Physical Appearance:
Built like a brick shithouse. Niklas stands at an impressive 6ft5 and weighs a tremendous 115kg. Whilst he has a small belly growing, most of his weight can be attributed to muscle and his sheer natural size. A weightlifter in his younger days, Niklas still has a rather muscular body but not to anywhere near the standard that it used to be. His light brown skin, although wrinkled in some places, is of a healthy complexion and has few scars or blemishes. His facial features are mostly roundish and would make him look more friendly (despite his size) were it not for his thick eyebrows that make him look like he’s forever in a serious mood; although to be fair that’s not far from the truth. He keeps keep shaven, taking a razor to his face every morning. His dark ebony hair is also kept short as he continues to sport a crew cut, with short sides and a slightly longer length on top. He does not style his hair, instead leaving it in its natural afro-textured state.
Attire:
Niklas will almost always be seen in a three-piece suit, although the presence of a jacket and/or waistcoat will depend on the temperature. He might wear a lab coat or protective clothing whilst carrying out inspections, depending on the facility. When it’s sunny he’ll whack out his aviators.
Personality
Innate & Outward Personality:
If those that knew Niklas had to describe him in one word, they’d probably say ’determined’. Niklas is the kind of individual who is defined by his job, as he certainly shapes his life around his career and the work he does. Working as an Inspector, taking on extremely rich companies, he has to be fierce and unrelenting in his pursuit of knowledge and truth. He often comes off as quite a serious individual, although he may be caught cracking the odd smile or joke here and there. Despite what people might think when they first meet him, Niklas is a truly kind and moral individual, and all he does he does in the name of protecting others.
Hobbies/Interests:
Niklas likes competitive shooting, although he rarely participates anymore. Similarly, he used to be into bodybuilding in his younger days but has long since given this up. In what little spare time he gets he likes to go jogging and will generally participate in tranquil activities (e.g. walks on the beach, reading, or the odd day at a spa).
Skills/Talents:
Armed combat: Niklas spent fifteen years in the Icelandic National Police, just under a decade of which was spent in its counter-terrorism unit. Niklas has therefore had a fair amount of of combat experience, both against ‘regular’ armed combatants and metahumans.
Skilled shooter: In addition to having combat experience, Niklas like many of his old colleagues liked to participate in competitive shooting. As a result of his experience and hobby, he’s a pretty good shot.
Unarmed fighter: Though he is martially trained, just Niklas’ sheer size is enough to make him a decent unarmed fighter. He does however lack the flexibility and speed one might associate with a smaller opponent.
Investigator: A 1st Class degree from Cambridge that taught him the value of critical analysis, fifteen odd years in the police, and five years as a TIMRA inspector, Niklas is a pretty good investigator.
Goals/Motivation
Niklas is very passionate about his job, and it is what currently motivates him. He wishes to pursue TIMRA’s mission of ensuring that Human Rights Laws and International Conventions are abided by. He just wants to protect people.
History/Bio:
Niklas was born in Iceland and was the only son of Amund Einarsson and Fayola Ikedai. Amund was an Iceland-born marine geologist. Fayola was a Nigerian-born literature and poetry teacher who had spent most of her life in England before moving to Iceland. Niklas had a very uneventful but happy life growing up, often getting good grades and developing in a very healthy way. When he turned eighteen he decided to move to Britain so he could attend Cambridge University and study Human, Social, and Political Sciences. His focuses in his third year was on International Conflicts and Human Rights, and he managed to get his dissertation published.
Following graduation, Niklas turned down the opportunity to study further and went back to Iceland where he joined the National Police; having learned a fair bit about human rights he decided that he wanted to pursue a career where he could naturally protect the rights of others. After a few years climbing the ladder Niklas eventually joined the Víkingasveitin, the country’s elite counter-terrorism unit. He spent just under a decade in this role and whilst he saw relatively little conflict (compared to other country’s parallels), he certainly experienced some horrific events involving dangerous meta-humans.
For the last five years however, Niklas has been working as an Inspector for The International Metahuman Research Agency (TIMRA). TIMRA is a multinational agency which answers directly to the United Nations and it’s security council. TIMRA investigates research and medical facilities world-wide to ensure that any research regarding metahumans upholds human rights laws and international conventions. He has been instrumental in the ending of a few organisations that have conducted research for the purpose of weaponising metahumans and/or developing weapons from researching them. TIMRA is a fairly new organisation and was modelled off similar agencies like INTERPOL and The International Atomic Energy Agency.
At current, Niklas is in America trying to conduct inspections on a number of facilities. However the large companies that own these have been persistently managing to block or restrict his access thanks to bribes and government ties.

Niklas mostly relies on public transport/taxis or escorts. He can drive but because of how often he moves around, getting cares (even just hires) can be a pain, especially because of various international driving licence laws and regulations.
Niklas used to be into body building when he was younger, but has long given that up. He still likes to stay fit and healthy though, just not to that extent.
Niklas has contacts all over the globe, from Metahumans he’s rescued to politicians to enforcement officials.

The International Metahuman Research Agency - Shortened to just TIMRA - It is a multinational agency which answers directly to the United Nations General Assembly and the United Nations Security Council. TIMRA has three primary goals: 1) to ensure that Human Rights laws are upheld in research facilities world-wide; 2) to ensure that International Conventions are adhered to by research facilities; and 3) to prevent the weaponising of metahumans and the creation of weapons from metahuman research. TIMRA operates by deploying inspectors across the globe to carry out investigations and assessments in facilities believed to be conducting research on or relating to metahumans. Whilst many countries are cooperative (or claim to be), TIMRA inspectors do not have any inherent authority in whatever given country they find themselves in. TIMRA inspectors often how to work closely with enforcement agencies (such as DOVE/RAVEN) to carry out inspections. TIMRA was modeled off various other multinational agencies such as INTERPOL and The International Atomic Energy Agency.
(Director General) Robert Churchill - The current head of TIMRA, Director Churchill was previously a Human Rights Lawyer for the UN. Little is known about him (more due to a lack of interest than any secrecy), save for his position and the fact that he himself is a metahuman. It's believed he has the ability to transform into a hawk and that his eyes are incredibly sharp.
Niklas Amundsson - Known by most that work for TIMRA, Niklas joined the agency soon after its conception and has since been one of its most successful and prolific inspectors. He is currently making waves in America as he battles for permission to investigate big corporations like The Liu Pharmaceutical Company.
