?
Appearance: Name: Kain Lazlof Age: 20 Bio: Kain was one of the first children to be experimented upon, he never had a real family before and now he had one that was until he was adopted out. A you couple who couldn't get children on their own adopted him. He was happy to still have a family even if it was a smaller one. All seemed good in his life that was until 3 years after he moved in with them, they were constantly arguing with each other and got in some real mean fights. Then one day Kain's adoptive father hit his adoptive mother, Kain couldn't let that go and that was as far as he could remember the first time he went into his 'Berserker Mode'. He punched his adoptive father so hard that he sent him through a solid wall. That was the last thing Kain remembers of that event. Now he is all grown up and managed to control his power somewhat, he heard about the facility being reopened again so he decided to go back to the first ever place he could call home. Power: Berserker Mode; When Kain enters his Berserker Mode his eyes shine bright red and he behaves more animalistic. In this mode Kain has super human strength, speed and durability also he barely feels pain. The drawback to it is that he can only control that mode for a few minutes and then he completely loses it attacking friend and foe alike. The only way to stop him then is to knock him out or wait for him to fall unconscious.
Name: Camille Walker Age: 21 Power: Telekinesis, but very very limited at the time Bio: Camille was adopted by a husband and wife when she was just eight months old; everything was supposed to be great. Life never turns out the way you plan though and when she was eleven her parents got a divorce. Apparently it's too much to take care of your child when they aren't biologically yours and Camille found herself back in the foster system. She didn't even know it worked like that, but supposedly her parents hadn't filled out all of the paperwork to make the adoption official rather than just a long-term foster home. That's how she found herself with Dr. Whitney. That time was awful and she's mostly repressed all of the experimentation allowing herself to focus on the good things that came from all of this. She can just barely move things by concentrating on them and it usually takes a large amount of concentration, but she hasn't let that get her down. Now that Dr. Whitney isn't the one at the house she doesn't worry about going back at all, in fact she wants to learn how to control it. She's become a very happy young adult and doesn't let much get to her, although it tends to end with broken plates when she does get upset.
Power: Super Intelligence (Which comes with super observation and memorization)
Bio: Hansel was born the daughter of a 16 year old girl named Susan Miller, who was accidentally impregnated by some one-night stand at her high school. The girl didn't want to get an abortion, but she also knew she couldn't keep it, so that left her with only one option: adoption. So Hansel grew up in an orphanage. It wasn't terrible. The kids were nice to her, and so were the staff. But little Hansel found that she was happiest when she was at her public school. There was something about learning new things and pushing her mind that seemed so natural to her. She was always the best in her class, even the couple times she skipped a year. When she was 10, she was in seventh grade. People treated her the same at the orphanage, or Group Home, as the staff called it, but the kids at school did start bullying her a bit due to her young age. But this only made her focus even more on her schoolwork, and she began improving even further in the academic field.
Finally, when she was 12, her freshman year, she got adopted. She was very happy to hear that the man who was adopting her was a scientist! Dr. Peter Whitney was his name. Hansel was slightly saddened by the news that the scientist would be pulling her out of school, but that feeling of sadness soon evaporated when she heard that she'd be helping Dr. Whitney take leaps forward into uncharted territories of the scientific world. And though many of the experiments were painful and scarring, Hansel stuck with it, never losing faith that she was helping humanity. These experiments continued, until one day, something the doctor did unlocked the power in Hansel's brain. She was smart before the experiments, but this? This was a whole knew kettle of fish! Her intelligence even surpassed Dr. Whitney's by a landslide! In fact, her intelligence surpassed everyone's. At first, it was amazing, the feeling of being able to notice every little thing, the feeling of being able to do anything. But after a while, it became a little too much. Everything she noticed, she remembered. Everything she did, she remembered. Everything she said and heard, she remembered. The human mind can only take so much, even when modified. But somehow, nothing slipped from her human mind.
