@LuckyBlackCat Arrogant sounds about right. Certainly that Oscar will have to learn to shut his mouth more. Oscar might be wise but he needs to learn how to deal with other poeple. The work with others is in him but no one has given him the chance to yet. Oscar uses first impressions as a standard and with ever encounter, the standard changes. It would help if Sophia learns humility and seeing though others' perspective.

@fer1323 Yeah, looks like they're both going to learn things from each other, and Sophia's going to learn some things from her own experiences. Pokemon RPs have pretty good potential for coming of age stories.

@Heckno12 Which moveset do Pokemon in this get? The XY one, or the ORAS one? Because I'm just wondering what level Sophia's Staryu should be, 5 or 6. It obviously has Water Gun, and in XY it learns that at lv6, but in ORAS, it learns the move at lv4.

@LuckyBlackCat I wouldn't be way too concerned about that, we're going to be approximating levels (at least outside of Showdown). So long as you're in the ballpark with it I don't mind.

Ok, seeing as @fer1323 doesn't want this, I'm claiming it for Sophia.

Sophia's battle theme

Now I think about it, some parts of it have this eerie, elegant feel, which works for her image (when she's not getting humiliated by a Pokemon). I can picture her being someone else who puts her all into her fighting style. Besides, it's a remix of a champion theme, and what more fitting for someone who aspires as high as Sophia does?
