I know, I meant to address them in my last post but the battle was already well underway. I figured we didn't have time for small banter, but my next post will properly address Bastion! Though I do need Mega and Flame to post too.
I'm writing my post now. Depending on where I want Bastion to be, there might be more banter.
Not so much "accept defeat" as "Every bit of him has exploded" so unless there is respawning this time around he's out.
Ah, but I believe I have a solution to your problem. As KoL said, Grafdakka's tactics are the best for this battle, and originally I was going to withhold his Commander Power until it was needed. But saving the best for later just isn't Grafdakka's style.
But Grafdakka does have a weakness, a natural weakness that most if not of all Machina has towards demons.
I will be curt: Would you like Balrog to fuse with Grafdakka to obtain power beyond their control?
Effectively, Grafdakka intends to tap into his powers of the Lesser Golden Eyes (Given to him by High Queen Eos) which isn't nearly as powerful as true Golden Eyes, but for the purpose of what he needs them for it'll be enough. He'll be using it to empower himself while Endian gathers the scrapped machina around the battlefield to add to Grafdakka's form, creating a more powerful, more armored version of himself. Of course, most of the Killa Kans are actually still active, so Grafdakka doesn't really have much to add onto him.
Except that Balrog just went kabloowie, and bits of him is everywhere. You see where I'm getting at?
Now I don't know what sort of demon Balrog is exactly. I doubt he's the type who is particularly interested in "Possessing" mortals or whatever. However if he hasn't resurrected yet, I imagine that he has a lot of lingering sentiment i.e. REALLY FUCKING PISSED OFF at recent events. So Grafdakka is going to graf parts of Balrog to himself for moar dakka. That's when Balrog, still possessing the remains of his corpse, invades Grafdakka's mind and offers him a simple question: Does Grafdakka want power?
Of course he does, and thus he and Balrog will fuse and BECOME DAKKA!
"I brought a knife to a gunfight, and I'm still gonna kick ass."
Name: Bonesword is all he goes by, and all he will respond to when asked about his name.
Title: The Bonesword
Age: Unknown.
Gender: Male
Allegiance: Machina.
Race: Demon.
Height: 5'9".
Personality: A silent, brave, and valiant heroic type. He values loyalty over a fair amount of other traits, and he tends to fight very defensively and patiently. He is not against nor for the Machina, but will defend humans if he sees they are in danger, be the attacker an angel or demon.
History:
A long time ago, a single mushroom was growing in a forest. A purple mushroom, with green spots, and a very bone-like material as the stalk. Years later, a skeleton rose from the ground in that spot, his skull topped by the head of a mushroom, and his soul free. He began to roam the world that was resistant of the Nexus' influence, eventually finding a human settlement where he attempted interaction. After the attempt, he was hastily rejected due to his appearance being frightful. Saddened and discouraged, the skeleton roamed more, stumbling across a demon settlement, where they welcomed him as a brother. There he learned how to live for himself and how to care and defend people he loved.
Eventually the demons were enraged at the humans, who slaughtered the livestock and burned down a forest. When the skeleton heard the demons were going to go and pillage the humans, the skeleton was glad to join in the endeavor, and marched onwards to go and kill the humans who insulted him so long ago. Once they were there, the demons slew all of the men in the settlement, leaving only the women and children captured.
As the demons rejoiced in their victory, the skeleton couldn't help but feel remorse for what he did that day, how he killed those men, and what the demons were going to do to the women and children... Right before the unforgivable happened to those captured, the skeleton drew his sword in the name of justice, and defended the humans with all of his might. The amount of blood spilled that day was unforgettable and traumatic. The villagers did not know whether or not the skeleton wanted them all for himself or if he wanted to protect them, but either way they tried to slay him to avoid a bad situation in case of that. The skeleton fled, unwilling to hurt those humans, and returned to his life of roaming the lands in search of new people to meet.
Many years passed, and the skeleton got tired of roaming and finished off his life of that, making a small shelter in a cave off in a forest. It was a bit later when a human child found him when he was roaming the world. Much to the skeleton's surprise, the child did not run from the demon, rather thought he was funny-looking and treated him like a friend. The skeleton felt a sense of companionship, something he had been without for a long time, and a bond unlike most others was formed, where the two treated eachother like brothers, and when the child's village was attacked, the skeleton came out of hiding and defended every single one of the humans in that village, not letting a single one perish from a demon's weapon.
Every human but one, anyway. The child was slain by the brawniest, bloodiest, and most vile demon in the raid, who thought it would cripple the feelings of the skeleton and make him submit to the raiders. What followed that day was the first instance of an Honor Strike, and holy hell did it finish the raid. The skeleton was celebrated for his heroic actions by the humans, and was welcomed back into the village at anytime.
When the dead child's funeral was had, the skeleton toon an oath. From that day on, he would defend mankind with his life, until either the day he died for good, or the day that mankind betrayed him again. Hopefully that doesn't happen for a long time.
Powers:
Enter: the Sharpswordsman Throwing swords proves very useful if there are any around. Simply put, this ability allows for Bonesword to throw any sort of sword with incredible accuracy and power. For a visual explanation, think about how the sword throwing in Superhot works.
Bloody Harvest Bonesword animates sentient plant-life close to him, and whatever is animated is sworn to do whatever Bonesword desires until the task is completed or the animated dies.
Undeath As long as the skull of Bonesword remains intact, his soul is still present and he is able to take another skeleton's body for himself, provided that a nearby plant is around to carry him to a new body anyway.
Honor Strike One strike, empowered with the memories and feelings of brotherly love, is delivered to an enemy, greatly damaging them. Any and all demons tremble in the sight of this, and are blazed in a holy light, devastating them for near deadly amounts of damage. Catch is, Bonesword must be under insane amounts of stress to use this power. *This power is not holy, it is just aimed at demons because of history and beef with them.
Weapons: The Shroomblade Crafted specifically for the use by Bonesword, this blade's scabbard replicates the mushroom head on Bonesword, and has proven it's near indestructibility. Throughout the years, it has acquired a taste for the blood of demons, and as a result, it has a potency against demons.
Did specifications. I forgot if anything else was needed because Marching Band has my brain fried. If any last-minute adjustments need to be made let me know. @TheWindel

Quick suggestions. Make the sword throw armor breakingly strong. Buff Bloody Harvest, some locations aren't going to have plant life. So make it so you can create your own. Same with Undeath, having to have a skeleton around is too situational. Make it so you can make a plant body when your skeleton body is destroyed. Everything else seems pretty good though.
Accepted. Please place him into the Character Tab. Due to his shifting alliance with the Machina, we'll be keeping an eye on him. As for entering this specific battle, just assume he was on one of the Machina airships heading towards the conflict; unless you had something planned for how he would join this battle?
