@LuckyBlackCat I'm not really one for nicknames unless I happen upon a shiny. I don't think Rheese is going to be joining in the name game. I am kind of unsure whether I should have Rheese watch the battle or just go capture Larvitar.

On a side note, I'm really glad we've finally reached the first gym leader. It only took us a few months >.>

@Heckno12 I don't really do nicknames in the games, but will do that in RPs. It helps to differentiate Pokemon. I'd be surprised if nobody else wanted fossils, after all.

For NPCs, I'm not so concerned with nicknaming Pokemon, but am more likely to do so if there are several of the same species (like the Delacloude sisters' Castforms).

And yes! Finally! I wonder how long it'll take for each character to get through eight gyms...

@LuckyBlackCat Depends, some gyms may be easier for certain people...and some may be almost impossible. Now that we've passed the introduction though, things should move a bit quicker.

I imagine the grass type gym is going to be a big hurdle for Rheese no matter what I do at this point. It may just be the one Rheese has to pass on in the long term. Vareena's probably going to be among the towns we stay in the longest given everything planned.

The Grass gym's probably going to be the toughest one for Amber, but she'll need to get through it to be able to teach her Yanma Giga Drain.

Maybe that gym will be easier for Rheese if he has Salandit by then? As long as he can get past Lotad/Lombre/Ludicolo, of course...

@LuckyBlackCat Yeah, sand teams are something I'd like to think I know. Character wise he's really distant and cold seeming(as well as intimidating), though once someone gets past that he's probably one of the most kind and loyal people you could possibly find.

@fer1323 Contest preparation can happen soon if you want, Solanna will be able to teach Oscar a few techniques. Though a certain detective will probably turn up at the Pokecentre first...

And with the way things are going, it probably won't be long until Sophia has to rush to the Pokecentre.
