If Henry, Miyu, and Fran all come to the Machina side, can Bonesword fittingly show them around Hyperion? I feel like it would make sense for someone like them to help them 'fit in.'

Yes.

Can Zeruel and his troops now find the 3 rebellious mis-fits or no? Just wondering...

Fine, I don't see a problem with it. Will make it better for them to notice that the Machina are gonna treat them like low level grunts.

Considering the Twins are currently fighting each other to the death over whether or not to kill a 'child' demon, I can only imagine the warm reception they'd recieve. And who knows what limiters are forced upon them to make sure this isn't some infiltration attempt to corrupt Machina from within their capital.

Bonesword is treated like shit and he's fought for the Machina in three battles since his enlistment (he did not fight in KC-00032, though), so the fact that they'd be treated like shit is something to definitely note.

@KoL
I'd argue that it would mainly apply to Fran, Henry, and Bonesword, mainly because Miyu's only difference between her and a normal human is that Miyu has wings. Otherwise she has a mech and B.E.A.S.T, so there's that. There'd obviously be some hate, of course, but she'd be able to adapt to living in Hyperion better than the demons.

That's just my opinion though.

If they're recruited by Grafdakka than they'll be treated like Grafdakka's soldiers.

Which he's never actually had before so who knows how they'll turn out.

I doubt anyone would consider Henry a "low level grunt" considering he has natural Silver Eyes. He wouldn't be a commander for sure, but I find it hard to believe anyone with Gold or Silver Eyes would be considered a grunt.

You're right, he wouldn't be considered a grunt. He'd be considered a threat.

All the more reason why Grafdakka would take him under his wing. Or at least convince Henry to be a double agent for Grafdakka between him and the demons.

@Banana

Eos isn't dumb, she knows who Miyu is and what she's capable of very, very well. The simple fact that she can admit people like Miyu, Henry and Fran to join the Machina defies logic, but can be done for the story's sake.

Nevertheless, none of them can ever expect any form of decent treatment if they don't work very hard to prove themselves (and even then, Eos might still keep the remote termination button at hand at all times). The fact that Bonesword hasn't received any rewards is based this very argument, he hasn't proven himself yet and likely will take more time (he run away from Arcadia for no reason!).

They can join, but until they prove to not be a threat to the Machina, they'll be treated as 3rd class individuals and potential betrayers/spies. You can't really ask for more.

I would assume that Eos would attempt to convince them to stay, but never give them any opportunity to betray her (can an android be a her?) That would be the most logical strategy. Give them rewards for their actions in terms of nice houses and shit, but don't increase their combat power and make sure they're never in a position to really hurt her.

Minimise the chance of betrayal while never being vulnerable to it.

You don't understand. She'd be accepting an overwhelmingly horny succubus who rapes everyone she meets, a Demon embodying Greed who is hopelessly compelled to claim or steal, and Miyu. Miyu, who has surpassed Lucifer levels of treachery and duplicity and backstabbed every single faction she's sided with.

There is no minimizing. There is only hoping the Machina can nail down enough things that when the betrayal comes, they have anything left to rebuild with!

That's the idea, but they'd have to do something first. Because the single reason Bonesword wasn't rewarded in any way up to now is because he never achieved anything and actively run away from a battle.

Just compare it to Eos' treatment of the Twins and Krieg. She rewards them when they achieve something, but punishes them when they fail, that's an incentive to get better. It's basic management skills. Blindly trusting proven betrayers isn't.

@Lmpkio It's your call man. I'm not the boss of you. But yeah, we got what we needed to have accomplished accomplished. But on the other hand, we also do want to get inducted into Team Grafdakka. So the Machina may show up to bail us out.

If there really is no chance of them not betraying the Machina, then just use the opportunity to deal with all of them permanently. Drop their guard in any way possible and wipe them out.
