Ciel got pissed off that people were trying to make mince meat of the Leviathan, instead of just fighting normally.

And Eos decided to dirty her hands, if she wants the Machina to have even the least sliver of chance to win now that they decided to mess with the bull.

Still, this further cements my resolve that this is some long term plan by Eos and that the battle doesn't actually matter all that much.

So.. Artoria doesn't have any attacks or defenses that seem to be up to snuff vs Eos. Anyone want to hitch a ride on the "rapid portalling out of KC-00032 to regroup" express?

Just to make sure that no one forgets anything from my last, since I gave up on doing live updates for this battle (I'll leave this idea for the next one):

- The Tornado is no more, meaning that all the weird wind physics just suddenly are gone.

- As a consequence from such a huge rain of debris is falling back to the ground.

- The Leviathan is gone before people could turn it into mince meat.

- The Big Cheese has been summoned.

- There's also a rain of muddy water and chunks of rocks, along with another rain of meteors.

- A barrier is preventing non-Angels from going in and out of KC-00032.

- Taura used an empowered Holy Hand Grenade outside of factory, while also attacking Unit-T.

- Eos torched the inside of KC-00032, killing the Demon Roses and likely hurting anyone inside, who's not a Machina powered up by her songs.

- Lastly Eos is engaging Tartys and Mephilus(a).

Let's say yes just to have anti-portal technology for once. Though KoL's words specifically say, "non-Angels". So I suppose in Artoria's case it's a matter of if she got her teleportation from an Angel or not.

Everything is as @TheWindel said. Artoria can always duke it out with Ruxen, or do some other stuff. Eos just blocked that cheap lava trick and probably toasted both of their furs a bit.

Actually, yeah. Ruxen is considered of Heaven and can teleport. Artoria can always try to make her teleport out of there.

@KoL@TheWindel Yeah, Artoria has no actual fire or radiation resist abilities (I've been hoping to steal fire resist from Diana), and if Eos is letting out a star's worth of plasma, I don't think Leviathan breath can counter that.

Well, first, Eos' attack isn't supposed to be a 1-hit KO move (especially to someone who can use Gates of Bullshit to tank the brunt of it. So, I guess you are exaggerating quite a bit. Second, didn't both Ira and Mephilus have resistance to fire? Artoria probably should have got some of it from one of them.

It's exactly what @The 42nd Gecko said. The Machina (and by extension the factory) are protected by Eos from her own area attacks. It's pretty much obvious that friendly fire isn't fun when you are playing the support role.
