Will this effect be heavy enough to ground the carrier Marquis is in?
I don't think so. It'll certainly make the ships less agile, but I think they can handle way more than just the amount of pressure Juno put on them, as long as they do as Hibiki told and stay away from her, that is.
Why must everything Juno does end up as a direct counter to Marquis?
I might just have to go ragebot.exe, where reality gets broken.
If you think about it, she actually increased the damage of his shots, because you add the acceleration of gravity when shooting downwards, and all that thing. He'll just have to compensate his aim once more.
Conversely, only Omega can engage Marquis and be unpunished by the gravity right now, since energy shots shouldn't lose any appreciable acceleration to a small gravity well such as that one.
So, I suppose my post will be "And then Miyu hit the ground really hard and exploded." Unless Miyu got far enough away. She was moving directly away from the battle as fast as she could.
Unless she's at a really short range, I think the mecha will be able to fly, but burdened, depending on range. Shooting might get complicated, though. By the way, editing a reply to Graf's question on your post may be a good idea, as to not let us stuck waiting for Miyu to press the Yes/No button.