As soon as Dr. Whitney let Hansel go, she used her newly developed intelligence to track down her birth mother. It was as easy as cake. Literally. Tracking down her long lost mom was as easy, if not easier, than baking a cake. Anyway, Susan Miller was apparently making it big as a novelist and even had a large mansion in San Diego. It took very little convincing for Susan to let her daughter stay in her mansion with her. In the years after, Hansel and Susan became very close. Hansel also became a bit of a shut-in, rarely leaving the comforts of the mansion. In fact she became a little agoraphobic, and was actually slightly afraid of being outside. But that didn't much matter. She had everything she needed in the mansion. That was until she was 20, when she heard about the demise of her dear friend, Dr. Whitney, and the fact that his daughter, Lily, was opening the doors of the mansion back up for the 'victimis' of the experiments. While Hansel disliked the fact that not even the scientist's own daughter could see that what he brought was a gift rather than a curse, she also thought it would only be right to see the results of her idol's experiments in person, even though she'd already read all their files. So she kissed her mother goodbye, promised to call everyday, and set off towards the mansion.

Strengths: Amazing ability to focus consistently (This helps him manipulate the senses of multiple people at a time), incredible visual memory (In a memory he can recall almost every little physical detail as if he was watching a video of his past), near perfect retaining of sensory information (If he recalls on a certain memory, he can remember what the temperature felt like, what he smelled, what he saw, what he could feel)
Weaknesses: His retaining of sensory info and visual memory is severely limited by what he remembers (He has the normal memory of an average human and can't remember every little thing, but what he does remember is in great detail), his ability of Sensory Illusion is based entirely on his will and control (Amazing focus helps with this power, but he can easily lose control of it. For example if he's afraid the hallucinations will turn against him and doesn't regain his composure quick, then he will begin to hallucinate things that terrify him, or his mind will basically go against him thus causing his power to go against him as well.), had a depressing childhood and traumatic experiences (This has the potential to trigger uncontrollable emotions which will greatly affect his ability to control his power.)
Extra: Always wears a coat since he easily gets cold. Enjoys playing chess and card games against himself. Often times seems like a loner. Favourite thing to do is read nonfiction books.

Kailods mother died at birth leaving him with his art obsessed father who was left distraught by his wife's death. His father was negligent, not providing him with the proper needs of a growing child, too obsessed with his paintings. They were poor and living off of support. Kailod grew to be emotionally distant and extremely independent. His dad always forgets his birthday so on his 12th birthday he went to remind his father only to find him dead from severe malnutrition. He was placed in an orphanage where he remained until he was 14. A strange man of eerie uncertainty had taken him in.
Kailod became an experiment, forced through visual images, flashing lights, dna manipulation and brainwave alterations. He read through one of the man's papers while absent during an experiment to find out he had gained a venomous bite from one of the experiments and there was a mention of 'Sensory Manipulation' which would explain his hallucinations of grotesque creatures and beasts when he was afraid. He was later shut out due to his inability to cooperate when too fearful and was tossed into a different orphanage where he was bullied for the first time. Tired of being looked down on and afraid, during a confrontation he visualized himself as a terrifying monster in the eyes of his bully. Said bully was hospitalized. Kailod put two and two together and began to experiment with his new found power, even making people have full conversations with the hallucinations he made them see.
The day before his 18th birthday, he rendered himself invisible to everyone's visual senses, took every bit of information they had on him and set out to start his life. Age 19, he lives in an apartment where he steals food and money using his power. He has yet to test out his venomous bite but has gained control over his base power. During a usual day while browsing the internet, he had come across a recent news article about a familiar individual.
Kailod had been born into a life that was going downhill from day one. His mother had died during birth and he was left with his distraught father who wasn't always readily available to meet his needs as a young child. His father was an obsessed painter trying to make a living through his art, always in a constant belief that he had talent for paintings worthy of a royal palace, despite his art never selling. It was clear to Kailod when he reached age 6 that something was wrong with his father. They had been receiving money through supporting means until his father could get a job, but he was trapped in denial and desperation as he continued to paint. No affection, no fun and games, no playing ball at the park. Kailod grew emotionally distant as he became more independent for his own survival at age 11, cooking his own food, walking to school and doing chores, while his dad continued to slave away in his work room uttering curses into the silence. Kailod's 12th birthday, he woke up to the sound of his alarm and checked the date on his calendar as usual in his morning routine. His birthday. He knew his dad had forgotten again. He headed to his dads work room, since he usually slept in there on a cot. Opening the door he could only see his father still sitting on the stool, leaning his head against a blank canvas, his previous one obviously ripped to shreds next to his feet. He walked over to him shaking his shoulders. "Dad... it's my birthday..." he slid off his stool and fell limp to the ground... 30 minutes later, police and paramedics were scattered about his house after he called 911. They told him his father died of severe malnutrition. Kailod couldn't really fathom what he should have felt in that moment, but one thing was for certain: he truly felt utterly and hopelessly alone.
