I get that scientist want to keep everything rather sterile in terms of science and using the Common Era stuff just makes sense for them. I believe in Jesus and everything, so I'm probably going to use the BC/AD thing myself. It centers around the same time, right? That being said, I'm pretty sure more hardcore religious people could take offense to it, though I myself can't think of a reason why. Teach your kids about religon if you're afraid of secularized schooling breaking their faith, because that's just the way things our now, and you should probably be doing that anyway.

Alright guys, I have some bad news. Akaya is having some marriage issues and is feeling really heartbroken and empty. She says she may post to put her characters in a better position but otherwise may disappear for..... Well I don't know, quite a bit. I really wish I could help her more since she really helped me when I had problems with my relationship, luckily I have an understanding girlfriend who quickly forgave me but I don't think things are going the same for her.

So. Smoaky kwarps has one arm, and then two arms branching out of half an arm. However, given their fighting style, this seems to be an advantage. So, how do fusions' appearance work? It definitely hasn't been the combined height for a long time now, and we've seen that the fusions can have entirely unique traits that neither Gem's abilities feed into. In fact, fusions seem to be part fusees, part fusion. Like how Emerald's mind is comprised of Emerald and his two head-voice Emeralds, but primarily Emerald. (e.g. Alexandrite seems to be 1/5 Garnet, Amethyst, and Pearl (and STE-NO THIS ISN'T THE THEME) and 2/5 Alexandrite. This, as we saw in Fusion Cuisine, is a recipe for disaster.

So, for the appearance and general aesthetic, I like to think of it like this. The Crewniverse loves their symbols and metaphors, and that applies to everything about the fusion. The fusion is an amalgam of whoever is participating in it, but also their own person entirely. While I was put off by the extra half arm in the beginning, it made me realize the differences between Amethyst and Steven. Their fusion, appearance wise, is almost perfect. The only abnormality is the extra arm, and I think that's because, while Steven and Amethyst are so similar in so many ways, how they handle their problems can sometimes be different, their actions differ from one another in some cases.

Garnet, the same thing can be said. Nearly perfect, but sapphire and Ruby don't always see eye to eye. Opal? Calm, kind, and a straightforward thinker, she knows what she has to do, but also knows what other options can be taken to achieve the same goal, the same can be said for Sandonyx, but added with the fact that Ganret and Pearl don't always have the same goals.

Fusions seem to be a combination of X and Y, but also taking the newly found Z and adding that to X and Y as well.

Is it strange that I think that Smokey Quartz is easily the second most stable fusion that we've seen? (First being Garnet, obviously) Like, they didn't even have to do the setup. My guess is that they didn't need to synchronize, just because they already were, in a way. Also, Steven and Amethyst just go together really well. (I don't ship them, if that's what you're thinking)

Yeah, but it works, in the steven universe way that it does. People are theorizing that because they're both quartz gems, they don't need to dance to fuse and synchronize, especially after as saw Jasper force-fusing with Biggs-monster. I just think that they're already so synced that they don't need to dance, and plus that was a hug of raw emotion, nothing can beat the power of love and friendship
