Also for your second character Arty, there's already a character with a very similar name "Artificer" aka: "Art Cadwell". So you may wanna chance the code name?

And other than Wyvern's extreme sniping, which Im still a little hesitant on regardless, they are both accepted I suppose.

(Oh and I hope the others didn't bail out on this RP, because if they did, that can be directed as the GM's fault for not starting it up sooner when the hype was more real)

Your PM wasn't ignored I'm working on the reviews to the abilities for each character submitted. Though as I've said their abilities aren't entirely relevant to their personality or their introduction post. Though I would agree with @Lmpkio that the name for your second character is rather similar to another OC already. I recommend a change in name. I can help you with that if you'd like.

With that said it was difficult to start the RP when I didn't have all of the character sheets submitted. Though this site has a tendency of RPs dying relatively soon after creation. Hopefully this isn't the case here. As I've said before I do have a personal life that unfortunately has to come before the RP. I'm still dedicated to getting this RP off the ground, but I can't realistically be on the site at all times.

Please remember that I'm also doing this for fun, and sometimes I have priorities. I apologize if anyone feels ignored by me or if I've delayed the RP for too long for your liking. This is the best way I could assure that we had a full cast of characters and that all of the characters were submitted. This is also the reason that I assigned a Co-GM and urged everyone to discuss their characters in the thread so that the entire group could work together should there be an issue with a character.

I also wanted to say thank you to everyone (especially @Lmpkio) for your continued interest and enthusiasm in not only the RP but in Overwatch as a whole. It's really great to see everyone come together. I hope my other post didn't come off as passive aggressive as that wasn't my intention. It was just the reasoning why I can't be as active as I'd like. I've had some serious family issues lately (sorry if this is tmi), and that has taken a lot out of me.

Np man, anytime :) When I see a RP that has really good potential and a good fanbase and following, I do my damn hardest to make it work. Call me an entrepreneur, but RPing can be sometimes seen as business. :P

In all fairness it's been 22 hours since the IC went up, which isn't a long time at all, with three mentions in that time. I'll probably start work on my post on Monday because I have Real Life Shit™ to sort out and am in the same boat as Fab when it comes to not (or rarely) posting on weekends. ^^

I have no clue. I got stuck in rank 49 out of my Promos and that was luckily like right when Ranked came out so it was all over the place rank wise. I got a winstreak up to 54 where I was stuck for a good week on a constant win then lose then win then lose kinda deal. Eventually I just somehow got a big enough win streak to get to where I am now.

I'd say believe, but with how things are in Overwatch, you just gotta queue with 5 others cause relying on even two randoms can lose you a game even if you played amazingly.

I think I watched a YouTube video explaining this. A guy with really good game sense, decent aim, and objective play was stuck in the low 40s because he could never get a good team who communicated via mics or even just chat. His stats were great, showed good team play, but it just... You know... No team to take advantage of that. So he's stuck down there.

But yeah, solo queue is hell for getting out of the mid to low 40s. I'd find a lotta people willing to play competitive to get you outta there.

Edit: I remember now. I got outta the high forties because these 5 others after we stomped a match were like "HEY YOU ALL WANNA QUEUE TOGETHER ILL INVITE YOU ALL" and that got me to 54 where I could solo queue where all I had to worry about was myself and how I was playing.

I would suggest not playing tank or support that low. Because you rely so heavily on your team it's hard to actively win games without enough back up. Unless you're Roadhog where you're pretty self-sustaining. I'd go with offense and defense heroes where you can attempt to carry yourself out. (Never underestimate a good ass Mei who can not only place her walls well but also stall for the longest ass time. *cough* @McHaggis *cough*)

I play mainly tanks and a few offense, so it was a bit difficult for me until I got competent enough teammates (I say that like I haven't made mistakes; I've messed up and tilted plenty, it's just a lot less harsh when you have teammates who can back up your slack) I still think my highest playtime is definitely Symmetra. I'm getting up there with Pharah and Zarya tho.

(But also if you all wanna play I'm usually free after work. Or at least I try to be. Video gaming is my wind down before I get into writing. I usually can chunk stuff out on my days off but for days I work I take writing a little bit at a time)

If you've got a Mercy and they aren't flying to you to save your ass you're either a.) being dumb enough to 1v6 and she's not about to give them more meter or b.) you're about to do something as dumb and she's looking at you because she knows you're being stupid, not because she's about to save you.

In my defense, I only play her in quick match right now and I'm doing it so I can learn her more effectively. But I always auto select Ana and half the time my team is like "Yeah sure I'll play highly mobile flankers and go behind walls where Ana can't hit me and then bitch at her for not healing"