Everything in his life had been tossed and turned from that point. He was thrown into an orphanage where he was also placed into a program to cope with the recent events. His schooling continued as usual until he was 14, when a strange man had come to see him. The man had a caring smile, but it unnerved him to the bone. Not long after, he finds himself practically forced into a series of little experiments to achieve some unknown goal. Flashing colours and lights through his head, brainwave alterations, visual imaging, dna manipulation, sleepless nights. Despite it all Kailod was afraid to disobey this man, he would tremble at his command as if his life was on the line. No real threat was directed to him, but he always felt more and more vulnerable and different. It was then after some of the experiments, he started to hallucinate things he was afraid of. Suddenly whenever Dr. Whitney came into view, his heart rate would quicken in fear and the man would shift and morph into grotesque and terrifying creatures each time, mimicking what he thought the man really was. He had spoken about it to Whitney, who proceeded to test it out at time, but each experiment on it made Kailod see something worse and more worse each time until he'd gotten too fearful to follow commands. He had taken a peak at the mans papers whenever he left to get something during an experiment; he read very clearly 'Subject gained venomous glands, physical alteration, body doesn't seem to consider as foreign and shows no signs of rejecting it. Subject has been given a venomous bite, wear thicker gloves.'. Another paper had stated 'Sensory Manipulation, likely the given ability through experimentation. Alters perspective according to what subject feels or thinks. May be able to control it, but has gotten more difficult to get subject to cooperate. Further analysis needed.'
After a time with no warning the man had grown much too frustrated with him and he had been sent back to the life of an orphan, but he was transferred to a different orphanage than the previous one. The kids there weren't very kind. It was the first time in Kailod's life that he's been bullied. It was there he had learned of his actual power. His hallucinations weren't so bad since he felt safer outside of the mansion, but he kept thinking back on what the doctor meant by 'given ability'. One day a particular kid he wasn't too fond of approached him, snatching the book he was reading and making fun of his interests. Kailod wasn't very intimidating, small, weak, quiet. It was during this confrontation that he had wished they would see him as scarier, someone you shouldn't mess with. His bully's expression fell from smug slowly to confusion and then horror as Kailod appeared to warp into a faceless monster of oozing black tar right in front of his very eyes. The bully had screamed bringing the attention of everyone in the orphanage. He kept yelling and frantically shouting "MONSTER, IT'S A FREAKING MONSTER!!" he was taken to a hospital and hadn't come back since. Kailod had known full well that a monster is exactly what he imagined himself to look like to the bully. He started to experiment, making people see lights in the corner of their eyes, watching closely as they would look in the direction he had incorporated it into their vision. He knew for sure that he had an incredible power when he had used it on another orphan, making her see her friend and striking up a conversation with her, meanwhile she was talking to thin air. Not only could he make people see, hear and feel these... 'hallucinations' but he could use it on himself as well. His final test on his new ability was the day before his 18th birthday. The next day he would be allowed to leave, but he didn't want to wait anymore, he was patient enough. He altered the visual senses of everyone in his vicinity so that he was completely invisible to them. He grabbed everything he needed and left as if he was never there to begin with, took all his records, everything they had on him and truly started his new life. Sure they'll try looking for him, but he'll already be long gone with a head start.
By age 19, he had completely settled into an apartment where he lived on his own, surviving on food and money he'd stolen using his power. The venom he would occasionally taste every once in a while was simply a mere nuisance that his mind learned to ignore, he has yet to test it out. However, he has gained much more control over his power, often times even being immature with it and messing with people from time to time. Even making himself temporary imaginary friends whenever he got lonely. It was then while browsing the internet, he came across a recent article showing the photo of a very familiar face that sent chills down his spine.
